The ancient text obviously wouldn't say "ripped" because that wasn't in their vocabulary. But they refer to him as everything else that such a body would imply.

And Achilles was saying things in anger in Book 1. Everyone forgets how in Book 23, Achilles pretty much retracts everything he said and claims Agamemnon is the best natural warrior which he was.

Regarding the five star four star and 2 three stars for each unit thing they tend to do my biggest wish is for himeru/kohaku and tatsumi/mayoi centre. Idk how to explain it but hiiro and rinne were the focus of the main story and aira and niki felt like they got a bit of character from that too (more than their other 2 members at least) so this just kinda feels. Right? I've seen people theorise that they'll address kaname or that he'll wake up and I don't doubt that logic, I just hope if so kohaku and mayoi can be of some significance. I think kohaku and mayoi are decent to bring attention to because despite himeru trying to be distant at first I think he definitely is most fond of kohaku, and don't ask me about tatsumi and mayoi you're talking to a ttmy shipper I'll be here all day. Basically I just think if himeru and tatsumi were to go through the horrors their unit mates would be there for them but those two in particular somewhat understand them a bit better. Before anyone tells me these 4 were in the romantic date scout I know. I've simply decided to remove it from my memory because I could never hate a story more than that one.

I've just ranted about alkakurei to you now. It's good to be back I guess

Im hoping for niki to have a really big moment in the tour personally, as well as aira, in a different light than what we've seen so far. I just...wish i cared more for them than i really do. And I wish i could make myself care, but alas, i can live with it just fine actually. The card distribution, well, im trying to keep track of when they've had cards last already/who's still due. Tatsumi still needs a ts2 so im counting him out of the possible tour 5stars (could be a 4star), but everyone else i think is eligible from that perspective. Oh......ohhhh.....it just came to mind, but you know how they did the altered and graduation tours? Tatsumi's ts2 could totally be running during the alkakurei tour, and be related to the story in that manner. Im willing to bet on this actually, nevermind, he's definitely getting a tour 5star in the gacha. And kohaku getting his fs2 then as well would be so cruel...higgles. rip alkakureiPs. Himemayo tour 5stars sounds plausible. But so does amagi bros to parallel their main story 5stars, or any other combination... idkidk im going to stop speculating until we have more information. Um. Checkmate anime is coming out first and i will be focusing my attention and obsession there, sorry. My knightspilled checkmateholic eichip swag.

Im not sure if you meant you actually hate romantic date /srs or if it was said in a "omg i hate x thing its gonna be the only thing i think about for days" way. I feel like you meant it /srs but im personally a fan of the story poking fun at fandom behavior, giving into and critiquing at the same time, as well as the insights into himeru's psyche. The game with affinity points from the other characters is just in himeru's head and a manifestation of his subconscious, where he thinks no one's love for him can grow as he doesnt let them actually know Him, the person beyond the himeru persona. Only tatsumi who loves everyone could still love him. And thats also pissing him off.

They both approach and view things, relationships, motivation etc so differently, a lot of himeru's internal monologues are filled with "negative" feelings (jealousy, pride, paranoia etc. Even the earliest we know of him is that he ran away from home because his dad remarried and he couldnt accept it, he's been like this forever. And yet, these feelings arent fitting with the perfect ido persona, so he bottles them up, with the occasional slip ups. Himeru's presence and slow opening up in crazy:b of all units, the group driven by their feelings and desires, is so so important to me.) whereas tatsumi just...has so much love and acceptance (although as much as they're an important part of his character, it's just as important that he also has his own wishes and desires and he does act on them, moreso than himeru at least. Like his hobby of driving recklessly, which he doesnt do because he cant drive well, but because he wants to do it like that and to experience the fun even if it's unconventional or incomprehensible to others). And this gap in their mentalities and approaches to life is scary for himeru. It's a hundred times harder to love and save another than to hate or break someone down (paraphrasing from another enstars quote lmao), i can empathize with himeru having complicated feelings about tatsumi's character that he doesnt understand himself, so he defaults to calling him unpleasant rather than having to unpack it. Let aside that beyond the difference in approaches they also have a complicated past, it's easier to just blame tatsumi who can take it seemingly unscathed. I think romantic date is fun to read both before and after having experienced obbligato...especially moreso after, when youre aware of the foreshadowing and further developments (this has been my experience with most of akira's gacha stories he's written in es2 era)

Im not a tthm shipper in the traditional sense of "i want to see them date" cuz i think what they have going on is much more fascinating and nuanced than that and it'd do the relationship a disservice imo. I was gonna say it's also fun to put these characters who struggle with understanding each other and actual romance and love in general actually in every sense of the word together but thats kind of the entire cast. A lot of my favorite dynamics at least, that have had varying degrees of success and development. However, it is something i enjoy, obviously, so i will always remain fond of romantic date...wah i rambled about this for a very long time, i'll stop now!

just some passing thoughts about the default pose/ keyart for every character, and noticing some design choices for JP (obviously, who else would i be talking about in detail)

so this is JP's:

..but it's easier to talk about it after looking at some of the other casts' artworks first

Marisa's is clearly connected to her stage, The Colosseum

the background is a sandy brown and the effects are an eruption of rose petals, which also litter the ground of her stage floor

the shape of the rose petal explosion is also impactful and passionate, almost like a spray of blood. it all fits her character well

then, we have styles like Blanka, which reference the electricity of his attacks. it's also got this hand drawn and comical look to it that work well with his personality.

the blue background is simple: just keeps in line with his overall color palette, so ofc it's going to work well

finally, we have ones like Juri's. more abstract, but you get what kind of emotion they wanted to convey with it. it's miasmic, the black and pink/ purple looks like an evil aura, which fits her perfectly.

her background also has these, action line like smears that suggest movement, or how the lights of the city blur past as you speed on a motorcycle

i could go through the full cast's, but the point is that many of them are quite easy to identity what and why they chose what they did.

Cammy's is in the shape of a triangle: a delta symbol, for Delta Red. Guile's got stripes that are like the US flag, green for military. Kimberly's is basically her spraypaint, AKI has flowers for her 'snake among the flowers' theme. etc etc

which is partially why i couldnt help but look at JP's and be a bit confused at first (prompting this post lol)

the background is more straight forward: the same burgundy, velvet-ish red that's used in his title cards. it's a luxurious color that fits him well

most of the other artworks also have this, vignette effect towards the bottom, so im not surprised that JP's does as well. but his seems emphasized more, making the red look like running blood stains on a wall. regal and sinister, i like it but then the grey paint smear behind him. so far, a lot of the 'effects' use the colors for each character's drive impact. JP's, does not. his in game is a bright, gold-cream white (much like his default costume's cape), that turns into a darker purple, for his psycho power.

but the smear here is a concrete grey, streaked straight down making it look like torn wallpaper. if the velvet red background is his outer appearance- the nice paints that everyone sees on first interaction- then the grey is what it's really like underneath: the cold, uncaring foundations of a building, exposed by being ripped off the canvas

Football games were so BORING... Who the hell had made it manditory to go to them if they were on the weekend? Stupid high school...stupid "spirit requirements"...if they wanted to keep the schools spirit up they should put less money into the damn sports teams... Max, stuck at this match like everyone else, was doing everything he could to avoid actually watching the meatheads mashing into each other on the field. Mainly, wandering the far end of the field (because of course it was open, the school didnt have enough money for a full stadium, just the field every school got from the government, a pair of multi use posts, and a few bleachers right in the sun) attempting to get signal from his phone. Because, of course the school wouldnt pay for THAT either... With no one else there, and basically nothing else to do, he almost couldnt help but notice the staggering figure approaching from the friendly side of the field. Holy shit was that one of the cheerleaders? A second later WHO it was became obvious; Missi, her huge belly leading the way. God, what was that slut doing down here...actually why was she at this game in her condition? Not that she'd let it get in her way before... Max glanced left, right, seeing if anyone was following him...then moved to wathc her instead. Whatever she was doing was gonna be more fun than the game THAT was for sure.

Missi really should have gone home when her water broke in the locker room. Went home, or went to the hospital. But she stubbornly wanted to get through the game. So she dressed up in her uniform that barely fits now. Her round stomach was just about completely on display. And went out on the field with the rest of the cheerleaders.

She had absolutely no idea that labor would be this painful. Missi was barely keeping it together. Each contraction knocked the wind right out of her. The baby’s head was so low it was forcing her hip bones apart. Missi faked a big smile and hid the pain she was in. Though some of the girls gave her worried side glances. It was clear something was wrong. Missi’s face was flushed, she was sweating badly, and her large belly was hanging awfully low…

The bouncing and dancing seemed to progress the labor a lot faster than Missi expected. Though she really didn’t fully know what she was in for. This was her first pregnancy. Her first time going through labor and giving birth. Truthfully, she was using the game to push back giving birth. She was scared. Really scared. She didn’t even mean to get pregnant in the first place! It was even more humiliating that she didn’t have a clue who the father might be. It could be any of the football players. Or even one of the male teacher’s. Missi had to find a way to pass her class somehow!

The game wasn’t even half over and Missi was already being hit with the overwhelming need to push. Her body was begging for it. The baby’s head had her fully dilated, and was forcing it’s way through her cervix even without her pushing. She kept pressing her thighs together in hopes of keeping the baby in her but it wasn’t working. Panic was starting to set in. This baby was demanding to be let out!

When no one was looking, Missi squatted a bit and gave a testing push. She had to clench her teeth tightly together to not scream as the baby’s head shot forward. Spreading her canal open. The small girl felt as if she was being ripped in two. The top of the head was already starting to be visible at her entrance. Which was slowly bulging out from the weight of the baby. Her legs were feeling weak, she needed something to grip on. The field goal was not too far away and everyone was distracted by the game. Missi basically had to waddle there. With the baby’s head basically lodged between her legs, it made it so hard to walk properly. By the time she reached the goal to grip onto, the lips of her slit was already being pulled by as the head lowered on its own. Feeling the next contraction and the need to push, Missi gripped the goal tightly and squatted as she pushed down hard. She timed her scream to be covered up by the cheering crowd. Her panties were starting to bulge against the baby’s head. Fluid was rolling down her thighs. Now she was fully crying from the pain and she couldn’t let go of the post to move her panties. She was in a terrible situation and she had no idea someone had spotted her struggles.

finally finished gilgamesh (the korean webcomic, not the actual sumerian epic of gilgamesh) and like ohhh i get it, tink is haunting the narrative

jrgrjgbgkg sobbing. because this is EXACTLY what zius says in tek which means zius' ideology is directly based on tink. and now zius passes on tink's words to the second special class fjhg

can you TELL tink was my favorite character in this. rip king i miss you but at least you get to be the catalyst for all of tek ✌️

also WOW on context. "oh hey that's legia from gilgamesh" legia is in ONE CHAPTER of gilgamesh. IN THE LAST ONE.

the paneling in fights was kinda wild and i couldnt tell what actually killed tink even once i reread the chapter which maybe cheapened his death a bit. like DID waron stab him? I DONT KNOW! I CANT TELL! did he just get done in by two malto goons to protect tludia? fuck if i know. can someone explain

the gilgamesh cast actually ended up growing on me by the end i was ready to scream when it teased hadar dying like three times at the end

and i also like how tludia was characterized later on and her picking up all these habits from ram and listening to a his stories only to later succeed him is aaaaa

foreshadowing 👍

the explanation for ram and tludia's Whole Deal is. wack though. "yeah ram exists because of a programming error basically. also last thursday-ism is real." why does it matter that ram tells tludia the world history if the history is fake??? why did tludia's curse flare up BEFORE hinsher got unthawed if hinsher being alive is the catalyst for it?

i GUESS it fits in with the worldbuilding of restrictions and rules as avenues of power. all power comes at a cost in this world and i think it's GREAT worldbuilding and powerscaling but using it to handwave plot beats kinda blows

on that note the worldbuilding around demons is kind of. yikes. i get they're going for a "forever war" thing but. really had to specify that they're all black huh. is this why tek never shows them onscreen? is hwandaeng embarrassed about this now.

it's not as bad as it could be what with the "both sides suck" approach but damn daljan really fucked up by essentially demoting tink for being anti-racist and not explaining that he'd like tink to teach new knights to be less racist. bcuz all tink is gonna walk away with is "knights are racist". daljan. my man.

i keep talking abt tink (love that bitch!) but i do truly love how fucked the concept of Honor got with him. and ruthless ram is in the later part of the comic. tludia criticizes him by asking if tink had any choice. ram says it was his honor and choice to die. but. tink was blackmailed into working for the malto in the first place. he didnt ever have a choice. choosing to die was his only choice. ESPECIALLY HOW WITH TLUDIA'S BACKSTORY WITH KANDENTIA!! it's paralleled with how kandentia criticzes tludia for stealing, but tludia says it's a priviledge to be so rightous!! not everyone can afford honor! are you gonna tell a starving child to stop stealing because its illegal? are you gonna tell a man being blackmailed into criminality to choose the "right" thing?

honor as a priviledge is a fantastic concept to explore

also on that note. ram. looking back on it he Never really gives people a choice. like obviously, his "negotiation" with the fake mushia. once the peaceful option fails, he just starts threatening her. oh, and how his cowardice is repeated - the people he's leaving aren't ever given a choice either, are they? and from the beginning of the plot, too. what choice does tludia have but to trust him when he's the only one who could possibly cure her fatal curse disease????

and in the end tludia's final actual choice is "life forever or die." like. what choice is that even

at least tludia's desire to keep living no matter what is a long established thing so it makes sense for her to do that

wow the story really has like 2 suicides. first ram and then muitin in the bonus stories. hot diggity

kinda mad hadar's sister plotline didn't really get resolved. where'd she go. i get that hadar's resolution to the plotline is that he gives up on looking for her and starts living for himself, since she never wanted him to find her anyway - but it still stings a little

she probably became a knight. she's not legia's sidekick, is she?? they look a little similar. maybe without the lipstick...

also fucking WILD to have tek things recontextualized

like oh these bozos are fron letoon. where stella lived and died. okay!

or going from "i dont care abt tamin" to "TINK'S BROTHER??????"

morbidly hilarious that he ended up becoming solbas' sidekick then. is that why she cares so much about rescuing him in tek? not just a simply need for his two braincells (as she has none), but guilt as well?

didn't tamin have tink's weapons in tek too. oh my gosh i'm going to cry

tanshirin got so much more fucked up now seeing her in gilgamesh. "tyr's sister. cool 👍" to "hahah. girl what." good on her for becoming a knight though. seeing her with hinsher's hammer in gilgamesh was surreal

also in tek when zius explains the reason the east and west hate each other so much now realizing he was talking about hadar, tink, and hwashran specifically. i hope hadar shows up in tek at some point. just having the guy who Caused The War, Somewhat there would be hilarious. the smug smirk that launched a thousand ships. (hadar is a riot)

speaking of hinsher!!!! her story is the one that made me sob most (only time i cried at this comic was "gnojes the blacksmith" from the side stories). it's just. auhvrhhr. the human equivalent of hachiko. and at the end of the side story where hinsher steps into the workshop and is greeted by those bearing his name i aurghgfhf

it's really well handled how hinsher reacts to the situation. she's devestated, obviously. that moment when she sees ram and sees he's unchanged and asks him how long it's been but of course he's IMMORTAL but she doesn't know that so she thinks it's been no time at all but it was 500 years i'm. i'm fine

and just like everythinggggg and how she eventually copes by imagining gnojes managed to be happy without her. maybe he found someone else. the conflict of longing and desolation at hearing the name of gnojes continues, but then - he never had any children. he never married. he waited for her.

and how hinsher just. she regrets leaving gnojes. she regrets being trapped. she doesn't regret trying to save strangers. because that is her knight's honor. and she does it again, protecting tludia and nephren in the final arc,,,, don't talk to me

AND THEN THE SIDE STORY SHOWS. GNOJES NEVER GAVE UP LOOKING FOR HER. BUT HE FOUND HAPPINESS AGAIN, TOO. in his work. with the children he adopted. he died of old age surrounded by people he loved, who loved him too. but he never stopped missing her. and she'll never stop grieving him

the tragedy is just fucking DELICIOUS okay

do also love how the side stories show that ram is an unreliable narrator. it's really neat to see characters picked up and fleshed out without his viewpoint. like the fuckin plot twist that it was depression era ram who killed suldin and not tisalle. but ram only heard "suldin was killed by his apprentice" and didn't remember doing it, so he assumed tisalle did it. and then killed tisalle for it. fucked up 👍

what more was i saying

waron is way more fucked up than i thought but zius describes her as "predictably unpredictable" so she's just always been like this. how the fuck did the knights reign her in again. kandentia probably kicked her ass and now she just wants to brawl with zius now that her main target is dead. she's fantastic and i love her. she knows EXACTLY what she wants.

the general theme of self sacrifice and making yourself the villain to help others both with ram's actions and the demon knight backstory and waron's short story on how she hates knights kinda makes me think she also does this to establish that not all knights are just? after all, honor is individual, and not all honor will be "good", with waron as a prime example

did she ask nagyunn how he'd kill her just to figure out if he'd be fun to fight

that is. all my thoughts on gilgamesh i can remember at the moment. this post is long and messy but such is customary for me 👍

once again i think gilgamesh is hampered by the early chapters trying to hard to be comedic. once it settles on a tone and as the art improves i started enjoying it way more but with how frontloaded the flashbacks are (even if they pay off in full later!) i definetly wouldn't have been nearly as invested if it weren't for me reading tek first. tek just has a better plot hook with a character with a set goal and a plan to achieve it, whereas the beginning of gilgamesh kinda meanders as the crew sets out to unlock ram's memories, which doesn't really end up significantly changing ram, even. the beginning is too largely incidental to me so tink n the malto as concrete antagonists to outwit and overcome def helped that.

but also the ending feels just. messy. here is god to give us exposition. everything you did was useless. ram's pivot into ending the world suddenly, even if it's to draw out god(?), feels much too abrupt. yes he had the report about tludia and hinsher being somehow connected, and i did find it odd she could understand hadar without using sign language, but that foreshadowing really wasn't enough to even conceive what his plan was, especially since his talk with the fake mushia leaves out the dialogue where he actually gets her to agree. and then it also cuts out the final words tludia gives to ram before he jumps off the cliff.

to be fair tek ALSO does this a lot but it p much is always dialogue that would've been boring and is brought up only when relevant, with the general sense of "i guess they could've talked about this at that point." (main way tek blows it is with jiroon, imo - like, put the scene with nagyunn encouraging her before her death, maybe? so we're not just invested in her in-post? flashbacks work with tink because he already had plenty of build up before dying, and additional context just expands on what we already knew about him. i digress.)

and then the malto mooks who attack tludia and co are literally unnamed and faceless. it would've already been better if pavrin was the one to betray mushia. it was. just some fucking guy! okay!

tldr abt the ending: i dont really get it ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ the midpoint of the comic feels best to me writing wise. overall i enjoyed it though, even if i still like tek more.

dang, now i should totally reread tek for a fourth time, just so i can pick up on every detail gilgamesh expands on or recontextualizes.

like some of these r just for fun (like why daljan is so important to kandentia, since both of them are rather minor characters in tek), and others r kinda bonkers (the dragon has lost some of his mystique now that nephren exists to me)

Knives Out Thoughts (With expected spoilers)

Lol I just wanted to admit that I prefer the first one better but in real neurotic fashion my brain wanted to justify that until settling on to that it's just a personal bias and its not a flaw or at least intended design.

I think I liked the first one better because it was contained in a way I like better. Contradictions like, a funny Clue mansion that visually felt so contained in its own absurdity. Like its big. Fits like 3 generations. Has an entire center area with a big fucking knife throne. But the sets make it look like these guys were suffocating, perhaps under how much they depended on Harlan that they put up with the kooky mansion. So its psychological and physical. And its fun.

The Glass Onion V2 is like, wealth too egregious to really put up with compared to this. The Clue mansion was still a display of wealth within that really compressed environment and I guess I at least prefer spatial modesty. And here's where I say that yeah that shit is on purpose. It's shameless on purpose because that Elon Musk rip off is just supposed to be that way. It's just that it released at a time where everyone is so done with his shit where they either laugh and do nothing or feel no catharsis at all.

So anyways personal preference aside I'm gonna elaborate that train of thought with justifying why I like the other better. But except I use it to point out that it's fine that it's different but mostly the same formula. Knives Out is a murder mystery story about this Southern guy who keeps being mysteriously dragged to solve high profile murders with multiple layers of deceit alongside unfortunate normal ladies who get dragged along with this mess... which usually ends up with rich bozos getting the rug pulled under them. Both stories involve dependence towards a rich dude. Both co-leads tend to be ladies who arent ultra-rich... and they took liberties with it. Such as Elon Musk wanting to victimize himself instead of actually being murdered. Or the self referential bit being that it was a murder mystery party (I know I would suck at those). Or the framework of the mystery, where first one was about filling the gap that solves everything. But the second one is that the nothingness shows itself in plain sight. The lack of a mystery as the transparent screen you look through to see pretentious puzzles waiting to be solved. And its like, that's where theyre different. I like the two movies in their own different ways that theyve set themselves in. The first one is the fun traditional murder in a house that's a homage to traditional murder mysteries, then the second one is just really really funny to me as The Witness guy. I have to view them so differently but that's just how theyre made. And its fine.

Is glass onion predictable? No, because the way the story was laid out is obscuring the larger story on purpose because its honing in to the layers than the transparent bulletproof casing that protects it from being torn the fuck apart because the mystery is garbage By Design. The first one also fucks over rich people, but it's an individual win. Glass onion is like, switched around. Some of the leads are actively worse than others, or even better people, but they get an overall win, kind of. I think it's just a flaw in the framing because you get that cathartic bit of taking the big bad down by collective action but who's to say his wacko lobbyist friends are going to stick to the script. Just reversed the scale, which is simple but enough to switch it up.

One thing I really couldnt personally stand and its uh. The set. its just too big for me. Feels nauseous. I know its on purpose like I said initially to showcase the scale of how big of a prick these guys were but it was just, tying in with more technological buzzwords definitely did not help. Like, I watch knives out to avoid that bs, but its okay I guess. I liked seeing startup bitches burn. Fun.

The bit with mona lisa we caught on way too immediately but I think, with how much they built up to it, it paid off very well. Didnt matter if we picked it up quickly even before the final catalyst because it was very fun to both metaphorically and literally break glass.

Glass Onion is a dream to describe how I feel about the witness and what made it that way. Silicon Valley goons, puzzles on an island, faux resort stuff, layers, puzzles hidden in plain sight stuff, and just... Why I find pretentious stuff compelling is that you see it all in front of you and you play along with cynical delight. Sometimes I'm wrong about the nature of anything that wants to take itself seriously. But sometimes you get shit like that. Is this ironic... I think you'll probably wish it was. It's like obsessive thoughtguy's version of morbid curiosity. I love this bullshit! Rahhhhh!

Also I'm just not a fan of the among us bit. From all the odd marketing for the game this is the line is crossed. Original knives out talks about rejecting a Netflix deal and this one is produced by netflix. Put among us impostor for laughs but come off as the most sinister product placement ever. Focus more on social media + disruption but almost come off as ingenuous coming from the corporation who produced it, but not noticablr enough because hey it's already pretty radical to want the tesla guy dead. Don't look behind the meaningless puzzle of producing content in the streaming age either. People say they didnt promote glass onion enough and wonder why its doing bad and not... realizing its a pattern of behavior. I saw like 3 glass onion billboards, they are not neglecting marketing. They probably spend MORE on marketing than anything else. So like, if you want to look at simple things obscured by some guys wanting it to seem more complicated than it is: poke into that. They'd love that shit. Good night everyone.

are they all worried about me and at the same time not able to "deal" with me because for the first time, i'm not studying and stressed out for the first time? Because this is the first time they've been able to see the extent of my worries and mental illness? Funny how i carried everyone else's worries and took their anger for 18 years and said absolutely nothing about it and in fact, accepted it as my job as the eldest sibiling but as soon as I am home without school, my entire future is called into question and people start worrying about me because for the first time in my life, at 19, I'm not losing myself to have my shit together and sleeping 3 hours a night to get homework done. For the first time in my LIFE i'm trying hobbies and interests and talking to people about my day because for once i have something GOOD to say about it. and all they're worried about is my future. not even celebrating these small joys that i was so starved of for so, so many years. Saying i used to be a good example. A good example?? I had one friend for all of middle and high school and it was toxic. I never made any other friends because this one had expressed they needed me and made me feel guilty when i tried to branch out to make other friends. I was a role model when i became a therapist to my parents. I was a role model for my siblings when I had no hobbies or interests, when I stopped fighting back and started to shut the fuck up and take shit from everyone. When i took shit from people and let people push me around and was people pleasing to the extreme so someone could validate my existence for 15 seconds. I was a great role model when i broke myself by dedicating my life to school. Yeah, i was a great role model. hah. I was never a great role model, I was just skilled at hiding myself enough to appear like i was. and i didn't even do it intentionally. fuck. well guess what? now i am fighting back and im letting myself FEEL. Im letting myself feel frustrated that my mom says she doesn't want to hear about the times im happy. Im letting myself feel angry that my childhood was ripped away from me and i had to dedicate my life to making sure my siblings had it easier than i because the 'rents didn't change. im letting myself toy with the idea of actually having friends who i share common interests with!! how crazy is that. For the first time in my LIFE im realizing i have never had a friend i had actual interests in common with. probably because i never fit in, because i couldnt speak english until the middle of elementary school, because i didn't know how to do social things or hang out anymore because my only childhood friend was ripped away from me because somene just had to go and do an awful thing. even though she lived next door, i didn't get to see her. and i went over there to escape from my home. there are so many things that im realizing now and yk what? im not sorry that you're seeing how it manifests irl now that i dont have good grades to make up for the fact im lacking in all other aspects that are the most important; hobbies, social skills, friends, interests, favorites. So sorry that the eldest sibling isn't what you wanted. But it's what you got. You're just sorry you have to see what you caused.

i hate myself because im never good at anything and i always want to be the best i cant even describe the rage and desperation i have when things dont go as i want. like i will get so mad at myself and basically want to kill myself in the moment when i cannot be the best at something and

also been feeling like my ed is slowly creeping back i need to be in shape i hate my body i want to rip all my insides out i want to throw up and purge and i need to get skinny my body is disgusting and since i stopped active training i can feel how weak my body is i need to get in shape it’s embarrassing how weak i am like when i was throwing rocks with my friends i couldnt even throw them correctly i wanted to literally die i feel so impotent and ugly and if i was strong and skinny i could be pretty and at least good at something

also i feel so greatly that i’m the problem in all my relationships with people like my friends secretly hate me and romantic stuff makes me feel so anxious and i just ruin everything by getting anxious and running away and i feel like my parents cant even love me and i constantly isolate myself from everyone because i cant face people when im like this i hate who i am and i want to change everything about me i despise myself and i hate my personality and voice and face and i cant do anything right i’m just anxious at all times and ruin everything im the problem i should just end it all i should leave i shouldnt be here im a problem i cant do this im getting old i cant fit in society i have no future i have nothing i want to do and the things i desire are things that i cannot achieve because i’m useless and hopeless and cannot do anything right even if i try my hardest and my hardest try is never even close to being enough i just cant take it anymore

if it feels like we’re going rlly fast now its bc we are. the dream was pretty much a montage at this point. hawkmoth is arrested, the world knows who ladybug is, adrian is an orphan, nathalie is still sick, and marinettes parents r thinking that their kid has nearly died MULTIPLE TIMES and they never knew. also luka is under that bridge going “oh fuck.” marinette is in her room trying to explain what will happen next to alya and nino. alya says “i had to tell nino”and marinette says “i am beyond the point of anger. but whatever.” cat noir falls thru her sunroof and they hug (again, there was so much hugging in this dream to make up for the complete lack of hugging in the actual show) and alya + nino are like “uhhh awkward.” the last convo i don’t have quotes for bc at this point my alarm was ringing but it was something abt how marinette cant be ladybug or hold the miracle box and she wld want alya to be the holder but NINO knows and nino Cant Know. but cat noir doesnt want marinette to lose her memories! but People Know. the conclusion was they have to talk to chloe abt how to navigate paparazzi. this is my chloe-and-marinette-could-be-friends agenda. ok i think thats EVERYTHING. if u read all that godspeed, drink water.
