guys, fu*king Twitter/X is exploding with BuckyNat and SteveSharon AI generated images. I get it that this is kind of fun for someone, but please, please, keep in mind that when you're using an AI software you're basically robbing real artists/persons of their work - fanartists, photographer, comic artist, concept artists... - , breaking a copyright, and adding more dubious material to an already image-ridden system.

All the artists/fan artists - me included- work really hard to create new and original content everyday, and most of us do that for free in our spare time just for passion and love, and it's sad and disheartening to know that our content can be re-used/scraped by an AI without our consent and without compensation, to generate heartless-dead eyed images - AI generated images that most of the times get much more hype and attention that our original human made content does - !!!

So, I know it's fun, it's easy and all that, but still, please, try to think about it and try to be respectfull of all the humans that are behind the images that your AI software needs to work properly. Thank you!

Okay it's been some days and I see more and more repost of good omens art on TikTok with no credits, most certenly without the permissions of artist since there is a lot of work from artist who don't whant to be repost, and this is not ok at all!

Please, do ask the artists!!

Unless they have explicit say they are ok with it in a a general way, ask them for permission, thise is really the first courtesy.

We are all arguing (with reason) against the theft of works by AI so can't we not do the same thing between us?

All artist deserve their work to be respected. And that mean to be share with their consent and with the visibility they deserved.

I just have found this echange, liked by the creator of a post who credits no one and who share works for artists who ask for not reposting their work, and it's really make me angry.

Please be respectfull, ask. There is the better way to support the artists you like, whanever the fandom, whanever their arts

finally at that age where i'm thinking i should get a tattoo. not bc i feel strongly about it, just seems like a waste not to. i've got so much skin i'm not using

#feels so selfish like. all this skin what am i saving it for?#open to design suggestions! (please make me regret this offer)#maybe some deep sea horrors. a pretty watercolor of a gulper eel #once saw a person on the subway with various Skeleton Tattoos on all their limbs #i respected their commitment to the theme #but more than that i respected how all the skeletons were engaged in Activities #dancing in a ballgown. juggling its own (and two other???) skulls. swordfighting. being a mermaid skeleton #ANYWAY. the only reason i haven't already gotten tattoos is i just couldn't be bothered #i'm old enough to know i don't have any strong-but-potentially-temporary feelings driving me towards it #aesthetically i prefer decorated to non-decorated surfaces. but i'm not artistic or thrilled with commitment #honestly it feels like sheer laziness. indecisiveness--nay. immaturity!--that i HAVEN'T gotten a tattoo yet #letting all this blank canvas go to waste. tut tut i need to grow up and be an adult and get a tattoo sleeve already.#really i've put off my responsibilities long enough #(in fairness i DID at one time have 18 different piercings)#(but i took most of them out bc they interfere with wearing headphones and/or shoving my face in my pillow during Sleep Time)#(i only kept the nape piercing bc oddly enough it ended up being the most convenient. and the least painful to get now i think about it.)#(neck piercing? no problem. normal pair of earrings? It's so funny that Cass worked past her suicidal ideation by actually dying, allowing herself to be murdered, and then being brought back, so she could be like "Hmm.
