How rude would it be to laugh as Tony comes to the conclusion that he's learned another a hard lesson about life?

If she weren't Pepper Potts, executive assistant turned CEO extraordinaire whose schedule was bogged down with work and combating the latest enemy of Iron Man; than she would work on an extensive excel sheet with accompanying flow chart of all the life lessons that Tony Stark should have learned over the years along with when and what situation taught him that.

Her eyes scan over him, and it was situations like theses where she wished to have a hypothetical physical chart of all the life lessons that Tony had to learn and relearn over the year. If you would look at section C, column D, item 8; you would be reminded of the time that you....

A sigh exhales her lips as she considers what this would mean for the company this time; the repercussions did not seem immediate but a plan should be devised when this comes back to bite him in the ass. As most things do, no matter how trivial they may have seemed, they always come back to bite Tony in the ass and as Tony's more loyal employee; that meant that they would bite Pepper in the ass.

She still kind of wants to laugh, and it's not out of heartlessness toward Tony Stark. Her boss, her friend, her family. It's that sometime it would be easier to deal with everything if she could laugh at it. At least that's something she heard once. Laugh instead of cry.

It's not that she was mad at him, but she was disappointed with him. That's a feeling that gets old fast. ❝ You know you always have within your hands grasp to ⸺ to not lie; to not leave your family to clean up your mess, or to leave them, us, with what is left and find the answers, to... to reboot you again or... someone's taken it all and used it against you, and... ❞ Tightness to her voice.

There is the awareness that not every time that has been his fault and she's not not even meaning specifically when he's been dead brain, when he's been in a coma, or something or other. It was always that last part and she knows she isn't alone in this feeling. She knows he is careful now, that he's grown now; that he has a lot to lose and leave behind. That he's so much wiser, many mistakes but hopefully getting fewer in between.

A sigh, never mind the thought, ❝ Is this time the life lesson going to stick? ❞ One way or another, Pepper is sure that she'll be there for him the next time that his family is the ones cleaning up his mess, or helping him clean up his mess. Or rebooting his brain, reviving his body, or the next thing. ❝ You don't look hurt or dead, besides perhaps your pride? ❞

Marvel (MCU and Comics): I’m open to OCxCC, CCxCC, ABO, and Poly in this one I love world-building and meshing MCU canon with comic Canon and our own idea’s as well. If we’re doing CCXCC I do have a preference of M/M pairings but I am open to some M/F and F/F and other paring combinations.

Harry Potter (Marauders Era after graduation only): I’m open OCxCC and CCXCC I adore world-building for this one and bending Canon to fit our liking. I do also prefer to have multiple characters and moving parts in these plots in the background.

Criminal Minds: I’m open OCxCC, CCXCC. ABO and Poly ship here as well. I like to have a nice blend of slice of life and other things with a little bit of casework. Basically the reverse to what the show gave us.

Supernatural: I’m just looking for OCxCC here uhmm it’s been a hot minute since I’ve roleplayed this fandom. I think I’ve seen up to season ten for sure? I am planning on finishing it soon. I think my OC would pair up nicely with Dean or Cas but I’m open to your suggestions as well.
