Dhoom franchise director Sanjay Gandhvi passed away on Sunday

On Sunday, Dhoom franchise director Sanjay Gadhvi died after suffering from a heart attack. He was on his morning walk when the mishappening took place. He spent some time in discomfort at his residence building Green Acres in Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri. He later was taken to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital where he was announced dead by the doctors.

He was 56 years of age and was to turn 57 on his coming birthday three days later, on November 22.

Ghandvi left behind their wife Gina and two daughters. Sanjina, Gandhvi’s elder daughter spoke to the press and said, "He passed away at 9.30 am this morning at his residence. We are not sure what it is, but it is most likely a heart attack. He wasn't unwell. He was perfectly healthy." Gandhvi’s last rites will take place at Oshiwara crematorium at 10.30 am on Monday.

In 2000, Gandhvi entered Bollywood with his first film ‘Tere Liye’ which got a simmered response from the audience. Later in 2004, he got his first brightening in the industry when he came up with his action thriller Dhoom starring Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham. The success of the movie was soon followed by the success of Dhoom 2 starring Hrithik Roshan.

The director also made several other films including 'Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai' and 'Kidnap', Ajab Gazabb Love in 2012, and 'Operation Parindey' in 2020.

All of his crew members came up with a shocked response to his death. In deep shock, Hrithik Roshan posted on social media, "Deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Sanjay Gadhvi. Forever grateful for the moments we shared. He was instrumental in bringing out the Aryan in me. Couldn't have done it without him. Rest in peace my friend. .. John Abraham also expressed his grief, "(I) remember the times I spent with you on the film closest to my heart, Dhoom. May the angels always ride with you. Rest in peace." Abhishek Bachchan also posted a two-paragraph long message on Gandhvi’s demise.

Dobila prvu nagradu na Ratkovićevim večerima poezije u Bijelom Polju za drugu zbirku „Ademove suze“, koja je objavljena 2018. godine u Bijelom Polju. Godine 2018. objavljena joj je i treća knjiga, prerađena verzija njenog magistarskog rada, pod naslovom „Postmodernizam i nova osjećajnost u poeziji Zilhada Ključanina“. Objavljivala tekstove i poeziju u bosanskohercegovačkim časopisima, kao i časopisima regiona.

How is the routine of Sanjina and Ichiji as rulers of the Germa Empire? Does Sage have a routine too?

They wake up in the early morning at 6 and are immediately ready for breakfast. After that, they would be in the first hours of morning duties. For Ichiji, he has given papers on all political affairs and patrols the military training. 

Sanjina patrols around the castle to check on the household, even managing all servants yet she is not allowed to cook. All she could do is observing the chefs and kitchen.

As for Sage, he wakes up, eats breakfast, and goes to morning training. After training, he goes to the library to study as he is not allowed to play with the children of the Germa soldiers,  though he is permitted to see his mother and two of his uncle, Niji and Yonji but not Reiji.

At noon, the family gathers for lunch. After that, Sage resumed training and studying as Sanjina would secretly send food and books to Reiji who was still under house arrest. Ichiji would be in his study chamber or in the laboratory with his brothers.

When Sage’s training and study are finished, he spends time with his mother, having tea time in the garden. Sometimes, Sage would be led by his father to learn the principles of rulers.

As for the end of the day, they gather for dinner, where they are most interactive. Though it’s mostly Ichiji, Niji, Yonji, and Sage. As for Sage, Ichiji asks him what he has learned throughout the day, As for Sanjina, she does make arguments about Ichiji’s regulations and asks him to let Sage bond with the children of Germa soldiers as she said the crown prince must learn social skills outside the family/ While Ichiji believes that the children are not worthy to befriend Sage but she countered that the crown prince must understand the lives of others to be a future ruler. After a tense dinner, everyone prepares for bed.
