It took a while for me to finally get to drawing it, but here is my contribution to a DTIYS on Instagram that ghoulish_guy is hosting to celebrate 200 followers. They let us draw either Mono or Six holding a big red phone, so I decided to draw Six making a prank call in my drawing. I couldn't think of a prank call that isn't the 'Is your fridge running?' one (because that one is old and predictable), so I borrowed one from Bart Simpson, lol.

I have a joke scenario in my head where the Maw has phones so the staff can contact each other from long distances, but Six might answer it instead and say things to annoy them until they hang up for the funnies, lol.

Xiaolin Showdown au in which both Chase and Guan are on the side of good, teaching the new generation. Chase has a little bonding moment with Raimundo. The boy convinces him to join forces in pranking Guan while they’re on a little trip to a shopping mall. Chase has a hit of nostalgia because he realizes Rai in many ways is similar to Dashi.

Raimundo: Please, Master Chase! You said you used to prank each other? We should, like, totally revive that tradition!

Chase: I don’t think so. I was never a fan of those.

Raimundo: Then why did you participated!?

Chase: Dashi was great at giving me some… reasons to do so.

Raimundo: Hear me out, master. What’s better – some action or being bored to death? If you think it’ll take Kimiko only 15 minutes to finish her shopping you’re more than wrong.

Chase: True, but you could also consider it a lesson in PATIENCE.

Raimundo: And it’s high time you put your new phone into GOOD use, master. For a prank call, for example!

Chase, sighing: You’re very persistent. Fine. So, what’s the plan?

Raimundo: I’ll write Master Guan it’s some kind of emergency and then I’ll tell you what you should say to him, alright?

Chase: Well, I have no other choice. I’ve already agreeded, haven’t I?

Raimundo: Thanks a bunch for scheming with me, master!

Chase: Let’s get it over with, I guess.

Raimundo: geez, no enthusiasm whatsoever.

Chase, being more confused than angry because Dashi used to say the exact thing to him 1500 years ago: What did you say?

Raimundo: yes, I got your warning, Sorry, I’m on it.

Guan calls Chase a couple of minutes later.

Guan: Brother, I need your help! Can you come here? Chase: Well, I can't. Kimiko convinced me to buy some clothes. Guan: Alright, hurry up then. Come over here. Chase: You see, the thing is, I lost Kimiko somewhere and more importantly, I can't find the clothes I wanted to buy. Guan: What do you mean you can't find them?

Raimundo: (shows Chase he’s doing good by giving him two thumbs up) Chase, smiling fondly at his student: I can't find them. There's only soup.

Raimundo: (turns around so Guan wouldn’t hear his laughter) Guan, flabbergasted: What… do you mean by "there's only soup", brother? Chase, flatly: It means there's only soup.

Guan: … We don’t need any more soup. You’re a great cook, there’s no need to gather any instant noodles or other fake foods.

Chase: I’m very glad we agree on the matter! Unfortunately, from where I stand, I still see only the soup shelves.

Guan: Then why don’t you try walking further?

Chase, pretending to walk a few steps further: Still same. Guan: Well, get out of the soup aisle! Chase, holding back his chuckle: Alright, you don't have to shout at me (he moves to the next aisle) There's more soup! Guan: What do you mean "there's more soup, BROTHER"?! Chase, pretending to be both angry and surprised: There's just more soup!

Raimundo: (lays on the bench because he’s slowly losing it) Guan, getting more irritated: This reminds me of something. Don’t do this to me. Just go into the next aisle! Chase:(moves to the next aisle) There's still soup! Guan:Where are you right now?!

Chase, yelling into the speaker: I’m at soup!

Raimundo, laughing loudly: Nooo it’s too perfect!

Guan: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE „AT SOUP”!?? Chase: I MEAN I'M AT SOUP! Guan: WHAT STORE ARE YOU IN?! Chase: I'M AT THE SOUP STORE!!

Guan: I TOLD YOU IT’S A WASTE OF MONEY TO BUY INSTANT SOUP!

Chase: I’M NOT BUYING IT I’M HERE FOR THESE RIDICULOUS MODERN CLOTHES!

Guan, completely lost in his rage mode: WHY ARE YOU BUYING CLOTHES AT THE SOUP STOORE?! Chase, bursting a loud laugh he was holding: 去你大爷 !!!! (ends the call)

Raimundo and Chase both look at each other in silence only to break it with uncontrollable laughter.
