During my latest visit in April 2023 I was able to film sandhill cranes, Blanding's turtles, tree swallows, Canada geese, a purple finch, some deers, ducks and see so much more incredible wildlife. The touristy season was far from its peak, so the area was still very quiet and just walking around the many hiking trails was one of the most relaxing and heartwarming experiences of this - still pretty cold so far - year.
