Vishakha, the star of purpose thus of dedication.
Vishaka translated from sanskrit means "the poison vessel", "forked" or "two-branched". Vishakha is "the power to achieve many fruits in life" this nakshatra is like pushya directed towards agriculture but I wanted to describe it's relation with fire in this moodboard.
The main deities are Indra and Agni who associate Vishakha with fire (Agni) and dedication and passion (Indra), Vishakha embodies the fire of dedication, it represents fixation. Indra is the one who create thunderbolt and thunderbolt create fire. The "poison vessel" refers also to the ability of fire to destroy indiscrimately and the "forked" refers to the duality of this nakshatra which is ruled by two deities also lies between two rashies: libra and scorpio, the separation of two individuals (I will elaborate on that later)
Devotion is also a proeminent theme of Vishakha: the burning passion that pushes an individual towards the achievement of his goal, not only that but also the burning passion between two individuals.
Vishakha is associated with Hestia, the goddess of the olympian fire who was charged by Zeus (thunder god and her boss) to keep the fire alive.

I don't have purnavasu nakshatra at all in in my Chart but I learned a lot about myself and others from Claire's recent video. Not what I expected from purnavasu at all. I'm going through my Jupiter Dasha so it makes sense why it doesn't feel like what it should

Hi. What Can you tell me about BB in the 12th house jn Punarvasu? It is something related to spirituality, isolation? Thank you.
Your destiny may be related to spirituality, isolation, foreign travel, liberation from the material world, international relations with foreigners, psychology, charity work, or working behind the scenes in a project or career especially as a counselor

Please take my survey
hi friends. 🌌✨If you have a few moments to spare and Purnavasu placement as your Sun, Moon, Ascendant sign or an Purnavasu Atmakarka or Purnavasu stellium please take the time to fill out this survey. 🙏🏽☺️🫶🏼 would be much appreciated. p.s. this is a Vedic SIDEREAL account. I understand a lot of people use tropical measurements, I won’t debate what’s right or wrong but please respect that I exclusively and only use sidereal calculations so this is for SIDEREAL Purnavasu only. Please respect this because I want to have clear and accurate results for future content. Thank you! 🐱🤍🌕

Hello,
I'm curious about the predisposition of Purnavasu individuals towards witchcraft and occult knowledge. While these practices are commonly associated with Shravana, Hasta, and Ashlesha nakshatras, I've always speculated that Purnavasu might also exhibit a penchant for spiritual exploration.
imo the nakshatras you mentioned are just some of the ones associated with the occult as per Claire's research, I think there are many more and that each nakshatra has its own unique occult ability as each nak serves its cosmic purpose.
I have always believed that Punarvasu natives tend to have psychic abilities, especially the power of foresight, which may not be a "psychic" ability in and of itself but these individuals have the ability to understand the patterns and interconnections among things in ways others can't with the existing information.
Jupiter is connected to the ether element (called "akasha" in Sanskrit) it is the element that makes everything else possible. Ether is the synergy of all the elements. Ether is space, stillness, that which contains and holds. Ether is the element that connect us to spirit, intuition, other realms and planes.
Ether is both nothing and everything at the same time. It’s stillness, yet it’s the very thing that makes all movement and life possible.
It is the most subtle, and hardest to perceive and describe. The aether element becomes denser to form an air element, followed by fire, water, and finally earth.
Ether is the first element, the one that makes all other elements possible, Jupiter, the "guru" being associated with this element makes complete sense because knowledge and learning is crucial to living.
But specifically with Punarvasu, whose deity is Aditi, the mother of the universe, the themes of creation and willing one self into existence from nothing, or having always existed and creating everything, space and time (Aditi is the personification of all things including consciousness, fertility, space and time) are very apparent. Punarvasu possessing occult, psychic abilities just sort of makes sense in this context?? like I'd be surprised if they didn't lol after all these themes and mythology
Punarvasu is also connected to the water element (Shravana & Ashlesha are also connected to the water element whereas Hasta belongs to the air element) and water is what gives people psychic abilities imo, it's the most spiritual element because it absorbs everything readily. Life took form for the first time millions of years ago in water.
I feel like Punarvasus have the strongest intuition of anybody because of that ether + water connection. They do have clairvoyant abilities. The ether element is also associated with the ears/hearing so 👀
I'll make a detailed post in the future citing examples hehe<33

Ketu Moon Natives and our Ketus 🖤
(an unedited, unrevised, stream-of-consciousness vedic astro note where I understand more of the point i was trying to make as I wrote it.)
Rando thought but I was analyzing my own astro today and if you’re a ketu moon you should especially pay attention to your ketu sign and nak!
I have a little theory that us ketu—and likely rahu— moons are more “susceptible” to the intense energies our destiny points signify—we can conquer using them, or become devoured by them, and I imagine wielding such forces can break those of is who might not have the luckiest charts/best spiritual, mental, and emotional foundations. Thus, it’s crucial we ground ourselves in the present—feel the sun on our skin, feel the time come and go instead of passively watching it, participate in life rather than floating through it. If we don’t put energy towards it we could find ourselves horribly lost, unrecognizable to who were once were or considered ourselves to be.
Tumblr media
For an example, I decided to look up Bobby Fischer’s vedic chart—if you aren’t aware of him, he’s considered to be one of the best chess players of all time, if not regarded as THEE best because he just left that significant of a mark. He is a Purva Bhadrapada sun and Ashwini moon, Purnavasu asc, and his Ketu is in Dhanishta. He rose to fame meteorically as a child prodigy and famously broke down after he had won the title of the World Champion and didn’t return later to defend his title; he had a full mental breakdown and disappeared from the public eye—it’s a familiar story about how high and bright Dhanishta stars rise before cruelly plummeting back down to earth.
Luckily, Bobby isn’t a primary Dhanishta placement, as the archetypal Dhanishta story ends in death; Bobby is an Ashwini moon AND Magha rahu. He remained quite eccentric and unstable due to being so isolated as part of his paranoia, but he recovered sufficiently for the most part after he disappeared from the spotlight, but he lived peacefully in Iceland despite his mental and emotional struggles until his passing (I believe he had Saturn in the 12th).
Ashwini is also associated with very high intelligence, according to Claire Nakti’s research, and being one of the best chess players of all time requires a pretty impressive and sharp intellect!
Now, Magha is another factor here that I wanted to take a glance at, just because it also gains more significance through the lens of the Ketu placement/Ketu relationship, also it’s a small note.
Bobby rejects some of the Dhanishta mold in favor or satiating that Magha Rahu. He didn’t fall in line as Dhanishta does as a kind of servant, which is how so many famous natives of the nakshatra are tragically exploited and/or “drained” until it they and are replaced by another. That is his Ketu; Bobby gladly leaned into his Rahu in Magha. Of course a Purva Bhadrapada sun contributes to a bit of edge imho, but Bobby famously threw his weight around. He wasn’t shy about the fact that he was the best, he had a bit of a “Kingly” attitude!
For example, Bobby nearly didn’t go to his final title match for the World Champion title! Luckily he was convinced and he went.
The reason he suddenly refused to participate was because he wanted the prize money to be increased and he couldn’t agree to a location he wanted. He was famous to being this pedantic about game conditions: if his demands weren’t met, he wasn’t coming, so you better get ready to dance. His ego was absolutely huge, no doubt! This is quite a Magha thing to do, as he intends to run the show and “rule” the game, even to the point of where it is or what bulbs are shining over him and the board, because he’s the “King”. He’s the best and he knew it, and he proudly swung this weight around.
Once his mental health declined and he never defended his title, the rest of Bobby’s life became a poignant drift into being forgotten and unwell. In a way, he fulfilled the Dhanishta story—the “King” Bobby Fischer died much earlier than the man himself. He lived peacefully, but very lonely and disturbed. (This is something associated with ashwini moons in particular, of course, but I haven’t looked into that personally.)
It seems to me that the ketu moon’s relationship with ketu is extremely important because after he abandoned his Magha path, he fell into a Dhanista-esque afterlife of emptiness. One thing I particularly remember him for were his words “Nothing soothes as much as the human touch”. Bobby’s Venus was actually exalted in the Nakshatra of Revati, but he had a very anemic emotional life—not much is said about love throughout his life save for after he fell into that Ketu “void”. He married the president of the Japanese Chess Association in 2004, and reportedly had lived with her for years prior, but life had different plans for him: he was a fugitive by the time he had met her, as he had become wanted for arrest by the U.S. government for playing a game against Boris Spassky in Yugoslavia, which violated the President’s UN sanctions against the country. Bobby literally spat on the Presidential order in the match’s FIRST press conference. This was Bobby’s life after he refused to continue onward with defending his title. He was arrested in Japan and sustained injuries because he resisted arrest. He was fortunate to have Iceland give him a visa on Humanitarian grounds thanks to his Title Match in the country (Saturn in the 12th returning a karmic gift.)
He had no children.
I want to take a final moment to touch on an important thought for us ketu natives: it’s extremely important to fulfill those node missions for us. After Bobby stopped acting out his Rahu it turned against him because he had simply let go of his fate—the U.S. government quite literally attacked him and kicked him out of the country, a simple chess player! He refused any of Rahu’s energies after he had left the stage; he was already a relic of chess during the 90’s because he was still playing the chess of his time; he was already a “forefather” in his own lifetime, a mad king with a dulled crown, solitary despite the few connections he did make.
Maybe it’s because I’m a magha moon, but Bobby’s story always tugs at my heart. It’s so saddening and tragic when I think of the greatness he could’ve continued to build if he had more stability available to him. He still tried to act as Magha even when he was no longer in his Rahu path and I think the Martian nature of his Ketu’s nakshatra and the Saturn rulership of Aquarius absolutely ripped him apart every time he did. Magha is of course Ketu, but I also think of the fact that it’s also Leo. The Sun, the light! Bobby seemed to fall into his ashwini moon later in life, and lunar energies are obviously unstable (hence his mental illness), but that connection to his Dhanishta ketu made it even rougher in my opinion. It made everything even more heartbreaking considering he was so deep in shadow that only the smallest slivers of light could reach: his friend’s kids were fond of him; he had safety and security, but Bobby only had emptiness after the ketu energies were no longer being led by him, and ultimately pulled him down and into a time capsule ; the smallest world possible. Another negative effect of Magha is the danger of becoming racially superior—he was notoriously anti-semitic despite his Jewish heritage; he denied this and was also a Holocaust denier. He remained arrogant and proud as if the 1970s had never passed.
Ketu moons, we must make sure we don’t fall into our ketu’s energies helplessly, or we will waste away, and it can happen as quickly and permanently as it did for Bobby if you’re not careful with your mind, body, and spirit. (This goes for 12 housers too!!) I know it’s hard to stay on the ground, keep following the light when you don’t even know where to start to look for it, but you must persist.
Your destiny awaits.

Hi buddy
I am new lerner of vedic astrology as i born in purnavasu nakshatra my Dk venus is in 9 house in Dhanshita nakshatra snd sun ( uttarashada)and mercury (mula)in 7 house in D1 chart and in D9 chart sun again in 7 house but venus and jupiter is in 6 hous in D9 chart
As sun is in 7 house in both chart its means i dont have good marriage and a egoistic husband 🥲 please explain me about my future spouse matter
Thanks and love u ❤️
Howdy Riyus-things!
All of this information doesn't necessarily mean you'll have a bad husband/marriage. This person may just have traits that aren't always appreciated by a person that doesn't understand a man's mind and motivation, and there are books out there for that. (Be selective though)
Venus DK in 9th: How to get what you want from this type of spouse is to not be clingy.
Sun in 7th D1 and D9: How to get what you want with this in your spouse, is too have confidence before the marriage. This is not one of those relationships where you can develop your confidence during your marriage. Your spouse is drawn to your radiance and they want you to maintain that throughout the marriage.
I didn't explain each placement because it seem like you wanted advice for it instead.

Deck Review:
The Iluminated Tarot by Caitlin Keegan is becoming a favorite tarot deck for me and other tarot practitioners. As a yogi, someone approaching tarot from a Vedic arts, science and philosophy perspective, this deck is amazing.
This deck has everything: beautiful colors, cartomancy, and references to the "deeper meanings" ( for me, deeper meanings include Vedfic references in regards to natural, healthy living as per the Vedas and Puranas including but not limited to Vedic astrology, Tantra/ Mantra/ Tantra meditations/ practices, ayurveda and what westerners describe as the physical yoga postures of western yoga studios).
The artwork is beautiful. This deck is in my humble opinion the ultimate card deck for meditation/ tarot reading/ mindfulness/ sacred spaces and is a MUST have for every tarot / cartomancy collector/ reader. This card deck will not disappoint. I have included a link to purchase the deck. I am not affiliated with Ms. Keegan. This is an independent, unbiased review of "the Illuminated Tarot."
Here are just some of my personal favorites:
Tumblr media
A ♣️/ Stregnth
A 🔥
Just wow. Immediately, I see Magha themes pertaining to the first house as well as the many themes of the Strength card. I feel this is a fantastic combination of so many thoughts pertaining to "as above so below" themes of Vedic culture and Vedic philosophies. Also, Tree of Life themes. Just an amazing card.
Tumblr media
Q♥️ / Q 🏺
I for one. always love the Queen of Hearts/ Queen of Cups depicted as the Empress ( I recently described how perfect it is to combine the themes/ archetypes of the Queen of Hearts/ Empress in a post about Dame Darcy's amazing "Queen Alice" Tarot Deck).
Bharani Nakshatra. The clergy. Water. Emotions. Venus, the moon. Aries. Family. The Brahmins. Feminine energy. "The Bearer".
I see this as a beautiful representation of the Empress and the Queen of Hearts and how both archetypes are described by the Vedas and the Puranas. I love this as a yogi and as a tarot card reader.
9 of ♥️
Tumblr media
9 of ♥️ 9 of Cups
LOVE This!!!
9th house/ 9th Bhava. Signifies many, many things in Vedic Culture and philosophy including ( but not limited to) higher learning, higher wisdom, higher education, higher self, higher religion, distant travels, long distance travel, foreign lands, Jupiter, Jupiter related nakshatras ( Purnavasu, Vishakha, PurvaBadhrapada). The 9th House is also the natural karaka ( Significator) of the Rasi sign of Sagittarius. Sagittarius includes the nakshatra/ moon mansions Mula, Purvashada, and Uttarashada according to the Sidereal zodiac. Western sidereal nakshatras include Jyeshta, Mula and Purvashada. Also, planetary correspondece can be and often is interpreted Ketu/ or the South node of the moon . Ketu is the natural karaka of "what is on the inside", passive energy, feminie energ, past lives, what we already know, where we find our peace amlmgts many, many other things signified by Ketu as per Vedic culture/ Vedic philosophy. All of this can be seen simply because of the 9. Of course, the number nine can mean so much more to anyone using this deck and of course the card reading/ tarot reading community supports and recommends interpretations to be personal and up to each card reader.
Hearts/ Cups are traditionalky equated to the water elements or Jala in accordance to Vedic customs and Vedic traditions. Jala, one of five of the elements is important in understanding the natural health systems found in Vedic culture and traditions including traditions such as Ayurveyda, for instance. Keegan herself acknowledges the tradition of tarot readings/ card readings having many, many meanings other than the key words that she provides in the guidebook accompanying this amazing deck, which if course card readers everywhere are also in agreement.
Many interpret the 9 of hearts% 9 of Cups as a Wish fulfilment/ celebration card. That interpretation/ traditional meaning works here as well. Obviously, the green liquid seemingly poured into the cups is likely poisonous and harmful to those who may be consuming the liquid. Even as poison, this can be seen as a Wish fulfilment according to Vedic culture and tradition. Medicine and poison often go hand in hand according to the natural health care found in Vedic culture. Often, it is described that "poison is inflicted to bring out the illness," as found in inflicting venom for snake bites, for instance. Also, the purpose of the Ugra ( sharp, dreadful, fierce) nakshatras is to inflict pain or to destroy and is seen as necessary to good health according to the Vedas and the Puranas. According to the Vedas and the Puranas, alcohol was/ is considered medicine and not necessarily prohibited for consumption. Of course alcohol historically has been seen as medicinal and as destructive in all ultures and philosophy.
Vedic nakshatras/ moon mansions along with other "moon mansions" such as the Chinese and Arabic moon mansions all describe "muhurtas" or auspices times for destruction, attacks, and even poisoning on one's enemies. Ancient kings utilized Ugra nakshatras for all kinds of things including warfare, and the destruction of enemies, even murdur. Of course modern tarot readers/ yoga practitioners take into consideration what is appropriate to meditation/ card reading and adjust appropriately.
8 ♣️
Tumblr media
As a playing card, the 8 ♣️is described as one of 3 fixed playing cards. Traditionally, Tarot card readers use similar interpretations as something in the trajectory, on its way, something that is imminent, and it seems Keegan utilizes traditional meanings along with a beautiful peacock illustration. Peacocks of course signify many, many things in Vedic culture as well as other cultures. I personally have my favorite peacock Significators I use in meditation/ card reading as do many other mindful/ tarot practitioners. I love having achance to utilize the Peacock when meditating/ connecting with my higher self. LOVE having the the Peacock here.
8th house/ 8th Bhava signified many, many things including being the original Significators of Scorpio. Scorpio, is fixed water sign ruled by Mars/ co-ruled by Ketu ( according to Vedic tradition) and according to the Sidereal zodiac consists of nakshatras Vishakha, Anarudha, and Jyeshta. Western sidereal astrologers describe Jyeshta, Mula and Purvashada as the nakshatras / moon mansions, as well as Jupiter/ Sagittariys as 8th house Karakas as per Vedic astrology.
Themes of the 8th house often include transformation, death, genitals, secrets, inheritance, sudden events, accidents, secrets, the "Scorpio Sting" amongst many, many other things according to Vedic astrology/ philosophy/ culture and tradition.
The above three cards found in "the Illumnitaed Tarot," are cards I found to be useful on sharing my personal enthusiasm for this card deck in regards to meditation and tarot reading. I do hope this post has been useful in reviewing "the Illuminated Tarot," and it's potential for mindfulness, meditation, astrology, tarot reading, yoga, natural healing, natural medicine, card reading, art therapy, card playing, entertainment purposes and the many, many other uses/ purposes of using a deck of cards.

Heyyy sorry to yap so much in your asks but I’m currently kinda circling around being involved with a Sravana sun amk and Uttara ashada moon guy whose rising I think might be purnavasu because I suspect he’s a tropical leo asc—y’all got me scared asf😭😭
My mother is a shravana sun and krittika asc with a ketu moon and she is very far from manipulative, thank godddd. Do you think solar influence mitigates the darkness of lunar naks. I feel that this could be a possibility, that solar energy balances out darker lunar energies, possibly ketuvian energies as well; something about them seem purifying.
Have you noticed this in your research? Or perhaps it’s just some folks are lighter than darker…
I also personally feel my experiences with lunar folks is much more positive…but the material is absolutely terrifying 🥲
(Also should I be afraid 😂😂 I have ptsd from fuckboys man the next one who tries me is getting me wrath)
I haven't researched into this yet but I do think masculine planets help in balancing Moon's energy which is yin
Sun is yang so naturally it helps bring out the more positive traits from the Moon
All in all, it's important to look at the whole chart and trust your gut
