AITA for putting my family in a time loop against their will?

I (20~) am part of a party fighting to stop The King from freezing the country in time forever. We were all very powerful, with each of us having a role to fill. My job was to look out for traps and lead the party, but when I go to the house I missed a trap and died like an IDIOT! You dumb dumb dumb idiot. Why didn't you notice it?

When I died it turned out that I was in a timeloop. When ever I died I would wake up on the day before we entered the House. I thought this was a blessing, from the change god or maybe the universe. I thought I could escape it if I beat The King but I would always loop back to that day. back to that day. back to that day. back to that day. back to that day. back to that day. back to that day. back to that day. back to that day. back to that-

I wouldn't want them to leave and I put them in that loop.

They keep saying that its fine. I was the only one who remembered the loops anyways, but it isn't

(I had grand ambitions of doing the Setleth comics in some semblance of chronological order but that's almost certainly not how people on this website would encounter them anyway, so whatever. We're gonna hop around.)

their name is Muck specifically because that is their villain origin story. "Muck? What a lovely name!" it's not. they know it's not. Considering interceptor lore, they simply Came Into Being One Day, and have not figured out this whole human empathy thing since. Bugs, however. Bugs will not speak, and most people think they're gross, so Muck feels kind of a kinship with them. Bugs will never betray you if you treat them right. (At least bug type Pokemon dont).

They do not care abt other people At All, and would much rather be alone, so they try to drive others away by being abrasive as often as possible (yes, I needed to roleplay justifications to pick mean dialogue options, because I am weak at heart but also deeply curious.)

It's only really Their Mom they care about. Their mom did not comment on the name they spawned into existence with, and their mom is nice, and doesn't mind if they're mean and silent, and their mom always loves them, and something about her makes them believe her, when they dont believe people saying the same thing.

(Something something, neither the interceptor nor Nancy are really human, and they can tell the other's just like them)

Her death strikes them incredibly hard, only really serving to make them shut out people even further. Unlike a paragon character, they never really get over their grief, only becoming more and more bitter as the plot spirals.

However, when Nancy leaves a pokemon behind for them, Muck can't help but accept it into their team. Fairies are kind of like sparkly bugs, aren't they?
