Can we all take a minute to appreciate Rachael Stirling (Darcy’s Mum) who with about 30 secs of screen time and probably about five lines, was able to successfully create the most hated character in Heartstopper canon
This lovely full-skirted floral dress with a v-neck and short sleeves with turned cuffs has been spotted twice over the years. It was first worn in the 2004 episode of Agatha Christie’s Marple: Murder at the Vicarage, where Rachael Stirling wore it as Griselda Clement. However, Rachael may have been a bit too tall for the dress, as a red petticoat, intentionally showing the last few inches below the dress itself, was added, along with a matching red belt to tie it together. The dress later appeared with a white belt and without the added petticoat on an extra in the 2022 film Mrs.Harris Goes to Paris.
Danny Reed, a lonely DIY store employee obsessed with conspiracy theories, finds himself trapped inside the body of Veronica Burton, an affluent female fashion journalist. Rachael Stirling is the real star of this series.
*I have been very sick. Little by little recovering.
"Susan shows up unexpectedly on Millie's doorstep one last time before she leaves for Timothy's new posting."
I recently* rewatched all of Bletchley, and it turns out I have just as many feelings about Millie and Susan as I did 10 years ago, so I wrote this rather angsty thing.
*about 2 years ago. I'm a very slow editor of my own work.
