I couldn’t help myself after reading about Baby Rem from @brickowskibois Rex Squad Blog I had 2 draw a scene from it, Baby Rem is so Adorable🥰 just look at him.

Well isn't it obvious? We build an interdimensional device to bring her back, like we did for Ryder and RB!

Rex flares daggers at Rocket. Sure, they had made interdimensional devices before... with tech that wasn't theirs.

Rocket catches his eye and smiles at him, seemingly reading his mind. How hard could it be to figure it out for ourselves?

Lucy smiles, "Thanks, you guys. And, sorry for suddenly changing your plans for today..." She rubs the back of her head in her embarrassment.

Nah, I'd take having company over sticking to a plan any day! Rocket puts his hands on his hips. Thing is, building this might be a lot of hard work... What would you like to do while we're working on it? If you aren't confident around technology, maybe one or two of us could do something fun with you!

"Oh, well.. hmm..." she puts her hand under her chin and thinks... "I don't know really.. maybeee.... a tour to this place or somethin?"

Well then, the perfect person for that would be Rex! He built this ship after all!

Rex... blushes, at being volunteered. "Uhm... Sure? But maybe Rem would want to come with, since he's not great with tech either."

Rem giggles. Yeah, I'd like to help with the tour!

Lucy giggles as well, smiling at the two of them. That sounded nice!!

Usually Rex is the one getting thrown, I wonder if that's where Obi-Wan gets the idea??

But what if.. and hear me out here. Instead of getting mad or freaked out about often getting Force-tossed, Captain Rex actually embraces it?? Like, it becomes part of the plans? "Throw me up onto the tank here. Toss me off this cliff there. Swoosh me at them. Makes me deadly." And 'swoosh me' is something Rex often says?? 😂😂 Oh gosh, I'm giggling just thinking about it.

The blorbos from my discord servers, the OT4, the funny little guys my friend made that I've been going crazy over

The We are Rem AU by @brickowskibois!!!! :D

So I don't think they've posted to much about it on their blog so I'll add a summary here.

Emmet is in undar and meets Symbiote named Rex. They help each other to survive and start to fall in love.

A Systarian scout (one of Rex's previous hosts that he didn't treat as well as Emmet) finds them and almost destroys Rex, Emmet thinks he's dead.

The scout then drops Ems off at a hospital (thinking he'll need it), and then Emmet finds his way to Lucy's place. When he does it's certainly a surprise for Lucy that Ems is alive and had an alien boyfriend that's dead now? And he isn't the only one with a new lover..

Rocky Marlowe, or as he prefers to be called, Rocket is Lucy's boyfriend. He's a chill guy who likes music. (Note: that is hair dye, he often changes the color)

Rex is actually is alive! But he's weak and small now. The four and up being in a polyam relationship (with all parties being romantically together), but not before some dumb shenanigans happens

Rex eventually regains his strength! He and Emmet call this form "Rem" (which is were the AU name comes from). They can show off to their boyfriend and girlfriend now >:3

Bonus Rex and Rocket. Rex can switch which partner he's using as a host when ever he wants cuz he's cool like that.

So there we have it. My favorite Lego movie AU. I adore them <3

Lucy laughs a bit at what Rocket said.

But after a few moments of silence, the question that the asker posed sank in. "... Oh no..." She pats her hips in hopes of finding her phone with her-- Shoot, right, she doesn't have pockets. "Oh no nononono, shoot! I should have been back from my walk by now. Emmet must be so worried, I-- I need to get back-- How can I even get back...?!" She covers her face with her hands, stress suddenly threatening to overwhelm her.

Hey, it's all right! Rocket quickly said, lifting his hands as if to stave off her worry. Like I said, this is fine! You're not the first person that's fallen through a temporal anomaly and ended up here, we'll get you back before he realizes you're gone!

She looks up at Rocket, not quite convinced. "... Really? Y-you can do that??"

Sure, we've done it before! Rocket smiles reassuringly. Twice, actually! We'll have you home in two thrashes of a raptor's tail!

She smiles back at him and sighs in relief. She felt a bit calmer knowing this could be fixed.

However, behind her, Rem and Rex exchange a look...

The room starts to spin and he’s glad he’s lying down. He shuts his eyes and turns his external imaging devices and motion sensors inward, cocooning himself in the darkness and warm hum of his machines.

The only part of himself that he allows himself to interface with is the blades in his shoulder copters turning slowly in time with the slight draft in the room. He drapes his mind around them, giving the spinning, dizzy feeling a place to exist that isn’t his stomach. His louvres flutter like gills, directing his exhaust-filled breaths away from his fuel lines and processors.
