{Vax (Sylveon) is laying his head on Remy's lap, watching whatever is on the laptop screen. Vex (Crobat) has her wings wrapped around herself, making herself into an easily huggable Three Dimensional oval, and Remy has taken advantage of this in hugging her on their lap, resting their chin on her head. Venom (Hisuian Zoroark) has taken on the form of a Zorua, instead of his normal form, so that he (and Remy) can be more comfortable in his spot on Remy's head. Aries (Hisuian Arcanine) and Riptide (Hisuian Samurott) are laying on either side of Remy, also enraptured by whatever is playing on the screen. Honey's (Hisuian Goodra) shell is placed between Aries and Remy, held steady by Aries' size and Remy's torso. Honey is hidden inside of her shell, but her head is peeking out and resting on Remy's thigh, also watching the screen.}

Remy has decided to spend their day watching deception games (such as Town of Salem 2) and it seems as though everyone else has decided to join in. I predict that they will be bored of it by noon and will move on to playing Wizard 101, Omastardew Valley, or Minecraft. - Spark the Rotom

Here’s the screenshots for the AU I have so far

I picked partners based on the general aesthetics of the character and bold letters mean that’s their partner Pokemon. Unbolded Pokémon mean that it’s on their team

I’ve also written out the trailer choreography for this AU (how the red, white, black and yellow trailers would take place) and I’m almost done with v1 chapter 1!

The reason why some characters have mythical/legendary Pokémon is because while Remnant is Humanity 2.0, the canonical Pokémon world with Ash, team rocket, etc are Humanity 1.0, if that makes sense

Ozma as Ozpin has a Decidueye because that’s what works best for this Ozcarnation, meanwhile Oscar has no Pokémon for himself and is found by Azelf

Same thing with Penny. She uses a “Paradox” robot Gallade for her Vytal Festival fights to hide that she herself is an AI like the professors from Scar/Vi, but during the finale of volume seven, she’ll become partners with the previous Winter Maiden’s Articuno

But then if Cinder is still the Fall Maiden, why doesn’t she get the “Fall Pokémon?” Because she kills Amber and Ho-Oh. She kills them and her Salazzle absorbs the magic, which proves nearly fatal until Salem gives them Dark Dimension powers, Salem herself being more Pokémon than human at this point

The Brothers have been replaced with Arceus and Giratina for this AU and each of the partner Pokémon of the main characters is nicknamed after their canon weapon names (examples being Ruby’s Starly named Crescent, Yang’s Combusken named Cecilia, Blake’s Zorua named Gambol, Pyrrha’s Charcadet named Milo, etc)

And Grimm have just been replaced by wild Pokémon lol

The canon plot stays the same, RWBY trying to stop the White Fang (which are more like Team Rocket), Pyrrha teaching Jaune how to train Pokémon, Cinder and Co. trying to raise an army and destroy Beacon, and some of the Pokémon will evolve during the series (see Ruby’s and Blake’s for examples)

Though I am iffy about Qrow’s team. I gave him those for the LoLs, but I might go back and change them if I feel like it

Other than that, the AU is really just “what if Grimm were Pokémon and also semblances were also Pokémon”

Alright y'all, so I have this OC named Brim.

She's an immortal demigod who starts an organization called The Paradox Society that is basically like Men in Black but instead of aliens it's supernatural/fantasy type beings.

Well I'm finally making a Pokémon AU for her so I've got fresh rambles.

So Brim is born in whatever the Pokemon equivalent of Pompeii is, but she’s not a demigod she’s just human, and instead of being kidnapped & sacrificed by a cult, she gets sucked into an Ultra Wormhole that leaves her in Galar a few hundred years later. Unlike most other fallers she doesn’t lose her memory, but the energy from the wormhole makes her immortal and also makes some of her hair white (don’t ask me why, in her original story her godly parent is the god of Time and when Brim is sacrificed by a cult the god steps in & blesses Brim with immortality, said god appears as having white hair & bestows this blessing by kissing Brim’s forehead thus turning her bangs white, idk how to translate this to Pokemon other than “the wormhole does weird shit”). She seeks out other fallers, as well as any information about the wormholes she can find.

Eventually she meets Matéo, the only other immortal faller she’s come across (originally Matéo is a fae child who was swapped with a human child) although he does have the usual amnesia. Together (along with other help) they start The Paradox Society, a group investigating these odd “rifts” and the people that come from them.

Of course, Brim and Matéo end up coming to Hisui to investigate the rift over Mt. Coronet, as well as talk to Ingo (and Rena once Arceus dumps her in Hisui as the PL:A player character). They find Volo to be unsettling and suspicious and keep an eye on him as well.

In more current times, once Interpol starts investigating the Ultra Wormholes, TPS kinda butts heads with them a bit. You know how on cop shows there’s issues when one agency is investigating something but it turns out another agency already has someone undercover & it causes issues? It’s like that. InterPol agents unknowingly investigating TPS agents and vice versa (except TPS is technically a private organization instead of government so that just adds to the tension between them).

Brim’s current team consists of:

Lucien (shiny Ninetales; Brim had a Vulpix named Ardere before going through the wormhole & it, as an evolved Ninetales, found her not long after she landed in Galar. Lucien hatched from an egg that Ardere laid one day. The ace of the team.)

Cassandra (Gardevoir; one of a few she’s had over the years)

Salem (Delphox; caught as a Braixen during a mission in Kalos)

Niveus (Galarian Darmanitan; the first pokemon Brim adopted after landing in Galar was a Galarian Darumaka. She’s had a few, including non-Galarian ones, over the years.)

Ruflus (Rotom; this Rotom has randomly shown up at various times through Brim's life, the first time having been just before she was sucked into an Ultra Wormhole. After a couple thousand years, she finally managed to catch it. She only uses it for casual trainer battles.)

Demutavi (Porygon-Z; Brim adopted a Porygon she found in a Space-Time rift in Hisui. It's become erratic ever since she exposed it to a Dubious Disc, so she rarely uses it in battles.)

Lemura (Hisuian Zoroark; Brim adopted a Zorua during her time in Hisui. She never uses it in battle anymore unless she has no other choice, but if she leaves it at home it gets upset with her.)

Brim’s Hisuian team consisted of:

Lucien (shiny Vulpix; the same one that evolves into her current Ninetales)

Cassandra (Gardevoir; not the same one on her current team, also not Hisuian)

Niveus (Galarian Darumaka; not the same one on her current team)

Demutavi (Porygon; the same one that evolves into her current Porygon-Z)

Lemura (Hisuian Zorua; the same one that evolves into her current Zoroark. Quickly becomes her ace.)

Acer (Sneasler; adopted in Hisui for extra protection against aggressive pokemon)

Brim tends to give pokemon of the same species the same name (i.e every Ralts/Kurlia/Gardevoir is Cassandra or Tiresias, every Galarian Darumaka/Darmanitan is Niveus, etc.). The only exception is Vulpix/Ninetales. The first one she had was named Ardere, then the egg from Ardere hatched into Pueri, then Pueri left an egg that hatched into Lucien.

Matéo doesn't battle as much as Brim. He currently just has Perrosa (Granbull, one of a few he's had over the years), Brujita (Mimikyu, one of a couple he's had over the years), and Carmelita (Sprigatito, one of several he's had over the years). He doesn't purposely choose female pokemon but somehow every pokemon he's adopted/caught has been female.

Back in Hisui, Matéo has an Alakazam, Sprigatito, Hisuian Goodra, and a Cleffa that hatched from an egg he found.

Matéo gives every Pokémon it's own nickname & tries not to repeat any.

Most TPS Agents that I put in this AU will probably be fallers, since most of them in the original story are parahumans & other humanoid but not human beings. Aesa originally is a parahuman, & she joins TPS to find out what happened to her family (her parents & siblings were agents that disappeared one day) but in this AU I think it would make more sense that she isn't a faller, but saw her family get sucked into an ultra wormhole. In TPS she has fire abilities that heal & her codename is "Faerie Fire", so in this AU she's going to have fairy and fire type pokemon lol

RWBY Pokemon Headcanons - Team RWBY

ALRIGHT ITS WHAT YOU’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR, sebby’s rwby hc pokemon teams :3

i realized that this was actually ready and i’ve slapped it in the queue.

ive noted teams for jnpr and a couple members of salem’s side, i’ll get around to writing those next! <3

Ruby Rose

Blaziken

Dragopult

Blaziken was acquired as a starter at Signal. She chose Torchick for it’s spunky attitude and fiery spirit, and they dedicated themselves to protecting people and Pokemon.

She spent days and nights training on live Grimm, where she found her Rockruff making a target of itself with it’s brave barking. It evolved into a Lycanroc training beside her.

Florges was caught as a Flabébé. She went to visit her mother’s grave and went to take flowers from the garden to bring to her. Where she found Flabébé and decided to keep it and raise it to its evolution.

Talonflame was caught on initiation at Beacon. She risked her neck fighting the Nevermore Grimm alongside them and her and Weiss picked up two Fletchinder to mark their achievement.

Garchomp is symbolic of the first use of her Silver Eyes. When she froze the Wyvern, and Grimm gravitated to the area, Pokemon were chased from the school grounds. A Gabite fled the mountains where she caught it and raised it on her journey to Haven.

Dragopult represents the Leviathan battle. A haunting moment for Ruby where everyone’s lives were in her hands. She acquired her Dragapult before leaving Argus.(

Though Weiss never attended a specific pre-Huntsmen school, a Popplio was given as a gift from her Mother, all of the Schneeblings have one from her Primarina.

Golurk represents Weiss’s first real battle for her identity. On Jacques’ challenge to defeat the Arma Gigas, she acquired the Golett to attend her to Beacon. A parting “gift” from Jacques.

Talonflame was caught on initiation at Beacon. She aided RBY And JNPR fighting the Nevermore Grimm alongside them and her and Ruby picked up two Fletchinder to mark their achievement.

The Mamoswine was caught to represent her demonstration of a fight with a Boarbatusk in her Beacon class, a powerful ally and summon acquired from proving her strength to her peers.

Vikavolt represents the Queen Lancer summon that Weiss acquired while running away from Atlas. She caught it after the scuffle itself.

Corviknight idk <3 undetermined origins where I might say she had it since it was a rookidee, which would make sense and even her out with other characters. it also could represent the nevermore summon but talonflame made more sense thematically for her team

Blake Belladonna never attended a proper pre-Huntsmen school, nor did she have the prestige to acquire a “proper” started, however, her parents gave her a Shinx as it was the offpsring of their own partner Pokemon.

When Blake was young, she came across an Absol. It wouldn’t leave her alone, so she caught it, of course, and it’s been a very protective and cautious Pokemon throughout her life.

Zoroark was caught in her early days of the White Fang. It was rescued from humans as a Zorua and it aided her and the White Fang with its illusions, under the same belief they were doing the right thing.

Before coming to Beacon, Adam gave her his Kirlia. She kept it and it had completely changed its allegiances by Battle of Beacon, attempting to protect her and Yang but ultimately failing. It evolved into a Gallade where it and Yang’s Gardevoir aided in the rest of the battles with Adam.

Grimmsnarl was similarly a gift. After leaving RWBY in a flurry of emotions with Sun Wukong, they went back to Menagerie and caught two Morgrems causing ruckuses.

Before parting ways with Ilia, Blake caught a Salandit with her in mind and evolved it into a Salazzle on her way to Argus with her team.

Yang Xiao Long

Incineroar

Pangoro

Arcanine

Kommo-o

Gardevoir

Tyrantrum

Yang went to Signal, where she chose Litten as a starter. Unlike Ruby, Yang wasn’t looking for a chivalrous type, more of a spirit willing to win. Incineroar and Yang are inseparable and have been a team since day one.

Pangoro represents her frequent fights with “the bears.” Originally, she was given a Panchamp after nearly getting herself and Ruby killed by Ursai. Qrow caught and gave her a Panchamp in hopes it would teach her patience and protection.

Similarly, she was given a Growlithe by her father for protection against the wild Pokemon in Patch. She just hadn’t anticipated the way it got her out of a handful of skirmishes with Grimm as well.

To be honest, Kommo-o, Gardevoir, and Tyrantrum don’t have specific events, they just have vibes. Kommo-o may be related to Raven or Tai, Gardevoir is associated with Blake but I dont know when she got it, and I think she picked up a Jaw fossil and revived it ??/ somewhere?? :3 suggestions welcome!

Thanks in no small part to @icibue I just spent the last day crafting RWBY/Pokemon AU headcanons. Please keep in mind that this is 50% funny, 50% serious and 100% self-indulgent!

· Ozpin gives each new student an Eevee egg to hatch and train as part of their course work.

· All the schools give different particular pokemon, Ozpin is just very fond of Eevee because of how much it can ‘change’.

· Mythical and God-like pokes cannot be captured and instead ‘choose’ trainers. Being chosen by such a Pokemon is considered a very high honor but also puts that trainer at risk of being targeted by Salem.

· Xerneas and Yveltal take the place of the God of Light and God of Darkness.

· Celebi chose to be Oz’s partner centuries ago and is always the first to find him again after reincarnation.

· The Xiao-Long family have raised the Kommo-o line of Pokemon for generations and it is customary for a Jangmo-o to be their child’s first Pokemon.

· The Roses were known for raising Roselia and Roserade for show.

· The Honchkrows Ozpin and Qrow have are from the same clutch of eggs.

· Ozpin owns and cares for many pokemon but keeps two teams at the ready. One is a public team that is well known. The other is a private team that contains pokemon he has had through many lifetimes.

· Because of the presence of Pokemon on Remnant, the world is a little safer for everyday citizens, though Grimm ARE attracted to pokemon just like humans.

· The Huntsman Academies teach how to hunt Grimm and how to raise Pokemon.

· Beacon Academy focuses on living in harmony with Pokemon and working together with them. Using pokeballs is optional for Huntsmen who have demonstrated close bonds with their Pokemon.

· Atlas Academy focuses on Pokemon’s use in military tactics and has an extensive breeding program focused on breeding the strongest Pokemon. Pokemon are not allowed to be out of their pokeballs without military sanction.

· Haven and Mistral are well known for their Pokemon Contests and shows. Battling is taught at Haven but definitely takes a backseat to the ‘art’ of raising Pokemon.

· Since law and order is rare in Vacuo, almost anything goes. Having a strong team that can protect you and yours is what gets taught at Shade Academy. Since pokeballs are easily stolen they are very rarely used.

Now for Team Headcanons along with my personal reasoning for why I chose the teams I did. I was getting very tired towards the end of the team building, so I apologize if some teams aren’t as ‘fleshed-out’ as others.

STRQ

Summer Rose

1. Shiny Roserade – Obvious choice honestly

2. Alolan (Menagerie) Cubone – Summer having a poke that lost it’s poke-mom and human mom was too entertaining to not do.

3. Sylveon – Summer being the ‘heart’ of team STRQ

4. Blissey – Since Yang described Summer as ‘super mom’ having a pokemon described at ‘nurturing’ seemed fitting.

5. Gardevoir – The entire Gardevoir line is very sensitive to emotions and I headcanon Summer as being fairly bubbly.

6. Altaria – I didn’t have any super specific reasons for this one. Just seemed like a poke Summer would have ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Taiyang Xiao-Long

1. Jolteon – Jolteon fits Tai’s color scheme. Sue me.

2. Pangoro – A fighting type that doesn’t like it when the weak get picked on

3. Kommo-o – The only fighting dragon pokemon and it just so happens to fit Tai’s color scheme

4. Herdier – I mean, it’s obvious isn’t it?

5. Bewear – Another fighting bear but this one loves hugs

6. Drampa – A dragon that protects kids

Raven Branwen

1. Mandibuzz – Specifically said to hunt ‘weak’ prey

2. Salazzle – Rules over similar pokes and fits Ravens color scheme

3. Weavile – Hunting in small groups to take down larger prey sounds a lot like the Branwen tribe

4. Umbreon – The only Eeveeloution that fit ravens color scheme ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

5. Hydreigon – Brutal and destructive

6. Bisharp – Rules over packs of similar pokes and is called ‘pitiless’

Qrow Branwen

1. Honchkrow – Do you have to ask?

2. Absol – A pokemon said to bring misfortune/bad luck.

3. Umbreon – Fits Qrows aesthetic and the twins having the same Eeveeloution is funny to me.

4. Alolan Marowak – This is actually Summers Cubone evolved and I felt like Summer wouldn’t have brought a young untrained poke on a possibly deadly mission. Also seems fitting that Qrow would take to raising it since Tai would have his hands full raising his own team and the kids.

5. Staraptor – A loner birb that leaves its flock after growing up fits Qrow pretty fucking well.

6. Scrafty – A poke that comes off as rude and actually cares about its loved ones.

RWBY

Ruby Rose

1. Scyther – It has scythes for hands, what’s not to love?

2. Roselia – Wanting to keep Ruby’s family legacy going, Tai gives Ruby a Budew as her first Pokemon

3. Shiny Eevee – I mean silver Eevee… silver eyes… Also, it hasn’t evolved yet cause Ruby and Eevee are unsure of what they want it to be.

4. Rockruff – A pup that turns into a wolf, nuf said (it will probably turn into the midnight form…).

5. Electrike – A speedy boi that gives of showers of sparks as opposed to Ruby’s showers of petals

6. Zigzagoon – Another speedy boi

Weiss Schnee

1. Glaceon – Obvious is obvious

2. Alolan (Atlesian) Vulpix – Pretty snow fox for the pretty ice queen.

3. Dratini – Of course the rich kid would have something really rare

4. Furfrou – Fancy dog for the fancy girl

5. Brionne – A pretty poke that sings? 100% Weiss’s aesthetic.

6. Braixen – You can only have so much blue and white before you need a splash of color and a poke that uses a wand like how Weiss uses her weapon seemed fitting

Blake Belladonna

1. Litten – A cat that like to be solitary and doesn’t often display emotion… sounds like Blake to me!

2. Umbreon – Somehow Umbreon just fits for way too many people but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

3. Purrloin – Cute purple cat

4. Litwick – Blakes shadow clones kinda remind me of a ghosts sooo purple ghost poke?

5. Frogadier – Blake is a ninja. She absolutely needs a ninja Poke

6. Noibat – It’s purple and has great hearing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yang Xiao-Long

1. Jangmo-o – It’s a punchy dragon and fits her color scheme ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2. Makuhita – Yellow, punchy, never gives up

3. Flareon – Yang’s hair literally lights on fire. I would be dumb to NOT give her Flareon

4. Combusken – I mean it’s fire, it’s fighting, and warn when hugged!

5. Rufflet – Ok SO Rufflet and it’s eventual evolution into Braviary fits Yang really well. Rufflet starts out feeling like it needs to prove itself and fighting everything it can (including it’s own parents). After evolving it still fights like a champ, but for more ‘noble’ reasons, aka to protect friends and loved ones.

6. Corphish – JuST hear me out on this one. Corphish are said to be REALLY hardy and able to survive in the worst conditions. They also like to fight a lot.

JNPR

Jaune Arc

1. Growlithe – Friendly and loyal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2. Eevee – His Eevee eventually becomes Sylveon because Jaune is a cinnamon roll

3. Buneary – Won the egg from cereal box tops

4. Riolu – Riolu and Lucario are described as loyal and having a very strong sense of justice

5. Honedge – This one has been in has family for a long time

6. Skarmory – Jaune only had a team of 5, but when Pyrrha died her Skarmory was the only survivor and Jaune took it upon himself to raise it.

Nora Valkyrie

1. Jolteon – What did you expect?

2. Rhyhorn – It has the lightning horn ability for obvious reasons

3. Flaaffy – Happy, fluffy, pink, and electric

4. Teddiursa – Cute, loves sweet things, and it’s evolution is a rage bear. Nuf said.

5. Munchlax – They both have bottomless stomachs

6. Woobat – If Nora’s heart cannons are anything to go by, she would love this Pokemon

Pyrrha Nikos

1. Magnemite – Polarity… Magnetism… Magnemite… I’m not very original

2. Eevee – Pyrrha’s Eevee would have become a Jolteon if she were still alive.

3. Skarmory – Steel types really are obvious choices.

4. Nosepass – It’s nose is literally magnetic

5. Victini – With all of the talk of Pyrrha being ‘fated’ for victory, it would be silly to not give her the pokemon that makes that true.

6. Buneary – Pyrrha ended up being given one of the Pumpkin Pete mascots

Lie Ren

1. Espeon – When I think of Ren I think of psychic pokes so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2. Natu – Calm and cautious like Ren

3. Nincada – Only other ninja poke that isn’t Froakie

4. Espurr – Another calm psychic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

5. Joltik – A cute little critter to remind him of Nora

6. Zorua – Can hide it’s self which is closeish to Ren’s semblance

Misc.

Ozpin – Public Team

1. Espeon – Espeon’s tail fork is said to be able to sense danger so it makes sense Oz would keep one around.

2. Klinklang – I mean, the gear aesthetic it obvious isn’t it?

3. Mimikyu – I headcanon that Oz can very easily see the worth in literally anyone so giving him a poke that thinks it can’t be loved was a no-brainer

4. Shedinja – Pokemon with no soul VS man with too much soul

5. Honchkrow – Oz having a ‘dark’ pokemon and people think he’s shady? No way! (also, I’m a shipper shhhh)

6. Ninetales – Of course Oz would have a stupidly long lived Pokemon

Ozpin – Personal Team

1. Celebi – Of course the one person who can be found in almost any time period ever would be chosen by the literal time travel Pokemon… Also, Green.

2. Dragonite – Dragonite’s are kind, altruistic, and long lived.

Happy Mother's Day Meema!

I just wanted to write something short and sweet for mother's day featuring two of my pokemon: Vixen and her kit Salem. no trigger warnings or anything as I wrote this to be cute and sweet and short.

The small kit drowsily opened his eyes to meet the ceiling as he yawned tiredly before he perked up remembering something… It was Mother's day! The small kit sprung out of bed, the puff of fur on his head bouncing with him as he went to go and try make breakfast for his mother who deserved a break.

He looked around the kitchen before he looked at a glass "I'm sure Meema is thirsty.." he thought as he carefully filled it with water and placed it on the table nearby but what's next? Right, it's missing food! The pup sighed as he looked about anxious he was going to wake his mother up and disturb her sleep from him being too loud

"Pancakes!" he exclaimed as he began drooling at the thought before slapping himself on the cheek slightly snapping him out of his hunger "No these are for Meema. Not for myself" he carefully prepared breakfast to the best of his ability and with a bit of help from the last he made pancakes with his mum he successfully made them; with a little struggle, but it was worth it as they gave off a sweetly strong saccharine waft in the air and he decorated them with some berries as he smiled at them gleeful of himself

"I'm sure Meema will be proud!" he exclaimed aloud as he smiled ear to ear with pride. "Salem?" he snapped out of his thoughts as he turned around to see his mother groggily looking at him "Salem what are you doing?" she repeated as she landed against the doorway eyeing at her small child who giggled before moving out the way and her eyes widened as she let out a soft "aw" in realizing what he was doing

"You made this for me?" he nodded proud of himself as she sat down "What about you?" he just went quiet as he shrugged "I'm not hungry" he clearly lied as his mother shook her head "You can have some of these pancakes okay?" he shook his head in protest as he frowned sadly "I made them for you, not for me"

She sighed as she got up "I can easily make some for you at least" "Can eat before you do that though I don’t want your food getting cold" the small trickster fox said sadly as he was embraced by his mother who kissed him on the forehead "Of course"

I've been getting sick/feeling under the weather, moving house, and other stuff alongside it so yeah... I am trying to finish and get it posted in the next month or two due to how slow my progress is as of late

RWBY and Pokemon

I’ll be adding to this over time.

If I refer to a Pokemon as “it” I didn’t choose a gender for them.

Ruby: Little Red Riding Hood and the big bad Dusk Lycanroc. While she doesn’t encounter them often, she feels a connection to Lunatone.

Yang: Arcanine and Kommo-o. Big popular fire dog and a powerful Fighting/Dragon-type with scales that clang in a cacophony.

Salem: Grimmsnarl. I mean, that is the ultimate fairytale Pokemon. Her party of doom also includes Malamar, Houndoom, Hydreigon, Hisuian Zoroark, and Ninetales.

Watts: Alakazam, Manectric, Klinklang, Espeon, and Orbeetle. All fine Pokemon for a distinguished, sophisticated, technological gentleman...even if he’s not a good person...

Tyrian: Drapion. I mean, look at this Poison/Dark guy. Also Seviper and Ariados. Seviper is straight-up a venomous snake, and Ariados is a Bug/Poison spider that jumps its prey, then lets it go...with a thin thread that leads Ariados to its friends.

Roman: Weavile, Krookodile, Honchkrow, and Blaziken (Torchic) for this city mob boss.

Neo: Weavile, Zoruark, and Toxapex for the silent, tricky, deadly sidekick.

Vernal: Fearow, Poochyena, Liepard, Whirlipede, Scrafty, Midnight Lycanroc. All tough Pokemon for this sadistic bandit. I also imagine this team fits someone who went through a skateboarder phase. She feels close to them, and doesn’t push them if they’re not ready to evolve (she makes up some lie to get Raven off their backs.)

Emerald: Emerald found a Zorua a long, long time ago who became her only comfort on the streets. She’s not confident enough to evolve her yet, but someday. Emerald also befriended a Wimpod, which Cinder chased away soon after meeting her.

Pyrrha: Pyrrha left behind a Rapidash, Falinks, and female Pyroar when she went to Beacon, and they miss her very much.

Penny: Mareep, Togepi, Totodile, Clefairy, Blitzle, Weedle...all adorable Pokemon that will grow up to be big and self-reliant and strong.

Pietro: Magnezone and Klinklang. I can also see him with a Delibird. Penny would love it, and they do live in Solitas. Also, Delibird really is not the best fighter, but there might be something handy in that sack.

Clover: Bolthund and Braviary. AMERICAAAA!!!!!!!! (yeah, Bolthund is based off a mix of English breeds but you get the idea...sleek, friendly military poster boy dog).

Harriet: I see her with an Electrode and my only excuse is that it’s one of the speediest Pokemon and is prone to emotional explosions. Gotta go fast. Sigh.

Winter: Empoleon, Beartic, and Dragonair are all military-trained and ready to defend the kingdom from threats...IRONWOOD.

Jacques: Jacques had a Purugly, Granbull, and Chatot that were so insufferably spoiled that no one liked them, not even Whitley’s Glameow. They’re kept in their Pokeballs out in Vacuo, for everyone’s sake.

Whitley: We’ll say Glameow for now.

Willow: Persian, Alolan Ninetales, Sawsbuck, and a male Indeedee.

Robyn: Thievul or Ninetales. I can also see her with a Taillow. Smart, agile, and small enough to fit into tight spaces, this partner in legal crime would make a good scout as well as an approachable--but sharp--partner. She hasn’t evolved it into Swellow yet because that’s a bit too big and intimidating for the career.

May: Sylveon, Milotic, Gyarados. Trans feels.

Fiona: Wigglytuff LOOKS like a cutesy, girly Pokemon but would totally beat the crap out of you if you pushed it too far, with a surprising range of ability. Fiona would also have an Ampharos, which is known for being happy, bright, and adorable, and a Herdier. Herdier is well suited to the rugged working-class dependability of Mantle and evolves into something much bigger and stronger with renown in saving people from blizzards. Something something Huntress.

Joanna: Sigilyph. A strange, seemingly silent Pokemon that retains memories of guarding an ancient city. They never vary the route they fly. Also an Ursaring, for the Robin Hood reference.

Velvet: Velvet owns a Lopunny. Listen, she befriended a Buneary and it was all over from there. People don’t appreciate the work it took to evolve her. But they share a very close bond, so Velvet takes small comfort in the fact that if it came down to it, Lopunny could Mega Evolve and knock the crap out of someone.

Fox: Krokorok, Mandibuzz, Zangoose, and Girafarig? I didn’t read Before the Dawn asfhsgfrh. Krokorok is a desert dweller that lives in small groups and can always see its surroundings thanks to special membranes in its eyes--bonded like Fox while helping his sight. Mandibuzz is based off a vulture, so another desert type. Zangoose is agile and prepared to fight, with its claws being its greatest weapon. Girafarig...I needed a Psychic-type for his Semblance, and Girafarig’s tail is kind of like ADA.

Yatsuhashi: Rillaboom, Chesnaught, and Golurk. Large, powerful, protective, loyal to allies, and the first two are connected with nature. Rillaboom is harmonious, but can easily devastate an area with its drums.

Maria: Maria would have a Mudbray. Come on, it’s true.

Ilia: Cubone. Fucking duh. When she moves on from her parents’ deaths it will become Alolan Marowak. Ilia picked up more friends over the years, including a Mimikyu and Sobble that she tried not to have around the rest of the White Fang too much. Her “friends” pressured her to evolve her Eevee, and saying no was one of the few decisions she felt good about in her entire life. They’re not sure yet what he’ll be. But by far her cult’s favorite team member was the Hisuian Zoroark, who was as horribly tormented and toxic as Ilia was, always on the brink of lashing out. When she finally left the White Fang, the Absol that shadowed her came in from the distance and followed her to her new home.

Pokémon team: For battling, Mienshao, Roserade, Garchomp, Midday Lycanroc, Greninja, and Aggron. Just travelling would be Zorua, Espurr, Vaporeon, and Glaceon.

Favorite color: I don’t dislike any colors but lately I’ve been preferring cooler colors like blue and purple.

Average hours of sleep: On a night where I can get to sleep soon after I turn off my stuff.. around 6 hours
