#ravus x reader

Hiii ! I’m at my aunt’s house but I got enough Wi-fi to send my request 🎉. Could you please write a touch starved and really clingy reader with Ardyn and maybe Ravus or Gladiolus ? I don’t know if you write for the others but I love them sm jdkdbxk ANYWAYS love your writing it’s so pleasing to read ! You’re one of my fav writers on tumblr even tho I just discovered you!! Have a nice day !!
Oh thank you so much! And I’ll write for almost anyone in the game
But this will be my first time writing for Gladiolus specifically
I hope you don’t mind it being headcanons since I am going to do all three!
Trigger warnings: none
🗡️Ardyn 🗡️
✧ Ardyn wouldn’t never shame you for being touch starved, especially if he knows the reasons as to why.
Hell, he’s a bit touch starved too after everything he’s been through as well.
So you’ll both have your moments of needing extra attention, it’s just Ardyn has learned to hide it more and suppress it.
~~~~~~~
✧ If you’re having a day where it is particularly bad, Ardyn will do his best to try and comfort you through it.
Like telling you that everything is going to be alright, cuddling, just making sure that he’s near you until he sees that you’re alright.
I can see Ardyn reading as he has his arm wrapped around you while you’re also doing your own thing.
He’ll make sure you have moments like that with him. No matter the time of day.
~~~~~~~
✧ Now with the clinginess, he really understands, but he tries to slowly get you out of that habit.
He has to travel a lot and he doesn’t want you having a near breakdown when he isn’t there.
Ardyn won’t do anything big at first, just small things to slowly become less clingy.
It’s not that he finds it annoying, he just overly worried and wants to make sure you’re alright.
And Ardyn definitely has his moments where he can be clingy, but again, he hasn’t experienced love in so long so he can sometimes get a tad bit carried away.
But you two are definitely in it together!
~~~~~~~
✧ Even though he’s the villain, Ardyn used to be good guy, and he had a lover of his own. So I can see him being great at comforting when he needs to be.
And like I said before, he has his own issues so there’ll be times where you’ll have to help him out too.
You both can be a clingy mess on bad days.
But I guess it actually works out a bit.
~~~~~~~
✧ Overall, you both help each other through the problems you have, each having a reason as to why you have them.
And he’ll always be there for when you need him, just like you’ll be there for him too!
So you two really balance one another out.
~~~~~~~
🤍 Ravus 🤍
✧ Because of losing his parents at a young age and the empire taking over his kingdom, Ravus is also very touch starved and clingy to those he really cares about.
So the both of you can also be a very clingy mess.
And like Ardyn, he’d hide it. But that is also because he kind of has to do to the empire.
But he’ll do his best to help you. When he has the time of course.
~~~~~~~
✧ He can definitely relate to how you feel so he can get an idea on what to do and how to help, even if it’s just sitting in each other’s company on a couch.
Ravus wouldn’t mind something like that at all
In fact, he’ll even try to set aside time so you two can have moments like these.
But that’s only when you two have known each other for a while and you’re deep in a relationship.
He unfortunately has an image he has to uphold.
~~~~~~~
✧ There are days where the two of you can just spend hours doing nothing but sitting in silence, but you’re both content with it.
Sometimes it’s all about the presence and not the talking.
Ravus understands that a lot and relishes in moments like that.
Unfortunately they just don’t happen often enough.
But he tries to make time for them to happen.
~~~~~~~
✧ Like with Ardyn too, Ravus has days where it’s harder to mask so you’ll have to help him.
Which you never mind, you’ll definitely give him the same love and curtesy that he’s given you all those other times.
Even if he denies that he needs it.
He’ll soften up if he sees cuddling or any form of hugging is going to be involved.
Ravus definitely returns the favor for you as well. Almost immediately too.
~~~~~
🖤Gladiolus🖤
✧ Out of the three, Gladio is not as touch starved, but he does do his damndest to make sure you know you’re loved and all that.
He may not be all too good with words, but his actions are louder!
Much louder.
~~~~~~~
✧ If you have bad days where things are worse, Gladio will offer to go out and do something in each other’s company.
Even if it’s something like working out or going to his favorite ramen shop.
He is also someone who wouldn’t mind just sitting down with a good book while you either read or do whatever you want near him.
Actions are definitely easier for him to handle.
~~~~~~~
✧ You might’ve had to explain a little bit about how you are and why, but he understands.
I feel like he has a harder time with emotional things and tries to tackle the problem head on, which can be good, sometimes.
But he quickly learns that this is not something that can be dealt with so easily.
He means well, but he can be a himbo at times.
~~~~~~~
✧ There are times he has seemed a tad bit insensitive, but it has always been a misunderstanding and he means well.
Again, emotions are not his strong suit so you’ll have to be patient with him.
Gladio will definitely to his best to make you feel content and loved in the best ways he knows how.
Cuddles.
~~~~~~~
I know it took a while and it’s short for as long as it took, but I hope you enjoy!
Do give me feedback if you have any!
Ravus x reader who where friends before the fall of tenebrae and got separated during the chaos, the y find eachother again in Altissia before its attacked
now ravus is def one of the og babygirls if you don't think so argue with the wall.
nav.
You think to yourself, well how did you get into this situation?
For all intents and purposes, you were a plain Altissian diplomat preparing for the arrival of the Prince of Lucis and his entourage. Now you were in a hotel across the city surrounded by soldiers of Niflheim, and sitting from you, is a pair of familiar siblings. You were aware of their presence too, as they had 'accompanied' the Oracle. (Everyone else knew that she was essentially a hostage.) But Secretary Claustra, your boss, had instructed you to go about as normal, something far more easily said than done.
You clear your throat, and a cup of now lukewarm tea in your hands is still full. You did not have it in yourself to take even a sip, much less snack on any of the delicious-looking tea cakes being offered to you.
"It truly has been some time, but I am delighted to see you doing well," is what Lunafreya breaks the silence with. Quite frankly you're just glad that she is here. At least you could still get the feeling that she was the same kindhearted girl you had met years prior. Ravus on the other hand? You could only hide your grimace so well. But you couldn't blame him for that.
"Same here, Lady Lunafreya, I have fond memories of our childhood, and while it is a bit late, you have my congratulations on your upcoming nuptials as well," Your smile is tight. Polite and practiced, but you could only hope she knows that truly, you were glad she was happy.
"Please call me Luna."
"Luna it is."
The short conversation continues without any problems. An attendant, who seems just as nervous as you were, is announced at the doorway. With so many gazes on her, she stutters that it was another fitting for the Oracle's wedding gown.
Lunafreya smiles gently, more for the young woman's sake than anything, as the poor thing shook like a leaf. Before quietly excusing herself, she takes your hands in her own, giving them a gentle squeeze. Ravus only nods in response to her goodbyes for the afternoon. You hear her footsteps, alongside the attendant and the guards assigned to her, retreating down the hall.
Which left you awkwardly sipping at the same cup of tea you had received when you sat down.
"I am... I am glad that you are doing well too," You almost miss it. Placing your teacup down onto the small saucer, you see now that it was Ravus being far more hesitant now that Lunafreya was gone.
A part of you thinks, that maybe he had not changed as much as you thought he did. As you grew up in Tenebrae, you had considered Ravus just as much of a friend as you did for Lunafreya, best friends even. But then, it all went terribly wrong, as all things in this world seemed wont to do, and now you had made it here.
"You don't need to be a stranger Ravus," Your tone is much lighter, "If I remember, you were the chatty one, even talking us out of trouble for a lot of your pranks."
Across from you, you might have thought he blushed. Poorly hidden behind your hand, you snort.
"I suppose not," He agrees. For a time, it was just you both reminiscing about your shared childhood. But like all good things, this meeting too comes to an end. You hesitate in saying goodbye because it sounds final. Like with Lunafreya, you take Ravus' hands into your own, much to Ravus' surprise when you even take hold of his metal one too.
Promises to meet again, such as when the wedding preparations and the summoning of the Leviathan were over, were made. You collect your things and make your way out.
Naively you hope that things can stay like this for a while. Yet when you stare outside into the waters surrounding Altissia, all you feel is unease.
We Are Worthy Pt.1
Relationship: Ravus Nox Fleuret/Female!Reader
Summary: As the eldest of the Lucis Caelum line, you are to be wed to Ravus Nox Fleuret. Noctis isn't pleased by this discovery and finds out just how much you two have been hiding from him. And, well, truthfully, he can't fight back against what fate has in store without both of you helping.
AU: I just had this random AU idea come in my head. The explanation of it is: you are Noctis's older sister (around 28 or so- same age as Ravus) but since you are a woman, you cannot be the True King and aren't a part of the prophecy (to keep Noctis's place). Ravus here isn't as hellbent on destroying Lucis/Regis (for purposes that will be explained later), and him and Reader team up privately to save their siblings from the prophecy. It'll make a bit more sense as it goes along (trust me bro). This chapter focuses a bit more on Noctis and Reader, but the next one will be more about Ravus/Reader and their relationship. Concrit is always welcome and appreciated <3 please enjoy!
Crossposted on my AO3!
Noctis frowned as Gladiolus opened the passenger door for you.
You gave him a gracious smile and stepped into the car, promptly fastening your seatbelt and sitting with perfect posture.
“My lady, are you comfortable?” Ignis asked, and you nodded.
“I’m fine, thank you, Ignis,” you replied, bowing your head respectfully.
“Then we shall be off,” he murmured, starting the engine of the car.
Prompto was giddy with excitement and snapped a few photos of the scenery and everyone in the Regalia.
“So, you excited to get hitched, (Y/n)?” Prompto joked and Ignis shot a glare at him in response. The photographer seemed to take the hint and awkwardly clammed up. “Uh, I mean, well, uh- you excited to get married?”
“There’s no need to worry, Prompto,” you chuckled. “I am not sure how I feel, in all honesty. I’m just proud to do my people a good service with this marriage.”
“Ah, the politically correct answer as always,” Noctis sighed. You didn’t say a word back, not giving Noctis the chance to argue over this matter again. “Seriously, you’re not gonna even answer?”
“No. This doesn’t warrant a discussion, Noctis,” your voice lowered into a threatening tone that said you would not tolerate his behavior.
He glowered at you and huffed, folding his arms and pouting like a spoiled child.
“Hey now, you two, let’s take it easy. I know the wedding jitters can get rough, but let’s play nice, okay?” Gladiolus attempted to break the awkward silence.
“My apologies,” you stated as you took a sip of water to calm yourself.
“Whatever,” was all Noctis had to say.
“What’s the issue? Did something happen?” Prompto asked, confused why you and your brother seemed to be at each other’s throats. Gladiolus eyed him, warning him to drop the subject, but Prompto didn’t notice.
“The issue,” Noctis began, making Gladiolus and Ignis roll their eyes and sigh in annoyance. “Is that my sister is getting married to some guy, and neither her nor my father told me! And now she’s acting like a martyr who needs to go through this!”
“Firstly-” you countered, “Ravus Nox Fleuret is not ‘some guy’- have more respect for him. Second off, it’s a political marriage- it’s not up to you to decide what I need to do.”
“You could have at least argued with him! Hell, I could’ve married Luna instead! You didn’t need to do this for Lucis!”
“Why does it matter anyways? I don’t have that choice. I am not the heir apparent.”
“And that’s the issue, don’t you get it?” Noctis leaned over the seat to talk closer to you. “You don’t have a choice, and that’s what’s making me upset! You don’t need to do this just because dad said so. We could have figured something out.”
Ignis shook his head.
“Prince Noctis, we’ve been through this plenty of times now. It is imperative the marriage goes through for the sake the kingdoms. The treaty being negotiated is one that will bring peace. And though it is a shame that Princess (Y/N) can’t choose, it is her duty as a member of the royal family to think of the people.
“Thank you, Ignis. At least someone understands my position.”
“Not everyone can be perfect like you, I guess,” Noctis mumbled under his breath.
“Noctis, enough. Come on, it’s a week before her wedding. Let’s spend it not trying to argue,” Gladiolus suggested.
“Great idea!” Prompto yelled. He gasped loudly and leaned towards Ignis. “Hey, Iggy, pull over! I wanna take this shot of the mountain!”
“Prompto, we will not-”
“Let him,” you cut Ignis off. “His photos are rather lovely to see. They’ll be a nice memento in the future.”
You grinned at Prompto and his smile grew wider than usual. Ignis pulled the car to the side of the road and put it in park.
“Thanks, (Y/n)!”
“Prompto! What did we tell you about titles?” Ignis shouted as Prompto unbuckled his seat belt and practically leapt over the others to take a few photos. You didn’t argue, instead getting out of the car and asking Prompto to take a few shots with you in them. The blonde complied, posing you and taking all sorts of pictures.
“Do you all want to join in?” You asked. Ignis shook his head, while Gladiolus shrugged and joined you and Prompto to take some photos. Noctis meanwhile stared at you before pouting even harder than before.
Night drew closer and Ignis decided to rest and camp for the time being. Given your status and impending marriage, you had your own separate tent, away from the others. While you did appreciate the privacy, you were rather upset with the larger distance it created emotionally.
But you could not argue, and instead, after eating a wonderful meal whipped up by Ignis, you went straight to your tent.
You glanced at Noctis and debated with yourself if you should attempt to talk with him. You hated the fighting and the distance this treaty had put between you two. And, of course, the real truth behind the reason they were with you. When Regis revealed the treaty to Noctis, he was enraged and begged for your father to consider a different path.
The subsequent arguments between you and Noctis left you feeling even more hurt at the fact you had to lie to him to his face.
But it was for him and for the people. You were a woman, and thus, you had no stake within the kingdom or the prophecy. Noctis, on the other hand, was more crucial to it all. You didn’t mind being the sacrificial lamb for this moment, if it ensured the safety of your younger brother.
Ravus was more than happy to agree with you, if it meant his sister could be safe, too.
That’s why you understood where Noctis was coming from, given he was so adamant that you be able to choose your own happiness for once. But him and Lunafreya were much too important to the kingdom, and to you and Ravus.
Still, you remembered the oath you gave to your father as you said your farewells to him. A promise you had to make to lie to Noctis about the truth. So you quietly zipped the door to your tent closed and hoped your tears wouldn’t be heard from them.
Noctis grumbled at the remaining vegetables on his plate as the fire crackled under the starry sky. He hadn’t said a word since the fight in the Regalia, and he was too angry and hurt to begin a conversation.
Prompto was goofing off with Gladiolus and Ignis was impatiently waiting for the prince to eat his carrots.
“You know, they’re not going to disappear just by staring at them, your highness,” Ignis cheekily commented.
“Yeah, yeah, you don’t need to remind me, Iggy.”
Ignis frowned at the sulking prince and sat in the chair beside him.
“Noctis, I know how you’re feeling-”
“The thing is, you don’t. Like, I really love you all, but none of you know how I’m feeling,” Noctis argued. He was cursing himself for raising his voice, and he took a deep breath to try and relax. “None of you do. And I’m pissed that everyone else is just accepting everything so easily.”
“And why’s that?”
“Because, (Y/n)’s my sister, damn it! She was the one always with me, but then all these ‘royal duties’ made her have to give up her life. I just end up sitting there like a little kid while she’s shouldering everything,” Noctis blurted out. “I feel like shit knowing she’s just marrying Ravus because dad told her to. I-I could’ve done something for once so she would have the freedom to choose. I thought because she wasn’t the heir that she would at least be able to find someone she loved, but she can’t even have that!”
Ignis nodded, pursing his lips as he debated to find the right words to say.
“Listen, Noctis, it is unfortunate but it is-”
“Yeah, don’t worry, I know, everyone’s told me over and over. ‘It’s just what royalty has to do’, but that’s not right at all! It’s just… it’s just not fair. I hate seeing her lie to me that she’s ‘fine’ and okay with marrying Ravus. I don’t even think she had met the guy in years! What kind of prince am I if I can’t even let my own sister be happy?”
“Have you considered that you both are saying the same thing?” Ignis asked.
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“I mean that I may not know Lady (Y/n) well, but I know her well enough to see she loves you dearly. She wants you to choose and be free from the duties of royalty, because she feels you aren’t happy as the heir. You both want the other to be okay but neither of you are working together. And, well, maybe I’m overstepping, but perhaps you should try and talk to her with that mindset. Don’t go attack her, just try and let her know how you feel and that you wish to help alongside her. ”
Noctis soaked in Ignis’s words and nodded.
“Yeah… I guess… but knowing her, I doubt she’ll listen. She’s so stubborn.”
“Like some young prince I know?”
Noctis chuckled and smacked Ignis’s arms lightly.
“Shut up,” Noctis joked. He let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding and stared at his plate. “I just… don’t know how I’m gonna last without my sister around, anymore. I don’t know if I’m really ready to say goodbye to her like that.”
“That’s just what every brother feels,” a voice cut in. Noctis looked up to see Gladiolus and Prompto walking towards him and Ignis.
“How much of that did you hear?”
“Enough to know how worried you really are,” Gladiolus groaned as he sat down. “Kid, some things just aren’t always going to go how you want. And even though you’re family, you can’t hold them down forever. No matter how badly I wanna protect Iris from everything, I know it’s not a reality. You’re gonna have to let them make their own choices and be their own person. Don’t go around picking a fight, just support her and protect her when she needs it.”
Noctis felt his eyes water and he quickly rubbed them.
“Damn, I’m really not good with this.”
Prompto threw an arm around Noctis and gave him a reassuring smile.
“Hey, Noct, don’t worry! We’ll be here for you all the way.”
“Thanks guys,” Noctis murmured as his lips twitched into a small grin. “I’ll try and talk to her later.”
-
Unfortunately for Noctis, “later” would have to be postponed. According to the newspaper, Regis was killed during the signing of the treaty. The rage and sadness he felt were only blocked by the slim chance that this was all fake and sensationalized news. Perhaps his father was alive still and nothing happened.
Despite your adamance that it was too dangerous, you yielded and obliged to joining the men back to Insomnia. Noctis saw your ‘perfect’ exterior falter with worry and unease, seeing how Regis’s death was shaking you up. It was the first time in a while that he had seen you look so unsure and zoned out.
The confirmation of Insomnia’s collapse and Regis’s death both put his mind at ease and made his soul shatter into a million pieces. He didn’t know what to think anymore. All he had to go off of now was Cor telling them to meet him up at Hammerhead.
With nothing left to do, they simply drove the Regalia to the gas station and followed the rest of the directions to where Cor was.
Noctis really wasn’t in the mood for surprises or any more shocking information.
Which is why he was incredibly pissed the minute he saw a head of white hair wearing black leather.
“Why you-” Noctis began, stomping over to him before he heard you gasp.
“Ravus! You’re alive!” You happily shouted, running over to him and leaping to the man. He caught you in his arms and stumbled before he managed to regain his balance.
“Darling, you’re doing well. Thank the Six,” he sighed in relief. You two embraced each other and Noctis gawked at the scene.
“W-wait. Time out. What the hell is going on? Why is he here? What are you-”
“Patience, Noctis,” Cor stated.
“You two… what is going on?” Ignis asked, confused at why Ravus of all people was standing before him. You broke yourself off of Ravus and stood firmly in front of the group.
“Well… it’s a lot. I first want to apologize for hiding the truth from you all. But I made an oath with father as his dying wish. We couldn’t make others aware of our plans.”
“And… he was in on it?” Prompto pointed at Ravus.
“Precisely.”
“And what was the plan, exactly?”
“It was just as Cid said. Regis knew and anticipated something would happen. Ravus tried to send some information our way in order to prepare, but it seems like they weren’t enough. Although, thankfully, many of our citizens survived thanks to father’s prepping. Ravus and I were the ‘bait’ for this treaty, if it succeeded, we would have peace, and if it didn’t at least you all would be safe.”
“Does that mean Lunafreya is-”
Ravus nodded.
“She is safe for now on the run. She has the Ring of the Lucii with her and can hopefully find shelter,” he explained.
Noctis shook his head.
“I can’t believe you two.”
“Pardon?”
Noctis stepped forward and pointed an accusatory finger at you.
“You… you did all this? You knew he was planning on dying? You knew this whole time, and yet you didn’t say a thing?”
“I didn’t like it, Noctis. But it was the way father suggested I do it. He was the one who made me promise not to tell you until after the battle,” you couldn’t face your brother and gazed at the ground in remorse.
Noctis felt his anger boiling over and yelled.
“You lied to me! Why would you do that to me? I’m his son, too! I’m your brother! Why wouldn’t you tell me?” His voice lost its power as the tears he was holding in overflowed in abundance. “Why didn’t you trust me…?”
You bit your lip and stayed silent, unsure of what to say. Ravus rested a comforting hand on your shoulder and looked Noctis straight in the eye.
“She was adamant that you be the one to know. Regis and I were the ones who didn’t want that. Truly… all (Y/n) and I wanted was for you and Lunafreya to be alive and well. That’s why we had to formulate our own plans and stop this madness from continuing.”
“So you made her do this?”
“No, Noctis. I chose to do this. You can hate me and you have every right to do so. I did something inexcusable, but I need you to trust me right now.”
“Trust you? How can I? You spent this whole trip lying to every single one of us. Why would you do this when you could have talked to me? Did you think I would have messed it up?”
“I didn’t want you to be hurt, Noctis… you’re the important one here. Not me. I have no bearing upon the future, no matter how much I wish it weren’t so. You and Lunafreya are the ones meant to be a part of the prophecy. Me and Ravus wanted neither of you involved with the plans in order to keep you safe.”
“(Y/n), stop saying you want to keep me safe. I’m not that weak little kid you need to take care of anymore. Please…I need you to be safe as well.”
“But-”
“No. Stop,” he weakly pleaded. “Please. You two need to think of how this effects us. You may not be a part of the prophecy or whatever other bullshit there is, but you can’t go around throwing your life away. That doesn’t help me or anyone else.”
You quietly nodded and wrapped your arms around your brother.
“I’m sorry. I really am. But this part is one we need to do together, if you’ll allow it.”
Noctis quietly held you and sniffled.
“Yeah. Let’s hear it.”
You broke away from Noctis and pointed at the cave Cor was standing in front of.
“In there, there’s a tomb of the previous kings of Lucis. As it is your birthright, you can gain their powers and wield it. There are plenty more scattered about, and Cor is having the hunters locate them as we speak.”
Noctis nodded.
“Why can’t you do this?”
“Because… I’m not the True King.”
Noctis nodded.
He ran a hand through his hair and Ravus cleared his throat.
“Noctis Lucis Caelum,” he stated formally. He brought out a familiar sword and gently handed it to a stunned Noctis. “A parting gift from me. It belongs to you. It was… it was one of the few things I could grab from Regis before he passed.”
Noctis grabbed the hilt of the sword and felt his throat was full of cotton.
“I can’t take this.”
“What? Why not?” Ravus asked.
“I can’t use this. This is my dad’s. I’m not… I’m not ready for this yet.”
“But Noctis,” you cried. “It can only be wielded by those of the Lucis bloodline.”
Noctis gave a sad smile.
“Then you take it. For me. I can’t hold that when I’m not a king. Use it for yourself.”
He handed the sword back to you and you complied.
“All right. I trust you know what you’re doing.”
“I don’t really know,” Noctis admitted. “But I know that you can wield it better than I will. Dad would have wanted it.”
“I doubt he-”
“Don’t doubt it. Dad loved you. And I bet he wished every day of his life he could’ve given you more.”
You held the sword tightly against you, feeling the remnants of your father’s life within it.
“I already have enough with me,” you tearfully replied to Noctis. “I hope you and father know that.”
Noctis used the pads of his thumbs to wipe your tears.
“There. Come on, let’s go make dad proud.”
“Of course. Ravus,” you called to your betrothed. “Do you have to leave right now?”
“I think it would be best. I don’t want to loiter around and have you all get caught up in my mess. And to the rest of you,” Ravus pointed at the group. “You did not see me. I have no relation to you. I am your enemy.”
Prompto gasped.
“Why?” Ravus chuckled at the blonde’s shock.
“I must play my part to keep the Imperial Army off your back and Lunafreya’s. I can’t do that if they think I’m supporting you. So, act as if I was the traitor. And if you see Lunafreya… please… protect her.”
“We will, darling,” you pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Farewell.”
“I expect you to be back alive.”
“I will.”
“Good,” he smiled softly, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “I must be off now. Good luck on your journey.”
Ravus turned and began walking away, disappearing into the darkness.
Gladiolus was the first to speak, sauntering forward and laughing.
“So, you really managed to get hitched with him?”
“Oh for Six’s sake, Gladiolus!” You cried, your face erupting in red. “Have some manners!”
“Enough of the chit chat,” Cor interrupted. “You all got an important mission right now.”
Noctis nodded, stepping forward towards Cor.
“Alright, I’m ready. Take me to the tomb,” Noctis said, steeling his nerves for the task ahead.
He couldn’t run away now. Not this time.
His eyes flicked towards you as he saw you looking at where Ravus had walked away.
This time, he’d be the one to protect you and give you the chance to live your life.
That was a promise.
“Chancellor Izunia,” you said with relief, your shoulders relaxing slightly as you finally entered the security room he had been guiding you to. Chancellor Ardyn Izunia turned towards you, his head tilting curiously. The man usually gave you the creeps, but in this situation, you were just happy to see a human face. Besides, Ravus said you could trust him. Not that you really had any other options, and he had been reliable so far.
“There you are, my dear,” Ardyn said warmly. “I was beginning to worry. Zegnautus Keep really is no place for a girl such as yourself.”
“Yeah, I noticed,” you said, shuddering at the thought of the daemons roaming around in the dark, abandoned halls. Luckily, Ardyn had guided you past the worst of them. Still, the place was nightmare fuel.
“You came in search of your beloved,” Ardyn said in an overly saccharine tone. “Your loyalty is inspiring.”
“It’s not that,” you said. “When I thought he was dead-" You were unable to finish that thought so you just shook your head, the emotions swelling up in your chest all over again. “Nothing could be worse.”
“I understand, he’s the only family you have left.”
“Something like that,” you replied, clearing your throat. Now was not the time. You could weep later, hopefully with your arms wrapped around Ravus's shoulders. “Where is he?” you asked, approaching Ardyn and scanning the room. Like every other room in the facility, it showed clear signs of hasty abandonment, dimly lit with emergency lights and the security screens lining the wall behind Ardyn.
“Don’t you worry, he’ll join us shortly. I’m afraid he’s had a bit of a fall, but I don’t doubt that he’ll be able to pull it together.”
“He’s hurt?” you asked, your heart sinking.
“Take a look for yourself,” Ardyn said, stepping aside and gesturing to the screens. You did so, scanning each one in search of Ravus.
“I don’t see-” Something sharp bit into your neck. A squeak left your mouth, but by the time you reacted, it was too late. Whatever had been in the syringe was cold, you could feel it enter your veins. You turned, pressing yourself against the console, but it didn’t matter. Ardyn tossed away the used needle, smiling. You pressed a hand to your neck.
“What was that?” you demanded, horrified.
“Ah, just something I borrowed from the lab,” he told you. "Did you know that, for a time, they experimented with breeding daemons? Horrifying stuff, not even I would think up such a twisted test. And of course, no human subject was willing to take part in such depraved acts, they needed to find a way to make them more... amiable to their circumstances."
After the despair you had experienced, after the terror of sneaking through Zegnautus Keep, after everything, betrayal was still an incredibly potent emotion as you stared at Ardyn. “You tricked me,” you accused, your voice breathless, heartbroken.
“I said,” Ardyn told you, “that I would see you reunited with your beloved Ravus. And, as a point of fact, I believe I can hear him coming now.”
“What?” you asked, blinking fast. Were you beginning to feel dizzy, or was that just panic and hyperventilation? You needed to calm down, to control your breathing. Ravus would protect you from whatever sick trick Ardyn was pulling.
“Listen,” Ardyn told you. The only thing you could hear was your own heartbeat and your breathing. Both of them seemed to echo back to you, like your head was trapped in a claustrophobic space. Despite the rapid pace of your breaths, your chest was becoming heavier. Thicker, like the air wasn’t moving properly through your lungs.
“I can’t hear anything,” you said. The words sounded weaker than they should have, confused. You took a step forward, lurching when your legs gave out beneath you. Ardyn caught you, pulling you upright against him.
“Careful now, my dear,” he warned. Whatever he’d injected you with made your senses kick into overdrive. The rumbling of his voice was a physical sensation and it was almost as if you could feel every single place he was touching you. His clothes smelled like expensive cologne and the infectious rot of daemonic matter. Colors blurred, lights flared. Heat blazed beneath your flesh, a fever you hadn’t noticed until then. It made your clothes too heavy. Your skin was too heavy, dragging you down.
“No… Let me go.” You pushed weakly at his chest, but there was no real urgency to the action. Whatever he had given you was working fast, making you too weak to resist. With the way your head spun, there was a chance you’d be too weak to stay on your feet before long.
“Patience, darling. Patience. He’s almost here.”
Almost as if on Ardyn’s say-so, the door opened with a whoosh. Heavy, frightening footsteps entered. You turned to look, flinching away from the sight of the massive humanoid monster.
“Ah, there he is at last!" Ardyn exclaimed. "I just love seeing lovers reunited, especially after all that has happened. They say hard times only make for stronger bonds."
The daemon shambled in, the miasmic black of its body shining in the light from the monitors. It had a horn on one side of its head, the side that was nearly consumed by the daemonic matter, pulsing inhumanly with the beating of a heart. It seemed ot be choking on the viscous substance, letting out terrible, guttural choking noises. It’s other foot stumbled forward, allowing you to see it in full.
Stained white coat, stained pale hair-
“Ravus?” you asked in a horrified slur, staring at the inhuman monster with uncomprehending eyes. Ravus’s expression twisted, your horror echoed on his disfigured face.
“No,” he said with a pained wheeze.
“You have missed him, haven’t you? Why not give him a proper greeting.” Ardyn shoved you forward. You stumbled, tripping over your feet before falling against Ravus. He may as well have been a wall. A massive, man-shaped wall. You only came up to his elbow. Dizzy and uncoordinated and weak with fear, your legs did what they had been threatening and gave out beneath you, sending you backward and onto your ass. The pain didn’t register. The fall barely registered, it was as if you had been standing one moment and cut directly to the floor.
“That’s no good,” Ardyn said, frowning. “Though I suppose he never has been one for romance. I doubt if he ever gifted you flowers.”
You swayed, struggling to keep yourself upright with your arms. Heat coursed through your veins, pooling in your core. A steady, uncomfortable ache grew between your legs in spite of all sanity or situational awareness. It wasn’t like being turned on, there was no stimulation or lust to trigger the feeling. It was like being hungry, or having an especially persistent muscle ache. A problem that needed to be tended to, a primal need for satisfaction.
At the same time, reality was beginning to fall out around you. This didn’t make sense. Why were you here to begin with? You should have been evacuating, it wasn’t safe to be here. There were monsters everywhere, the world was ending.
Confused and uncomfortable, your breath hitched. You whimpered, beginning to cry. Ravus made a noise, drawing your wet eyes up to look at him. He looked down at you with an intensity you’d never experienced, an intensity you really couldn’t understand.
“You’re man enough to know what to do, aren’t you?” Ardyn asked. Ravus didn’t look away from you for even a second, staring down at you with a mixture of despair and predatory focus. “Look at the poor girl, she’s absolutely desperate. You wouldn’t want to leave her unsatisfied, not after she’s come all this way just to see you.”
Moving in ungainly jolts of motion, Ravus knelt in front of you, dropping his sword unceremoniously. You planted your feet on the floor, trying to scoot backwards, but your head was unbearably heavy, your arms trembled and wavered with the weight.
“That’s right,” Ardyn cooed approvingly. “I’m afraid there’s not much in the way of comfortable accommodations. You’ll just have to make do.”
Even kneeling, Ravus was scarily tall. He grabbed your hips to drag you back towards him. That was the final straw, your arms gave out, submitting to the weight of your head. Ignoring your weak attempts at struggling, Ravus dragged the claws of his entirely daemonic left hand through the front of your shirt and bra, drawing a single angry line of bright red from your collarbone to bellybutton. He pushed the fabric aside roughly, exposing your heaving chest and fluttering stomach. Even your blood was sluggish, slowly beading where the wound was deepest. But it didn’t hurt. In some ways, being bared almost felt good. Your feverish skin begged for the open air, dank and cool as it was. There was no time to focus on that though, not when Ravus’s method of removing your pants was to shake you out of them like someone would undress a doll, dragging them down your legs into a wad at your feet until he was forced to get your shoes off. Tossing them aside, he finally freed you of your pants and underwear.
Big, hot tears gathered in your eyes and spilled over, sliding down your temples and into your hair. Your bare ass hit the cold concrete when Ravus let you flop back onto the floor and this was real, this was real, this was real, this was real, this was not real. But your body was too heavy, your limbs shot through with lead. It was almost too difficult to force your chest to rise with breath, too difficult to think. Ravus's hands dove beneath the tattered tails of his coat to undo the top of his pants. He didn’t look lustful, he wasn’t eyeing your bare body with desire. With one eye covered in inky black film, you weren’t sure what expression he was viewing you with.
Ardyn clicked his tongue, and it was like snapping a dog’s leash with the way Ravus jolted still. Ardyn crouched down by your head, hovering above so all you could see was the brim of his hat. “You mustn’t hurry these things,” he said lightly. Ravus grunted, pulling you away from Ardyn possessively, his claws breaking the skin of your stomach and hip. “See that the lady is ready, hm? She did come all this way just for you, after all. I must say that I envy you. When it comes to last meals-” He touched your cheek, pulling your face towards him, “you could do worse.” On Ardyn’s face, you saw the desire that Ravus was lacking. In the eerie emergency lights, his eyes shone with a sort of manic glee.
“Stop,” you begged. Was that really your voice? It sounded so far away, so detached from anything recognizable. Nothing was you, nothing was real, nothing made sense.
“Stop?” Ardyn repeated. “I’m not doing anything.” He raised his hands as evidence of that. “But do not worry yourself, my dear. I won’t interfere any further. This is a precious moment.” He stood up, leaving your sight. Something scraped on the floor, confusing you before the legs of a chair entered your vision. Ardyn sat on it the wrong way, his legs straddling the seatback. “Do go on, Ravus. Don’t allow me to distract you.”
Ravus wheezed in a painful breath and nudged your thighs apart. You couldn’t do anything but let them limply fall to the side, exposing your aching core to the open air and two sets of eyes. He ran his human fingers over your slit, pressing a little further to tease your entrance. You knew you were wet, your body preparing you for what it so keenly needed. What you hadn’t known was how wet you actually were, but he pressed a finger into you without any friction, just an obscenely slick noise and a soft sound you weren’t aware of making.
“Oh, she is a treat. I’m disappointed in you, my boy,” Ardyn said. “You had such a lovely girl so desperately awaiting your attention and yet you still distracted yourself with that basket case sister of yours.”
Ravus made a sound somewhere between a groan and and a growl, physically flinching away from the words.
“No,” Ardyn scolded him. “This is the least you can do for her now.”
Ravus’s body jerked and this time he pushed two fingers pushed into you, curling against your fluttering walls. They had scaled up with his body, longer and thicker, rough with callouses. There wasn’t much you could do other than take it, your body was so heavy it had reached the point of floating, twitching mindlessly. Every nerve ending and sensory point within you was sparking and alive, sending shocks of pleasure right into your brain no matter how minute the movement. He picked up the pace quickly, or maybe that was just your perception of time. Too fast, like everything was moving double speed while you sluggishly stumbled in an attempt to make sense of it all.
Thrusting and curling, driving deep before grinding against your g-spot. You couldn’t usually come just from penetration, at least not for your first orgasm of any given night, but it seemed like a forgone conclusion at that point. You were just that over sensitized, that wired.
Ravus pulled his fingers out and tilted your hips back to spit into your cunt. Black void miasma congealed with his saliva, making it even thicker. You could feel the way the globs of spit mixed with your own arousal, wincing with some half remembered need to feel shame and disgust. Then he pushed a third finger into you and your mouth fell open mutely, your eyes rolling up to stare at the office-standardized grid ceiling, the rectangular shapes swirling and becoming malformed.
You didn’t think you’d ever been this wet, the added lubrication was almost unnecessary. It felt so good it was difficult to know how to handle it, you had no way to channel the pleasure, no way to express the utter excess of stimulation as he fucked his fingers into you roughly. You peeked down at Ravus, half daemon and stoic and terrifying, before squeezing your eyes shut with a whimper.
There wasn’t much intensity to the orgasm, maybe because your body was too caught up in the constant state of pleasure, because whatever receptors that were meant to trigger that snapping point had been hijacked. But it lasted too long, all at once too much and not enough, like you were craving something deeper without any comprehension of what that was meant to be. Ravus let up after a moment, pulling his fingers out with a slick sound, letting your hips drop once more to the floor.
You were still gasping and trembling when Ravus’s cock slapped against your abdomen, making you whine weakly. Part of you wanted to close your eyes and will this nightmare away, but the other part was grotesquely fascinated with everything that was happening. Wanted it, even. Now that you had already come, you felt a sense of dull acceptance of what was going to happen. Some of that faded as you realized that whatever process Ravus had undergone affected his dick as well. It was a frightening sight unto itself, a mixture of human flesh and miasmic daemon matter. Smooth pink skin and veins shot through with black, the left side almost entirely comprised of the same daemon flesh that had consumed that half of his body. Not only was his cock much longer than was humanly possible, it was thicker. Heavy. The flushed red tip was already weeping an unnatural amount of precum, it dripped onto your stomach, pooling along with the blood still sluggishly beading up along the cut down your torso.
Ardyn whistled. “It looks like it’ll be a bit of a tight fit,” he said. “Slow and steady does it, my dear fellow. We’ve the time to spare.”
Your eyes rolled back to look at Ardyn. He peered down at you happily, his arms crossed over the back of the chair. He'd taken off his hat and his red curls glowed like a halo around his head in the thin blue light.
“I’m… sorry…” Ravus got out, prompting your gaze to meet his. The human half of his face looked down at you with despair, the daemon side glistening like oil. Sorry. There was something important about that word, but you were trying to understand it through a heavy veil of unreality, your chest lurching in confusion at the vital meaning of Ravus’s expression.
“None of that now,” Ardyn scolded him. Ravus winced sharply, his eyes closing in pain. The part of his head that was purely daemonic matter pulsated. When they reopened, there was a haziness to his expression, something inhuman and cold. A sob hiccuped out of your chest, catching on one of your fluttering breaths.
This was wrong, you knew that down to your very bones. It was too much to even understand what was happening. It was a sensation of being crushed at the same time your body threatened to rupture from the inside, to explode into the open space in a helpless free fall.
You wanted this to stop, you wanted everything to slow down, you needed to get out. But everything was tethered to your body as it coursed with fever and desire, with a gritty sort of heaviness.
Ravus flipped you onto your stomach like you were a ragdoll, handling you by your hips. Your head hit the ground hard, a heavy sound punched out of your lungs. The pain lacked any sort of intensity. Cold on your cheek, the floor smelled like uncovered concrete and dirt and rubber. Ravus all but tore off your ruined shirt from the back, and then you were entirely naked, your skin exposed to the open air. Even this position was a little awkward, there wasn’t much to be done to fix the size difference, not considering he was over a yard taller than you. Ravus solved the issue by holding your hips high enough for him to line himself up with your entrance, his inhumanly tall form hunched over you. Ravus had never been an especially romantic lover, but this was the coupling of beasts. He was mounting you.
“I do so enjoy the sight of young love,” Ardyn said. “It’s a magical thing, don’t you think?”
The words flowed over you like water, echoing in your head until language itself failed to hold meaning. You were too preoccupied with the feeling of the tip of Ravus's cock pressed against your hole, testing the muscles with a shallow thrust that didn’t catch. You gasped, your fingers twitching where they’d fallen uselessly to the concrete floor.
Ravus grunted, using his right hand to spread the outer lips of your pussy so he could more easily force the massive head of his cock against your resistant entrance. This time, it worked, his dick pressing past the initial muscle. The stretch was obscene, intimately violent. While his cock had looked far too thick while sitting on top of your abdomen, that was nothing in comparison to feeling it inside of you. But even that, the horrible, searing, tearing agony you should have felt was dull. More than anything, you just felt the weight of it, the inhuman heaviness.
This wasn't real. The world pressed in on you, concrete and dank chill and miasma, and it didn't make sense.
Ravus adjusted his grip, human hand holding your hip and the daemonic one flat beneath your stomach as support. His claws curled into the soft flesh there, digging in like little needles. The change caused his hips to press forward, nudging the tip of his cock a little deeper into you.
"Well?" Ardyn asked. "What are you waiting for?"
Ravus growled, a daemonic sound. It rumbled and filled the room. You could feel the way it vibrated down each vertebrae of your spine like a shiver, all of the little hairs standing on end. His hips jumped forward.
There was too much of him and not enough of you, but your body just took the intrusion, accepted it without resistance while you whined and whimpered like an injured animal. He wasn’t smooth about it, thrusting in and out with aggressive, tempoless little bursts to bully himself into you. Deeper and deeper, stretching you out with each thrust. Between the oddly slick black miasma, his saliva, and the obscene amounts of lubrication your body was producing from the drug, friction wasn’t really an issue, but his size was. Whatever sanity you had managed to maintain became focused on what, internally, he must have been breaking to force himself so deep into your cunt. Astrals, into your womb. But where you knew you should have felt pain, you just felt pressure. Pleasure.
With a final surge, Ravus bottomed out inside of you, his balls slapping against you crudely. Even they were too heavy and too big, reflective of his monstrous form. Part of his cock was normal, but the texture of his daemonic flesh was smoother than skin, crawling with the undulating black tendrils it was comprised of. Constantly moving, rubbing against your inner walls. All you could manage was a helpless groan, your body twitching in an attempt to escape the invasive mutilation, weakly jerking against him at the pleasure, your pussy fluttering around him.
“Oh, would you look at that. How marvelous,” Ardyn purred. From your sideways angle on the floor, you could only see his boots, the dirty soles planted on the equally dirty floor in front of your face. “Don’t you agree, Ravus? Isn’t she just a doll?”
Ravus grunted, pulling out slowly. You were entirely limp, he didn’t need to move his hips so much as just drag you back and forth over his cock. There was nothing you could do about it, only whimper and cry and drool and moan because it felt good. You had never been so full, so impossibly full. With the added texture of the daemonic flesh writhing against your g-spot with each thrust, you knew it wouldn’t take much. And taking him like this, letting Ravus ruin your body with his cock, was so brokenly submissive that you couldn’t help but moan at the thought, crying pathetically.
Ravus's hips roughly snapped forward, his balls slapping against your clit again. You mewled, your body jerking with the vague, heavy idea of struggle. Ravus groaned, repeating the action.
“I always did wonder what sort of lover he would be,” Ardyn said. Ravus thrust into you just as aggressively once again, establishing a rhythm. A harsh, cruel pace that filled the room with the filthy sound of sex, that ground your cheek into the puddle of tears and saliva that had gathered on the cold concrete. “So tense and uptight. I can only imagine how he worked out all that stress right onto you. Or perhaps I should say into you. I—are you listening to me? He certainly isn’t.”
“Silence,” Ravus growled, his inhuman voice twisting the word, his fingers digging into your hips. So angry, so senselessly mean.
That was the thing that sent you over the edge, although you’d already been close. You came while Ardyn laughed in delight, while Ravus fucked you with the aggression of a wild beast, of an unthinking animal. It wasn’t like you could do anything anyway, but the helplessness while you fell apart was just that much worse because you didn’t really understand, you couldn’t stop the heat or the tension or the way your pussy clamped down around his cock despite the fact that he was already stretching you out painfully. And when your cunt tightened, it just allowed him to grind that much more firmly against your g-spot, your hips tilting and letting him drive into you at a different angle.
Time shifted elastically, you couldn’t tell if you were blacking out or if things really were just stretching and snapping that erratically. All you were aware of was the pleasure, growing again in your core as he brutalized you with each sharp thrust. Ravus fucked you with the mindless desperation of an animal, and you took it like a bitch, moaning and crying and confused as your awareness danced around in bursts.
Ravus’s daemon hand shifted to flatten against your abdomen, putting pressure there. You gasped, realizing that you could feel his cock poking through your body against his palm. He was that deep, he had that much dominion over your body. You came again and it was like something broke when the coil of tension snapped, wetness leaking down your thighs and onto the concrete, gushing around him while he continued the brutal pace. The tendrils writhing against your g-spot, his balls slapping against your clit, the way he filled you so completely that it physically distorted your body—by the six, even the obscene squelch of each thrust, even the clapping of skin, all of it caught in the drugged haze of your mind and it didn’t matter that it wasn’t real, that nothing could possibly be real, it was just that good.
“On her back,” Ardyn demanded, his voice lower now, lacking much of the humor he’d maintained. Ravus didn’t hesitate this time, pulling out and flipping you onto your back while you were still reeling from having come so hard. The world whirled around you dizzily, colors sparking and popping, the darkness physically converging in on you.
Ravus loomed like a daemon diety above you, arranging your thighs over his. Everything between your legs and his was covered in the daemonic fluid, run thin with arousal and probably blood. He was wheezing and groaning—growling when the head of his cock met the slightest bit of resistance, your ruined pussy unconsciously attempting to keep him out. This time, you watched as he snarled, parting your outer lips to once again force the impossibly large head of his cock into your cunt. As if annoyed by the interruption, or irritated that your body would reject him at all, Ravus wasted no time in dragging you onto his cock. You watched with a sort of awed, lustful horror as the inches disappeared into you, more and more until were stuffed full. Impossibly, inexorably full. You could see it when he moved, he was that big, that deep.
“That looks like it hurts,” Ardyn said, his voice returning to its normal jovial lilt. Ravus pulled out slowly, allowing you to relax a little before his hips snapped forward, his hands dragging you down to meet him halfway. All you could do was moan, your eyes fluttering closed. Ardyn laughed. “Or not.”
Ravus began to fuck you in earnest again, throwing you back out into the waves of disorientated pleasure and unreality. He was just as violent, uncaring of the way your limp body jolted with each thrust, the way your tits bounced, your head knocking against the floor. He was solely focused on fucking you, like that was all that mattered.
You weren’t even aware that you were about to come until you were already stumbling over that crest, your inner walls pathetically quivering around his cock, hips nudging forward in a weak attempt to meet his thrusts. It was wet and weak and you shuddered with it, your head rolling back. The ridges of the daemonic flesh tortured your g-spot in this position, it was all you could focus on. You wanted him to slow down, or to stop, or to alleviate the overstimulation in some way, but you didn’t have the words to tell him. By the time the thought even occurred to you, it was difficult to even remember.
“You need not restrain yourself,” Ardyn said. “After all you’ve been through, you deserve the chance to work out some of that tension. Surely she would not begrudge you that.”
Ravus grunted, maintaining the steady rhythm.
Ardyn’s toe tapped against the floor by your head impatiently. “Avail yourself of this act, you’re not a man anymore,” he said cruelly, “fuck her like the monster you are.”
That worked. Ravus cried out and the sound made the room tremble, the terrible edge of a daemon’s growl coming out alongside his human voice. He hunched over your body to hold himself, only keeping your hips in place to fuck you in a brutal frenzy. It wasn’t just that he was driving far too deep with each thrust, it was a lack of care of how he entered you, his dick stabbing deep inside almost as soon as he pulled out. The pain was finally enough to break past the drugged spell, but you couldn’t do anything about it other than twitch and gasp and cry. It twisted with the pleasure of his cock abusing your inner walls, even the pleasure of your body being contorted by his.
You stared up at Ravus’s chest, half white and half black, pulsing and ever-shifting. Your vision spotted with dark orbs as your head continuously knocked against the floor. The sole thought of endure passed through your head, the word turning over like a leaf in your broken mind before drifting away. You closed your eyes, your hands weakly, uselessly twitching at your sides. Ravus was choking and wheezing painfully, air gurgling in his chest and throat. His exposed heart pounded recklessly, painfully loud. He growled, and you felt his cock twitch inside of you.
“There’s no need to pull out,” Ardyn told him, although you barely heard it through the barrier Ravus had created between you and the world. “It’s not as if it matters.”
Ravus groaned, an oh-so human sound of pleasure. Finally gathering you against him with his human arm, his hips flattened against you, thrusting deep with shallow little bursts as he came. With the obscene height difference, your face only made it up to his chest, but you nuzzled against the fabric of his coat thankfully, not caring that it stank like daemonic matter and blood and gunsmoke. In his chest, you felt the noises he made rumbling against you. Daemonic and human, the two of them all twisted and knotted together, his heart pulsing audibly from the exposed daemonic side of his torso.
Time had no meaning or rationality, it was just you and him and too much and full and endure. Eventually, Ravus lowered you back onto the floor. You whimpered when he pulled out of you with a deluge of cum and blood and slick arousal, all of it tainted black. He sat back on his knees and you felt frightfully cold and empty.
Ardyn clapped his hands together, a striking sound that made you flinch for its painful volume. “Well that was thoroughly entertaining, but I’m afraid we must say goodbye now,” he said, standing up with the awful sound of chair legs scraping the floor. You twitched, closing your eyes and trying to make some sense of this. Reason, logic, think. You knew your mind wasn’t functioning like it should, and it scared you. This was bad and you couldn’t figure out why, only cry haplessly like a child.
“Ravus,” Ardyn said, his voice joined by the sound of his footsteps as he passed you, “be a good lad and clean up your mess, won't you?”
Metal scraped concrete and you opened your eyes, watching as Ravus picked up his sword. With jerky, inhuman movements, he stood up. Incomprehensibly tall, he looked down at you as a titan, as grand as an Astral itself. Both eyes wept black daemonic blood now, his panting mouth dripping even more of the thick liquid down his chin. You stared back up with glazed eyes, unable to move, unable to understand. The world pulsed and groaned, the shadows crawling closer and closer.
“Now,” Ardyn snapped, standing in the doorway.
“I’m… sorry…” Ravus said, his eyebrows drawn with pain. You matched the expression out of sympathy, your chest aching for reasons you couldn’t define.
He raised his sword.
The air was warm against your skin as you awaited the return of Prince Noctis, your brother Prompto, Gladio, and Ignis; your back flush against the warmed ivory column that was a part of the entrance into the castle of Insomnia. Your brow raised as the four young men opened the door, Noctis's face a fed-up expression like usual. The blonde male, your brother, let out a sigh and motioned you to follow the group as they continued to walk.
The soft sound of pages being turned and pen scraping against the soft flat surface of the paper was like music to your ears as you did research on the different places in Eos that you would be seeing on your way to Altissia for Prince Noctis's wedding. Your friend, and crush, Ignis walked up with two cans of Ebony, his arm extending as he sat beside you at the library table. You thanked him and began tidying up the table so he could set his can down when he wasn't drinking any of his Ebony.
"You're really excited about this trip, aren't you, hm?" He placed his Ebony down softly and took the book from your hands, his long slender fingers flipping through the pages.
"You want to swim in Galdin?"
"Ye-Yeah. I think it would be fun." He pushed his glasses up at the bridge and gave a soft hum.
"I can make sure we will go swimming. Go get prepared for the trip. The King wants to speak with Noctis, Gladio, your brother, and me before we set off for Hammerhead. I'm sure you'd love to make sure you have everything you need. I'll clean this up for you."
"Thanks, Iggy." You gave a soft smile before placing a soft kiss on his cheek. "You're the best. Ignis became flustered, his cheeks turning a soft pink as you left the study to head to your room.
After promising to the King that you all would be by Noct every step of the way, you climbed into the back of the Regalia with Noctis and Gladio while Prompto climbed into the passenger seat and Ignis took the driver seat. You waved goodbye to Cor who closed the door and then smiled at Ignis as he looked at you through the rearview mirror.
"Well. Princes will be Princes." He said with a matter-of-fact tone as he smiled at you slightly.
"So much for royal protocol." Added Ignis as he ran his fingers through his ash-brown hair.
"Not like you had to give a royal address." The muscular dark-haired man, Gladio stated.
"Your Highness!" Drautos, King Regis's right-hand man called out, walking carefully behind the King as they made their way down to the five of you.
In the midst of Prompto driving, after Ignis agreed to take a break from driving, the Regalia broke down. Noctis, Gladio, and Prompto waited outside of the car trying to get someone to stop and help. When you suggested that you could easily get someone to pull over Ignis shot you a glare and pointed at the front seat making you move into the seat beside him.
"We all ready to head out?" You asked, feeling super excited about getting to meet Lady Lunafreya.
"Tch. I'm ready as I'll ever be." Noct said as he rested his head back against the back of the leather seat, closing his eyes as Iggy began to drive."
"What? I-I was just stating-."
"U-Uh… really?" Noct sounded defeated as yet another vehicle passed by without stopping to check to see if you all were okay or not.
After paying with the rest of the fund you and Ignis returned to the other three handing Prompto and Noctis their snacks and drinks and handing Gladio his drink before plopping down on Ignis's lap after he sat down. He tensed up, his cheeks going red as he cleared his throat then opened his Ebony and took a drink. You pulled your phone out and began playing some King's Knight while leaning back against him to rest your head on his shoulder. He froze, hiding his face slightly as Prompto snapped a photo of the both of you.
After agreeing to push the vehicle to Hammerhead and getting settled in so you could rest, a blonde woman who was the mechanic of the place introduced herself as Cindy. You smiled and shook her hand introducing yourselves. While she and her grandfather, Cid, worked on the car, Ignis asked if you could join him in gathering supplies while the other rested at the diner.
"Sorry about the Regalia, Y/N. I know how excited you are about the travel." Ignis said with a soft smile, his green eyes looking into yours.
"Hey... don't worry about it. I'll love every step of the way as long as I have you by my side. You're my best friend and I'm glad to have you four with me. So. Are we going to just set up camp here then?"
"I don't know. Hopefully, the Regalia will be done by nightfall but if we have to stay here then so be it." You nodded with a smile and grabbed some Ebony along with a few other necessities that might be needed for the trip.
"Hm. We are low on funds. Maybe there is a way to earn some?" You asked looking over at him.
"Maybe we can ask Cindy about where we can earn some Gil." You gave a quick nod.
Prompto made you stay back at Hammerhead while they did some bounties to make the quick Gil so it was slightly boring for you until Cindy offered that you could help if you wanted. It piqued your interest so you greed, allowing her to show you the ropes. It was so fascinating learning about the car and all of the different parts along with what they did. When the boys returned the car was ready to go but since it was getting late, Cindy lent the group some Gil to pay for you to stay at the camper next to Takka's diner.
"So what now?" Gladio asked taking a gulp of his drink.
"I say we talk to Cindy to see if there is any way we are able to earn some quick Gil for the travels ahead." Prompto nodded at Iggy's statement and took more pictures here and there.
"Sounds good. The sooner we can get out of here the better." Noct said as he stood, yawning and stretching. After quickly finishing your level you stood and pushed your phone into your pocket following the guys to the garage to talk with the blonde mechanic.
Gladio, Prom, and Noct sat outside at the tables playing King's Knight together while you watched Ignis work his magic in the kitchen. Your eyes stayed glued to his forearms after he rolled his sleeves up, his veins popping out slightly as his muscles flexed with each movement. You couldn't help but be mesmerized by his hands and how expertly he moved his fingers as he added ingredients and used the utensils to cook the food. You could almost imagine how they would feel against your skin. Since you were so caught up in watching how his hands worked, you didn't hear him speaking to you.
Once everyone was done and the dishes were cleaned, you and the guys quickly changed into nightclothes. The feeling of someone's eyes on you made you shudder. You turned to see Ignis quickly looking away and you felt yourself becoming flustered as you climbed into the camper bed. Knowing you would be sharing the bed with Ignis made your heart race even more. You currently had two emotions running through you at the moment. Nervousness about sharing the bed with Iggy and you just felt off as if something bad was bound to happen soon. You just shook it off as nerves.
"Y/N? Are you alright?" You began to blush and gave a nervous laugh as you rubbed the back of your neck.
"Ye-Yes, Iggy? I'm um I'm fine. Do you need anything from me?" Your face grew hot as Ignis raised a brow at you before continuing to cook. Once he plated the food he handed you two plates, one being for Prompto and the other being for yourself.
"Just relax is all I ask of you. I'll see if Gladio will help with the dishes after we all get done eating."
After saying goodnight and turning the lights off you felt the bed dip from the weight of Ignis climbing into the bed and resting his head on his pillow. You couldn't help but to turn and face him, the light from outside spilling in and highlighting his features. It was rare to see Ignus without his glasses and frankly, he looked ethereal. Seeing him like this took the nervousness away. You gasped and went to turn away as he opened his eyes, turning his head to look at you until you felt his large hand wrap around your wrist.
The next day you said your saying goodbyes to Cindy before heading off to Galdin Quay. Gladio sat in the back with you and Noct again as Prompto sat in the passenger seat taking photos along the way. You smiled as Gladio wrapped an arm around you, pulling you against him, sharing one of his favorite books with you to help pass the time. Ignis chuckled as you stuck your tongue out at Prompto when he began taking pics of you and Gladio before you returned to Gladio's book.
"Is something troubling you, Y/N?" His voice was low as he let go of your wrist and reached up brushing a loose strand of your hair behind your ear, sending electricity through you as his soft skin brushed against your cheek.
"Just… I feel as if something basis going to happen. Something just doesn't feel right, Iggy."
"I assure you it's nothing. You should get some rest. First thing in the morning we will be heading to Galdin Quay." He gave a soft smile before you turned and faced your back to him again. The feeling of Ignis scooting closer made you smile to yourself unaware of him being hesitant at first wrapping an arm around you; his warmth helping you drift off to sleep.
You were finally in Galdin. You made your way across the water on the wooden alk way toward the entrance of where the restaurant was located, running into a very mysterious man in strange yet fancy-looking clothing with wine-red hair and golden eyes. You couldn't deny how attractive the man was and found yourself staring at him. You raised a brow as Ignis stepped in front of you slightly as the man's eyes landed on yours.
You were informed by a man named Dino who is a journalist that yes the docks are closed only temporarily but he could pull some strings and get a boat for the group but only if you agreed to help out with something. He needed some help gathering some ore for his side job as a jeweler.
"I'm afraid you're out of luck." The man's voice was husky with a sly tone weaved in. It sounded like heaven.
"Are we now?" Noctis asked sounding a bit irritated.
"The boats bring you here." He stated motioning back to the dock where the ships usually stop for passengers and goods that are being transported.
"What about 'em?" Prompto asked looking a tad nervous like he usually does.
"Well, they'll not take you forth." The man said looking a bit defeated, scratching the back of his head under his hat.
"And what's your story?" Gladio looked upset as the man began to walk through your group towards the walkway.
"I'm an impatient traveler. Ready to turn ship. The ceasefire's getting us nowhere." He said holding something in his hand before flicking it towards Noctis. Gladio caught it before it could hit Noct's face.
"Tch, what's this? Some kind of souvenir?" Gladio asked examining the coin.
"They make those?" Prompto asked excitedly.
"What? No!" Noct looked at your brother with a warning glare.
"Consider it your allowance." The man said with a slight smile.
"Oh yeah? And who's 'allowing' us?" Gladio looked pretty fed up at this point as he looked at the guy. Your cheeks became flushed and you felt your throat tighten as the man's eyes landed on you with a smirk on his face.
"A man of no consequence." He said before turning and leaving.
"Yeah right…" Noct said rolling his eyes.
"Do you trust what he was saying?" Prompto asked grabbing your hand to make sure you were okay.
"I am skeptical yet I won't brush off the possibility that it may be. Let us go check it out for ourselves. Shall we?" Ignis looked over at you as you nodded and gave your brother's hand a squeeze before walking to the docks.
Since the group agreed, you asked if you could come along. It was just gathering some gems so there would be no fighting involved. The guys agreed so you felt excited to be a part of the group like when they went out to do certain bounties and tasks. Even though it was just collecting the gems, you still felt like you were doing something. Prompto chuckled and ruffled your hair as you all headed to the car to drive to the nearby location Dino had pointed out for you all where the ore was.
Ignis stopped and grabbed your hand out of instinct, pulling you against himself as he nodded toward what made him stop. It was a giant bird that they saw during one of their bounties in Hammerhead, You blushed at how close you were, yours and his nose brushing as he looked back down at you, the guys staring at the two of you. You cleared your throat softly so as to not wake the beast and pulled away.
The next morning you woke a bit before Noctis. Gladio smirked and nudged your brother as soon as he saw you sit up. Prompto smiled and grabbed a plate that had a muffin on it with a note from Ignis then walked over, sat beside you, and handed it to you.
"I can stay here. You guys go ahead and get the gem. Just to be safe." You stated meekly, knowing what they were going to suggest anyway. Iggy gave a nod and motioned for the other three to follow him carefully and quietly.
You covered your mouth and hid behind the jagged rock as the giant bird woke. It stood, straightening its wings, and flew off causing a huge strong gust of wind, allowing the guys to grab the gem with no problem. Of course, Prompto took a quick snapshot of the creature before it was able to fly away then quickly met up with the guys. When they returned and you were all walking back to the Regalia, Gladio nudged Ignis with a smirk.
"So... what was that about earlier, huh?" Ignis froze as he became flustered, pushing his glasses up nervously and continuing to walk.
"What do you mean?" Iggy cleared his throat as he glanced over at you who had a matching red face.
"Yeah. What do you mean, Gladdy?" You asked raising a brow while crossing your arms over your chest, huffing a little.
"Come on, sis. I've known you had a crush on Igni- ow!"
"Prompto! Shut up!" You punched his arm and looked away, feeling too flustered to look at Ignis. "Le-Let's just hurry back to Dino and give him his stupid rock. It's getting dark anyway."
Since it was going to be overnight until he boat would arrive, the five of you check into your hotel that Dino paid for and changed into swim suits. Once you stepped out of the bathroom, Ignis, Gladio,a nd Noct froze. Their eyes glueing to you as they stared at you in awe. Prompto stepped in front of you and crossed his arms.
"Guys... You two also? C'mon now. Let's head to the water, sis." Your brother said with one last glare before heading down to the beach with you.
When the other three arrived you flung some water at Gladio, laughing as he ran into te water and splashed you back. Ignis sat at the edge of the water watching you, Gladio, Prompto, and Noctis play. When you noticed he wasn't in the water you swam over then walked over to him, his green eyes looking up at you.
"Come join me, Iggy? Relax and have some fun. Please?" You gave him puppy dog eyes with a cute pout.
"Oh, alright." He stood and grabbed your hand, walking into the water with you. "You um. You look beautifu." Ignis felt stupid and couldn't find the right words as you placed your hands on his shoulders, using the water as leverage to wrap your legs around his hips, locking them behind him. You smiled and placed a kiss to his cheek then rested your head against the crook of his neck.
"Thanks, Iggy. You're so tense. Relax, yeah?" He let out a shaky breath and relaxed as best as he could, holding you close.
You couldn't sleep as you listened to the sound of Noctis, Prompto, and Gladio snoring. Noticing Ignis wasn't making any noise you turned to face him. In the dim lighting you could see he was laying on his back until he noticed you were facing him, his eyes were now on you. He opened his arms, hinting for you to get closer so you did. Ignis gave a small smile and rested his hand on your lower back while you lay your head on his chest. He took his free hand and grabbed yours. You looked up at him, taking in his beauty, listening to his quickening heartbeat.
"Your heart is beating so fast." Your voice was a quiet whisper as you sat up on your arms slightly, looking down into his eyes.
"It's nothing. YOu should get some rest now. Tomorrow we will be on our way to see Lady Lunafreya."
"Okay." You were hesitant but you lay back down, pressing a kiss to his jawline. "Goodnight, Iggy."
"Goo-. Hm." He cleared his throat and tightened his arm around you. "Goodnight, Y/N."
You felt butterflies in your stomach as he gently kissed your forehead, his finger tips running up and down your side before he finally fell asleep. You fell asleep shortly after listening to the sound of his heart softly drumming against his chest and his quiet breathing.
“For 'Darling’. Ignis left this for you.” He said with a smirk before heading over to stand with Gladio again.
Noct sat up and yawned, stretching a bit before he got out of bed while rubbing his eyes. Finally, the prince of slumber was awake. You smiled as you began to eat the muffin Iggy had left for you. It was your favorite. He must’ve remembered.
You felt your face grow warm as you opened the note which read:
'Darling. I will be back shortly. I needed to go gather some supplies. Do enjoy. I want you to have some sustenance before we head out to meet Lady Luna. -Iggy’
You couldn’t say anything as you all made your way back towards Insomnia. Seeing all of the giant Imperial ships flying overhead made your heart sink, knowing what the papers said are true. Ignis had to turn off the to the side road since the Imperials sat up a blockade. Since the four would be going to investigate, you agreed to stay behind in the Regalia.
“Heya. Mornin’.” Prompto greeted.
“Where’s Specs?” He asked, placing his hands on his hips.
“Should be back any minute now.” Gladio reassured him. A few moments later Iggy returned with a newspaper in hand and a glum look on his face.
“What’s that look for?” Noct asked curiously as Iggy handed the paper to Gladio.
“It’s in all the papers.” Iggy said with a somber tone.
“What is?” Noct looked like he was growing impatient like a child being told to wait patiently for a treat.
“Insomnia falls-” Prompto read.
“What?! Is this your idea of a joke?” Noct spat angry words at Ignis.
“I need you to calm down so I can explain.” Ignis tried to speak reason. You stood and walked over to Iggy, unsure of what was going on.
“I’m as calm as I’m gonna get-.”
“There was an attack. The Imperials have taken the Crown City.” You covered your mouth as Gladio began to read from the paper. The King was found dead.
“No wait…. hold on. It’s lies.”
“If only.” Prompto said, turning to look at the group. “We have to turn back.”
“It may not be safe for us there-.” Ignis said with concern.
“It may not be safe for us here.” He added. And he was right. What if the Imperials look for us here.
“Turn back?” Gladio asked, looking at Noct.
“Yeah.”
Before they could walk off, you grabbed Prompto’s wrist and pulled him close, wrapping your arms around him tightly, and resting your forehead against his. You were terrified. Out of all the dangerous missions they had done before, knowing the Imperials were involved made you worry more than usual. He gave a small smile as he placed his hand on your cheek.
“Don’t worry bout me, lil sis. I’ll be well taken care of.”
“You better be. I’ll kick their asses if you aren’t.” He let out a soft chuckle before meeting up with the others. Ignis patted Prompto’s shoulder with a nod before they all vanished behind the walls leading to the overlook of Insomnia. The sounds of gunshots make your heart sink due to not knowing what was going on.
~A Few Days Later~
The group was finally in Lestallum to meet up with Gladio's little sister, Iris. It was nice to finally be able to sleep in an actual bed again after having to camp on the ground in a tent for a bit. You, however, felt extremely nervous since you would be rooming with Ignis while Gladio roomed with Noctis and Prompto. Ignis seemed irritated as Gladio kept going on about everything he wanted to do and what things the group should do with Iris. Gladio raised a brow when you walked over, placing your hands on his shoulders and kissing his cheek.
"How about we all rest a bit and tomorrow we can get some cup noodles then go exploring with Iris? Does that sound good? I'm sure Ignis would love a breather. He's been the driver after all." Gladio looked between the two of you and gave a small nod then left with a wink at Ignis.
"You didn't have to do that." Ignis stated as he began unbuttoning his shirt and then taking his gloves off.
"I-I um. I know. I just figured you needed to relax is all." You assured as you averted your eyes from him when he opened his shirt, pulling it off and folding it, placing it on the bed before walking over to you. He placed his index and middle finger under your chin, tilting your head up and making you look into his eyes.
"You've been awfully quiet as of late. Is it something I've done?" Your heart broke at the expression of worry on his face.
"Of course not, Iggy! You could never do something that would upset me. You always do so much for us and it's just... all of this is so much but with you around. it puts me at ease." You smile up at him, resting your hands against his bare chest.
"I try to protect you as much as I can. I can't bear losing you, Y/N." You felt your face grow warm as he pulled your face close to his, your lips brushing against his as the door opened up.
"Hey, Iggy. You think we could go out and eat tonigh- oh my Shiva!" Prompto looked up from his camera, his eyes going wide as you quickly pulled away. Noctis stood behind him with a smirk. Ignis let out a sigh as he walked over to his bag and grabbed a fresh shirt.
"I-I'm going to get some fresh air." Prompto grabbed your arm softly before you could walk passed him and Noct.
"N-No. We can leave."
"It's okay really. I just.. need some fresh air. I have my phone if you need me. Now, I better go. I feel as if I'm going to pass out." Prompto gave a nod and let you pass so you could leave.
Lestallum is such a beautiful city at night. The air filled with the delicious aroma of all kinds of foods and sweets. You took note of the nearby restaurant you wanted to check out on the way back to the room while making your way down to the overlook that gave a beautiful view of the Disc of Cauthess. You were so caught up in its beauty that you didn't hear footsteps as someone walked up behind you, stopping beside you.
"Beautiful... isn't it?" That voice.
Date Night -Ravus Nox Fleuret-
masterlist | request
Prompt: Hi! can I request some happy Ravus moments? maybe a date in Altissia, it seems like a romantic spots and because BOATS.
Pairings: Ravus Nox Fleuret x Reader
Summary:
Word Count: 708
Tumblr media
It was rare for you and Ravus to have a date night. Most nights he spend in Gralea doing something important with the empire, someday you didn’t see him at all and only got a good morning/night text.
So when Ravus promised you an entire weekend in Altissia, you were a little suspicious. You remained in that frame of mind through packing your bags, driving to Galdin Quay, even on the boat you expected his phone to ring and call him into work. It wasn’t until the bright sea-surrounded city came into your view that you knew this weekend would be yours.
The first day the two of you spend at home. Enjoying the alone time together and doing whatever you please. The second was out exploring. Trying a new restaurant or two, window shopping at new shops, and hitting your favorite locations.
You didn’t have much planned for the final day. The two of you had decided the night before to do whatever you felt like. Whether it was going out, staying in or a mix of both. However it wasn’t long after you eaten breakfast that Ravus informed you that he would be out a majority of the day, so you decided to do the same.
All day you spend walking around Altissia, taking the Gondola to new places, finally checking out the Totomostro arena you always wanted to see, shopping at new shops, tasting different treats and just sitting by the ocean, breathing in the fresh sea smell.
Once the sky shifted from a blue to an orange, you started to go back home. As expected, you were the only one home. Just to be sure you called out Ravus’ name a couple times, but stopped when a piece of paper on the counter caught your eye.
Dear, Y/n. I apologize out last day together in Altissia was taken, But our final night still stands. Please put on the outfit I placed on the bed. I’ll be picking you up at 7. -Ravus
Running to your room, you see your favorite outfit all laid out on the bed. As excitement fills you, you quickly run to the shower and get ready faster than you ever have.
You were touching up when a soft knock on the bedroom door caught your attention. You look at the reflection of the door and see the familiar silverette standing in the doorway. Turning around to face him, you look him up and down.
A smile quickly forced itself on your face as you realized what he’s wearing. It was the same suit he wore for your 1st anniversary. One that fit him perfectly and complemented his silver hair amazingly.
You stare at him in awe for a moment before composing yourself. “You look nice.” “As do you, Are you almost ready.” You nodded in response before walking towards him. He held out his hand for you to take before guiding you out the door and onto the busy streets.
“Can I ask where we’re going?” You glancing around but see nothing familiar. “Everywhere.” You look up at him in confused but quickly go along with it.
The first stop was dinner. He took you a restaurant the pair of you were very familiar with. You made it a tradition to go here whenever you were in Altissia, Next was your favorite pastry shop. After finishing your confection, Ravus led you down to the gondolas. Your heart tighten at the small, yet meaningful action. You always thought there was something romantic about the gondolas. The fact that you get to sit back and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
Resting your head back, you close your eyes rest your eyes until you hear the sudden sound of water. You open your eyes to see a small, secluded spot overlooking a waterfall came into view.
Completely entranced, you didn’t notice Ravus take your hand and gently guide you off the gondola and to a solo bench. Everything felt as if it stood still. You only heard the sounds of the sea water hitting the rocks. No vendors tell you about their latest sale, or cell phones ringing. No people talking in the background or shoes hitting the ground.
Just the two of you.
A/N: Happy Holidays to everyone!
———————————————
Prompto
As soon as he heard that you were baking cookies, he immediately asked to help out.
For Prompto, this was more of an excuse to spend time with you.
Everything was going well until he slipped and got covered in flour.
Though you tried to hold back, you couldn't stop laughing. "Hey, Prompto, which one of the three ghosts are you, and whose the lucky Scrooge?"
Your comment made him pout; instead of answering, he grabbed a fist full of flour from the ground and threw it at you.
Within a few minutes, the two of you looked like ghosts, and the entire kitchen was painted white.
Both of you were all chuckles and giggles until you realized that you have to clean the kitchen.
Ignis
Since your boyfriend was a fantastic cook, the two of you decided to have a friendly baking competition.
Though you knew that winning against Iggy was difficult, you gave it your all.
Your cookies turned out pretty good, but when you tasted his cookies, you felt like you were in heaven.
Iggy tasted your cookies and pulled the entire tray towards him, "If I may take all these cookies."
"But Iggy, your cookies are so much better!"
Your boyfriend smiled, "Ah but your cookies are far more special to me. They are made by my beloved after all."
Gladiolus
You and Gladio were in the Amicitia's kitchen. You wanted to surprise his family by baking cookies for them, and he agreed to help you.
While the cookies were baking, you noticed some icing on Gladio's cheek. Pulling his face down to your height, you kissed the sweet cream away.
Gladiolus pulled you into a kiss. The one kiss turned into two, two turned to three...
AHEM. The two of you hear the sound of throat-clearing in the background, followed by a giggle.
Breaking away from the kiss, you see Gladio's family.
Clarus crossed his arms and asked, "Do I need to hurry and get the two of you married?"
Noctis
You were so busy with work that you didn't get Christmas off.
Noctis texted you to come to his apartment as soon as you got off work.
When you reached his apartment, his entire kitchen was a mess.
Meanwhile, your boyfriend was covered in all sorts of ingredients from flour to eggs to chocolate.
He shyly held out a tray of cookies for you and mumbled, "Merry Christmas."
To your surprise, the cookies were delicious.
"H-how are the cookies?"
"Noct, these are delicious...thank you!"
He blushed, but that blush soon disappeared when you heard you ask, "By the way...how in the world did you get dough on the ceiling?"
Ravus
As soon as the prince learned that you wanted to bake, he asked, "Why not ask the chef?"
You attempted to explain to him that it's more about bonding than baking.
Though Ravus refused to join you, you decided to bake cookies anyway.
Half an hour later, the Prince of Tenebrae came to check on you only to see you doused in powder sugar.
For the first time, you saw your beloved prince laughing.
Cor
Cor had been too busy with the Crownsguard, so you wanted to give him a little surprise by visiting his house and baking him a special treat.
He returned home and was surprised to see you.
You looked a bit frustrated, but Cor connected two and two when he saw your disfigured cookies on a baking tray.
Chuckling, he took a bite and said, "these are delicious."
His comment made you happy, but when you took a bite, you immediately frowned. "Cor, why would you say these cookies are good? They're horrible!"
Your boyfriend smiled softly, "What matters to me the most is that you made them for me with love. You know...I have always dreamt that one day I would return home and find my beloved cooking for me."
Nyx
You showed up at the Kingsglaive headquarters with a load of Christmas cookies.
All the members were happy, and even Nyx ate them despite not being fond of sweets.
Some of the members of the Kingsglaive teased Nyx, saying that they're going to take you away from him.
Upon hearing these words, Nyx reached for something in his pocket and got down on one knee. He held out a beautiful ring and smiled, "Babe, would you do me the honors of marrying me?"
Nsfw oneshot Ravus x fem!reader & prompt "Hey, cut it out. It’s the holidays" 😚
nsfw under the cut
Read responsibly!
A lingering touch on your hip, another pulling you nearly flush against him as you both dance on the ballroom floor.
Despite being in the Citadel as his sister and the Prince, well King now, had thrown a small ball to celebrate the approaching holiday and new year, where he would scold behavior like this, Ravus had no qualms about his touches, both frisky and not.
“You’re no fair,” You whine, after he pulls away from another deep kiss, one that left you both breathless and weak in the knees.
Ravus said nothing, but his usual stern look made way for a hint of a teasing smile and you gape at him in surprise.
No way, Ravus of all people-! If you weren’t surrounded by a good amount of Lucis’ and Tenebrae’s nobility you would have let out a less than dignified curse.
But instead, you smile in return. And Ravus blinks, before raising an eyebrow in interest.
Taking his hand, you lead him to the ballroom floor again, this time standing much closer as you both begin to dance anew.
Particularly when he twirls you around, your hands linger just above the waistband of his pants. You hear him inhale.
Later when the festivities die down and you both have snuck off to a much more, private, setting, Ravus, keeping you in place, both hands on the side of your head, eyes focused only on you.
You only grin, “Hey cut it out, it’s the holidays.”
Ravus breathes out a laugh.
Despite your believed discreetness, hearing rumors of ghosts in the Citadel, who’s noises were just hidden away by the crowd of people, you both flush the next time you meet your in-law, who’s knowing smile makes you want to hide under your reports.
I read all of your posts and I love them!! Your blog helped me fill the hole in my heart after finishing FFXV 😭😭 I didn’t have any requests in mind until I had to work a 16 hours shift then woke up early the next day for work again. If you don’t mind writing something with the boys and their s/o being very grumpy to have to wake up very early in the morning and how they deal with the consequences of being the one to wake them up. It can be hcs or a scenario whichever you like! Thank you! 😊🌸
Thank you so much!! 😁 I’m so glad you like everything! And I hope that if anyone is in quarantine right now, this at least fills a few minutes for them!
Noctis
Is scared but isn’t going to back down!
Wakes you up quickly then warps away.
Somehow you still hit him across the room with a pillow.
Prompto
“Babe…babe?”
He keeps repeating those words,
Trying to get your attention.
When you grumble as you stir,
He screams and runs away.
Ignis
“Darling, it’s time for work…”
His voice is sweet and soft as he perches on the edge of the bed.
Fresh coffee in hand ready to greet you.
You grumble awake, cursing everything from the old gods to the existential.
“Now, now, don’t be like that…”
He pushes the coffee into your hands and plants a kiss on your lips.
Gladio
Is absolutely terrified of your grumpy self.
“Babe?” he quietly calls from the doorway.
When that doesn’t work, he gently lobs stuffed animals at you.
Until one comes flying back at him.
Ardyn
Forces you back into bed.
Someone with that much rage in them is sexy to him.
Nyx
Sets three alarms for you to wake up to,
But is too chicken to be near.
To be fair, he’s in the kitchen getting breakfast ready.
Ravus
Is still asleep when the alarm goes off
And is also extremely grumpy now.
