russia’s behavior in blaming united states and the rest of nato for helping ukraine to beat russia in an invasion started by russia gives the whole world a clear example of revisionist history deserving historians to critically re-examine.

and in my personal interest, i am convinced that historian should re-examine china’s revisionist behavior in blaming 8 nations alliance in 1900 for the military conflict triggered by boxer rebellion.

likewise china is blaming united states for trade war for infringement of ip patents for coverup of covid19 for taiwan tension by threatening to invade and for South China Sea by building islands and behaving hostile.

these are classic behaviors of belligerent country with revisionist tendencies.

ANIMATORS NEEDED

Hello!

Though you may have heard, since we've been advertising it constantly for the past while, we are working on an original cartoon project called Psychomachia!

A few things you need to know: first of all, this project is UNPAID. While we understand this can make it seem unappealing to someone more experienced, we hope that this can be an opportunity to learn and grow, and especially to have fun!

So far, we have a writer, a storyboard artist, two colorists, and six voice actors for the main cast! Unfortunately, animating is a process with a lot of moving parts (literally), so we're going to need some more people for that.

Before we get into that, we want to show you a bit of what we've been working on, so you can get a feel for the project!

So, if you clicked "keep reading," we can assume that means your interest is piqued. Good!

Now, let me tell you a little about what the story is about.

Our story follows Israel; A Nephalem born of an angel and a demon, a.k.a., his parents: Paul and Persephone.

In the afterlife, there are multiple jobs to chose from, but the toughest and most fulfilling is the role of an Id or Superego (working titles). Their job is to guide the person they're assigned to to a path of righteousness...

Or a path of deviance...

Being a Nephalem, Israel has a tough time getting a job--- and when he finally does, he's assigned to a very not good little girl named Rebecca.

If you made it this far, we can assume you're at least somewhat interested, right?

While we're also looking for people to work on music and sound design, our main focus right now is animation. There are a few specific roles that need filling that we'd like to focus on for now.

For all

It would be good if you have:

experience with digital drawing (it doesn’t have to be much – you hold a pen in your hand a few times – you’re good!)

a program that that allows you to save images in png. format

discord for communication

AND a passion for animation combined with good vibes only :D

And for specific roles...

LINEARTIST

Your part in the project:

You'll receive an animatic with keyframes and rough in-betweens. Your job will be to make the lineart of all moving parts (mostly people).

It would be good if you have:

- smooth, consistent lines

- the ability to maintain a consistent art style between frames

- and the ability to imitate other styles (you don't have to be a copy machine!)

BACKGROUND ARTIST

Your part in the project:

You’ll get sketches of a BG and your job will be to turn them into a rendered BG art piece, that can by used directly in the final animation.

It would be good if you have:

a basic understanding of perspective, light and shadow and colors

different parts of BG on separate layers/images saved (so we can move them in post if needed ^^)

COLORIST (SHADING)

Your part in the project:

You’ll get colored drawings with a BG and your job will be to set characters in the scene by placing shadows and reflections in the right places.

It would be good if you have:

a basic understanding of shadows and lights

the ability to feel the mood of each shot and transfer it into the animation

REVISIONIST

Your part in the project:

You’ll be shown the animatic and then the final animation; and what we want you to do is to look for mistakes – in consistency between the frames, in perspective, and other things, etc – and then suggest options on how to fix them.

It would be good if you have:

some experience in animation and a basic understanding of every part of it (so you know how it basically works)

the ability to make clear notes about mistakes you’ve found

enough confidence to share your opinion on things!

Of course, there can be more than one person for each role, one person dabbling in multiple roles, etc. We need people and will fit them where we can, if you choose to join.

i know that ppl like to joke about iroh having to tutor zuko in algebra after he’s banished, but i also like to think about how during that week or so that aang was enrolled in a fire nation middle school, he would have just surreptitiously handed assignments to sokka to complete on his behalf so as to keep up appearances. and then, after he mysteriously disappears, the faculty get together to be like, “that kuzon sure was a troublemaker, but just take a look at his homework. in all the three days he was enrolled in this school, he got a perfect score on every math test, but somehow managed to get every single detail bizarrely and offensively wrong on his history assignment. what a strange, brilliant kid”

Mary Crawford appears in Highbury.

Mary and Emma instantly connect. Neither has ever met another woman as clever and exuberant as themselves. In company they show off for each other while appearing perfectly civil to everyone else — until one of them breaks into giggles. They are a joy to be around, even though people suspect they’re not in on a joke.

The brochure states there are five "myths" around the creation of the state of Israel, which are subsequently refuted in short essays by various authors.In the first section, debunking myth #1, that Jews and Arabs lived together in peace before Israel was founded, Israel's pre-state militia, the Haganah, responsible for the destruction of 531 Palestinian villages and the expulsion of 700,000 Palestinians between December 1947 and the summer of 1948, is promoted as a merely "defensive" Jewish resistance movement. Under 'Myth #2: Israel was established on stolen Palestinian land', Masiyot states that the acquisition of land by Jewish immigrants to Palestine took the form of a legal exchange of capital for an official title deed.

At no point in history was land illegally conquered by Jewish immigrants, the author of the text, Michael Spaney, claims.Even land conquered following the wars of 1948 and 1967 and the subsequent construction of settlements, which are internationally recognised as a violation of international law, did not occur unlawfully, it says. "Anyone who uses the accusation of land theft as an argument demonises Israel and denies its legitimacy, i.e. acts out of antisemitic motives," Spaney wrote. "Myth #5: Israel is to blame for the Nakba", includes a text by researcher Shany Mor titled "the UN is distorting the meaning of the Nakba: its view of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is extremely one-sided". In the text, Mor states that "displacement during war - then and now - was nothing unusual".He also labels the UN's attention to the Palestinian cause "obsessive" and the Arab defeat of 1948 a myth.
