Recalled update! So I am here to yell about it for 30 minutes thanks :)
*Scrambling to escape the void that has consumed me over the last few weeks.*
HI, ITS ME
Okay, so we've got a recalled update! Im very excited and have been pouring over this update for a while.
Uni is consuming my life haha.
they are headed towards the castle while having some very important discussions. Mainly, what on earth do we call you all. (Which in its own right I find amusing haha. )

I love group photos of any Calabar, it's awesome to see them all together. And watching fabrics flow is detail that I am obsessed with thank you.

Its the blorbo, look at hims.
Also i love how chill he is about this. Like, 'oh more problems? Awesome, I needed something to do today' kind of vibe I love it.
Sky's walking stick! I love how inclusive of all sorts of things this AU is i thoroughly enjoy it. He gives me the I can kill you with this walking stick, but also have you met my wife vibes and i love him.
Time and Malon running off like this brings me great joy i love them.
And, sky. Are we talking about your journey or something else cause that's pretty ominous there. foreshadowing? Are we gonna get more about the past of these heroes at one point I'd love to know more about them.
It is a massive Hyrule, espically when you think about just how long it takes to get across each of them in-game. Wild's game it actually takes so long to get across even just Hyrule field.
Time please step back from the edge you're giving me anxiety.

Malon and Time are the absolute chaos of the group. Just look at them, Time has obviously never seen something like this and so him being the one who's like basically fallen over here makes so much sense.
Got me cackling again tho, I love this group of idiots a healthy amount.

I was thinking about it tho... And the sailcloths they are identical. And we know they are married...
What if the sailcloths are a sign of marriage in this universe? Why else would they both have the same one, down to the blue outline on the edge that is closest to them. Like you give your lover a meaningful symbol to show your love for them, and in Sky's case he made a sailcloth for sun after she made the one he's wearing for him during the events of Skyward sword.
I think its the same one because his one looks significantly bigger than hers, which to me tells of a practical use as well as a decorative or symbolic piece. 332

Have I mentioned how much I love Captain? Cause he is just so chill, but also professional. Professionally chill? Sure.
I can see a stressful situation coming up, and he just is the stoic leader who gets everyone in line and ready to fight the threat.
And flower, Who is just so sweet. I can understand not wanting to be referred to as princess now that their Hyrule is like how it is. I'm surprised this hasn't come up sooner. But it's cute.
Oh the silent princess. How symbolic you are.
I know people are not really into the flower thing but I am, you think we will see some nightshade at one point?
The flower.
The 2 flower heads, one open, one closed, The blue into white. With the yellow detail. It's Flowers colour pallet to a T and I love it. Maybe as we progress through the story we will see pictures of the silent princess again but with a flowering bud or maybe if something bad happens a slightly sad looking one?
I am obsessed with symbolism, so if those become a thing watch this space cause I will be excited about it!
(In fact looking at it I think, the stem in the middle and the yellow on her clothes are colour-matched. A nice detail!)

The JL keeps trying to stop Captain Marvel from talking to the media (and it’s not working)
The jl held a meeting about marvel’s conduct with cops bc he got a little too excited and suplexed a cop completely fucking forgetting he’s a 7ft buff ass man (the video goes viral for months) and the press is having a fucking field day with this bc ‘Captain Marvel Hates The Government!’ ‘Justice League Member, Captain Marvel, Shows His True Colors…?’ ‘Fawcett Superhero Attacks Civilian!’ ‘Captain Marvel Sends Police Officer to ICU!’ ‘Philadelphia Hero Puts Public Servant In Coma’ and shit like that is on the front page of every newspaper, magazine, and tabloid for the next eight months at least
so they’re like ‘hey you gotta say something! The people think you hate the us government esp the police!’ and he’s just sitting there confused before he says very slowly and clearly ‘But I do…I fucking despise them’
Barry and Hal are fucking losing it bc this is the guy that says ‘darn!’ in the heat of battle and has said on multiple occasions ‘Well, that’s not very nice, now is it?’ to opponents that destroy worlds for fun
like this guy still tries very hard not to make faces at the broccoli on his plate in front of the jl (and fails)

There's something about the phrasing of "must die," how that's specifically haunting for Jim to hear, both because of his ideals and his past on Tarsus IV as one of the last survivors of Kodos' massacre. But to have Spock's life endangered twice after the "you must let the woman you love die or the future, millions of others' lives, and your own life will be lost" episode? And to have Jim himself ask, "Why must he die?" after the episode where Spock was ready to be killed if a cure wasn't found for the parasitic creatures inducing madness in their hosts, and in that same episode Jim--unprompted--tells Spock, "I need you" and never once suggests getting a replacement First Officer? God. I need to lie down.

I had Hyrule Warriors on my mind today, so I decided to design what Time looked like back then. He's just a littol guy. Just a small dude. He has such a baby face for being 15 years old
I also headcanon that he didn't know Hylian back then, and spoke using fairy translators. Then Captain, being the awesome older brother that he is, helped him learn to sign and speak.

Captain is from the AU 'Recalled' and I highly suggest you read the comics!!! I'm HIGH KEY obsessed with him and another hero in the comic so expect a few more of theses headcanons hfajfhakj
Relationship: Captain x gn!reader

This man is SUCH a gentleman!!! He's one of, if not THE, sweetest men in Hyrule. You kinda expected a kind soul out of a hero but you could never really expect the sheer gentleness the Captain could give!
A FEW examples of this would be; If you trip or slip on your travels you will always see the Captain's arm reaching out to catch you-- if you don't catch yourself! He also is quick to lend you his scarf or other items if you seem to be even the SLIGHTEST bit colder than you normally are. The man offers you his meals if he notices you are still hungry even after having your own portion. HELL he's even the type of guy that would take your shopping bags/adventuring bags if he noticed you were far too tired!
Normally, Captain would do most (but not all) of that stuff even if he didn't have a romantic interest in you BUT OOO BOY is the man HOPELESSLY WHIPPED when it comes to you <3
You can now expect all sorts of small, but charming gifts from him! His gifts can be a range from beautiful jewelry that compliments your complexion to a 'T' or pretty wild flowers he plucked when out on a patrol.
Though, most of the time the Captain can be...a little shy when handing you these gifts so dont be tooo surprised when you find these little gifts laying on your bedroll or carefully stuffed into your pack!
OH AND YOU BETTER BET THAT THIS MAN IS CALLING ALLLLL SORTS OF SWEET ENDEARMENTS!!!!!
Beloved, My grace, Sweetsong, Darling AND SO MANY MOREEE!!!! He loves you so much and wants you to know that through every word he speaks to you
He's the type of guy who kisses each of your knuckles after a bad dream, planting the softest of touches along you hand and wrists to show you were real, show you were alive and show he was there with you
But this boy, is also very protective of you <3 He will never leave your side in a fight, only if he knew another was in desperate need of his aid. He keeps his eyes trained on you when in crowded areas, maybe even holding onto the back of your clothes as he trails behind you.
Captain loves you, very very deeply, and if his actions can not speak for themselves he isn't afraid of telling you just how he feels.

Gosh, rewatching OUAT, I love what a cringefail loser Hook is. Man got Worf Effected straight out of the gate. He's introduced all cool and suave and capable, and he proceeds to be absolutely destroyed in every fight, ever. Good grief, he's 0 for 2 against Belle of all people; not to knock my girl Belle, but she's not what I would consider a front-line combatant.
What's the percentage breakdown of scenes ending with him being knocked out? 40%? What does his MRI look like? It can't be good. Did he become redeemed purely by the power of traumatic brain injury? How many times has this man been flung fully across a room? I think his ribs are dust held together by tenacity.

Captain Cold, presumably at some kind of night club for supervillains: Okay, I gotta call bullshit. There's no way there's enough ladies with gigantificatin powers to have your own gang.
Giganta: Is so, and I'm fishing for us to go by the 'Pretty Dang Tall Ladies Gang'. It's funny, its technically true, it might not have the punch of the Rogues but it works.
Cold: So do you... like, exclusively fight shrinking heroes? Is that the gimmick?
Giganta: My dating preferences don't map to the whole gang's gimmick. Honestly I guess we'll take whoever we can get. I can tell you one thing. There's no way in hell we're fighting Elastiwoman if I can help it.
Cold: The... strchy, grow-tall lady from the Doom Patrol?
Giganta: Yeah, her.
Cold: What's the big deal? Issues with the Doom Patrol villains?
Giganta: No, but if I can avoid having to deal with them, all the better. Have you SEEN the people she fights? Makes the villains from Gotham look sensible.
Cold: So what's the issue with her?
Giganta: The issue is, fitting gimmick or not, fighting her is a pain in the ass because that woman has got the absolute most volatile, vicious temper I've seen in my goddamn life, and even if you OBVIOUSLY have got a battle of giants theme going on, the second she gets even slightly impatient or annoyed she's going to grow to half a mile tall and kick you so hard that you'll end up leaving atmosphere.
Cold: That is INCREDIBLY specific. Is this from personal experience.
Giganta: Maybe. I'm thinking about sending a apology basket to Wonder Woman for all the times we fought, having a giant shoeprint scar in your gut hurts like hell and now I feel bad for doing that to her, maybe.
