okay idk if they're my absolute favs, but from season 1, i'll go for midsummers - beyond the fact that we got the most wholesome spinny hug, midsummers is the first time we see Kiara claim JJ loudly and in front of the entire kook community, and nothing makes me as feral. Like she sees the security guard mistreating him and she does not give any fucks about what speaking out means, she stands and yells in front of her parents and everyone they know that JJ Maybank is her friend, that he belongs there because she invited him. That he belongs with her, essentially. And that just makes. me. insane. Also JJ's face when he realizes she's defending him is priceless like rudy pankow the man that you are.

s2, i'm gonna say the "you're it" moment. And just typing this i'm realizing there's a running thread here, which is them claiming eachother out loud and in front of other people. Like JJ is talking to the pogues in that moment, but he still singles her out with that look, and that particular confession. You're it. You're fucking it? Like the pogues are right there but he takes the time to make sure she understands what this means for her and them? It's such a special moment to me.
