Burt Young, who played Paulie in the Rocky franchise, was actually trained by Cus D'Amato (who trained Floyd Patterson and Mike Tyson) and went 17-0 as a professional.
According to Wikipedia: Young served a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959. While in the Marine Corps, he won 32 of 34 boxing bouts. He later turned pro and compiled a 17-0 record under three different aliases. His manager was Cus D'Amato.

CreedIII was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! A knockout directorial debut by @michaelb4jordan, a moving story of, brotherhood, legacy, vulnerability, trauma, and grief. All the shit we deal with but can't, won't, and don't want to talk about and how ignoring that has lasting effects.
I’ll be honest and say I don’t care for the Actor/Director combo. I feel like something always sucks because of it either the acting isn’t great or the storyline of the visuals in a plant aren’t great. It takes a really strong actor and talented Director to pull that off and I wasn’t sure if Michael B Jordan was going to be able to deliver But baby let me tell you I was absolutely wrong! I honestly think this is the BEST acting we've seen from Michael B Jordan! Whatever he did to prepare for this role and this movie, he should continue to do it and copy and paste for all of his films because this was just he knocked it out of the park. Creed III makes me want to see more from him as a director! I think we’re watching something really great in the making.

AEJASJKADJHDS SORRY THAT WAS ABOUT THE POST YOU REBLOGGED AND PUT STEVE ROGERS IN THE TAGS. fandoms misinterpreting characters thing ESKDJKJDS
Ah, i see!! yeah it's such a shame people don't get the complexities of Steve Rogers standing up for the people of the world, especially for the marginalised people, and not for the interests of the american government. i hate how much some people would rather suck Тony's war-profiteering dick. like seriously, the dude had sponsored project Insight, was the creator of Ultron (and so the one who should have born the responsibility for sokovia, and not the team and definitely not every enhanced person in the world) And he had the audacity to build EDITH which combines the worst of the two. I'm not even gonna get into dragging Peter to Germany without even telling his guardians, to fight superpowered opponents one of whom is a literal assassin (don't get me wrong Bucky is NOT who hydra broke him to be, but that's who he is in Тony's eyes because he never bothered to hear Steve out, literally shutting him down when Steve asked for them to talk it out instead of fighting in the airport).
Okay, back to who the post is about. I just. How do some people manage to miss the fact that him refusing to compromise on the accords is a Good thing? because damn it, you DON'T compromise on the human rights issues. He wavers when Тony dangles Bucky's safety in front of him like a carrot (seemingly recognising that Bucky's a victim, but only while it's convenient, same w him acknowledging but choosing to ignore the fact that Bucky can't be held responsible for hydra's actions, not even for those carried out by TWS) In the end Steve still does what's right, refusing to sign, cos he's reminded of the treatment Wanda got. For trying to save people. Because everyone ignores that were Wanda not there, All those people would have died instead of the few she didn't manage to save. It's not like she created the damn explosion!

so surprised that rocky is really the story of a himbo in love who also boxes (but that isn’t nearly as prevalent in the story as i thought it would be). can anybody tell me if the other movies in the franchise are as good or worthy of a watch?
