Officially letting this blog die! (It’ll still be here as an archive, but no new art. I’m very grateful for the friends I’ve made because of this blog and I’ll always be fond of the time I had here)
I’m at a point in my life where I no longer wish to be associated with this username or two of the fandoms I used to draw for. It’s been great for my journey as an ever evolving artist, but it’s time to move on.

Hi! Unfortunately, my commissions are closed. I need to edit my blog description so it officially says closed. At the time I didn’t know I would have a steady income so I left my comms open, but now that my income is okay comms are for sure closed. got tired of not having a pinned about me post so here we go (may update as time goes on)
Feel free to call me A, Ace, or Aceveria. I’m a 21+ queer artist of color. My pronouns are they/them. And just as my url suggests, I am asexual. Not looking to label anything else about me except that and my pronouns.
This is a side blog where I post fanart and occasionally reblog art-related posts. I draw on a Wacom Cintiq and use Medibang (it’s free!)
I have a twitter but I rarely use it and I only use it for one ship from v*ltr*n so tread with caution
I used to be known for drawing HP ships but I’m distancing myself because I don’t have good associations with it anymore. Recently I’ve been drawing more anime fanart, mostly early 2000s shoujo.
As of 10/6/2021 I haven’t been very active due to some personal reasons. (CW for the linked post: Cancer is mentioned. Not in much detail but I figured I’d put a warning anyway.)

with the tags and search officially being completely broken on all platforms (no new posts are showing up in them anymore), now feels like a good time to remind everyone that the only way to help creators is to reblog their stuff. even before the tags were busted most people found new creators through their content being rebloged onto their dash, and now, at least for the time being, that will be the Only way to find and spread things.
Fast reblog is a thing, you dont have to leave comments, you dont have to leave tags, just reblog stuff if you want to keep seeing new content being posted to this site.
and as a final note, with this change likes are officially completely pointless for content creators. up till now they served to boost a posts placement in the tag searches (a post tagged #girl with 40 likes would show up higher in the search than a post tagged #girl with only 10 likes,)

note that if you send donations on paypal as “payment for a service” paypal will ask the person you sent it to for business tax forms later on and will freeze their account if they dont provide them!!

Pansy's Pickle
“Babe, have you seen the Pickle?”
“For the love of Merlin, will you please stop calling it that?”
“What’s the Pickle?”
“None of your concern, Potter,” Parkinson snarls, which makes Harry almost jump out of his seat. Man, this woman still scares him sometimes. Most of the time, actually. Pretty much all the time. He has no idea how Ginny feels safe living with her.
“Aww, don’t pout, babe. I just want to find the Pickle so we can—”
“Yes, I know what we do with it,” Parkinson barks back. “I would just appreciate it if you stopped referring to it as—”
“It does look like a pickle, though,” Ginny says with a shrug.
“What looks like a pickle?” Harry tries again, making sure not to make eye contact with Parkinson.
“Do you have any more wine?” Draco drawls. “The bottle is empty.”
“Already?” Parkinson raises an eyebrow. “You practically drank it by yourself. Greedy wanker.”
“All this talk about pickled vegetables got me thirsty.”
“For fuck’s sake—”
“Maybe we left it in the bathroom?” Ginny says absentmindedly.
“No, I already checked,” Parkinson replies.
“You eat pickles in the bathroom?” Harry asks, wrinkling his nose.
“I see Ginny has turned you into a savage,” Draco says disapprovingly.
“We’re not—”
“We really aren’t,” Ginny laughs. “The Pickle is—”
“None of their business,” Parkinson sniffs.
“Aww, babe, are you being shy? You’re usually not.”
“As if,” Parkinson snorts. “But they don’t need to know everything.”
“I’m your best friend,” Draco immediately pipes up. “I deserve to know everything.”
“Yeah,” Harry says, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
“We don’t ask you about your sex life, though,” Ginny points out.
“Sex life?” Harry asks, knowing full well he sounds far too scandalised.
“Your sex life involves pickles?” Draco says, making a face. “Maybe I don’t need to know everything after all.”
Harry frowns. “It didn’t involve pickles back when we were—”
“I remember now,” Ginny suddenly exclaims. “It’s on the roof!”
Something flickers across Parkinson’s face; Harry doesn’t really appreciate that expression.
“Ah, that’s right,” she smirks.
“I’ll be right back,” Ginny whispers and dashes out of the living room.
“What the hell are we even talking about?” Harry whines. “I don’t understand!”
“Merlin’s beard, calm your tits, Potter,” Parkinson says, rolling her eyes.
Seconds later, Ginny re-emerges, holding something long and green in her hand. “Got it!”
“That’s—” Harry swallows.
“Oh.” Draco stares.
“Yep.” Ginny nods.
“Dear Salazar.” Parkinson sighs.
After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, Draco clears his throat.
“You call your strap-on the Pickle? Why the fuck is it green anyway?”
“That’s—”
Before Parkinson can say any more, Ginny steps forward, brandishing the Pickle.
“I think it’s cute. Besides, it’s perfect for us. It’s Pansy’s Pickle.”
“Dear lord,” Draco groans.
Harry still just sits there with his mouth hanging open.
“So, now that we found the Pickle,” Ginny says, turning to Parkinson and wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.
“Aaaand that’s our cue,” Draco says, jumping out of his seat and grabbing Harry’s hand. “Wonderful evening, thanks for the wine. Ta!”
Harry stumbles as Draco drags him towards the fireplace. He briefly glances over his shoulder only to see Ginny grinning and waving at him with… Pansy’s Pickle.
“Hey Draco,” he hisses. “Maybe let’s not get burgers on our way home this time?”
“Why not, are you—” Draco breaks off and he seems to be looking at what Harry unfortunately just witnessed. “Oh, because of the—Yeah, maybe let’s not.”

Also, it looks like tags stick with the post no matter how many times it’s reblogged. Even if you don’t add tags at all, or if the post you saw had no tags, if the original post had a blocked tag, your reblog is blocked too.

I think it’s been a month or so since I last posted? Not sure, I haven’t been checking this blog.. I already notified Patrons about my inactivity but I haven’t felt ready to talk about it here. I still don’t know if I’m ready or if I even want to, but I think it’d be a good heads up for any future Patrons or commission folks.
Why have I been inactive recently? Someone very important to me was diagnosed with cancer. It’s currently untreatable and cannot be cured. I love this person more than life itself. I’m still processing this and I don’t know if or when I’ll come to terms with it. (I don’t want to say anything more about this publicly, please respect this decision)
What does this mean for Patreon and commissions? Both are still open. Commissions are operating as usual, though at a slower pace. Patreon family already knows what’s been going on. For any potentially new Patrons, that platform is (at present) more of a way to support me in general. I hope to return to updating there soon, but I can’t say for sure when that will be.
Thank you all for supporting my art, I can never express how much it means to me. Please contact me if you have any art related questions and I’ll respond as soon as I can.
