looks like

a rubber mask

you pulled

from the shelves

of an ill begotten store

set in a way

i don’t think i’ve seen

sculpted in a way

i don’t think i like

it is a smooth

but creased

creation

the wrinkles

purposefully placed

the eyes wide enough

for a pair underneath

to see through

can you see through

your own eyes

can you take it off

are you willing

is this a sort of phase

or a new reality

you clearly

put it on yourself

do you not have the agency

to take it off as well

i think you should

i think it would benefit you

you are hiding a lot

by wearing that

and people might start getting

suspicious

uneasy

what is below

the artificial surface

can’t your depth

be known

why are you scared

to be

i would do it myself

the removal

but i keep

having a nightmare

where as i rip it off

your skin peels

from your skull

and all that is

left

is bloody muscle

and unlidded eyes

staring starkly

at me

unbearable pain

you would describe to me

articulating with bare teeth

and i would feel

worse

i don’t want to remove your face

i want to remove your mask

but as i hold your rubbery skin

in shaking fists

you whisper

I'm not sure 💀 Definetly nobody from my own life, I haven't had that bad of an experience with anyone. I think the obvious answer is like... Someone in power who is misusing it, but it just doesn't seem helpful, because there's always someone else to replace them.. I wish i could kill a harmful system instead yk? But idk. Id have to look into it, there's some vile ppl out there that are still actively causing harm and getting away with it.

Idk maybe I'd just give that power 2 a friend of mine they're smarter than me.

48. when did you first try an alcohol beverage?

I was like 10 it was on accident 🫡 i thought my moms white wine cup had apple juice and spat it out on everyones food.

I don't drink rly, I've tried it a couple times tho not to the point of drunkenness.

This is kind of a random still but it is a good example of why I'm enjoying this journey to the west adaptation so much

#this fight scene involves a magical guitar solo #executed with state of the art im guessing late 80s/early 90s television technology #sun wukong feels sort of like if you mashed jim Carrey's the grinch with bugs bunny and also hes a monkey #there are rubberface monsters left and right and fight scenes constantly #it reminds me of that good power rangers cheese for a number of reasons now that i think of it #i am grateful for the english subtitles i would have no idea what was going on or what anything was #but even without that there would still be plenty to enjoy here #as long as you dont find the monkey's laugh annoying. it is rare for him to not be making that sound. and other monkey sounds.#i get the impression the actor definitely studied monkey behavior for the role and i respect the commitment #hes doing wire fighting and transformations and they set him on fire at one point. all in that monkey makeup and fur.

I understand you guys saying real rabbit noses are furry not hugely visible. But I'm going for a vintage Meyercord/rubberface plush meets cartoon/LPS style. Prominent plastic noses for all!
