Blade Condition: Very good – some cosmetic blemishing present in the form of scratches and scuffs, mostly along the edge of the blade and tip

Hilt Condition: Excellent condition with minimal minor blemishing. Components still solidly fitted

Grip: Very good condition overall

Scabbard: Very Good condition overall with some light blemishing present. Please Note – the scabbard may look black in the photos, but it is actually a very dark purple in color.

The Dokuji Nami katana continues the Thaitsuki tradition featuring a hand forged and folded high carbon steel blade with 1024 layers, Clay tempered and water quenched to an HRC of 60-35. The blade has been hand polished and sharpened. The tsuba is made of brass with a blackened finish as are the fuchi 7 kashira. The habaki & seppa are made of pure silver. The saya is finished in a dark purple with silver endcap, dark blue silk sageo and buffalo horn koiguchi.
