Why does everyone hate on Rescue Riders. Like. I just rewatched it after finishing RTTE and it's cool! I realize it's a bit childish and all but like- there's a not-quite-subtle movie reference in the Golden Dragon special and the songs in the Songwing special are actually so good. Stop hating this show just because it's for kids, it has a lot to offer!!!

Happy birthday to me🎉
I was watching this show a couple of days ago with my little brother and I loved the thought of these two shippering. A harsh, mischievous old dragon and an artistic, extravagant Melodia. I think I like it!
The background of events is as follows: some viking hunters arrived on Grumblegard's island, from whom the Melodia saved his adopted children. While he drove rest of the people away. Unfortunately, the Songwing fell into a trap, but earned right to spend a night with Grumblegard and his children in the same cave.
- Umm.. this is..
- A Dragonbush from the south slope, yes. This viking's weapons make your wounds fester badly and quickly, so I suggest you start treating yourself sooner. Otherwise you'll soon be of no interest to anyone but scavengers.
- Thanks to you, we'll sleep in peace for a few more nights.
- Feel better, nightingale.
- All right, I'd teach an ADULT Songwing how to walk, but I say no. Keep watching over them until I get back.
- W-Wait!
- What about gratitude? Thank you.~

Random unimportant updates:
Idk about any art projects I plan on doing fully atm, so I’m just doing whatever rn lol.
1,
I’ve been procrastinating on my Talltale lore ngl… But I think it mostly just has to do with the fact I’m REWORDING my lore and not actually adding anything new as of now. That and I’m pretty sure it also have to do with the fact I’ve accepted that, because Talltale is still a WIP, many areas and parts of the story have plot holes, big conveniences, and rushed stuff.
Thing is, I feel like the most important characters of the AU, (Frisk, CC, Gaster, Crimson, and Asriel) are fine… but the OTHER characters (the side characters) such as MK, GK, Undyne, Sans, Papyrus, Alphys, Mettaton, Toriel, Asgore, etc. are very rushed rn and I'm struggling REALLY hard to make them, their struggles, personality, relationships, and their roles well written and believable

Taking a break from the Oddworld Chibis for now. (page 1 is done and I’m just starting the lineart for page 2!)

Currently right now, I’m going over my HTTYD Rescue Rider’s Relentless Rainbowhorn Redesign!
I don’t wanna spoil it, but for now, I’m giving it a sorta light navy and light yellow color instead of the original’s color scheme! Mostly because, while it COULD work, the shades of pink and yellow mixed with the white just made it look ugly lol

Here's the thing; I am watching httyd I'm chronological order and I decided that I will (oh no) watch The Nine Realms after I finish THW. That being said
I know that would be AFTER everything as that series is... You know, Rescue Riders. So, yeah, I want to know if I should actually watch it or end in T9R.

honestly? the voice acting in this show is good. it's predictable, it's nothing special, but it's not hard to listen to by any means and each voice suits the characters to a t (probably becahse they're as cookie cutter as anything but who cares). voice acting good

okay can i be honest? im actually really enjoying watching this show like no joke. like yes it relies on the original series in order to be as good as it is but there are plenty of things i find enjoyable about it. i like the animation and even tho the rendering is super plasticy and polished i kind of like that? it's nostalgic.
favourite character: aggro i love her so much but honestly i love all the main dragons they are so sweet all of them
least favourite character: elbone specifically because his naïvety annoys me but he was intended by the writers to be ever so slightly annoying so that's actually a plus in my eyes
