You were excited to see Mace in his unit after he had comforted you days ago after your nightmare. You dressed in your small white pencil skirt that had fluff all around the bottom. You paired it with your white, tight and thin hoodie that had fluff all around the hood. It clung to your shape and you smiled. You paired it with white tights and leg warmers, all completed with you white fluffy boots.

You looked like a cute little snowball. As you headed into station, you walked down the corridor and was about to enter his unit, when you heard another voice. A female voice. You peaked in and saw Mace flirting with one of the helpers. He was actually smiling at her and laughing. You felt your heart shatter. You knew you were stupid for liking a guy like Mace.

You knew the woman helper, her name was Mallory. She was pretty. Her hair was long and dark but always held up in a bun. She wore a pair of glasses and you always stared at her, taking in how pretty her green eyes could be. She had a PhD in astrophysics. It made sense though. She was smart and she probably wasn't asking any stupid questions to Mace, instead she was probably helping him while getting him number.

You should have trusted your friends advice, you clung to any attention that you got and then you relied on it. You relied on Maces attention to cheer you up and now that you didn't have it, it felt like you were being crushed. You took your phone out and with a sigh blocked his number. It wasn't healthy to rely on a guy like James, he was barely nice. You were doing a kindness for yourself. Again.

You couldn't count how many times you had gone through this charade with boys that you liked. You tucked your phone away and headed to the biology unit. The garden there was pretty and you were desperate to see it. With a new found determination to sweep away the memories of your quicky broken heart, you walked to the unit. You gently knocked on the door and opened it before slipping in and closing the door. Corazon turned and saw you, she flashed you smile and walked over to you.

"Hello there honey, you look nice today." You smiled at her, positively beaming at the compliment. "Thank you!" Corazon couldn't help but smile as widely, you happiness was infectious. "Is there a special occasion?" You looked down sheepishly, "My ex is picking me up and dropping me off at the mall to meet my friends, but he's also giving me my iPod back." Corazon laughed and pulled you over to her new plants.

You quizzed her on everything, from why the petals were crucial to the flower to why they came in different colours. She answered patiently, putting you at ease. Yet your brain lingered on thoughts of how Mace would roll his eyes and answer it in his usual grumpy tone. You spent a while in the garden unit, naming all the flowers and talking to them all just as Corazon instructed. You also spoke to Corazon. "Hey Core." She hummed not looking at you, yet giving you the attention you needed.

"If you liked a guy and you saw him flirting with another girl, what would you do?" Corazon turned and stared at you with an arched brow, you looked back at her and blinked questioningly. "What I would do doesn't matter sweetheart. This is your decision, let your mind choose for you when you're in autopilot mode." You hummed, she was right. Maybe the best thing to do was only act when the time was right. And with that you flashed her a smile and she turned and returned back to work. You then turned to a pretty sapphire blue flower and began talking to it.

Your phone alerted you with a ding, ruining your conversation with this one flower you named Howard, about how you were frustrated that Max kept bringing you dead mice.

'hey I'm outside this huge place. I got ur iPod too.'

You smiled, "Hey Core! I have to go, but I promise I'll visit again tomorrow! Do you like tea or coffee?" A silence passed for second and then Corazon replied softly, "Tea." You hugged her and walked out the door and gently closing it again. You began walking down the corridor and sent a quick text to Liam telling him you're coming now. As you were walking you passed by the engineering unit and saw Mace sat staring at his phone with a frown etched on his face.

You didn't have time to linger on his facial expression and instead walked out. The second you stepped into the car park, Liam began his obnoxious honking making you roll your eyes. You quickly walked to the car and got in. "Hey babe, you're looking fine." You ignored him and grabbed your iPod. After 10 minutes of enduring his ego spilling out past his mouth, you were finally at the malls parking lot. You quickly got out and gave him a quick "Thank you."

With a sigh you walked into the mall and went to order a strawberry smoothie and you sat in the indoor cafés seating area. You checked your phone and frowned. All your friends had cancelled on you, further dampening you mood for the day. You got up and walked around the mall, buying a new pair of shoes and the iconic Clueless outfit. You looked around one last time and went home.

The second you got home, you grabbed a tub of ice cream and headed upstairs. You saw Max fast asleep on your bed, you threw yourself into bed and put on 'La La Land.' needing a cover story incase someone came in and asked why you were crying. This way you could say it's because of a movie rather than a stupid boy. A stupid boy that you liked. And with that you fell asleep crying and decided not to go into the station for week.

You shot an apology text to Corazon but said you'd still send her a tea and that it would be waiting for her in the cafeteria.

Big Daddy -  A large dragon who came to Emerald city and worked as an unground fighter to earn his keep. He made a name for himself for being the most brutal fighter and quickly rose in the ranks to be top dog. He grew addicted to a magical drug called Corazon de Diablo which is an herb that massively increases libido and pleasure senses. This caused him to be well known throughout Emerald Cities various strip clubs and every hooker in the town knew who he was.  As time went on his addiction to the drug and sex grew more and more and he eventually started buying out the strip clubs to have himself constant access to the girls he fancied.  With the prolonged use of the drug, the fighting and brawling Big Daddy eventually started making a lot of enemies. Those who he out ranked in the fighting arena and those whose business he had taken over. This lead to many attempts on his life in the form of cursed jewelry, which he wears now proudly as a fuck you to those who tried to kill him.  No one is sure how he managed to stay alive with so many cursed items on him but it’s rumored his drug use along with his own dragon magic is providing a safety barrier.  Unlike most dragons Big Daddy doesn’t use his magic much, preferring to use his physical strength. He also doesn’t use weapons when fighting.  He’s a water dragon hybrid though no one knows what his other half is, some say he’s not even full dragon but a hybrid of a more powerful magical creature.  Due to his lack of practice he can barely control small amounts of water.  In the copy of the game Vermin is in Big Daddy’s desires lead him to not only take over Emerald city but all the surrounding cities as well. Fighting and breaking down the bosses of the other regions he’s gained almost full control of his game. Most of his underlings truly despise him and are always looking for ways to usurp him.  He’s a very self centered asshole, with a constant desire to fight or fuck, sometimes both if he finds the right partner. He’s rough and violent with everyone and treats others as play things. He takes what he wants when he wants and doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘no’. He’s a vile creature through and through and he’s not ashamed of it at all. 

King -  A beetle dragon hybrid native to Diamond city. He’s was born into the wealthy family ruling and was raised to be a gentleman. His family is in the healing business and uses the plants that grow in their hometown to create remedies for all sorts of ailments.  King was taught how to identify all types of plants and knows how to properly use all variety of foliage to get any effects he wants with his potions and elixirs. He was also raised how to use a sword and fights expertly with his long sword. King is the most gentle of the games bosses and rarely fights unless absolutely necessary. He was the first to bow down to Big Daddy when the other made a move for his land.  Because of his trustworthy nature he’s the only of Big Daddy’s underlings that he trusts.  King isn’t interested much in the sex side of his game and much prefers to enjoy time with the geishas from his village. Having tea with beautiful women and hearing them play the shamisen is more than enough for him.  He’s also the only of the cast who prefers a monogamous relationship. 

Emperor -  A massive black cobra naga who rules the Sapphire Sands. Emperor is older than Big Daddy but only technically. He was sealed away for hundreds of years in a tomb for destroying his homeland and for his work with dark magic. He was set free when explorers discovered his tomb and released him and he was back to rule his kingdom once again.  The time spent locked away had blackened his soul further and he’s become a cruel violent creature who lashes out at anything and everyone who dares step in his path.  He hoards a massive wealth and guards it with his life, some are insistent the he has to be part dragon due to his greed but he’s not.  He uses his body to wrap up his prey and usually consumes others whole.  While he has massive fangs they’re actually incredibly weak and can shatter easily if he’s not careful which is why he prefers to strangle his foes.  He dons several bits of jewelry that amplify his power over the sand which he uses as a cloaking device to help hide his home from those who would attempt to steal what is his. The sapphires also provide a cooling aura that help him withstand the blazing heat of the desert.  He goes through partners quickly as most tend to find him unbearable and difficult to accommodate. So far he’s only been able to keep Mei Mei the cyclops hare as a partner for any length of time though the two are often butting heads and arguing.  He truly despises Big Daddy and has tried to murder him on more than one occasion. Despite being bested each time he refuses to give in and when the two met it always starts a brawl. 

Her Highness - Royal ruler of the insectoid fairies that live in the Quartz Caves she’s the eldest daughter who took over the throne after killing her mother. She resembles a massive blue wasp and is fierce and cunning. Like all the fairies in Violent Tendencies she has a strong sense of pride in her ability to fight and will take on foes much larger than herself without hesitation. She governs her home with an iron fist and is quick to punish anyone who doesn’t pull their own weight.  Her preferred weapon of choice is a spear tipped with a purple quartz that was dipped in her own venom which amplified it’s toxic properties. She also uses small daggers with similar magic gemstone and toxins depending on the situation.  Her Highness was the second to fall to Big Daddy’s tyranny but did not succumb to him as easily as King. The two brawled for six days straight before Her Highness finally collapsed from exhaustion and kneeled before Big Daddy. While she has her pride she knows when she loses a fight and accepts defeat gracefully.   She like King does not attempt to usurp Big Daddy as she lost to him fair and square and holds respect for the dragon.  She’s graceful but hardworking and rarely indulges in any recreational activities though she says no when offered a drink of mead. She also has a massive sweet tooth and will instantly accept any offerings of honey. 

Mimosa - Cyclops beast ruler of the yet unnamed section of Violent Tendencies.  Don’t have much for her yet just that she’s a BIG woman (9ft tall) and is a cunning trickster who likes to mess with others for fun. She uses illusion magic as do all cyclopes in Violent Tendencies and uses it to her advantage to sneak into places she’s not supposed to be.  She’s got a sweet face but is very quick to turn on people.  She has a great hatred for Big Daddy and has made several attempts on his life over the years. 

That’s the five main leaders, there’s a few other character I’d like to post what I have written about them but this post is long enough as it is lmao so I’ll make another one with that info later.

it seems lima has seen an influx in eclectic new girls! the latest in question is @sapphirefm​ who has allegedly been at lima university for the past year, but we’ve never heard of her! as it turns that may be an intentional spell cast by sapphire who is rumored to be a witch! sources say she was seen bathing in goats blood under a full moon while on a ‘jog’ in the park last weekend! despite fearing for the safety for ourselves here at the muckraker, we think it’s important we bring this dangerous secret to light. if anyone knows a good anti-hex protector, contact us! who knows how she may retaliate to this article.

HOCKEY HUNK LOSING HIS TOUCH? (pg 6)

while we’re not sure why, it seems hockey all star and new directions golden boy @julien-schuester​ was seen striking up conversation with @taemoonbeiste​! that’s right, taemin beiste. in case like us you didn’t know who that is, he is NOT a foreign exchange student, but rather theo beiste’s less athletically inclined little brother. why rising star julien would give this nobody the time of day? we aren’t sure, but we sure do hope that it doesn’t bump down his cool factor! the mullet already does that for him. 

5YOW NO MORE! TATUM THREATENS TO LEAVE BAND AFTER SCANDAL! (pg 8)

after last weeks prom lip syncing scandal, no wonder it’s come out that five years of winter’s @tatumfm​ has been threatening to leave the band! as far as we’ve heard, the lip syncing wasn’t his idea and he called it would backfire! of course, the idea was planted in his head long ago by one finn schuester, but their botched performance being exposed is allegedly the catalyst for him stepping down from the group to pursue solo efforts. maybe if he got out of lima he’d actually find some success.

arguably my favorite tip of the week, it turns out  @finnschuesters much less boring than we initially thought! an inside source has told us that finn and her intern @leo-mccarthy​ have gotten down and dirty at the lima public radio studios! we don’t blame them, working a  job that should’ve ceased to exist about a decade ago can only be so entertaining. the only unexpected aspect of it all is that both of these loner snooze fests were freaky enough to do it at their place of work! it really is the quiet ones, huh. hey! radio may be a dying art, but apparently the classic boss/secretary porn trope isn’t!

Silver Heart III. Oxidised sterling silver, garnets and sapphires. 5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm. . This was the third heart that I had cast, and I went for a more experimental approach. The wax had not been quite hot enough when I slip cast it in the silicone mould, so pour marks and gaps were evident but I like them very much. I embellished the edge of the open face with lots of garnets and tiny black sapphires, mostly to see if cast-in stones would work on something this size. En realidad querría publicar esto en un horario diferente, pero los astros se han alineado para que lo haga ahora.

En el día de hoy, damas y caballeros, quiero anunciarles con alegría que un nuevo personaje se incorpora a nuestras amplísimas filas. Estoy realmente emocionado y con ganas de que lo conozcan y roleemos juntos.

Debo aclarar, eso sí, que se trata de un OC levemente particular: es un trabajo en conjunto con la fantástica @nohrian-imouto, de modo que las respuestas estarán a cargo de ambos. Mención muy aparte merece la labor de Sapphire, que se lució muchísimo armando el blog y creando íconos mientras yo... bueno, cazaba moscas.

Insisto en que estoy contento porque es una idea que me divierte a montones y porque nunca me había enfrentado a la construcción de un personaje desde cero, así que supone un desafío muy grande (al menos para mí).
