#regina as roni was something i loved it
Note
Okay now I have to ask, from that list I made or absolutely any other ideas, so you have any thoughts on crossovers between our ocs? 🥺
Omg! Hold onto your hat! This is gonna get weird!
Roni Tanner
Mia Queen- I feel like they could develop like kind of a sister-y relationship when the Gambit goes down since Oliver is kind of the brother Roni never had and she feels a duty to look out for his kid sisters.
Rose Smythe
Annika Webster- I see potential for superhero girl shenanigans! And also meddling and matchmaking attempts!
Kelsey Doyle- they seem to have similar vibes and I feel like they would be wonderfully chaotic together!
Kris Smythe
Sadie Maddox- I think these two could get along and maybe cause a little trouble together
Carli Tanner
Ophelia Wayne- she seems like exactly the kind of boss bitch Carli would love to have in her corner
Ruby Fitzherbert
Finley Rider- I feel like we could play up the angst with this. Sisters separated by circumstance and whatnot
Piper Pan
Finley Rider- I also see a lot of potential for mischief and shenanigans here
Winnie Pan- another possible awesome sister duo! I see a lot of adventure potential with these two
Regina Grimhilde
Violet Kingsleigh- I feel like these two could have similar paths of being sent to Auradon with ulterior motives then (presumably) realizing things aren't what they've always thought
Bobbi LaCosta
Jane Forester- I see a whole"best friend's brother" situation developing with them and Dean
Charlotte Howard-Danes- I'm seeing bonding over dancing and flighty absent moms!
Sam Gleason- with the way Miss Patty kind of mothers Kirk, I assume she does something similar with Sam. I see that leading to a sister/bestie bond
Lila Lupin
Gemini Black- I think these two could have a very interesting friendship. Their personalities seem like they would compliment each other will
Athena Prewett
Bobbie Fortescue- This could be an interesting pair. Both war orphans (well half orphan on Athena's side), both cousins of people directly In The Drama, both separated from their families by their sorting. I see kindred spirits here
Phoenix Dumbledore- I just wanna see what these two would get up to since the Beauxbatons stayed with the ravenclaws.
Venus Malfoy- Athena would be the friend supporting her to rebel against her parents.
Stella Knight
Atalanta Jackson- As the two girls closest to Jason I feel they're constantly tag teaming to keep him alive 🤣
Cassandra Aelius- People think Stella's kind of crazy for trying to tell the future using the stars so I feel like she would at least listen to her prophecies even if she doesn't always believe them
Alexa Cantwood
Crystal Solace- I feel like we've discussed these two before and I still want them to be besties
Elyana Chase- we're always here for half sister adventures!
Stella Beauregard- I think that these two would be friends. I also think Stella would see Alexa and Lucian and be like "Ugh you guys are disgusting" because that's how cute they are
Victoria Blofis- She seems so chill and I think that could have that kind of friendship you can only have with people you've known through all your awkward phases.
Gwen Macintosh
Brandy Hayes- I'm seeing these two being like parallel "one girl field agent" type of friends who can bond by laughing at/bitching about their teams together
Xenia Hart- I'm guessing she's Harry's daughter so I see them being best friends since babyhood and the ultimate agent team when their grown up. We'd either have to give one of them a new codename or we could play with the hilarity of two Guinevere's on top of the two galahads
Rikki Lane
Chloe Grace Routledge- I see these two acting as literally ALL of John B's impulse control.
Cody Maybank- These two and Kie would be terrifying together. I can already tell. I don't know why though.
Jo Clark- Rikki would totally be sympathetic to Jo running to the Cut to get away from her problems. They would bond over being kook defectors and Rikki would offer to let Jo stay with her or borrow clothes or anything
Sharon Henderson
Beth Munson (Thompson?)- I feel like Sharon would be like the Dustin to Nancy, Beth, and Barb's Mike Lucas and Will. The one who joined the squad late (sixth grade) but blended in flawlessly
Cara Henderson- can you say ultimate big sister duo? From what I can tell, Cara would be the athletic sister to Sharon's need sister and I love that!
Samantha Mayfield- They would totally team up to kick monster ass.
Sidney Hopper- These two and Jonathan would have totally been like the three musketeers growing up so I could see a besties turned worst enemies and back progression with them.
Stacy Byers- Similar to Sidney, I'm seeing a "sisters in all but blood" situation
Roxy Winchester
Ainsley Winchester- Roxy always wanted a sister so I think she would love Ainsley. I can see them trying to be the peacekeepers of the family and rolling their eyes at the boys constantly.
Deborah Winchester- these two would have either been best friends or constantly at each other's throats after John found Roxy. Either way, I think they would have loved each other. I could see them being a formidable hunting team to rival their brothers.
Elle Winchester- the adopted sisters with the secret pasts? I love it!!! Potential for lots of drama and shocking reveals!
Esther Cott- I'm not sure exactly what these two would do together but I feel like they would make interesting friends
Drea Jones
Ana Andrews- Total parallels for their brothers. They have the brain cells. Do not get paid enough for this shit.
Charlotte Jones- The female role model Drea needs in her life. Sister Bonding (TM). Will fuck you up.
Delaney Carlyle- Chaos. All the chaos. I like it!
Fallon Parris Jones- You know that part in The Parent Trap between Annie and Hallie realizing they're twins and the end of camp? I feel like that's these two when Fallon comes back to Riverdale
Harper Harrison- These two would be great friends. Drea is totally the kind of friend to learn sign language along with Harper so they can talk shit about people without anybody knowing. Also was Riverdale High Drama Department's designated choreographer, she would talk about musicals all day with her
Kris Keller- As Kevin's best friend, I could see Drea becoming a regular fixture in the Keller household to the point where Tom will walk into one of the twins' rooms to find Drea sprawled on the floor with her sketchbook and just be like "yeah sure why not?"
Lyra Lovell- Creative dancer girls!!! Will spill blood for Jughead Jones. Exhausted by Gladys Jones.
Tanya Conway- As someone who loves a good mystery and, thanks to Archie, never really believed Svenson was the Black Hood, dress would totally help Tanya prove her dad's innocence.
Roni Stark
Alessia Stark- We could do some interesting things here with both of them having the serum used on them. Plus I've never considered Roni having a big sister. Could be fun!
Adelaide Stark- Roni would absolutely ADORE Adi! She'd be the cool aunt who took her on trips aunt bought her whatever she wanted. She'd also be the one to bake cookies and make pillow courts for movie marathons.
Aris Stark-- Much like with Adi, Roni would be Aris's ultimate supporter growing up. When the boys go to space and the girls are left behind, Roni tries to guide Aris through developing unexpected superpowers. She's been there herself so she should be able to handle it, right?
Athena Stark- Ultimate Aunt Roni would help her ambitious niece get anything her little heart desired
Ava Potts- Ava describing Roni "my aunt who's not really my aunt bursts into flames. Sure why not?"
Cora (& Orion) Royce- Roni would totally love this little girl and her determination to help protect her family. She'd do everything she could to help her
Zora Wright- I could see these two being great friends
Cora Hargreeves
Alice Hargreeves- Cora likes to think she was the empathetic sibling growing up. She tried to include Viktor as much as possible and would have treated Alice no different. When they grow up and find themselves the most stable of their family, they're have to be the brain cells to help keep everyone focused to stop the apocalypse
Andromeda Hargreeves- Cora would try to help Andromeda develop her powers by levitating small objects around her for her to try to catch. She doesn't blame her for leaving and welcomes her home
Audrey- They would totally bond over music and being the "artsy" siblings
Cassie Hargreeves- Oh this could be fun! Cora's psychic but she has a lot of trouble with that part of her powers do when cause around he uses Cora more for her telekinesis. Then when caddies gone he would push her more to have visions.
Cleo Sullivan- Anyone who can work with Diego on a regular basis and not kill him is immediately a friend of Cora's. She'd be glad to have another girl around who knows how to fight
Kamaria Hargreeves- We love a long lost sister in this house! I see a lot of room for shenanigans here
Max Carmichael- Cora would either love Max or she would annoy the hell out of her. I'm not sure which. Maybe both
Mira Hargreeves- "My thirteen year old brother and his eighteen year old daughter just fell through a time portal to stop the apocalypse. Sounds about right." -Cora Hargreeves
Mireille Labonair- Cora would probably be wary of anyone who agreed to work with her father but once she got past that, she'd love that Luther had someone who made him happy
Odessa Hargreeves- Cora would hate having her sister resent their family but she wouldn't her.
Poppy- Cora would love Poppy! She adores Grace so having a sister like her would be awesome. When they grow up she would love getting to finally show her the world!
Sierra Nearing- Cora actually works at Griddy's after leaving the Academy. Sierra would probably be her first real friends and I love that! Cora would show her all the sculptures she works on when she's not at the diner. Curiously, her shifts never line up with her siblings' visits so she still doesn't know Sierra knows them beyond what's she's told her. Even Diego and Klaus who she actually sees regularly.
Vienna Montgomery- As Diego's designated favorite sibling, Cora would have met Vienna and immediately love her. They would be great friends and cora would only be mildly surprised but not unhappy when Vienna shows up to the funeral.
Virginia West- Cora would absolutely love Ginny! Books are some of her favorite things and watching Ginny literally bring stories to life would be like magic to her.
Wilhelmina Hargreeves- Cora might resent Willa a little bit for leaving, but she still loves her and understands why she did it. When she comes back for the funeral, Cora is glad to see Willa just like all the others.
Mickey Daniels (& Melissa van Aren, Emily Kirkpatrick, and Amy Turner)
Alyssa Solomon- If there's one thing Mickey Daniels loves, it's a challenge. Befriending Alyssa Solomon has proven to be one of the bigger challenges Mickey's encountered. The girl has secrets on top of secrets. Lucky for Mickey, secrets are her chosen trade.
Annalise Goode- Mickey's part of the welcome committee for new students so she'd be totally excited to meet Annalise! I could see them being like workout partners and training together
Leia Gallagher- Mickey would think it's so coul that Latoya is a direct descendant of Gilly! They'd probably spend a lot of time talking about places they've travelled and having parental figures who are always away.
Sami Upton
Abbie Hudson- These two would totally have been best friends growing up! They would have spent all their time practicing gymnastics moves and driving Finn and Noah crazy. They probably would have decided to join Glee together just to try it and both fell in love with it.
Christina Hummel- Sami doesn't agree with the way the football team treats the Hummel twins. She also doesn't do much to interfere for fear of losing her own social standing. As an original Glee member, she's been friends with Kurt and at least frenemies with Christina since freshman year.
Joy Schuester- Sami would totally be the friend Joy would look at when Will does something crazy/stupid/embarrassing like "Do you see what I have to deal with???" Only for Sami to sheriff and start laughing like "I'm sorry I can't help you, but this is hilarious."
Kendall Pierce- Sami would love Kendall because she too would see no reason to choose between cheer and Glee. I could see them being kind of a mirror for Quinn and Britt
Ok finally done!!! Wow that was a lot.

I really want to roleplay and I want something that would be faster and easier formatting-wise than Tumblr atm, so DM me if you're up for writing Rumbelle (I'd love to explore any/all variations of Rumbelle: them in Storybrooke and in the Enchanted Forest, both at various points in canon and AU, Gold x Lacey, Weaver x Belle in an AU where she didn't die and was cursed with everyone else, Weaver x Lacey...), Rushbelle, GoldenQueen (once again, I'd love to explore different variations here — Rumple x the Evil Queen, imp!Rumple x Regina, Gold x Regina etc — but atm I'm a bit hyperfixated on Weaver x Roni) or Nicholas Rush x Amanda Perry on Discord with me!)
In each couple I can write both Rumple/Nick or Belle/Regina.
I usually write in para/multi-para but size doesn't mean much to me as long as there's enough material to build a reply off and, though I know that we all are busy in real life, I'd like to write, ideally, every day or, at least, every other way (writing isa great distraction from the stressful situations in life, after all).

Fanfic Self Promo: KnightRook
I decided to make a few self-promo posts on my older fics, starting with the ones centered on KnightRook! All are short one shots or drabbles, but they’re worth a little promo after all this time. They’re in a list of older ones first.
Tumblr media
~
Missing Knight | T, 2.4k words, written 16 Oct 2017 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Speculative fic about Detective Rogers meeting the girl who, unbeknownst to him, is his own daughter.
I wrote this a little after 7x02 aired, before we knew anything more about Killian’s daughter. I was completely off with it, but I’m still quite happy with it.
~
A Young Tempest | G, 1.3k words, written 20 Oct 2017 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Killian Jones raises his daughter and learns things along with her.
Another speculative fic about Killian’s history with his daughter. Once again, completely off, but it’s one of my favourite stuff I’ve written.
~
A Song for Goodnight | G, 1.8k words, written 28 Nov 2017 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Alice Jones I sings a lullaby to her son. A long time later, Killian Jones sings the same lullaby to his daughter. Warnings: Canon character death in the past.
I have feels about Killian singing his mother’s lullaby to his daughter. Some of these made it into this fic.
~
Untitled ficlet of Killian thinking about the white elephant he gave Ella | Tumblr link
~
A Family by Choice | G, 3.3k words, written 04 Feb 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: The curse is broken, everyone’s memories are back, and Roni with Weaver find a way to remove the poison from Rogers’ heart. But it’s not easy nor perfectly safe, and it might just as well pull that family apart again rather than bring it back together.
This one is a little sad, as usual with me. But again, lots of feels.
~
The First Rain | G, 590 words, written 25 Mar 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Alice is finally free and gets to explore how being under the rain feels.
This one includes only Alice, but it’s got a lot of focus on KnightRook. (If you thought you’d find happy stuff on my fic, you thought wrong. KnightRook was brimming with angst and I milked the hecc out of it)
~
Mother’s Day | G, 650 words, written 14 May 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Modern AU. Alice makes something for her papa for Mother's Day.
I felt that Killian deserved a little more love and appreciation for raising such a kind human as Alice all on his own. Father’s day doesn’t get as much appreciation as Mother’s day, especially considering it’s usually after school starts summer break. So I felt that in a modern setting, Alice would choose to celebrate her father and their love for each other on Mother's Day at some point.
~
Poor Old Man | G, 530 words, written 12 Mar 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: While in the tower, Killian realizes he's growing old. But not alone.
There’s a sea shanty with the same name, but only the title has a reference to the story. I just thought that it would be interesting to see Killian, who’d spent his centuries in Neverland not expecting to survive his revenge mission, realize that he’s not only actually growing old, but that he’s also got someone to love and love him back as he does.
~
Sad drabble of “What if Killian hadn’t managed to save Alice from being pulled into her worst nightmare in the finale?” Like, really sad. | Tumblr link
~
Sad Old Hook drabble in direct response to the fic above, because he did end up old and alone. Be sad with me, people. | Tumblr link
~
Marks | T, 1k words, written 15 June 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Little Alice wonders why she doesn’t have any marks on her back, like her papa does. Warnings: Mentions of past physical abuse of a teenager
If you know me, you know I headcanon Killian having multiple scars on his body, many particularly from the time he was a indentured servant as a kid/teen. Being the only one who Alice sees in her first years, she thinks that she’ll grow to have such marks on her body. This is a bit of a melancholic take on Killian trying to explain it to her.
~
Untitled ficlet about Old Hook “fusing” with OG Hook, becoming one with him. | Tumblr link
~
A New Experience | G, 1.3 words, written 19 July 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Killian makes a re-imagining of a storm in the tower for Alice.
Humans have more senses than vision. In this story, Killian does his best to create an experience for Alice by invoking her other senses. (Also nerding out for my music knowledge by adding an ocean drum)
~
Sad drabble about how Killian seeing his daughter pull away out of fear of hurting him sometimes hurts worse than the curse in his heart. | Tumblr link
~
Under the Weather | G, 2.2 words, written 12 Nov 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Young Alice gets very ill and Killian tries to help her.
Don’t let my habit for angst worry you, this has a happy ending. The medicine techniques are probably inaccurate, but I wanted to focus on a scenario of Killian trying to heal Alice with the very very limited sources he has.
~
Remembering Alice | G, 424 words, written 04 Dec 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: After Lucy's birth, Killian can't help feeling sad as he remembers how his daughter is forced to live away from him.
It is what it is. A short angsty thing. Only Killian appears here, but the focus is on KnightRook.
~
A Merry Little Christmas | G, 1.6 words, written 24 Dec 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: This year, Rogers and Tilly won’t spend Christmas Day on their own.
I don’t participate on Secret Santa and similar events, cause they stress me out over producing a specific kind of content at a specific time. However, all the love people gave to that year's KnightRook Secret Santa inspired me to write a kinda independent contribution, which came out as this. It may not be Christmas yet but the warm, fuzzy feelings are the same!
~
Untitled ficlet about re-awakened Killian thinking how his true self conflicted with Rogers’ memories and original goals. | Tumblr link
I barely remember writing this one, lol. I think, it may have started as a meta post, then it took a fanfic route on its own. Fics be doing that. I’ll probably post it on AO3 at some point, too.
~
Outward-Bound | T, 2.5 words, written 20 Mar 2019 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Old, dishevelled, broken-hearted Hook is drowning his sorrows in alcohol, when he happens upon a familiar face, someone he never imagined he’d see again. Warnings: Depiction of alcoholism
Oh, this be sad! Again, only Killian appears, but the KnightRook feels are prominent.
~
Sad (shocking, I know) drabble about Killian being taken away in the ambulance in 7x20 | Tumblr link
~
The Dreams That Won’t Come True | G, 2.1k words, written 14 Sep 2019 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: Killian and Alice find a way to be together through their dreams... but it doesn't end up being what they expected.
That made me sad. Almost made me cry when I first wrote it, and I’m very hard to cry.
~
Bonus Fics!
Untitled ficlet with Robyn and Killian; three moments between them | Tumblr link
~
Accepting Happiness | G, 1k words, written 26 Nov 2018 | AO3 link | Tumblr link Summary: A little after reuniting with Alice, Killian takes a moment to try and let everything sink in. Hooked Queen, open to your interpretation.
Some introspective thoughts on how Killian and Regina would feel, right after the climactic ending of the finale, the one set before the final scene. Only Killian and Regina appear, but KnightRook is in focus.

I've been thinking about writing a OUAT Red Queen AU band/rockstar fanfic. This is what I have so far:
-Regina is a drummer in a rock band, picture Roni from the last season, those arms in those tank tops need to be displayed in some sick drum solos (and tattoos and the curly hair and just, ugh, yes Roni aesthetic on this for sure)
-the music they make is similar to that of Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks/Heart (I’ve been listening to a lot of Women of Rock playlists on Spotify which is what lead me to this idea to begin with)
-I’m not entirely sure who else is in the band, but Emma is for sure, I’m thinking of having her on bass or guitar, perhaps both
-Snow and Red are for sure not in the band
-Snow is Emma’s cousin who has known the band since their conception and tries to go to every show in support. Red is her best friend who has been listening to Snow brag/gush about the band (name still in the works, Bloody Hearts? Magically Inclined? I’m open to suggestions), but has never seen a show or any of the other bandmates besides Emma, until Snow forces her to go to a show because 1. the more fans the better and 2. Snow thinks that Red will enjoy watching Regina play (more on that one later)
-Emma and Regina are best friends which is why they started a band together
-They have never dated, but they do still share Henry who tours with them with Belle his tutor. I have yet to decide how old Henry is
-Emma found herself pregnant and went to Regina, crying about how she couldn’t do it alone and Regina told her she would help her every step of the way. Regina is every bit Henry’s mother as Emma is. Both their names are on the birth certificate and both share legal custody of him. Emma is Ma and Regina is Mom/Mommy, both get called Momma depending on the situation. While they aren’t home often (which is why Henry goes with them), they do share a rather large house together.
-This is literally just two best friends raising a son together, no romantic entanglements (perhaps they tried in high school and it felt wrong? I do love Swan Queen, but that is not this story)
-Zelena is the manager of the band. She and Regina didn’t always get along, but they are thick as thieves now and Regina trusts Zelena with her life and her band (plus they co-own a bar on the side, because like I said, I lived for the Roni persona and I love Zelena and Regina and their sisterly dynamic)
-Regina is a classically trained musician (haven’t decided on the instrument, I’m leaning towards a string like violin), forced into performing by Cora for most of her youth until she found the strength to break away (with Zelena most likely). She still loved playing music, but wanted to play something she thought would annoy Cora and be far from her original instrument, so she picks the drums. Plus there is something equally defiant in playing something she’s not great at, at least at first
-also most regular people don’t even know the drummer in most bands and that adds a little bit of salt in Cora’s wounds that even if the band is successful, people wouldn’t readily recognize Regina walking down the street
-I imagine that Regina doesn’t do a lot of solo singing for the band, but she did write and perform “Uninvited Guest” by Disturbed in honor of her mother. Zelena helped of course #Millssisters
-Red is SMITTEN with Regina from the first song
-She wants to be annoyed that Snow was right, but she can’t be if she gets to meet Regina fucking Mills, a name she’s heard for years, but never had a face to connect it to until that show and goddamn what a face and arms and hair and the sweat on her skin and god that smirk
-Snow brings Red backstage to meet the band and oh god, there’s Regina, twirling a black drumstick effortlessly while laughing with another woman with vibrant red hair
-Emma is thrilled that Red finally made it to a show of theirs, sharing a grin with Snow and instantly Red knows, she KNOWS, that Emma knows that Red has fallen into lust (or love, could it be love at first sight she hasn’t even heard the woman talk, doesn’t even know anything about her other than the tidbits that she’s heard through the years and the fun facts Snow was peppering into her ear during the show) with Regina who is still crackling with the red head and spinning that damn stick with her fingers
-”Regina! You were magical as always” “Thank you dear” Red is going to need to buy new underwear at the rasp that came out of the drummer “Who’s your friend?” deep brown eyes catch Red’s and Red is gone, she’s lost in this woman and how can this even be, Regina doesn’t even know her name! “Ruby Lucas! But everyone calls her Red.” “Ah, yes, the best friend I’ve heard so much about. Nice to finally meet the famous Red”
.
.
.
Basically that’s kind of what I have worked out, I’m still debating on writing this. Would anyone be interesting in reading it? Not that the answer changes literally anything, it will happen or it won’t, but I’d still like to know.

(Banner by the lovely @desperatemurph!)
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8
Read it on AO3
A/N: I apologize for the long delay with this one. But I have an idea of where things are going and should be able to finish this thing up eventually. No smut in this chapter. It’ll happen eventually. This is mostly fluff.
*
It was still early, a little past dinner time, and Roni’s was only half full, a few tables nursing beers and burgers. Henry was seated on one end of the bar, his head together with Regina clearly discussing something. Rumple narrowed his eyes at them. He hadn’t seen much of Henry since their disastrous run in at Lucy’s recital, the same day Weaver had met Isabelle. Rumple had been so concerned with his wife and child he’d neglected his other family members. He at least owed Henry an apology for the black eye he’d given him. His grandson was separated from his wife and child too, even though he didn’t realize it yet. He wondered what Regina was doing about it.
She caught his eye as he approached the bar, her eyes rolling slightly as she patted Henry on the arm, nodding in Weaver’s direction that she had a customer before heading his way.
“What are you doing here?” she asked, thunking a glass down in front of him and filling it with Weaver’s favorite whisky. “I don’t usually see you on weekends.”
He ignored the drink.
“Who’s Nick Branson?” he demanded
Roni looked up at him, her mouth gaping.
“What do you mean?”
“Cut the crap, Regina,” he said, settling on a bar stool in front of her. “You know I’m awake. I know you’re awake. We’re always awake. So who is he? In our world?”
Regina gave a little shake of her head, a small smile crossing her face.
“Good to have you back,” she said. “What did it?”
Rumple rolled his eyes.
“Gunshot wound to the chest,” he said succinctly. “Would have killed a mortal man, but lucky for me I’m cursed. You?”
Regina’s smile faltered slightly.
“Oh you know me,” she said with a shrug of her shoulder. “Always a contingency plan.”
Rumple narrowed his eyes. She was clearly lying but he didn’t much care why at the moment.
“Nick Branson,” he said again, jabbing his pointer finger into the bar for emphasis.
Regina glanced down at Henry at the end of the bar before angling herself away from him, turned toward Weaver as she leaned against the bar.
“Jack,” she said finally, her voice low. “Of the beanstalk Jacks. He was Henry’s closest friend in the other Enchanted Forest. How did your paths never cross?”
“We weren’t there all that long,” Rumple said with a shrug. “Is he anyone I should worry about?”
Regina shook her head. “No,” she said, leaning back and bracing her hands against the bar. “He’s a good guy, always helpful. I can’t speak for his cursed persona, of course, but they tend not to be too far off.”
Rumple snorted, giving Roni’s ripped Def Leppard t-shirt a once over. Regina rolled her eyes.
“Oh this,” she said, plucking at her shirt. “This is just petty revenge. Obviously someone has it in for me. Roni has a shocking lack of clothing that isn’t leopard print and if I suddenly started wearing couture it would look a little strange.”
Rumple huffed a laugh.
“I know what you mean,” he said, motioning at his leather jacket and jeans. “Though I admit t-shirts are quite comfortable. I can see the appeal now.”
“Right?” Regina said, smacking her hand against the counter. “Why are you asking about Jack anyway? Or Nick as the case may be.”
Rumple finally reached out for the glass in front of him, taking a fortifying sip and enjoying the burn of the alcohol down his throat. He was lucky Weaver liked hard liquor. If he’d woken up to a persona that preferred appletinis he’s not sure he’d be able to stay in character.
“Apparently he’s Isabelle’s ex,” he said flatly, setting his glass back down on the bar.
Regina blinked.
“So Henry’s best friend is now dating his grandmother?” she said with a look of vague horror. “It’s a wonder that kid didn’t need more therapy.”
“Belle is not dating him,” he snapped. “She’s dating me. But he’s started slinking around lately and I wanted to know if he had ulterior motives.”
“Other than getting in Belle’s pants, probably not.”
Rumple glared at Regina and she let out a little laugh.
“I’m messing with you,” she said. “For what it’s worth, Isabelle is very into you. I don’t know what it is with every version of Belle falling for you. I almost feel sorry for the poor girl.”
“Wouldn’t know it,” he griped, taking a swig of whisky.
“She’s cursed!” Regina cried, throwing her hands up in the air. “I dealt with it for twenty-eight years. You were all bumbling around not knowing which way was up. It’s exhausting.”
“That was your happy ending, your majesty,” he said, not a little unkindly. “That one’s on you.”
Regina raised an eyebrow at him. “Do you really want to parse over whose fault that curse was?”
At the roll of Rumple’s eyes she continued.
“All I’m saying is you haven’t dealt with a cursed Belle before. It’s new to you.”
Rumple swallowed down a mouthful of liquor before leveling Regina with a look.
“Lacey,” he said flatly.
Regina’s brows drew together in confusion for a moment before the light bulb went off and she erupted into gales of laughter so loud they attracted Henry’s attention from the other end of the bar.
“I almost forgot about that!” she exclaimed.
“It wasn’t funny!”
“It was a little funny,” Regina countered. “Not my finest moment, to be sure, but in the grand scheme of things turning Belle into a Van Halen loving pool shark is not even in my top ten list of sins. Oh, God, she and Roni would have gotten along well.”
“Similar wardrobes,” he said and Regina cut a glare at him.
“Lacey’s mini skirts were for your benefit, old friend,” she said with a laugh. “I wanted you distracted and lo and behold it worked.”
She stopped for a moment, a thought seemingly striking her.
“What?” Rumple asked.
“Someone wants you distracted,” she said with a shake of her head. “This curse could have sent Belle anywhere but she’s across the street from your police station of all places? Whoever cast this curse knows you’d be awake. They want you preoccupied so you don’t see what’s really going on.”
“Who cast the curse?” he asked.
Regina gestured around at the bar. “You think I’d be here if I knew? I’d be off wringing some necks.”
“But you knew it was coming,” he accused. “You were the one who warned us.”
Regina sighed, crossing her arms against her chest as she leaned back against the bar.
“I knew Drizella wanted it cast and I knew she was angry and bitter enough to do it. I saw enough of myself in her to see that. But do you honestly think she’d have cursed herself to working for her mother? That’d make about as much sense as me making Cora mayor of Storybrooke and working as her secretary for twenty-eight years.”
“Perhaps that’s exactly what she’s banking on us thinking.”
Regina fixed him with a look.
“You’ve got Mommy abandoned me issues not Mommy was emotionally and verbally abusive for my entire childhood issues. Trust me on this one. Would you have brought Pan over in a curse?”
“Fair point,” he conceded. “I wish I could talk this over with Belle. She always offered a unique perspective on these things.”
“I know how you feel,” Regina said, glancing down the bar wistfully at Henry. “It’s hard when the people you love don’t even recognize you.”
Rumple finished his drink, sliding the empty glass back across the bar to Regina.
“Well,” he said, getting up from his stool as a gaggle of twenty somethings breezed loudly in to the bar. “Whoever cast this curse probably didn’t bet on this.”
“Bet on what?” Regina asked.
“The two of us being awake and our interests aligning,” he said. “How often has that happened? The Evil Queen and Rumplestiltskin working together.”
Regina gave a simpering fake smile.
“I’ve dropped the Evil thing you know?”
“Oh you’ll always be evil to me, dearie,” he said with a wink. He threw a few bills down on the bar to pay for his drink and turned to leave.
“You’re really going to be a team player this time?” Regina called after him.
Rumple glanced over his shoulder.
“As long as I need to be.”
*
By Monday, Isabelle was convinced she had ruined everything.
The whole situation with Weaver was far more complicated than it had seemed before the weekend. She wished she could go back a few days into the past, redo things. She’d have never cancelled their plans for the soccer game. She’d have sent Nick on his way after the diner and never let him strong-arm her into going Christmas tree shopping.
But Eli had been so thrilled to see his dad. And Nick had seemed like a completely different person than the last time she’d seen him. He was engaged, interested in Eli in the way she had always hoped for him to be. To her complete shock, Nick seemed serious this time. He wanted to be a dad, and she had to let him.
She just wished she had handled things better.
There was a large part of her that hoped Weaver would call her on Sunday to say their date was back on. He didn’t though, and she had to give him the space to think things over. He’d said he was all in, but she knew men didn’t always mean what they said. She’d spent Sunday night curled up on her couch in sweat pants instead of consummating her new relationship the way she’d hoped to.
In her confusion, she’d completely forgotten to let Roni know about her cancelled plans, and her friend had showed up at 7:30 ready to watch Eli for the night. When Isabelle had teared up while explaining what had happened, Roni had darted back down to the bar for a bottle of wine and they’d split the thing while watching Real Housewives in the den.
“Christ, what is wrong with me?” Isabelle moaned, swinging her wineglass around with little regard for the upholstery. “I can’t believe I screwed up this bad this early!”
“Honestly?” Roni said, giving her a once over. “I think you need to get laid.”
Isabelle sat forward on the sofa, setting her glass down on the coffee table.
“And you think Weaver is the man for that job?” she asked skeptically.
Roni shrugged. “I think he’s the man you want for that job. And anyway who am I to judge anyone’s taste in men. The only man I ever really loved was a thief who slept rough in the forest more often than not.”
Isabelle snorted, her eyes widening.
“What?” Roni said, taking a sip of her wine. “There are things you don’t know about me.”
Isabelle shook her head, trying and failing to picture Roni with a homeless thief.
“Yeah, well, homeless men notwithstanding, I don’t even know what to say to him. Like I had plans for tonight and now that it didn’t happen, I don’t know how to go about it.”
Roni finished her wine, setting her empty glass down next to Isabelle’s.
“Slap on a push up bra, walk up to him and say ‘hey, wanna fuck?’”
Isabelle snorted and Roni just shrugged.
“It’s always worked for me.”
Isabelle shook her head. “That’s not me,” she said with a sigh. “I don’t know. It feels like there’s all this pressure now. It needs to be organic but I feel like we’re going to miss a window or something and it’ll never happen.”
“For what it’s worth, I don’t think you have to do any convincing,” Roni said. “The guy is crazy about you.”
Isabelle bit her lip, worrying the skin with her teeth. “You didn’t see him last night,” she said. “He was angry with me. Disappointed.”
“Maybe he was just surprised,” Roni said. “I’m sure now that he’s had time to cool down everything will be fine.”
“Or I completely ruined a good thing.”
Roni rolled her head back against the couch cushions, letting out a frustrated groan.
“God you two are exhausting!” she exclaimed. “Go kiss him or fuck him or propose marriage to him. I don’t care. But I had to hear him mope about you yesterday and now this! I know more about your relationship than you do!”
“Weaver talked to you about me?” Isabelle said, surprised. “I didn’t think you two were that close.”
Roni huffed. “Well, we’ve recently found some common ground,” she said. “But look, I need Weaver in top form and as long as he’s worried about you that’s not going to happen.”
“Top form for what?” Isabelle asked, her eyes narrowing.
Roni sat up, shrugging her shoulders. “Keeping the streets of Hyperion Heights safe of course. Don’t need him getting shot again, do we?”
Isabelle could at least agree with that and so Monday morning she’d shot Weaver a text asking him to meet her at the studio after work. She had a late class on Monday evenings, an advanced class of 8th to 12th graders who she struggled to keep up with nowadays. She was usually exhausted by 8:00, but she already had a sitter for Eli on Mondays and it was as good a time as any to talk.
The building was quiet after her students had left, the faint sounds of the city from beneath her window the only sound in the otherwise still studio. Isabelle felt tense, unsure if Weaver would show or not and what she would say to him if he did. He’d texted back that he’d stop by when his shift ended but she wasn’t entirely sure when that was and she didn’t want to seem nagging by asking him to pin down a time.
Instead she went to the barre, going through the motions of stretching. She rarely had the chance to dance by herself, always in a rush to get home to Eli after class.
First position, élevé, plié, second position, grand plié, she lost herself in the motions. She had her right leg raised up on the barre, going down into a demi plié before adjusting to an arabesque, when she realized she was not alone anymore.
“Well, Miss Schwartz, you’re certainly very limber.”
Isabelle jumped, her leg dropping from the barre as she noticed Weaver in the doorway.
“Jacob,” she said with a sigh of relief, laying a hand against her chest. “How long have you been there?”
There was a smirk playing on his lips, his eyes sliding over her in a way that made gooseflesh rise on her arms. She was dressed simply, in a tank top and workout leggings, certainly nothing special, but the way Weaver was looking at her was borderline obscene.
“Long enough to enjoy the view. That wasn’t for my benefit then?” he said with a grin. Isabelle rolled her eyes.
“No,” she said, crossing her arms against her chest. “I really was stretching. I like having the studio to myself at night. To dance with no one watching.”
Weaver motioned at her.
“Then by all means, don’t stop on my account.”
Isabelle’s arms tightened around her midsection. “What about the no one watching part?” she asked.
Weaver crossed the room to where a few folding chairs sat, plopping down in one and motioning across his lips as if he was zipping them closed.
“I won’t make a sound,” he said. “You won’t even remember I’m here.”
Isabelle smiled a little nervously, twisting her hands together for a minute.
“Okay,” she said finally. She had invited him over to talk, perhaps reach an understanding after the events of the weekend. But if he wanted to see her dance, who was she to say no? It was her job after all. She’d danced for audiences of thousands. Somehow this felt more nerve wracking.
There was a stereo at the end of the barre, next to the mirrored wall, and Isabelle stepped over to it, flipping it on. The strains of something pretty and instrumental filled the room and she took her place in the middle of the room in first position, butterflies flapping around in her stomach. Her arms arced out gracefully as she began to move, going up on her toes and spinning around in ways that made Weaver dizzy just to watch. He knew next to nothing about ballet, but even his untrained eye could tell that Isabelle was talented. She did an artful little spin, stopping with her leg extended out behind her, her body not betraying the slightest tremble, before dropping in to a bow. Then she stood back up, slightly out of breath and flushed from the exercise.
“Wow,” Weaver said when she was finished. “Where did you learn to do that?”
Isabelle huffed, pushing her hair out of her face.
“I’ve been dancing since the age of 2,” she said, retrieving a water bottle from her bag and taking a long swig. “That was the result of a lifetime of study.”
“Very impressive,” he said with a nod, getting up from the folding chair. “You dance beautifully.”
Isabelle flushed, pleased. Nick had always found her chosen passion boring, finding any reason to get out of going to one of her performances. Perhaps Jacob was just flattering her, but it was nice to feel appreciated all the same.
“Do you dance, Detective Weaver?” she asked, dropping her water bottle back into her bag and turning to face him.
Weaver chuckled, stepping closer to her.
“Oh not so well as you, but it has been known to happen.”
“Really?” she asked with an inquisitive brow. “I have to say, I can’t picture that.”
“I’ve never tried ballet,” he admitted with a lopsided grin. “But I’ve waltzed a time or two.”
Isabelle snorted a laugh to distract herself from how close he was standing now. God, he smelled good.
The music was still playing, now something softer and slightly melancholy for piano and cello and Weaver offered her a hand.
“Shall we?” he asked.
“You want to dance with me?” she returned.
Weaver just nodded, his eyes locked on hers.
“I can honestly say that nothing would make me happier in this moment than to dance with you.”
Isabelle took his hand with a grin and he slipped his arm about her waist, pulling her against his chest, her right hand cradled in his left. They began to sway slowly to the music, turning together in small circles.
It was silent for a moment, just the sound of the music and their steps against the wooden floorboards as they moved around the room together. He was a good dancer, Isabelle realized, light on his feet in a way she hadn’t expected. He twirled her around before dipping her back and they both laughed at the absurdity of it before he pulled her back up, her chest pressed against his. Her breath hitched at the look in his dark eyes as the smile slipped from his lips, full of unguarded wonder. No one had ever looked at her like that, not even Nick. She was overwhelmed for a moment by the sheer amount of love in that gaze. She didn’t deserve it.
Isabelle tucked her head against his chest instead, just under his chin and Weaver ran his hand up and down her back sending tingles down her spine. She shut her eyes, swaying to the music and trying not to think too hard about all the ways she could ruin this. They needed to talk, but for now, she just wanted to dance.
For once, she had a truly excellent partner.

Sins of the Past Pt.5
Tumblr media
Camelot. Past. Night. (An agitated Uther dines with Morgana.) Uther: “You seem troubled, Morgana. Is something wrong?” Morgana: “No, father. I’m sorry I’m not better company.” Uther: “I’m merely concerned for your welfare, that’s all.” Morgana: “Thank you, My Lord. All is well.” (Arthur enters.) Uther: “What news of the hunt for the Druid boy?” Arthur: “We have conducted an extensive search. The boy is nowhere to be found.” Uther: “You mean you failed to find him?” Arthur: “Perhaps he’s already left the city.” Uther: “You’re telling me that a wounded boy is able to evade the guards and escape the city? Nonsense, someone’s hiding him. I want him found.” Arthur: “He’s just a boy. What harm can he do?” Uther: “He is a Druid, and that makes him dangerous.” Morgana: “The Druids would see my father’s kingdom destroyed.” Uther: “Morgana is right. Double your efforts.” Arthur: “Yes, My Lord.” Uther: “Keep searching until you find him.” Morgana's Chambers. (With Mordred looking on, Morgana stands wearing Guinevere's clothes.) Morgana: (Sighs:) "It’ll have to do. (Turns to Mordred:) We’re going to get you out of Camelot. I won’t let anything bad happen to you. I promise. (Guinevere enters the room:) Did you get the keys?" Guinevere: "Yes. (Holds them up:) The door is behind the shield at the far end of the armoury. I'll prepare you some food and water for the journey." Morgana: "Thank you. I feel I’ve put you in danger without ever stopping to ask how you feel about it. I’m sorry." Guinevere: "I know how it feels to face the threat of execution. And I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Just be careful."
Tumblr media
Storybrooke. Present. The Dragon's Lair. (Henry stops by the former 'Roni's'.) Henry: (Leaning against the bar:) "Wow, I've never seen this place so busy." Robin: (Proudly:) "Yep, ever since we changed to a bar and restaurant - complete with theme nights - profits have been through the roof." Henry: "Maleficent must be thrilled." Robin: "Well you'd think so, but when Remy asked her to change the name to 'Le repaire du Dragon', the look she gave him..." Henry: "She's not a big fan of change, huh?" Robin: "No, but she can't argue with the results. I mean, no one was coming to this place when it was some sort of kinky sex dungeon anyway. Except your parents of course. (Henry winces:) Sorry." Henry: "Yeah. Can I get a refill please, I've got to get back out there." Robin: "Sure thing. (Takes Henry's coffee mug:) So, how was game night?" Henry: "Oh I told them I had to work. It just wouldn't have been the same without Ella there anyway." Robin: "Tell me about it. Between Emma and Regina, Snow and David and Robin Hood and my mom, I was kinda glad Mal wouldn't let me take the night off. I mean all that mushy love stuff can get a little..." Henry: "I know what you mean. (Taking his coffee:) Thanks, I'll see you later." Robin: "Cya." Dragon's Lair. Recent Past. 50's Night. (The bar has been turned into a retro 50's diner for the evening with the jukebox playing and people dancing. Sitting at the bar, Regina and Emma, dressed as 'Sandy and Danny' are in deep discussion.) Emma: "I don't know what to tell ya, we flipped a coin and I won." Regina: "But you're a natural blonde! It just makes more sense for you to be Sandy. Roni had just the right leather jacket for this." Emma: "Seriously, you want to talk to me about leather jackets? Besides, (Playing with 'Sandy's' scarf:) I kinda like you as a blonde." Regina: "Oh you do, do you?" Maleficent: (Standing behind the bar:) "Oh please." Emma: "Hey, can we get some shots?" Regina: "Shots? Are you trying to get me drunk?" Emma: "Haven't you seen the movie? It's my job to turn the good girl, bad." Maleficent: "Ugh. I'll be in my office." (Maleficent turns and walks down the hall and out of sight.) Emma: (Calling after her:) "What about our shots?" Regina: "Shh, I'll get them. (Regina stands and walks around the bar, picking up some glasses:) I did used to own the place after all."
Tumblr media
Emma: "What's up with Maleficent?" Regina: "Oh don't worry about her, it's probably a full moon." Emma: "That's Werewolves, not Dragons." Regina: (Pouring the shots:) "Look who knows so much all of a sudden. (They clink glasses and knock the shots back. With a grimace:) So, in this movie Sandy meets up with this Danny person and he's a bad influence?" Emma: "Well yeah, sorta. I mean how bad can anyone who bursts into song every five minutes really be?" Regina: "Oh, well there goes that idea." Emma: "What idea?" Regina: "I was just thinking we could watch it sometime, but you know how I feel about musicals." Emma: (Watching Regina pour another shot:) "You know we could go home, put it on and then not watch it together." Regina: "What would be the point in- (Sees the look on Emma's face:) Ah, I understand. (Picks up her shot:) Well then take me home, Big Bird." Emma: "I think you mean T-Bird. (They down their shots. Slamming the glass down on the bar:) Let's go, Sandra Dee." Camelot. Past. Morgana’s Chambers. (Morgana prepares to take the boy to safety when she sees the look on Guinevere’s face.) Morgana: “What is it? What’s wrong?” Guinevere: “You’re risking so much for this boy. Let me take him out of the castle.” Morgana: “No. It’s too dangerous. I’ll do it. If you are caught, Uther will execute you. The boy’s my responsibility.” Guinevere: “You don’t know anything about him.” Morgana: “There’s a bond between us.” Guinevere: "Stronger than the bond you have with Uther?" Morgana: “It’s like nothing I’ve ever felt before. Perhaps I was always meant to help him.” Guinevere: "How can that be?” Morgana: “I don’t know. I can’t explain it. (Guinevere sighs and shakes her head:) I must go." Guinevere: “Good luck.” (Guards march through the castle as Morgana peeks over the edge of the curved stairs and descends with Mordred. A serving girl sees them sneaking off through the corridor at the bottom of the spiral stairway. They sneak out through the door behind the shield in the armoury. Arthur enters the armoury with a guard.) Guard: “A servant saw someone entering. They had a boy with them.” (Arthur sees the revealed door and checks his key ring, but the key is missing.) Arthur: “Sound the warning bell.” Guinevere’s House. Night. (Guinevere looks out the window while the warning bells sound. Morgana and Mordred enter.) Guinevere: “There’s enough food for three days. Your horse is fed and watered. I’ll take you to it.” Morgana: “No. There’s no point in all of us risking our lives.” Guinevere: “What about you?” Morgana: “I’m the King’s daughter. I’ll take my chances.” Guinevere: “Morgana!” Morgana: “I couldn’t live with myself if anything happened to you. We must go.” Lower Town. (Morgana and Mordred try to run, but Arthur and the guards approach through their exit. Morgana and Mordred hide in a nearby building. Arthur enters.) Arthur: “Fan out. (Morgana and Mordred make a break for it, but they run across a guard and Arthur blocks the other side of the path. Arthur draws his sword and places it at Morgana’s back:) Halt, or I’ll run you through. Show yourself.” (Morgana turns around. Arthur is shocked.) Morgana: “Let him go. I beg you. He’s just a child.” (Arthur considers his options, looking at the guards around him.) Arthur: (To the guards:) “Restrain them.”
Tumblr media
Wonderland. Present. (Ella and Will continue walking towards the Mad Hatter's house.) Ella: (Spotting it:) "Will. Over there! The Hatter's house. (Begins running:) Hurry!" Mad Hatter's House. (Ella opens the door and enters.) Ella: "Mother! (Dozens and dozens of hats are all that greet them:) I'm here!" Will: "Ella." Ella: "She must be here. It's too dark to tell, or maybe she's sleeping or something." Will: "Your Mother ain't here." Ella: "No, she must be here." Will: "Ella. (Ella starts looking through all the hats, desperately:) Ella. I'm sorry. But she's not. And as far as I can tell, she never was. If she were, wouldn't she have shown herself by now?" Ella: "But she was here, I can sense it." Will: (As Ella leaves the house:) "Ella." (Walking outside, Ella closes her eyes for a moment, dejected. Opening her eyes again, she feels something.) Ella: "Will, come quickly! (Will exits the house:) My necklace. The one my parents each kept a piece of, look!" Will: (Stares at the necklace:) "It's glowing." Ella: "It's a sign! We were meant to come here. My mother was here, I knew it!" Will: "But she's not anymore. You said it yourself, this was your best chance at finding a clue as to where she went and there's nothing here." Ella: (Smiling:) "This isn't the time to be stubborn, Will. Look!" (Ella holds up the still glowing necklace.) Will: (Gently pushes it away:) "I'm not being stubborn." Ella: "Yes, you are. If you want to leave, leave. But I'm staying." Will: "Because of a necklace?" Ella: "Because she's here." Will: "But you have no proof." Ella: "When you really love someone, you don't need proof. You can feel it. She's here. I'm gonna find her. Now the only question is, are you coming with me?" Will: "I was afraid you were going to ask me that." Ella: "Is that a 'yes'?" Will: (Smiles, despite himself:) "Bloody hell. Come on then." (Replacing the glowing necklace, Ella wipes away her tears as she and Will continue their search, together.) Kingdom of Valencia. Catrina's Guest Chambers. (Kneeling on the floor of her room with Jonas, Catrina enchants a necklace with her blood.) Catrina: "Ic nemne þá grædige, yfele, formolsnung. mé getryme. Nu meaht þú begalan. Nu meaht þú begalan. (To Jonas:) Dinner time." (She cackles.)
Tumblr media
Gareth’s Chamber. (Gareth and Catrina have dinner together.) Catrina: “Isn’t this perfect? You and me together. A toast. A toast to us.” Gareth: “To us.” Catrina: “There’s something I want to give you. It belonged to my father, and his father before him.” Gareth: “Oh, My Lady, I couldn’t possibly…” Catrina: “No, no, no, I want you to have it. Perhaps when you look at it, it will remind you of me.” (She puts the enchanted necklace around Gareth’s neck.) Gareth: “I shall wear it always.” Catrina: “That is as well, for am I not beautiful, Gareth?” Gareth: “Oh, you are beautiful, My Lady.” Catrina: “Am I not your heart’s desire?” Gareth: “You are my heart’s desire.” Catrina: “Then seal it, Gareth. Seal it with a kiss.” Gareth: “Yes. A kiss.” (When they kiss, the enchantment is complete.) Camelot. Past. Council Chamber. (Morgana stands before Uther while Arthur watches on.) Uther: “All this time, you’ve been hiding the boy in my own palace. How could you betray me like this?” Morgana: “I would not see him executed. I did what I thought was right.” Uther: “You think it’s right to conspire with my enemies against me?” Morgana: “How can this child be your enemy? He’s just a boy.” Uther: “He is a Druid.” Morgana: “Is that such a crime?” Uther: “His kind would see me dead and this kingdom returned to anarchy and you would help them.” Morgana: “Then punish me… but spare the boy. I beg you.” Uther: (To Arthur:) “Make arrangements for the boy to be executed tomorrow morning.” Morgana: “No! Please. He’s done nothing.” Uther: “Let this be a lesson to you.” Morgana: “You don’t have to do this.” Uther: (To Arthur:) “Do you hear me? I want him executed at dawn.” Arthur: “Yes, My Lord.” Morgana: “What have these people done to you? Why are you so full of hate?” (Morgana marches towards Uther and grabs his arm. Uther grabs her throat and presses her against a chair back.) Uther: “Enough! I will not hear another word! Do not speak to me until you are ready to apologise for what you’ve done.” (Uther leaves, Arthur follows him.)
Tumblr media
That Night. Morgana’s Chambers. (A thunderstorm rages. Morgana stirs restlessly in her sleep and magically lights a candle by her bed.) Guinevere: (Entering the room:) “I brought you some extra blankets, I thought you might be cold… (Guinevere sees the lighted candle and blows it out, taking it over to the window. Morgana eyes flicker and magically she lights candle in her sleep again. Guinevere gasps, waking Morgana who’s eyes glow golden which causes the flame to burn higher, burning her curtains:) Morgana! Morgana, stop!” (Morgana screams, shattering the glass from her windows.) Storybrooke. Swan-Mills House. Present. (Regina sits reading in the living room when she hears Emma call out to her.) Emma: "Regina?" Regina: "In here. Did Maria go down okay?" Emma: "Of course, I'm the law in this town, so what Mama wants, Mama gets." (Glancing up from her book, Regina looks to see Emma stood leaning against the door frame. Wearing only a white bathrobe and with her hair done in a familiar fashion, Emma enjoys the smile that crosses her wife's face.) Regina: "Ooh, Mama like." Emma: (Smiles, walks further into the room:) "I thought a little role-reversal was called for. (Twirls the bathrobe tie in her hand:) So can Roni come out and play?" Regina: (Slamming the book closed:) "I think that can be arranged." Emma: (Winks:) "Then follow me." (Regina promptly stands and follows her wife. When Emma doesn't head for the stairs however, Regina stops.) Regina: "Where are you going?" Emma: (Continues walking:) "Well it's not quite Greased Lightning, but I think your Mercedes will be cosy enough. (Emma reaches the door to the garage across the hall. Looks over her shoulder:) Coming?"
Tumblr media
Regina: (Smirks:) "Do you want me to fetch my leather jacket?" Emma: "Oh no, I don't think that'll be necessary. After all... (Emma unties her robe and lets it drop to the floor at her feet:) You're already wearing far too much." (Without another word, Emma opens the door and enters the garage. Not needing to be asked twice, Regina kicks off her shoes and follows Emma into the garage, discarding her clothes as quickly as possible.) Camelot. Past. Morgana's Chambers. (Guinevere sits with Morgana, rocking her in her arms.) Morgana: "I’m scared, Guin. I don’t understand anything anymore." Guinevere: "You can trust me, Morgana. You know you can." Morgana: "It's magic, Guin." Guinevere: "Shh. You need your rest." Morgana: "You think it's magic too. (Pulling away to look at her:) Please, Guin, I just need to hear you say it."   Guinevere: (Strokes Morgana's face:) "I understand. I realise how frightening all this must be for you. Especially for you." Morgana: "Why especially for me?" Guinevere: "You’re the King’s daughter. You know his hatred of magic better than anyone." Morgana: "So you do think it was magic?" Guinevere: “I’m not saying that.” Morgana: “But it could be, couldn’t it?” Guinevere: “I really wouldn’t know, but there are people who do.” Morgana: “Who?” Guinevere: “What about the Druids? They help people like you.” Morgana: “None of their kind would dare show their face in Camelot.” Guinevere: “No. But I know where you can find them. You must go tonight with Arthur when he takes the druid boy out of the castle.” Morgana: “Arthur? He’s the one who turned me in.” Guinevere: “Yes and he regrets it. Arthur doesn’t wish to see the boy executed any more than we do.” Morgana: “And you trust him?” Guinevere: “Yes, I do.” Morgana: “But how would I leave the castle? My father-” Guinevere: “We must use what happened here tonight to our advantage. For the boy’s sake, and yours.” Labyrinth of Gedref. Present. (While Merida continues to navigate the labyrinth, Mulan meets Anhora.) Mulan: "You said Merida would face a test. And here you are, preparing a trap for her." Anhora: "The trap isn’t for Merida. It is for you. Gehæftan." (As a result of Anhora's spell, Mulan is wrapped in vines from the labyrinth walls.) Labyrinth of Gedref. Exit. (Merida runs through the labyrinth and finds the exit leading to the sea. Mulan is sitting at a table on the shore, Anhora standing nearby.) Merida: “Mulan?” Mulan: “I’m sorry.” Merida: “Let her go. I’ll take your test, but not till she’s released.” Anhora: “That is not possible. Mulan is part of the test. Please sit. (Merida doesn’t move:) If you refuse the test, you will have failed and Dun Broch will be destroyed.” Merida: (Sighs, taking a seat opposite Mulan:) “I thought I told you to stay away. (To Anhora:) Let’s get on with it.” Anhora: “There are two goblets before you. One of the goblets contains a deadly poison, the other goblet, a harmless liquid. All the liquid from both goblets must be drunk, but each of you may only drink from a single goblet.” Merida: “What kind of ridiculous test is that? What does that prove?” Anhora: “What it proves is for you to decide. If you pass the test, the curse will be lifted.” Mulan: “Let’s think about this. What if I drink from my goblet first?” Merida “If it’s poisoned, you’ll die.” Mulan: “And if it’s not, then you’ll have to drink from yours, and you’ll die. There must be a way around it.” Merida: “Well obviously one of us has to die. We have to find a way to determine which goblet has the poison. And then I’ll drink it.” Mulan: “I will be the one to drink it.” Merida: “This is my responsibility. I’m drinking it.” Mulan: “It is more important that you live. You’re the Queen.” Merida: “You’re already a hero, Mulan. There’s no need for you to be a martyr.” Mulan: (Sigh:) “What if I drink from mine first, and if that’s not poisoned, I will then drink yours?” Merida: “He said each of us is only allowed to drink from a single goblet. I had no idea you were so keen to die for me.” Mulan: “Trust me, I can hardly believe it myself.” Merida: (Snort:) “I’m glad you are here, Mulan.” Mulan: “I’ve got it. Right, we pour all the liquid into one goblet and then we can be sure it is poisoned. Then all the liquid can be drunk, and it will be from a single goblet.” Merida: “Brilliant. Look out!” (Merida points and Mulan looks. Merida takes the two goblets and pours all of the liquid into one of them, holding it to drink.) Mulan: “No! I will drink it!” Merida: “As if I’d let you.” Mulan: “You can’t die. This isn’t your destiny.” (Merida toasts Mulan then drinks it.) Mulan: “No! What have you done? (Merida falls off the chair, unconscious:) Merida! No! (Mulan tries to shake Merida awake:) Merida. Merida. Come on! Merida, come on. Come on. Come on! (Mulan turns to Anhora:) Please. Please! Just… let me take her place!” Anhora: “This was Merida’s test, not yours.” Mulan: “You’ve killed her!" Anhora: “She is not dead. She’s merely consumed a sleeping draught.” Mulan: “What?” Anhora: “I believe you have some experience with the poppy flower? (Mulan nods:) She will come round shortly.” Mulan: “I don’t understand?” Anhora: “A unicorn is pure of heart. If you kill one, you must make amends by proving that you also are pure of heart. Merida was willing to sacrifice her life to save yours. She has proven what is truly in her heart. The curse will be lifted.” (Mulan kneels down to check on Merida to find her breathing laboured. Concerned, Mulan picks up the goblet and inspects it.) Mulan: “This was not made with the poppy flower!” (Mulan reaches into the goblet and pulls out a petal.) Anhora: “That’s not possible, I poured the goblets myself earlier today.” Mulan: “Did you leave them unattended? (Anhora considers, then nods:) Then your test was sabotaged and that means that Merida really has been poisoned!”

If your still taking prompts, could I request a Season 7 AU where Emma and Lily were the got married in season 6? Maybe they go to help Henry and end up being cursed in Hyperion Heights.
Tumblr media
Lily sat next to Emma, who cuddled their granddaughter in her arms. Granddaughter. That sounded weird. She wasn't sure what she was to Henry. Step-mom sounded weird sometimes given how late she entered his life and how little parenting they actually did. She was more of a fun aunt at most. Someone he could turn to, to talk about everything Life was throwing at him with no judgement. After all, she had been there herself.
Now, he was no longer the awkward lanky kid she had met all those years ago. He was a grown man, married with a daughter. A couple of years ago he had sent word for Regina, Robin, Lily and Emma to help him in a time of crisis. What was supposed to be a quick mission, ended in a long term rebellion. They had decided their next big adventure would be helping Henry, Ella, Tiana and the rest battle the Tremaine family. Along the way, Henry fell in love, got married and welcomed a child of his own.
A little baby girl, wrapped in pink. She had Ella's coloring and dark eyes that were enamored on Emma. She wiggled fiercely, ready for her first adventure. Truly a Mills-Swan-Charming-Tremaine baby.
"Lucia Cecelia Mills," Emma whispered. "Perfect name for a perfect little girl."
"She's little but fierce."
Emma nodded. "Knowing her, she'll be sword fighting by age 5."
Lucy raises a fist in the air and Lily chuckled, stroking her knuckle. The three were alone, sitting on a log. Henry and Ella were resting, while Robin and Regina were meeting with Tiana and Hook to talk about Drizella's prophecy.
Lily winced at the thought. A beautiful day, that should've been filled with happiness and celebration was cut short when Drizella appeared announcing that on Lucy's 8th birthday, a curse would be set. It'd take over the kingdom and drag them all apart, once and for all. Emma had found a curse of her own right before Ella went into labor thanks to a brief truce with Tremaine and turned Drizella into a statue. Still, the prophecy hung heavy above their heads like a rain cloud about to drop at any minute.
"Drizella's not going to be able to hurt her now, is she?" Lily asked.
Emma gnawed on her lip, her eyes on the baby. "Of course not."
"Then why isn't everyone relieved?"
"Look, she's a statue, she can't hurt her now."
"But what if something happens, Emma? What if she isn't the only one?"
Emma looked up from the baby. She took hold of her wife's hand, clutching it tightly.
"We've defeated worse demons," Emma said. "I broke the first curse. No matter what happens, we will always find a way."
But even with a Snow White-esque hope speech on her wife's lips, Lily could hear the doubt in Emma's voice.
***********************
"Come on, Luna!" Lucy whines. "I'm going to be late."
Luna double checks the locks on her Jeep. "We're 15 minutes early, Luce."
"Still. Grandma will be mad if we're late."
Luna hides an eye roll, knowing the last thing she needs is for that to get back to Victoria Belfrey. Lucy wouldn't rat, but Belfrey has spies everywhere. Luna hates being a nanny but after her art gallery was shut down, it's all she has to keep the lights on. Lucy makes it worth it, at the very least. She doesn't like Belfrey any more than she does and longs for the few days a week she's allowed to spend with her mother across town. Wednesdays, however, are ballet. Ivy usually brings Lucy and Luna will pick her up but today Ivy has a mani-pedi appointment. Of course that means that Luna misses her art class because whatever the Belfreys want, they get.
She leads Lucy inside and watches as she changes out of her beat up sneakers, into her ballet shoes. Luna is about to leave, when Lucy speaks up.
"Come say hi to Miss Eve."
"I don't have the right shoes."
"Take them off."
"Luce, I have to go back and get your dinner started…"
"Pleaseeeeee, Luna."
Luna sighs, but kicks off her boots, following Lucy inside. A woman is leaned over the barre against the mirror, a form fitted black leotard on her body with a matching skirt below. She has on white tights and black pointe shoes, unlike Lucy's pink. The woman's light blonde hair is pulled up in a tight bun.
"Hi Miss Eve!" Lucy says.
The woman pulls away from the barre, revealing sparkling green eyes and a bright smile. "Hey Lucy," she says. "You're early. Do you want to help me with the music?"
"Yes please. By the way, this is my nanny, Luna. Luna, this is Eve."
Before either says anything, Lucy runs into the corner where a boom box sits next to a plastic tub and she starts to go through it. Luna laughs, rubbing the back of her neck. This damn kid. If she was going to set her up, it couldn't have been on a day when she was wearing anything but paint splattered overalls and a Marilyn Manson tee that she borrowed from Roni, her hair clipped back in a messy bun?
"Hey," Luna says.
Eve chuckles. "Hey, Lucy has told me a lot about you."
"Likewise. She loves ballet."
"She tells me all the time that I should meet her pretty nanny, that in her storybook we're married."
Luna's cheeks burn. "Oh geez. Lucy and that book."
Ever since Lucy found Henry Mills' book, she fell in love with the story and the characters in it. She became convinced that it was real. She had tracked him down and ever since, he had been hopping around the Heights, interviewing everyone. Luna didn't get the obsession.
"I'm sorry," Luna continues. "I know her grandmother hates that thing."
"I think it's cute, honestly." Eve shrugs. "She's just a kid and besides…I've been wanting to meet this cute nanny."
Luna smirks. "So…you think I'm cute?"
A few other kids walk in the room and Eve pats them on the back, waving. Lucy hits a button on the stereo and a pop song begins to play.
"I have to start warm ups," Eve says. "But maybe we can talk more when you pick Lucy up?"
"I'd like that."

my insomnia laced dragon queen season s7 au
mostly becuase it won’t leave my brain alone....
Dragon Queen snuck into s7, which a touch of Glass Believer. (it’s not a real fic because my brain doesn’t really have time for that, but if I did...)
(should probably dedicate this to the person posting in the tags about how they didn’t ship dragon queen, nothing makes me ship it harder, apparently. )
Henry, Ella, Regina and the resistance run into Lily in the EF2. Lily’s also been wandering the realms, trying to find herself. She gets lost easily, no real concept of time either, being that she’s a dragon on this side.
Henry recognizes her before she recognizes him. He’s supposed to be a kid, he’s like twelve.
They laugh about that. She comes home with him from the tavern where he was getting supplies, listening to everything that’s happened to him since he left Storybrooke.
they meet Ella who’s initially a little skeptical of Henry returning to top secret camp with strangers, but no, this is his sister.
Half-sister. Sort of.
“Oh? I didn’t know you had a half-sister.”
Henry shrugs a little, scratches the back of his neck. “The other half is dragon.”
“Dragon?” And Ella thinks that’s actually pretty amazing (if she doesn’t think about it too much, there’s some weird logistics there, but a dragon is really helpful to the cause, because it’s air support, that’s awesome.)
Lily listens and is willing to help them but when they start talking about actual combat she pauses. “You kind of want Mom for that. I can look scary, definitely burn some stuff, lots of stuff, but anything precise is still kind of beyond me. I can do sound and fury but I’m not really good at the terrifying beast thing.”
Ella takes a moment to blink and switch “Mom” for “Dad” in her head, because no one really specified the pronouns before.
Regina returns from doing something outside of camp and Henry and Lily are talking about trying to summon Maleficent and Lily jokes that it’s not the other world. She can’t just call her.
Regina looks kind of sheepish and corrects Lily that actually, there’s a summoning spell for Maleficent that Regina knows because it was in her spellbook, that Regina basically memorized as a young woman, because she’s a giant nerd and she was fangirling, and she might have had a chance to cast it someday.
Regina casts the spell, because two dragons in the resistance is pretty damn cool. Maleficent appears all drama and fury at first, old school terror, until she recognizes Regina and drops the green flames.
“I didn’t know you knew that spell.”
“I knew all of them, never thought I’d need to cast it.”
And Ella, who’s just sharp as hell, watches them kind of sort of flirting and nudges Henry who’s all.
“They broke up literally ages ago.”
“That’s not what broken up looks like, Henry.”
“They’re friends.”
“Uh-huh.”
“And they’re Lily’s parents.”
“You’re the author,  tell me, how did that story end for them?”
He doesn’t know. Regina’s never talked about it. They ask Lily and she’s also in the dark. She knows the gist of it, Regina wanted to cast the Dark Curse, Maleficent didn’t, they fought.
“Regina kept Mom in dragon form in a cave for like, forever.”
“Just the curse.”
Ella watches Regina and Mal talking across camp and there’s no animosity, none at all, they’re catching up like old friends. Really old friends who walk around holding hands.
Henry and Lily are both all “there’s nothing, really.”
Ella gives them an “uh-huh, sure” sort of look.
In Hyperion Heights, Roni needs money to fight Victoria. Some kind pf outrageous permit or something, and she doesn’t know how she’ll get it and Herny mentions something about fairy godmothers, and she laughts.
“That’s it.”
And she ‘summons’ Mal with a tattered old business card that still has her contact info, and as much as Roni is not Madame Mayor Regina, Maleficent in the cursed world is an airy sort of hippee with thick glasses and scarves and a save the rhinos t-shirt. She’s even vegan.
Henry doesn’t see how she can possibly be helpful fighting Victoria.
Regina explains that Mal is actually a brilliant financier, they met in college. Mal was day trading her way through an accounting degree.
“And?” Henry asks, because there’s some tension before Mal and Roni, kind of delicately flirty.
“And she has a cat named Lily.” Roni pours herself a drink and sighs. “We had a cat.”
“And?”
“And nothing, we went our separate ways, she went to Tanzania to save the elephants and the alligators and wildebeest, I ran this bar.”
Mal works on Roni’s books and the ordinances and can help Roni turn the bar more profitable but it’ll take a few years to make what Victoria wants.
Roni’s crushed but puts on a brave face and starts making them a ‘you tried’ drink and she sets it in front of Mal and is ready to give in and Mal takes the drink and grins.
“Of course, if you had an investor.”
“What?”
Mal takes out her checkbook and writes a check (on some “save the elephants” ridiculously cute check). “Here.”
“I cant.”
“Of you can, I can’t let you lose your lair.”
“It’s not a lair.”
“No, it’s a very nice bar and I’m glad you kept it all this time.”
Roni takes the check, drinks and pours them another set of shots. “How’s Lily?”
“Would you believe she’s still with me?”
“She must be the oldest little cat.”
“She’d remember you.”
“I doubt it.”
“I don’t.”
And they get far too close to each other, but don’t kiss. Henry catches them hugging goodbye and Roni explains the whole thing in a haze, puring herself another drink.
It’s plenty of money, enough to set Victoria back and keep fighting and--
Lily’s still alive. She’s like a twenty-year old cat, which is ridiculous. She’s just a cat.
“But you never had a cat on your own, did you.”
“Never wanted one.”
And they look at each other far too long and it just hurts us that they don’t know they’re related because they just ache for that family connection.
“Maybe you did want something, and you were just afraid.”
“It was a different time, Henry.”
“Of course, I get it.” He lifts his drink. “But you’re here again now.”
Later he’s talking to Ella and mentions that Roni might just have a crush on her ex.
“What kind of ex?”
“The kind you never really get over.”
“I knew there had to be something in her past, she’s too much of a romantic.”
Back in the EF2, Mal and Regina fall wistfully for each other again, but neither of them mentions anything. It’s just nice being togther, talking, having someone who understands everything. They gear up for a fight and it’s just like the old days.
Except they’re on the same side. With their children.
“Grandchildren even,” Mal teases Regina.
“She’s beautiful.”
“I know.”
The fight happens offscreen because we have no budget for cgi dragon battles, and its weirdly offscreen in Hyperion Heights too.
Victoria fumes and threatens Roni. Roni has the last laugh because she’s safe for the moment.
Mal asks her to host a fundraiser for whales or something and Roni teases her that she could just write the check.
Mal laughs, because she will, she donates everything she can get out of the evil capitalist stock market to all the right charities, even has several of her own, but sometimes it’s the idea that has to spread. People need to believe they can do good.
Roni smiles kind of wistfully at her, because that sounds so familiar but she can’t place it.
Back in the EF2, the fight’s over, Mal did the ridiculously dangerous thing they needed her to do, and she flies back as a dragon and shifts back, eyes shining, almost laughing, drunk on battle, but she’s injured and spent and sways a little and Regina catches her.
Mal insists she’s fine, just burnt more than she’s needed to for a very long time.
“You were wonderful.”
“As were you.”
And Ella elbows Henry REALLY hard because they’re leaning into each other, nearly kissing (and Regina’s so damn sort it’s adorable)
Switch back to Hyperion Heights and they’re walking, hands in their pockets, passing just under the Troll Bridge and it’s raining a little and they pause, waiting it out and they get a little close to each other, then closer and Roni jokes that Mal had to swoop in, save her like she’s some endangered cat in the jungle.
Mal teases that very talented bartenders are rare indeed, and need to be protected. They’re very close to each other. Mal invites her back to say hi to Lily.
“Lily doesn’t remember me.”
“I’ve never stopped thinking about you, so how could she?”
Roni hesistates, Mal starts to step back, letting her go, again, but Roni grabs her, kissing her in the chilly Seattle rain.
And we cut back to the EF2, where they’re sitting by the fire, Regina’s cleaning the last of an arrow wound in Mal’s side, healing it up.
“That’s not something you got from my spellbook.”
“No, no I guess it’s not.”
And they’re very close, right next to the fire, and Mal’s half-undressed, wrapped iin a blanket. “You’ve come so far since you broke down my door.”
“I guess I have, but you- you have Lily and you’re here, being pretty damn heroic.”
“Heroic stings a little.” Mal teases, and Regina kisses her hand.
“Thank you.”
“For what?”
“For defending my family.”
“Of course, they’re important to you.”
“They’re everything.”
Mal’s eyes get soft, and she tears up a little. “You know, I never, ever regret you being Lily’s mother, because you love her so fiercely.”
“She’s my daughter.”
Mal touches Regina’s chin. “And I’m so grateful.”
And they’re close, very very close.
“Loving too much has always been my problem.”
And Mal kisses her, gently. “I don’t think it’s a problem at all.”

OC ASKS: Does any of your OCs have siblings and what is their relationship like if they do?
Yay! Another long one! (Wow, that sounded sarcastic, but it wasn't!) I'm just doing biological and legal adoptive siblings here. I can do found family siblings if you want too! Send me another ask if that's something you'd be interested in!
My OCs and Their Siblings
Veronica ''Roni' Mae Tanner (Arrow)
Carli Tanner- younger twin sister; Close when they were young, the Tanner twins grew apart as Roni befriended fellow rich kids Oliver Queen and Tommy Merlyn. Didn't speak at all between ages 15 & 21 after their mother sent Carli to Gotham to live with their uncle for stealing & crashing their mother's car. Closer now, but still rebuilding.
Annabel 'Annie' Lee Hodgins (Bones)
Jeffery Hodgins- older brother +16 years; Annie didn't know Jeffrey existed for the first 36 years of her life, but since learning about him has come to care for him deeply. She regularly visits him at the Sandalwood Home and greatly enjoys talking with him.
Jack Hodgins- older brother +2 years; Since she was old enough to remember, Jack has been Annie's favorite person. Of course, she loved her parents but her brother would show her cool bugs he found and played pirates with her. As they got older, he helped her with science projects and cheered for her at her softball games. No one was surprised when she started working at the Jeffersonian as his intern while she got her zoology doctorate.
Regina Artemis Grimhilde (Descendants)
Evie Grimhilde- younger sister -1 year; Growing up, Regina always tried to protect her sister. The Evil Queen had always been disappointed in her eldest daughter. Regina had never had any interest in learning to apply make-up or practice homemaking skills, so the Queen turned all her attention on Evie. Regina always tried to remind her sister what she had realized at a young age: There's more to life than being pretty and you don't need a prince to be worth something. As much as she wanted to protect her sister, a small part of Regina resented Evie for holding their mother's favor. Even so, the two always had each other's backs.
Rosalind ''Rose' Renee Smythe (The Flash)
Jackson Smythe- older brother +4 years, deceased; As a small child, Rose idolized her big brother. He was so cool and knew how to make her favorite snacks just how she liked them. When she was accepted to the science academy in Coast City, Jackson had been so proud of her. She was always so excited to see him when she went home for the holidays. After their mother died, Rose stopped going home and a rift began to grow between the Smythe siblings. Even after she returned to Central City to work at STARLabs, Rose rarely saw her brother. After the Particle Accelerator explosion, which killed Jackson, Rose regrets not spending more time with him and feels at least partially responsible for his death.
Kris Smythe- older twin sister; Before she moved to Coast City, Rose and her sister were inseparable. They may have been as different as night and day, Rose being more academically interested and Kris having... other interests, but that didn't matter. After Rose left, Kris felt abandoned and came to resent her twin. It wouldn't be until years later when they found themselves on opposite sides of a superhero/supervillain showdown that they would even speak again. As their teams come together again and again, the sisters rebuild their relationship. Today, they're once again able to call each other when trouble rears its head.
Samantha 'Sami' Jean Upton (Glee)
Finn Hudson- older cousin/adoptive brother, +6 months; From the day Sami was born, Finn was her built-in best friend. Raised more as siblings than as cousins, that's how they started to think of each other. When Sami's mother died, nothing changed except that she now lived fulltime in the Hudson house. No matter what came their way, they faced it together. When Noah Puckerman moved in and refused to play with a girl, Finn was quick to tell the other boy off until he relented. When Finn had trouble with homework, Sami was there to help. When they hit high school, they planned to take the world by storm, which they did. Sami always saw Finn as her personal superhero, a protector, a friend, someone totally invincible. When he died, Sami's world turned upside-down. Even today, she still finds herself moving to call him sometimes.
Charlotte 'Carli' Anne Tanner (Gotham/Batwoman)
Roni Tanner- older twin sister; Carli was a lonely kid. She was always a bit... different from the other kids. She didn't mind because she had Roni. Then her sister HAD to go,make friends with the popular kids. Left alone, Carli grew bored and started causing trouble. It was innocent fun until Roni and her friends choose to exploit her hobby by convincing her to "borrow" the girls' mom's car. Finding herself alone with her uncle in Gotham City, Carli cut all ties with her mother and sister and wouldn't look back for several years.
Delilah 'Lila' Romana Lupin (Harry Potter: Marauders' Era)
Remus Lupin- younger twin brother; Lila and Remus were always complete opposites, day and night, war and peace, order and chaos. At the same time, they were puzzle pieces, they fit together perfectly and one was incomplete without the other. After Remus rescued Lila from Fenrir Greyback when they were 5, the twins spent most of their childhood isolated from other children because of Remus's condition, but they always had each other. Even after they got to Hogwarts, you could rarely find one without the other. Lila even went so far as to join the other Marauders in becoming an animagus. As they grew to adulthood, they continued protecting and supporting each other until death dragged them apart.
Kristianna 'Kris' Marie Smythe (Legends of Tomorrow)
Jackson Smythe- older brother +4 years, deceased; Jackson was always Kris's favorite person. From the moment she was born, the two had a special bond. Rose may be her twin, but she and Jackson thought the same way. They were better at hands-on, real life problems than things that could be solved with a book or in a lab. After their mom died and their dad was arrested, Jackson took custody of his 14-year-old sister and their bond only strengthened. When he died, Kris was crushed and didn't know what to do. Now, she lives to try and make him period.
Rose Smythe- younger twin sister; As kids, Kris thought the world of her sister. Rose was her best friend. Then, she left and Kris was so angry with her. She spent years barely speaking with her sister. When the Particle Accelerator exploded killing their brother and giving her powers, Kris turned to her friends rather than her sister. It wasn't until she and Leonard first met the Flash and his partner Ginger Snap that the twins reconnected. There was no way Kris wasn't going to recognize Rose's face behind her red domino mask, it was her face too, after all. After that first encounter, the sisters were able to begin to rebuild their childhood relationship. Now, Kris knows that no matter where (or when) she is, if she needs help, Rose will be there.
Hannah Louise Kentworthy (Magnus Chase & the Gods of Asgard)
Prentiss Kentworthy- half-brother -11 years; Orphaned by the death of their father when she was 13 and he was just 2, Hannah and Prentiss only had each other. She had to grow up quickly to keep the young boy fed and safe, but she never resented him for it. Hannah adored her baby brother. She was willing to die for him after all.
Veronica ''Roni' Maria Stark (Marvel/X-Men)
Tony Stark - brother, +8 years; From the minute Roni was born, Tony swore he'd never let anything happen to her. When it was discovered that she had leukemia at age 4, he was the one who stayed with her constantly. They spent hours reading, coloring, watching movies and just being kids. Even after their dad found a way to cure her, Roni loved hanging out with her big brother and Tony was more than happy to teach her to build computers and fix engines. It's no surprise they grew up to be the world's mightiest sibling superheroes.
Mary Anne 'Annie' Kelly (Newsies)
Jack Kelly- older twin brother; Growing up a newsie is never easy, but it's a little better knowing someone always has your back.Whether she needs a selling partner or someone to go to after having a nightmare, Annie knows she can always turn to her brother. It's been the two of them against the world since they were 10 and together they can take on anything.
Erika 'Rikki' Ruth Lane (Outer Banks)
Izzy Lane- sister, -3 years; Rikki and Izzy are as different as night and day. Izzy loves the kook life their parents try to force on them. She adores the country club and sailing with her friends and their families and all the things that come with growing up on Figure Eight. On the flip side Rikki would rather be on the Cut riding her bike or at the Boneyard partying with her friends. As different as they are though, the sisters are always there for each other. If Rikki sneaks out to go midnight surfing with JJ, Izzy covers for her. When Izzy competes in pageants, you can bet Rikki will be the one cheering the loudest!
Andrea 'Drea' Lynn Jones (Riverdale)
Jughead Jones- older twin brother; You know that saying about twins being one soul in two bodies? That's about Jughead and Drea. Whether they're in the newsroom of the Blue & Gold or drag racing Ghoulies, the Jones twins are a force to be reckoned with. From the moment they took their first breath, it's been the two of them and pity the poor soul who hurts one because the other will come for you.
Jellybean Jones- younger sister, -6 years; Drea loves her little sister. She knows their family isn't perfect and their life isn't the best, but she wants to give JB the world. When Gladys takes her and moves to Toledo, Drea misses her fiercely. She's glad that the kid's away from the insanity that is Riverdale, but she still kinda wishes her sister was around.
Agatha 'Aggie' Ophelia Morrigan (Riverdale)
Holden Morrigan- older twin brother, deceased; If Jason Blossom was Cheryl's soulmate, then Holden Morrigan was Aggie's. Their childhood was perfect. Their mother taught them to bake and made their home warm and welcoming to everyone. Their father was the fun dad who built treehouses and led water balloon fights. Aggie and Holden were inseparable and spent their days riding bikes and playing little league games with the other neighborhood kids. Everything was great until they were 10. After the car crash that killed Holden and their parents, Aggie misses her brother more than anything. She feels like half of her is forever missing.
Abigail 'Abbey' Leigh Dugan (Stargirl)
Mike Dugan- brother, -4 years; Abbey and Mike are your typical siblings. They fight, they have inside jokes, they drive each other crazy, but in the end, they love each other. Even though he drives her up the wall sometimes, Abbey does what she can to look after her little brother. She always makes sure there's Pop-Tarts in the house, she feeds Buddy when Mike forgets, and she always tries to check in on him when he's feeling overlooked. In return, he always makes sure to leave some cheese puffs in the bag if Abbey hasn't had any yet, he sends links to music he thinks she'll like, and he makes sure she knows that she's awesome even without superpowers.
Courtney Whitmore- step-sister, -1 year; When Pat and Barbara first got together, Abbey didn't get along with Courtney. Since her parents' divorce, Abbey developed a habit of pushing people away and she found the younger girl's perkiness annoying. Even after their family movies move to Blue Valley, Abbey keeps her walls up. When Courtney decides to restart the JSA, Abbey goes along to keep her out of trouble. As they recruit more members and the team grows closer, so do the two girls. By the time Christmas comes around, Abbey and Courtney are as close as she and Mike are.
Sharon Elizabeth Henderson (Stranger Things)
Dustin Henderson- brother, -4 years; Sharon would do anything for her brother. Before Steve came along, she was the ultimate babysitter. Whether the boys needed another player for a D&D campaign, a ride to the arcade, or someone to hit a monster with a crowbar, Sharon's who they call! When they were younger, Sharon was the one to introduce Dustin to comic books and sci-fi movies. They're two nerdy peas in a pod and neither would have it any other way.
Cora Elise Hargreeves (The Umbrella Academy)
Luther Hargreeves- brother; Cora and Luther don't get along as well as some of the other sibling pairs, but they also respect each other quite a bit. She admires his leadership skills, even if she does find him bossy at times. He thinks she's probably got her shit together the best of all of the siblings. However they feel about each other, they know if they're ever in trouble, the other will have their back.
Diego Hargreeves- brother; Diego was one of very few good things in Cora's childhood. Reginald used to make them train by pitting their powers against each other. This often left at least one of them nicked by a knife or hit by some other projectile. They would patch each other up afterwards, creating a bond built on trust and scars. She's the most patient with his stutter, sitting quietly and waiting for him to sort out his words. He's the most steady during her panic attacks, a quiet, solid presence to just sit with her. He's probably her favorite brother.
Allison Hargreeves- sister; Cora loves her sister. She really does, but does she have to be SO damn perfect??? Not that Cora's ever wanted to be an actress, no, she's fine letting Allison do that. It's just hard sometimes. Living in her shadow. Sometimes she wishes she could be the one to shine.
Klaus Hargreeves- brother; Where do I begin? Klaus is Cora's favorite person in the whole world. He's the only one who never falls to make her smile. He's her best friend, her safe place, her home. There was a time when everyone thought they'd be just like Luther and Allison, but life had other plans and things changed. (Thank goodness.) One thing that didn't change is that they love each other through all the crazy.
Five Hargreeves- brother; Cora and Five have a relationship rather similar to Luther and Diego. Super competitive and always trying to one up each other. However, unlike their brothers, neither Cora nor Five has any authority over the other. This means their competitions are mostly friendly, but no less cutthroat.
Ben Hargreeves- brother, deceased; Cora and Ben were a formidable duo. When they were on missions, the two of them would work together to take down bad guys. Cora would toss them up with her telekinesis and Ben would catch them in his tentacles and... dispatch them. Even when they weren't playing catch, they were always watching out for each other. When Ben died, Cora took it harder than anyone. She still blames herself for letting it happen.
Viktor Hargreeves- brother; Cora always hated how Viktor was treated when they were kids. She tried her best to include him whenever possible. Asking about his music or sharing the little treats fans had sent her when Reginald wasn't looking. When Viktor wrote his book, Cora was the first to buy a copy. She was so proud of her brother for having the courage to speak out against their father when none of the rest of them did.
Willow Hargreeves (@magicalmystery-muses)- sister; Growing up in The Umbrella Academy wasn't easy. It was a little easier when your best friend lived on the other side of the wall. From the day Reginald adopted Willow, she and Cora were joined at the hip. Even though they're the same age, Cora has always seen Willow as her little sister. She can be a little over protective, but it's just because she cares so much. Willow's her favorite sister and she loves hanging out with her. They may be at the bottom of the lineup, but together, they're on top of the world!
Ryder Jane Martin (The Walking Dead)
Taylor Martin- sister, -3 years, deceased; Taylor and Ryder were your typical sisters. Taylor followed Ryder around, copied everything she did, and generally drove her nuts like only a little sister can. Even so, Ryder loved her. When she left for college, the things that drove her crazy were the things Ryder missed the most. When she went home for breaks, the sisters were inseparable. Now she'd give anything to look back and see her baby sister following her.
Amanda ''Mandi' Kathleen Taylor (Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist)
Evan Taylor- brother, +5 years; Mandi and Evan have a somewhat strained relationship. It doesn't matter that she's the most successful graphic designer in the country, her parents still don't think she's as good as her brother, the big shot CEO. While she is proud of him and his success. It's hard to hide her jealousy when their mom starts comparing them.

Lost and Found
Rumplestiltskin/Belle French, G
Summary: A cursed Hyperion Heights, a different villain, and Rumplestiltskin as the Light One?
Notes: I don't know guys. This is a thing. I had a concept and I tried to make it work. Just imagine a completely different Enchanted Forest. For the Writer's Month prompt 14: fairytale.
[AO3]
Detective Weaver leaned forward onto the table, his hands folded in front of him.
“So what’s wrong this time, Tilly?” he asked. Across the interview room table sat Tilly, in her customary old green coat and flannel, backpack in her lap. “Why did you leave the halfway house and make me spend all morning looking for you?”
Tilly smiled. “I found it Detective.”
“Found what?”
She reached around and unzipped the front pocket of the pack before taking out something and setting it on the table between them. He frowned. It was a white teacup with a little blue flower on it, and a chip in the rim. Something buzzed in his ears and he shook his head, unable to take his eyes off the cup as he slowly leaned closer and closer, his hand sliding out across the metal table towards it.
There was something oddly familiar about it, something that felt like he was being drawn in. “What -” he mumbled. “What’s happening…?”
“It’s gonna be okay,” Tilly said, her smile widening. “It’s okay, it’s working.”
His fingers touched the cup and a white light flashed in his eyes, the buzz switching to a high pitched tone that made him squeeze his eyes shut. Pain stabbed at his temples and he fumbled the cup, knocking it over as he sat back in the chair, holding his head in his hands and groaning. Everything felt wrong and strange, from his clothes to his hair to the smell of the air around him. He grabbed at his chest, the leather under his palm familiar, yet not; too smooth and not thick enough.
A second later it all went away and Rumplestiltskin looked across the table at Alice, a smile slowly spreading over his face.
“Rumple Bumple?” Alice tilted her head, her eyes wide and hopeful as she got up and came around the side of the table. “Are you okay?”
He nodded, his eyes fixed on the cup for a long moment before he looked at Alice. “Hey.”
She grinned and reached for him, wrapping her arms around his neck in a tight, long overdue hug. “Hey yourself.” When she pulled back, there were tears in his eyes. “Don’t do that. It’s gonna be okay now. You’re awake.”
Turning back to the cup, he reached for it, pulling it to him and cradling it in both hands. It had been lost for years in the curse, just as his real persona had, but Alice’s odd mental state made her immune, just as he’d hoped. He stroked his thumb over the small chip, recalling exactly how and when it had occurred, as if it was yesterday.
Belle.
He looked up at Alice with sudden, new awareness. “I have to wake her.”
Alice nodded as he pushed up off the chair, shoving the cup in the pocket of his leather jacket as he left the room. So much was stranger and different about this world, yet familiar too. He wasn’t sure how long they’d all been asleep, but somehow they’d all found each other. Even the curse couldn’t hold back the bonds of love and family.
Rumplestiltskin stopped at the front of the police station and looked around. Rogers - Hook - his enemy turned friend, was sitting at a desk, filling out paperwork. Across the room was Emma, badge on her hip and coffee in her hand, and he shook his head again. The conflict between his cursed memories and his real ones was giving him a headache, but he knew if he could find Belle, then it would be sorted. He just hoped that with everything that had happened under the curse, that she would still want to see him.
Fortune was on his side, as he stepped out into the street. Standing on the corner, waiting for the bus, was Lacey - Belle. He smiled and hurried towards her.
“What the fuck do you want?” she snapped, flicking her cigarette at the ground.
“Just trust me,” he said, holding his hands up as he slowed his pace and came closer. Looking at her now seemed strange. The tights and short skirts, the low tops and outrageous heels, it was such a far cry from her elegant dresses and fancy gowns.
Lacey was still made of all the parts of Belle that he loved, just fit together differently.
She gave him a suspicious look. “Why…?”
“Just...please?”
He stopped in front of her and took her face in his hands. She started to pull away, but he didn’t let her, pressing his lips firmly to hers and holding on as she tried to swing her fist at him. An angry sound came up from her throat, quickly replaced by something else. A light spread out around them, making him feel warm head to toe, and then it vanished with an almost musical sound. Immediately, her lips parted under his, her arms coming up around his neck as he deepened the kiss, pushing her back against the glass of the bus stop.
There was a whistle from somewhere behind him, and he broke the kiss, twisting around to see a few familiar faces coming towards them.
“Rumplestiltskin?”
He turned back to Belle and saw her beaming up at him.
“You’re awake,” she said, her voice just a touch softer than Lacey’s. “You did it.”
He nodded and kissed her again before letting her go and turning to face the crowd that was slowly gathering. Several people began to smile as they recognized each other.
“Looks like your plan worked.”
Rumple laughed. “Yes, Your Highness, it did. Though it seems to have taken a bit - longer - than I thought.”
David slapped him on the shoulder, grinning. “The man who saved my life twice, doesn’t need to stand on titles. Right, Lady Belle?”
Belle nodded and leaned against Rumple, hugging his arm and refusing to let go of him now that they had found each other again.
“Thank you, Sir Rumplestiltskin.”
The Prince held out his hand, and Rumple took it, letting David pull him into a hug. When they parted, it was Belle’s turn, and as the others came wandering out, looking around as if in a daze, they began to gather at the corner. It would take some time to locate everyone who had been transported to this strange city of Hyperion Heights in this even stranger Land Without Magic, and they didn’t have much time before the villain who had cast the curse noticed.
“Who the hell is responsible for this?”
A familiar voice made Rumple turn around, and he barely bit back a laugh as Roni - err, Queen Regina - came down the sidewalk. Her gait and the way she held herself was the same as ever, haughty and confident, but her short wavy hair, skinny jeans, and tattoos were nowhere in the vincinty of her usual attire.
She stopped with her hands on her hips and blazing anger in her eyes. “What is this?” she asked, pulling out the edge of her t-shirt, emblazoned with flames and a thorny rose twisted around the barrel of a gun. “And where are my jewels?”
David snorted and shook his head. “All in due time, Your Majesty.”
Regina huffed and then fixed Rumple with a hard stare. “Okay, Light One, who did this to us?”
Rumplestiltskin smirked, all too happy to have perpetually down on her luck Roni replaced by the old, fiery Regina. “I’ll give you one guess. She’s a friend of your mother’s, and she’s quite the gardener.”
Regina’s eyes narrowed and her lips pulled back in a sneer as she spat out the name. “Gothel.”
“Right in one.” He inclined his head towards her as his smirk spread into a grin. Then he looked around at the assembled group, princes and princesses, knights and soldiers. Now the real fight began. “Would anyone like to accompany me to Belfrey Developments’ office?”

Story below the cut or in AO3 here
Femslash February prompt list in use
A/N:  Gotta have my first ship in my Femslash February as well. I have actually seen like half of season seven so far, so stuff is way different and well it's au anyway.
Emma doesn't know how and why, but she finds herself in a neighborhood in Seattle. She sees a sign for a bar and decides it's a better place than any to ask about the neighborhood and get a drink at the same time. She's stopped by a girl on her way there though. The kid looks familiar but Emma doesn't recognize her before she talks.
"You're Emma right?"
"Yes. And you're Lucy. You were like six the last time I saw you."
"You remember? That's perfect, you can break the curse then."
"The curse?"
"Yeah! C'mon I know where nona is. You gotta make her remember too."
Emma is so confused but she's being dragged by her grandchild towards the bar and she has no other option than to follow.
They reach the bar and Lucy suddenly stops at the door.
"Remember this is kinda like the first dark curse. So you just need to make her remember and then you can break it with true love's kiss."
"Regina is in there?"
"Duh. Who else would I be calling nona? Now go there and make her believe, nana."
"Kid, listen. It's not gonna happen just like that. It's gonna be more complicated. It might take some time. Also where's your father?"
"He doesn't remember. He doesn't remember me or mom. He thinks his family is dead. But you can make him believe too. He sometimes visits Roni."
"Roni?"
"That's the name nona has here. Just go in there and talk to her."
Lucy pushed her a little and Emma actually needed to take a step closer to the door. Definitely her grandchild it seemed.
"Okay okay. I'm going. What about you?"
"I need to go to grandma's. She's gonna give mom trouble if I'm gone for long."
"Okay. I'll see you around."
And as soon as she said that Lucy turned around and left. Emma faced the door again and sighed.
'Well here goes for nothing I guess.'
She pushed the door open and went inside. The bar looked nice. It was warm and welcoming. But the sight of Regina, Roni, she corrected herself, made her stop at her tracks. She was so beautiful. She looked different, more relaxed, and Emma liked this look but she also was sad that this was a different version of her wife who wouldn't recognize her. She moved towards the bar and sat down.
"What can I get you?"
Emma just stared at her for a while.
"I, uhm, Lucy told me to come here. And I'll have a beer."
"Coming right up." A bottle of beer was placed in front of her, "So, Lucy huh? She talks to you about how we're all under some curse? That's what she told Henry when he came here."
"Yeah, something like that. Actually do you know when Henry will be here? She insisted that I talk to him too."
"Tomorrow. If he comes before you're around, I'll tell him you're looking for him. Actually getting your name would help with that."
"Oh, right. Emma Swan. Nice to meet you."
"Roni," and Emma knew that but she still felt a weird bang in her chest when she didn't get the name she hoped for, "Swan. Beautiful name for a beautiful woman."
"You don't look that bad either."
"How very charming of you."
Emma heard the sarcastic undertone as clear as day. She smirked.
"Oh, you got it all wrong. That's my father."
She stayed for a long while and learned that Roni was a pretty heavy flirt, well at least towards her. Regina was never so straight forward with her before they got together. Emma very much enjoyed her time but she ended up leaving before ten o'clock. She just had a hard time being around this woman who was so much like her wife but still so different.
----------
Emma arrived at the bar again around 3pm the next day. Henry was already there. She sat on the empty seat next to him.
"Hi, I wanted to talk to you about Lucy. I'm Emma Swan."
"Henry Mills."
"Roni, could you come over here for a second?" Emma called out for the other woman who moved quickly towards them. Emma and Henry were pretty much the only people in the bar at this hour.
Emma reached behind her neck and removed her necklace. She placed the charm neatly on the bar. Then she looked at Roni.
"You have a similar one, and Henry you have a key that finishes the puzzle."
They both looked at her like she was crazy.
"That curse Lucy talks about? It's real. You're my family and we got these charms to remind each other even when we're apart. Now I know you have them so hand them over and I'll show you."
Roni took off her necklace and Henry fiddled with his keys taking off the key charm. Then they handed them a little skeptically to Emma, who placed all of them on the bar. She did the little three part puzzle. Moving the two hearts together and then placing the key to the key shaped spot between the two hearts.
"See? You know me. We’re a family."
Roni looked at the charms on the table and to both Emma and Henry multiple times.
"I… Follow me."
She grabbed the charms and moved to the back of the bar Emma and Henry right at her heels. She returned each charm to its owner and put hers back around her neck. Then she helped Emma with hers and before Emma even had time to thank her she was pulled into a tight hug.
"So you do remember." Emma chuckled and wrapped her arms around Regina.
"Of course I do, you big idiot. How could I not?"
They stayed like that for a while and shared a couple of little kisses until they heard a little cough.
"Uh, moms?"
They turned to their son and took him in the embrace as well. Both of the women pressed a kiss to Henry's crown and that's when they felt a little pulse go out. The curse had been broken. They moved back to the bar for a few drinks and it wasn't long until the door opened and Lucy and Ella came through. The whole Swan-Mills family was back together again.

Love in the Moonlight by Jamie_Ysabelle
Summary
SwanQueen AU. Omegaverse. No magic, no curse.
"This may sound like I’m a creep but I’ve been watching you from a distance ever since we saw each other that night." Even with the soft illumination from the moon and the lamppost from a few feet away being the only source of light, Regina saw the faint blush painting her pale cheeks. "It took me a long time to convince myself to stop being a creepy stalker and just approach you and well…" she trailed off with an awkward shrug.
Regina gave the blonde a smile of her own. "Here we are."
"Yeah," she said with a small nervous laugh. "Here we are."

If I lose, I lose (But I doubt you will let me) [SQ one shot]
@q-uan here asked for some cuteness. I couldn’t say no to her so… there, some fluff without the gritty details I tend to favor :P
Original idea: “l am dying for Season 7 Good Queen Regina to hustle Emma in a game of pool. She must still have some Roni edge from HH, right. I want her to flirt Emma to death and steal both her beer and her heart.”
Note: I wrote this one under 40 minutes so any further editions will be done after I’m free from work today. Apologies for any glaring typo.
“I can’t believe you made me bet against you.”
Regina laughed at Emma’s obvious frustration as she walked around the pool table, cue stick dancing on her right hand. It was still early, early enough for the tables at Aesop’s to still be almost empty but the brunette could feel the eyes of a few patrons here and there, gazing curiously at both of them. The attention, while still something she was coming to terms after the coronation, made her preen even if only slightly.
It was a strange feeling she let herself enjoy in the same way Roni had loved to show her abilities as a bartender. Shrugging and juggling the stick from one hand to the other, she jumped and sat at the blinders, letting the cue stick dangle now from her fingers. It was a movement that she wouldn’t have done some time ago and she saw the surprise widening Emma’s eyes, but she merely let her smile widen; the freeing sensation of being her and not at the same time just as skin-buzzing the glances Emma had given her ever since she had entered into the pub had been.
“You should know already that it’s better to never bet against me, Emma.”
She lowered her voice, not channeling her Queen days, the ones attached to a tittle that had been destroyed, but a more sincere one, one that she knew the blonde would recognize and as the blonde let out a half-hearted chuckle, long fingers clenching against her own cue stick and the beer she still had to finish, Regina tilted her head, drinking the other woman in.
If she squinted she would be able to see an even younger version of the blonde, one that had been seared into her memory no matter the many times curses had destroyed any recollection of what, who or why. The now re-found red leather jacket hung from a nearby chair, the zipper glinting under the pub’s dim lights but the loose fabric of an almost black tank top hugged Emma’s upper body. It was a wink maybe, a way of reconnecting with herself in the same way skin-tight jeans and high boots were but the brunette found herself enjoying the view. A view that, up until not so long ago, she wouldn’t have dared to look at twice.
She still felt unsure, of how far she would be able to push. Emma had walked into her home the night Hook had left: the echoes of a convoluted discussion haunting her eyes as she had asked Regina for something she hadn’t been granted ever since she had started to date the man; time. Regina had given it to her, shielding her from the probing questions Snow had fired at her the morning after. Standing proud, tall, she had refused to leave the blonde’s side and when asked by a far too knowingly Henry she had merely shaken her head and pretended that the now young man hadn’t seen and heard far too much when he had been younger.
And, while she would never push, seeing Emma as she slowly built herself back up had been intoxicating, magical, and something that had made her press her lips together and look elsewhere as her heart drummed inside her chest far too loudly, far too fast.
Over the years there had always been a tension, an unspoken deal and now that hung between them in tatters. She would never force that conversation to happen but tonight, in the middle of Aesop’s with the scent of beer and sweat there were far too many phantoms of a life Emma hadn’t seen her live for her to be able to keep still. She could feel Roni’s inner thoughts like tendrils, wrapping themselves around every thought that focused on the blonde who was still eyeing her, a flush on her cheeks and eyes greener than ever under the lights.
Crossing her legs by her ankles, she rose an eyebrow at the blonde woman as Emma’s magic crackled and jumped, the hold on the cue stick tightening, sparks fleeing from the woman’s fingers to the wood of the stick. There it was, Regina could see the moment in where a shadow of an idea took form at the back of the blonde’s eyes but, like it always did, the moment was lost, and the glimmer gone.
She didn’t let herself be disappointed by it. Not when Emma took a swig of her beer before placing it in dangerous equilibrium at her side of the table, the splotches of color that were the balls trembling a little as she moved closer to the edge. Not when the blonde allowed a smile to surface, the curls of her hair haloing her face as she rose her skin, proud as ever, as she bent over the table, stick sliding through her fingers as she tried to decide how to hit the elusive balls. When she spoke, there was a hint of taunting there, between the vowels, under the consonants, and Regina let herself enjoy that as much as Emma stole not so subtle glances at her.
“You are right, madam mayor, I should have known better.”
It was the inflection, the deliberate use of a title no one but her used anymore and Regina hummed at it, smirk in place as Emma breathed in and out only to raise the stick too high, the scrap on the table before it hit the ball one Regina winced at as it was obvious the blonde’s attention had definitely been elsewhere.
“Oh, this is fun.”
And it was. It was fun in a way they had never been able to enjoy before. It was fun in the same way Regina hadn’t had the opportunity to behave like this before and the brunette rose her free hand only to graze her collarbone through the low-cut shirt she wore. A compromise perhaps, between her usual style and Roni’s. The movement was, once again, followed by Emma’s eyes and the brunette nibbled her bottom lip before jumping to the floor once again.
“If you are going to try to best me.” She began, approaching the blonde’s side of the table, eyes dark and trimmed with purple as she let the reins on her magic slip just enough to join Emma’s dirty white. “You need some classes. Want me to teach you?”
She rose the pitch, the inflection, at the end, voice dropping just a second before and she saw Emma’s flush creep up the younger woman’s neck before the blonde’s eyes raked through her form as she kept her approach. She should back away, a voice in her head whispered hotly: the same voice that had always kept her mute and silent as she had seen the progressive deterioration of Emma’s psyche. The same voice that had redeemed her unworthy.
She battled against the voice, fixing the smirk in place while she slid her free hand over the blinders, up until she grasped the miraculously still standing bottle of beer. The glass of the bottle was still cold, and the liquid sloshed inside as she rose it, too quickly for Emma’s still dazed look. As soon as the blonde realized what was happening, however, she tightened her jaw, the magic turning lighter on her fingers, almost starkly white.
“Regina.”
It was a plea but Regina herself wasn’t entirely sure if Emma knew what for. Taking a sip of the beer, she put her own stick down and circled her, pressing one flat palm between the blonde’s shoulder blades.
“Relax.” Her voice was lower than it was necessary but there were still eyes around them and as much as she was enjoying her game with the younger woman she still felt herself at edge. “Just let me.”
It came to her that she wasn’t entirely sure what she was talking about anymore either and as she felt Emma’s sweat beneath the tank top she found herself battling against the idea of turning the palm into a fist, bunching the fabric and yanking it closer to her still. The image was quick and brusque and dissolved into nothingness the second she blinked but Emma seemed to sense a change on her own magic as she arched her back just slightly, enough for Regina to feel the movement of muscles beneath the fabric.
With a chuckle that spoke of nerves but thrill, Emma twisted her neck, glancing at her with strained muscles and tendons, shoulders still locked in place.
“I don’t think helping me is fair to you. If I lose, I lose.”
Regina narrowed her eyes at that but nodded, her magic burning beneath her skin as she took a step backwards and let her hand fall to her side, her flesh tingling.
“Very well.” She replied, reaching for the blonde’s hair and rearranging it so a few locks remained trapped beneath the woman’s ear. Her next words came to her before she was able to edit them, to change them, and she wondered for a second how much of Roni was truly left, how much she was using without realizing it. “Don’t say I didn’t try to help.”
Emma hummed and stepped away, turning and retrieving the still half-full beer with a far too slow movement that made both jump.
“Thank you.”

Who Is Wish Killian To Me? (Wish Hook Week 2)
Summary: Who is Wish Killian to the people in his life? Let’s find out!
So originally, I was gonna make this a discussion about what the character means to me personally, but the words just weren’t coming out. In truth, they’re a bit complicated and not necessarily what this week is about. However, what was coming out of my head was a fun idea: What does Wish Killian mean to some of the other characters on OUAT? Let’s be honest: That’s probably a more interesting take that than my personal thoughts on the guy, so I figured, why not roll with it and just make something cute out of that? So here goes nothing!
()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()()
To Alice, he’s Papa. It’s all he if she’s limited to a single word, but that role alone consists of so much that she’s at a loss over where to begin. He’s a cook, a storyteller, a teacher, a cleaner, a confidant, a source of comfort, a chess master, a rescuer, a tea time socialite, the world’s best hugger, a champion caretaker. He’s the one who never fails to cheer her up with the sound of his voice and the one who makes her feel like Wonder Woman through the sheer amount of pride he has in her. And she can go on for longer than there are days in a month. But she’s told Papa works perfectly for him and she agrees, for “Papa” means to her “the one that she loves the most.”
To Robin, he’s just about the coolest dad-in-law she could ever ask for. Of course, he gave her Alice, and for that, she thanks him frequently, if not to his face than in her heart. But beyond that, he’s just an awesome guy. He’s simultaneously a badass whose lived for over 200 years while yielding a sword like he was born with one in his hand and one of the gentlest men alive to her wife. That balance is something of an ideal for her and she tries to be like him when the opportunity presents itself. He, alongside Alice, is who she thinks of when it’s time to stand up to a baddie.
To Regina, he’s someone she can level with. So much of their life’s framework is too similar not to comment on and so they do. Many an evening is spent at Roni’s post-curse swapping stories about bringing up their children, their journeys to become better people, and the friendships they’ve made along the way. Additionally, while she has plenty of friends and she loves them all, it’s a very tight knit group and sometimes, it’s just nice to have someone who she gets along with that’s not as connected to them to talk to about her day-to-day life. And Wish Killian’s often that person for her. He’s a good listener and what he has to say in response to her stories is far more useful than not.
To Tiana, he’s her favorite customer. Not only did his cursed counterpart get her a great deal on her food truck, but he also suggested strategic spots that would garner The Rolling Bayou the best customers with the fattest wallets. He’s also a good food critic. Along with Naveen, he’s positive, but has a tongue for spice distribution that rivals few others. There have been some recipes that he, Tiana, and Naveen have spent days perfecting like chemists in a lab. Tiana’s basically given him a lifelong discount of The Rolling Bayou’s menu with plenty of freebies, but he always insists on tipping like a king with a full treasury.
To Henry, he’s a friend. He’s someone Henry can go to for advice for with raising Lucy and is an eternal flame of inspiration for overcoming the challenges of parenthood. He’s the first to tell Henry when he thinks his plans are going awry, but also the first to indulge Henry in what he thinks he needs. Henry sees him as a mix of Wilson from Home Improvement and Uncle Jesse from Full House -- cool as an ice cube but also someone safe and comforting to talk to when he needs someone by his side.
To Ella, he’s a bonafide hero. He takes care of her family in a way that no one else quite does. When they need a babysitter, Killian appears before she or Henry can even say his name. He stops by on a regular basis to offer them company because he knows what it’s like to feel a bit lonely while caring for a baby for those first few months. And of course, she can’t possibly begin to thank him for the white elephant, but upon realizing just what the bauble was capable of, she vows to find a way to. Every year, she bakes him a big birthday cake. Whenever they go out to dinner together, she takes on his share of the bill. Killian always tells her that she doesn’t need to go to such lengths, but she knows what he did deserves nothing less than all of the gratitude she can give him. His daughter is the center of his world. It’s something he very nearly died for and he chose to give up a chance at an earlier reunion just to protect Ella’s family and for that, she’ll always adore him.
To Lucy, he’s her godfather, swimming teacher, playmate and tour guide of the larger world. He's given her many of her favorite toys and illuminated her vision of other worlds when her youth prevented her from going to them. She dreams of visiting all of these amazing places with him leading the way as they explore the realms together. She especially loves what he tells her about all the animals he’s seen. When she was younger, they’d play seagulls. He’d hold her above her head and take her soaring through the forest and by the lake while they made bird noises.
To Zelena, he’s someone she can trust. That’s not to be taken lightly, as she can count the amount of people she can trust on one hand. But he’s earned it. She sees how he has in the past and continues to look out for her daughter and not just because she’s special to Alice, but because he knows as a parent the value of looking out for another’s kid. They have an understanding and while Zelena will never admit it outright, Killian’s made her a better mother and person. They’re sentiments Zelena returns. Alice is never left without somewhere to stay and when she comes by their farm, she leaves with a belly fuller than her pigs and as much love as her heart can carry. Hell, she’ll occasionally throw some good advice his way about how it’s sometimes okay to be selfish over the time they get with their children and that helps Killian take full advantage of it. It’s something Alice wants, but Killian thinks she wants to focus on the rest of her life too so he doesn’t butt in, but it’s Zelena who helps him see the light.
