You know, I think my favorite thing about Gale's whole "watching you in battle makes me horny" scene is like. He's not wrong. A brush with danger does in fact increase one's desire for "other forms of stimulation". Studies have shown that being in situations that cause a rush of adrenaline, be that going on a roller coaster, seeing a scary movie, walking across a swinging suspension bridge, or something else, increase feelings of attraction. It's literally a Known Thing that adventurous stuff is great to do on a date because it will most likely make you more into each other.
Idk, I just love that his come-on is not only extremely nerdy, but also scientifically accurate. Feels correct and I'm glad they did it lol

One thing that playing as a Selunite puts emphasis that I really like is that, after saving Aylin up until her personal quest in act 3, Shadowheart isn't actually ready to commit to serving Selune?
There's some hints of it in any playthrough, but if you play as a Selunite there's a few dialogue options where you can talk about her becoming closer to the Moonmaiden and she'll just be kinda like "after all I just went through with my goddess I'm a little hesitant to jump right to another one"
It's good because she *should* get that mourning period before deciding to serve another higher power(or if she even wants to serve one at all but Shadowheart's faith is important to her at the end of the day), but also because it makes clear that Selune is granting her her divine powers even without receiving worship in return

Rose's Day of Asks
Top 5 umbrellas in bl.
Have a great Day💜
This took me a minute to get to because I had to work and then I had to go and find screenshots because I have something to say about umbrellas in BL.
I'll get to my top 5 in a moment, but first I need to talk about how my top 5 are ALL in 1000 Years Old because that show is the only show with any vision.
Because 90% of BLs have decided that clear umbrellas are the only umbrellas (pardon my horrendous screenshots):
Don't get me wrong, I have no problems with clear umbrellas. I own a couple myself. HOWEVER. Clear? Really? That's all they can manage? In these queer shows, they can't even give their umbrellas any flair? Listen, I have a clear umbrella but it is kind of chrome. It's got style. It's got flair. It's got flavor. I need these shows to give me something. I digress.
There are a few that have a basic umbrella that is a dark, solid color:
Shoutout to Blueming though, that umbrella does look like the most practical and useful umbrella out of all of these.
BUT other than 1000 Years Old, the umbrella winner is Love in the Air with this yellow beauty that fits the characters and the lighting in the scene:
But for my top 5 umbrellas in BL?
5. This beauty:
4/3. Look at the COLOR
2. Absolutely obsessed with this one and need it immediately:
And the number 1 umbrella in BL? It can be none other than this beauty. Not only is it gay, but it looks like a phenomenal umbrella to use. That's an umbrella that will keep you dry.

I used to watch Grian way back in Hermitcraft S1 so seeing you post about it actually makes me insanely nostalgic lmao. Nice to hear about people I haven’t watched in years :)
I can only imagine the nostalgia you must be feeling, omw - S1 was over a decade ago, from what I gather Hermitcraft has changed soo much since then
Thanks for sharing that nugget of information, my mind is genuinely blown

what’s some of your favourite things abt sun and moon?
well for starters their voice is really good ♡
but one of my absolute favorite things about them is how heavily their design influences how they act, while also reflecting them as a character
cause their face is literally like a mask they can't take off.. so they have to perform and exaggerate their own emotions to compensate for it, or risk coming off as unexpressive and creepy. but in doing this, they make themselves into their own caricature and it becomes doubtful how much of their perfomance is actually sincere or not..... plus the fact we don't know how truly separate they are leads to a lot of different ways to interpret them, which i really enjoy
it also makes the book's backstory of them coming from the theater make so much sense, because then all of this is actually contextualized and makes sense!!
plus they literally have comedy and tragedy mask collectibles in the game... and those masks are also on the banner for the theater anyway... so it'd be fair to assume it's at least somewhat canon regardless of what's in the books lmao

this is definitely an unpopular opinion if the current discourse is anything to go by but i actually like that astarion loses the ability to walk in the sun if he remains a spawn. i think it makes his decision not to ascend more meaningful
sacrificing the power he wants without gaining anything for it, and in fact losing something, is a huge choice for astarion and if the game pulled a deus ex machina at the end and gave him some magic fix it would have cheapened that choice for me
