The younger man started stammering some incoherent things and quickly averted his gaze, which Louis thought was absolutely adorable. Harry looked at him, his brows furrowed together. “You’re not even that old,” the curly-haired man then said. “Older than you, I am,” Louis countered. “But not old old.” “I’ve got grey hairs,” Louis then said, focusing on Harry who seemed to definitely have a physical reaction to that. Harry had tried to mask it but the little sigh he let out was enough indication for Louis to say that Harry had already noticed the grey hairs. “I know,” Harry replied, there was something in his eyes, a playful look. Louis needed to look away otherwise he was sure he’d have this boy pushed up against the nearest tree. Who thought the hike was a good idea again?

In the world of ballet the term 'pas de deux' means a dance sequence for two dancers. In reality, a concept like this is a little harder to moderate and achieve. Solo dancers exist for a reason. Now the big question is, how will a solo dancer go from dancing alone to 'pas de deux'?

Harry Styles is filthy rich, the son of a prima ballerina and a well-known musician, and he is surrounded by the walls he built around himself, which are extremely hard to break down. Louis Tomlinson attends CEA with a scholarship and is alien to the world of the rich and elite. Niall Horan dances in the corps, he is addicted to Capri-Sun drinks and plays every instrument known to mankind. Zayn Malik is the mysterious yet calm artistic roommate everyone dreams of having and Liam Payne is way too focused on producing music.

All these boys attend the Conservatoire of the Exquisite Arts and when it's announced that they will perform The Nutcracker, dancing starts to mean something else entirely.

‘They’re pretty, aren’t they?’ A voice then called and Louis looked up. His eyes met the gorgeous bright green eyes of the shop’s owner, whose name was Harry. The little name tag showed his name in curly handwriting, everything about him was just pretty. The shop, which was a little shop on the corner of the street, painted sage green on the outside while being a lovely blue shade on the inside. A white bench stood outside, displaying a few other flower arrangements, inside there was a little fountain and a lot of other flowers. And then there was Harry, the shop’s owner.

Hi everyone! I am so sorry to keep you waiting so long, I had a busy exam period and soon after that, I fell quite sick. Once I had finally recovered from that I got Covid. All in all, my life has been all over the place.

I am also extremely elated to tell you that it was TMWYB's birthday on the 8th of February! I cannot believe that I started this story about a year ago and we're almost 200K words in. Naturally, writing takes a lot of time, proofreading and having my beats/alpha reader review everything is a hassle in these times. Lately, I have been also helping and betaing my friend's work, so that's extremely exciting!

Anyway, here is chapter 12. I am terribly sorry for the long wait. I have a lot in store for everyone with this part. It is going to take some time to upload and edit everything while writing new chapters at the same time. Also, I recently finished writing chapter 30, and honestly, I cannot believe how far along with my story I am.
