The air was fresh and carried the scent of earth and old growth. Giants stood in the mist, their tall forms cradling the sky. The path ran through, dirt turned mud, beaten by the travel of countless boots. Green ferns flanked as the guard of honor, observing in silence. Where does the path lead a man who walks alone? What stories do these ancient sentinels whisper with every rustle of their green needles?

Why does the forest fill one with a mix of solitude and companionship? How can something so unchanged by time feel so alive?

Nature: Redwood Forests

The redwoods, once seen, leave a mark or create a vision that stays with you always. No one has ever successfully painted or photographed a redwood tree. The feeling they produce is not transferable. From them comes silence and awe. It's not only their unbelievable stature, nor the color which seems to shift and vary under your eyes, no, they are not like any trees we know, they are ambassadors from another time.
