Six Sentence Sunday 07/01/24

Welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday. It's been a bit of a slower writing week for me this week, what with going back to work after the Christmas holidays. Even still, I'm plugging away at the wedding fic!

“I’m someone’s gay awakening,” he crows, pleased, and Henry rolls his eyes fondly, patting Alex’s chest. “What’s your name?” Henry asks the guy, who blushes to the roots of his dark hair. “Teddy,” he admits in a squeak and Henry holds out his hand. Teddy awkwardly bobs a half-curtsey and then comes to his sense and shakes Henry’s hand instead. “Thank you, Teddy, for the congratulations,” Henry says sincerely and Teddy grins broadly again. Alex gives the kid a grin and a salute, Teddy flushes so pink he’s nearly red (though that could be a trick of the light), and then he gives a little wave and disappears into the crowd.

Six Sentence Sunday 03/03/2024

We're doing it lads!

Off to a slow start with this next instalment of Heavy Weighs the Crown, but I think I've cracked it now. I'm hopefully going to post it this month, so stay tuned!

“Penny for your thoughts?” Alex murmurs, sipping at his own wine. The baby monitor is on the table between them, and a grainy black and white image of Arthur in his toddler bed flickers there. There’d been a lot of build up to moving to the ‘big boy bed’, and he was still a bit funny about going to sleep, but he’d settled alright tonight. “What if I said I wanted another one?” Henry says and Alex blinks, frowning at the wine bottle. It’s a very nice vintage from France. “I think we have some Italian Greco chilling in the wine cooler?” he replies, and Henry glances at him and smiles fondly.

In the meantime, I'm plotting more of my next chaptered fic, and the final instalment of Heavy Weighs the Crown which will wrap up this AU nicely (I hope).
