ok but akihiko having an event where he makes pancakes for everyone, but the game specifically focuses on ken saying he loves pancakes and thanking him specifically
and in ken's last linked episode, yukari saying she and fuuka got roasted sweet potatoes for ken specifically
and akihiko makes him a training program
and the way in p4 arena ultramix, mitsuru, former child soldier, keeps telling ken to stop being a child soldier and live as a normal kid for once
and the way that koromaru sort of ends up being ken's dog in the end and post-game
and how after 10/4 when he goes missing, the reaction is worry and not recrimination, and how when he returns everyone is so relieved to see him
and how his reaction is a surprised "really?" because he thought he'd be hated and blamed for what he did, but was still strong enough to come home anyway and face it
i just! i love this little justice freak! i love how SEES loves and takes care of him! i love how casually and easily he is adopted, how they buy him his favorite foods and take care of his hamster with him and invite him to study. how he almost did a terrible thing and for not even one minute did anyone blame him. how after 10/4, his ultimate move becomes healing and protecting everyone, foever

*you’re a famous ice dancer? That’s so cool! (No pun intended) Akira’s never actually seen an ice dancer before, so he’s quite curious, yet fascinated
*anytime you perform, he’s always there to watch and cheer you on!
*whenever you see Akira in the crowd, it just makes you want to work harder and show everyone, especially him, how well you can do
*he’s always complimenting you on your skills, and is curious to how you got started in the first place
*so you sat him down and told him your little story of how you got into it in the first place, whether it was from a friend/family member or another reason
*you have gotten Akira onto the ice before, and the poor boy did not do so well, so he had to get support from the wall or you. You of course helped him get used to it, and you even did a little dance with him!
Goro Akechi:
*Goro was quite shocked to find you’re this famous ice dancer. And if anyone recognizes you out in public, he’s a bit curious to see how you respond to the attention. You always apologize for it afterwards, since you weren’t expecting to be recognized, but he will just tell you it’s not a problem.
*he’s a bit curious to how you got started, and will ask you questions about it here and there.
*he may not always be there to watch you perform in person, considering how busy he can get, but he’s always watching when he is able to
*you always get excited to see Goro in the audience, even if he isn’t up in the front, so it makes you work harder
*once you got him onto the ice, you were actually surprised that he’s better than you thought! He was definitely hesitant to do so, however.
*though you won’t get him to do anything with you and dancing, which you figured as much, but you were just happy to spend time with him!

OKAY im posting this crappy wip kubosai one-shot because ive been lagging severely on writing... sorry if its cringe, its completely unedited rn</3
this is roughly 1800 words.. the actual wip is about 4000 LOL but i skipped a couple parts so this is about half the wip i guess..
Kusuo was sitting at his desk with his legs curled to his chest, glaring at nothing, when his phone dinged next to him. Already not in the best mood, he sneered as his eyes snapped over to the device. The noise had disturbed one of his favorite pastimes; being moody for no reason and doing nothing, and the bright light was equally disturbing. When he looked over, it also shone the time as "1:36am" which ruined his blissful unawareness of how long he'd been brooding. His unusually accurate internal clock could have told him that, really, but Kusuo would never pass up an opportunity to be mad about something stupid.
His eyes softened significantly when he caught sight of what the notification actually was. A text from contact name "Kuboyasu Aren" with no contact picture. Yeah, that was how Kusuo kept all his contacts. Super boring and super normal.
He clenched his teeth, trying to bring his anger from before back after realizing how much and how easily his mood lifted just reading his classmate's name.
His phone had gone back to a black screen before Kusuo could read the actual contents of the message, so he begrudgingly unfurled himself from his position with a heavy sigh. He planted his feet back on the floor just a bit too aggressively and swiped up his phone as he stomped over to his bed to flop himself down on it.
When he finally turned his phone back on, the notification read “3m ago” and he clicked on it.
The message read, “hey princess when u wake up do u wanna hangout ??!? could i come overrr tomorrow please”
Annoying lack and misuse of punctuation, but Kusuo has learned that this tends to be the norm in texting, especially with other teenagers. In all fairness, the way Kusuo texts isn't very conventional either. He made fun of Toritsuka’s severe overuse of emojis once, and then immediately got ganged up on by all of the self proclaimed ‘PK psychickers’ because he tends to overuse emoticons in the same way. He doesn't know how else to express himself over text, alright? He learned to text only from his mom, Akechi, and Aiura and this is just how it turned out.
And for your information, the stupid princess pet name was just some silly thing Kuboyasu had gotten in the habit of doing lately. Trust Kusuo when he says it's much more embarrassing when he says it out loud, especially at school, than when he texts it, though knowing that his name in Kuboyasu’s contacts was “My Princess :)” was probably even worse.
Anyway, Kuboyasu had clearly made the assumption that Kusuo would be sleeping at this hour. Well, usually he would be. Kusuo LOVES getting his sleep in, but he just so happened to have taken a very long nap earlier that day, so he had a late dinner, and subsequently a late dessert. So, his usually abnormally fast metabolism hadn't quite been rid of all the sugar and caffeine he'd consumed not long ago. A series of unfortunate events, really, which culminated in him not being tired enough to sleep yet. At least he got to get in his usual ‘angrily staring at nothing for no reason’ time that he accidentally skipped because of his nap, although that did just get interrupted too.
So finally, he responded to Kuboyasu with, “I'm awake. (-.-;) Sure, I guess.”
Kuboyasu read the message and began typing unnervingly quickly after it was sent. “really ?!?!? also y r u awake lol i thought u would be asleep hours ago”
The poor guy probably wasn't expecting him to say yes immediately. Kusuo usually would argue about it for a bit before giving in to the teasing and pleading of his self proclaimed friends. It was way too late (/early) to play that game right now though, he knew he would just say yes in the end anyway. It had nothing to do with him actually wanting to see the dumb former punk who he had been unusually close with lately.
The taller boy just GOT him in a way other people never did. His undying loyalty and honesty was a refreshing contrast from many of the other people the psychic was often forced to be around. Loyal, honest, strong, romantic, protective. Not that those last few things affected the way he interacted with Kusuo or anything…
Kusuo replied again, “Yes. And I usually would be, but… too much caffeine. (￣^￣)”
Another quick response, “lol thats totally something u would do.. since ur up, r u down to call right now ?”
“To call? It's almost 2am. ಠ_ಠ Why are YOU awake anyway?”
“lol i know i know but im so bored… i just cant sleep.. we can be quiet on the call, but id like to hear ur voice right now :)”
Good grief, ew. How disgusting. “Hm… okay. ∩(｡-_-｡)∩”
(Don't you dare ask Kusuo why his internal monologue is so different from what he actually replies with. It's definitely not because he's an unreliable narrator who doesn't want to admit to himself or anyone that he actually wants to talk to a boy. Why would that be the case? Don't be dumb.)
Kusuo forgot to turn his ringer off before Kuboyasu could call him, so despite entirely expecting the phone call, the loud ringing startled him into dropping his phone on his face. How embarrassing, all-powerful psychic drops his phone on his face at almost 2am.
He scrambled to pick it back up and answer it so that the noise wouldn't wake up his parents. It would be really easy for him to just lull them back to sleep with his telepathy the second they wake up, but it would be inconvenient and his dad might complain in the morning. About either remembering waking up or just about not getting a good night’s sleep.
He finally clicked the answer button, luckily before his parents could wake up, and held back a sigh as he held the phone up to his ear.
“Hey, princess!” Kuboyasu was speaking in a whisper yell, probably also a room away from his sleeping parents.
“Hello.” He tried to speak in a way that wouldn't give away the fact that he was recovering from a smack to the face. Phone calls were a bit awkward for Kusuo, since microphones didn't pick up on his telepathy so he had to use his actual voice to speak over the phone. He always just hoped people wouldn't notice the extra rasp to his voice, but the late hour might work in his favor in this situation.
“So what have you been up to?”
“Nothing.”
“Nothing? Up at 2 am and you're just sitting there, doing nothing?”
“Yes, that's exactly what I've been doing. What else is there to do at 2am?”
“Well, I've been making the most of MY time, personally.”
“And how have you been doing that, exactly?”
“Thinkin’ about you.”
“...”
“...”
“... *snort*” Okay, how could that NOT make him laugh? He took the phone slightly away from his face and laughed into his hand.
“What?? It's true!” The idiot couldn't hold back his laughter either.
“Yeah, yeah, okay… whatever, you're such a pain…”
“Yeah? Am I?”
“Yes.”
“And yet, you're here talking to me at 2 am just because I asked you to? Admit it, you love it.”
“Tch. You really need to get over yourself, you know that?”
“Well. Humor me for a bit longer, will you?”
“You're desperate.”
“For you.”
Kusuo muttered into his hand, “Oh my god.”
“I wish I could see your face right now, I know you're blushing.”
“Yeah, right. Not like you can prove that.”
“You want me to?”
“What do you mean?”
“You want me to come over there and check?”
Kusuo could hear the smirk in Kuboyasu’s voice. The jerk knew Kusuo couldn't say no to him. They both knew this game. Kusuo would deny him just for show, even though they both know he wants to say yes, and Kuboyasu would tease the truth out of him. Well, fine. Kusuo could play this game.
“You want to sneak out of your house and into mine at 2am just so you can check how successful your teasing is?”
“Mhm. Not just that, I would do anything to see my pretty princess’ face right now. I'm bored, you're bored, the only solution is for the knight to rescue the princess from this ailment, obviously.”
“You're an idiot.”
“You want to see me, I know it.” And he did. Kusuo could hear shuffling over the phone. That asshole was probably already putting his shoes on, knowing Kusuo would say yes. “What, you scared to prove me right? You don't want me to see your pretty pink face right now?”
… Kuboyasu was good at this game. He knows that husky voice is fucking irresistible. To Kusuo, at least. “... Okay, okay. Only so I can prove you WRONG.”
He knew Kuboyasu was smiling, but then the mood settled a bit. “You serious, Saiki? I know I'm messing with you, but I won't pressure you if you don't wanna sneak me in. I mean, that's kinda a lot to ask now that I'm thinkin’ about it. I really wanna see you, but I wouldn't make you do that.”
“Yeah, yeah, shut up, I've already made up my mind. Are YOU sure? You realize how late and dark it is, yeah? You can't just stroll the streets at 2 am, you're gonna get hurt.”
“Awee, you worried about me, princess? No need, your knight in shining armor can protect himself just fine.”
"... Fine. Just stay on the phone with me."
"Hm? While I walk?"
He figured Kuboyasu wouldn't want to have a conversation over the phone in favor of paying attention to his surroundings, but... Kusuo couldn't help but be nervous about his friend's safety at this hour. He just wanted to make sure he was fine the whole walk.
"We don't have to talk, just... stay on the phone with me..."
Kuboyasu snorted. "What, you gonna miss me in those, what, ten whole minutes?"
Kusuo scoffed quietly. "Don't be so full of yourself. I'm just making sure you don't trip and fall or something at 2am on the way to my house. Wouldn't want the blame to fall back on me." He somehow still managed to convey snark in his almost monotone voice despite his whisper.
Kuboyasu chuckled softly, as he snarked back teasingly, "You know I can take care of myself. Can't believe you're still worried about me~."
Kusuo did know that. It didn't change anything. And he WASN'T worried, he just knew that his various nuisances tended to get into trouble when he wasn't there to monitor them. He was always getting them out of trouble even in broad daylight, so there was absolutely no reason to think that walking alone in the middle of the night would prove to be an exception.
"Just shut up and don't hang up, alright?"
He heard the quiet creak of a door closing and shutting, barely drowning out Kuboyasu’s attempt at muffling his laughter. "Alright, sweet boy. I'm right here."

this barbie hasn't gotten over round 3 and 4! take my dramatization of the kou vs yosuke poll
"I have to win!" Kou declared. "I have to make it far enough to beat that dumb Akechi guy!"
"No! This is my victory!" Yosuke retaliated. "You don't have anything going for you! You're just some dude who said one slightly gay thing! That, stacked up against all the shit I've done, it's nothing!"
Kou scoffed in disbelief. "You liked a girl."
"So did you!"
Kou's face contorted into an expression of anger.
"You just don't get it, do you?! I need to win this!"
"Too bad," Yosuke sneered. "because I'm the true winner here. I see it, you see it, everyone sees it. Just take one look at how things are going. You're not coming back from this!"
All that could have been heard was the sound of the two boys breathing loud enough to contain the agonized screams they longed to release, all that could have been felt was a pregnant silence full enough to distance them from each other hanging in the air.
Kou was the first to cut through the quiet.
"You just... don't get it..." Kou's voice was barely above a whisper, wavering with a tacit tension. "I need to do it for... him..."
"Him?" Yosuke inquired.
"N...Naoki... that... god damn Akechi... who does he think he is...!?" Kou raised his head and his voice, glaring with a newfound burning hatred towards something. Not clear who. Akechi? Yosuke? Himself?
Either way, Yosuke felt a sinking feeling within him, watching this poor boy get torn apart at the seams.
"Who do you think you are!?" Kou screamed, stepping closer to Yosuke and jabbing his finger at his chest. "You don't understand any of it, alright!? You haven't gone through the same shit I have! It's been so easy for you to just drift through this whole tournament, but you haven't ever stopped to think about your friends that lost! About the lover that lost!"
Yosuke's eye twitched.
"...I have."
"Huh?"
"I lost him too... my... b-boyfriend."
Kou's expression shifted from fury to surprise.
"I- I get it. I really do." Yosuke sniffled, wiping a tear from his eye. "I saw how bad he lost. Naoki. It's just... Yu... he put up a real good fight, and he still lost. Neither of those are good fates, so... I get it."
Kou's expression shifted from surprise to sincerity. To sorrow. To understanding.
Yosuke continued. "He... he's special to me, y'know?"
Kou nodded. He understood.
So he took it. He took the loss with grace.
But he took it with understanding.

here to submit my g/t akeshu fearplay thoughts.
- one of his billards confidant outings ... maybe their first. borrower ren is confused because?? he very obviously can't play or shoot without help, but he doesn't question too much.
- akechi smirking like an asshole as he carries ren over to a table, setting it up before simply making him watch because he wanted to show off LOL ... but they have a casual conversation all the while.
- suddenly, before the last shot, akechi pauses and goes " one more thing, " before going over and picking ren up between finger and thumb with a rather ominous smile ... dropping him right in front of the cue ball that is just a bit bigger than ren himself.
- ren's eyes widen, and he looks confused, perhaps even a little scared. akechi relishes that all too cute expression, but keeps himself composed in order to shoot. then, he shoots.
- not towards ren, though. last minute, he ended up doing an off the edge trick shot, getting the last ball in with a clean shot and a confident smile as he looms over ren. in his mind, he won in more ways than one.
- " what'd you think of that? "
- poor ren genuinely thought he was going to have a mental shutdown then and there for a second, but simply nods and claps in response with beads of sweat forming on his brow. this is fine. he's fine. akechi was just messing around, surely ...
- akechi is happy with how this little outing of theirs went and proceeded to act like nothing happened on their way home. he'd have to do this more often. he likes the fear flash in ren's eyes. <3
UWAGGHHH so TRUE!!!!!!!!!! I love this so much, with the trickshot and everything !! I LOVE the idea of akechi using their regular confidant things to his advantage, constantly flexing his power over the smaller. I think eventually (esp in the third semester) he’d just drop akira in the middle of the table and make him dodge the billiards balls as he plays. What, I thought you were a phantom thief? You cant dodge a few pool balls? Akira gains +2 guts after the encounter. This is not so much “playing” pool as it is being the victim of akechi’s fucked up little game of pool.
I would assume he does this for darts too. He has him pinned to the dartboard, his head right below the bullseye. And of course, he hits it every single time without fail. But the dread that he might uncharacteristically miss still ghosts in Akira’s brain. Akechi’s not concerned. He just likes to see the fear in his eyes before the dart lands.

I imagine Akira doesn't talk a lot about Akechi to the other Phantom Thieves because it feels unfair to Haru and Futaba, so they don't really know just how much Akira misses him. But Mona is there for every nightmare, every time Akira squeezes the glove and wonders if he made the right choice... I imagine he had a hunch what caused Akira's palace the moment he learned about it, but voicing it out aloud in front of Akechi and the Phantom Thieves took some mental preparation x(

Okujima in the Mech au
They met when they both joined the Pilot academy, Makoto age 15, Haru age 14. They initially had high syncing scores, but each scored higher with the people who would be coined as their partners
From day one, Haru was down bad for Makoto. It was on sight, just "oh, oh wow". Makoto however, is as dense as a cement brick. She had no clue she was the class lady killer, and had the gall to be surprised when her own partner Eiko confessed to her
Poor Haru just, accepted that was the way things were gonna be. Watching the girl she loved be with someone else, especially someone so outright with PDA as Eiko. She was there to be a pilot, after all
They were friends though, which is why Haru was racing through the infirmary after the finals to find any sign of Makoto or Eiko
She'd lucked out. Barely a scratch on her, but she knew how few that happened to. No matter how well a student had done, the final exam wiped out as many as it could.
Instead of finding her friend, Haru crashes into Sae Niijima. Standing, right outside the room filled with black bags. "No, please, tell me-"
"Makoto isn't in there." Instant relief. "She's- they rushed her into surgery, i-"
Names scroll on a tablet at the edge of the glass, listing off the names that belonged to the lives now contained in those quiet black bags. Haru doesn't know why she focuses on it, Makoto was in-
Eiko Takao - confirmed deceased
It's a tense few hours as Haru and Sae wait for news about Makoto. As far as either have been told, her situation was dire. Chances of her making it were low, but the medical and research teams went for a Hail Mary. And all they could do was wait
And wait. And wait. There were attempts at idle conversation-
Sae: so. You and your partner got out just fine?
Haru: he has a light concussion, but yes
Sae: I imagine you two will get a great assignment
Haru: oh he's currently signing over for retirement. I'm, partnerless at the moment
Eventually, many long hours later, Tae stumbles out into the waiting area, clearly dead on feet but determined to update her wife, "she made it, we- Makoto's gonna live"
Super big relief. Haru heads out soon after, feeling like her world was no longer being ripped out from under her. It'll get all tilted when she later visits Makoto and sees the wires and machines hooked to her chest, finding out just what lengths had been taken to keep her alive
And so, both had passed their final exam, and in need of a sync partner. With practice scores as high as theirs, it only made sense they were assigned together, herded towards a program that would, in half a decade, become Elite Pilot Team 3
They spend a lot of time together after that. They have to, to keep their sync scores up. When either has nightmares from the exam or a mission, they'll slip into the others dorm
Makoto prefers not to talk about it. She feels less than, remembering the jokes their former classmates used to make about her being a robot or heartless. Everything has felt so filtered, dampened, less, since the incident
Haru is open with most of her concerns. Losing Makoto, dragging Makoto down, losing her life and leaving Makoto partnerless again, all alone. She doesn't mention that she doesn't want to die without telling Makoto the truth, about her feelings,
For the first three years of the program it's just them and Akechi (according to official channels; unofficially they've been having Akechi and Joker work together while erasing their memories of it), who grows tired of their bullshit rather quickly. However, his attempts to end the painful pining he witnesses are thwarted by Cement Brick Makoto
Things really kick up when the second batch of pilots are brought in and the program is fully running. By now Makoto and Haru are a well oiled machine, easily shifting between their very different styles when paired. This is when they introduce the solo mech's for the elite team, separating them in combat from time to time
A year or so in is when the jokes start. Makoto is known for reminding the younger pilots of curfew, making sure they follow their health regimes and don't act out in ways that would get them punished. Whereas Haru always checks in on if they're eating enough, taking care of themselves, such and such
So. They're basically like the team mom's. Makoto mostly shrugs it off, still in her "tin man no heart" rut while Haru is falling further at the idea. They truly do act as a healthy married couple would, if one spouse was unaware of the romantic aspect. It was still a work in progress
Haru, again, who likes to be more open with her problems, has regular "ladies nights" with Ann and Hifumi (Yusuke joins occasionally, or Shiho if she was already spending the night on base) where she just. Gushes.
Ann: you should just tell her, it worked for me
Haru: yeah but her last girlfriend and partner died. I don't wanna reopen that wound
Hifumi: uhm, that kinda sounds like an excuse?
Skip along to the Current Time Place, which is right as the two final pilots join Team 3. This is where the like plot starts? It would be right after the blood transfusion incident that none of them remember, with Futaba and Sumire only having graduated for a few months
Attacks on the city become more frequent, so things get a little more serious around the pilots. Things start slowly changing, mostly for the worse, and about 4 months in is when things change dramatically
A high grade monster attacks. Whole team deployed, Joker and Akechi piloting the duo Arsene, Makoto, Yusuke, Futaba, and Haru in solos to provide support (note; the mech's are a mix of monster and electronic parts. Joker, with monster DNA, can bypass the limits set by the man made mechanical parts. You'll see why this is important soon)
While the Duo backs off to prepare a big attack, close range solos Makoto and Yusuke bombarding it's defenses while long range Haru and Futaba provide cover fire, something new happens. See, this was this monster's debut. So they didn't know what it had in store
It opened its mouth, certain parts began to glow, and a shock wave extended from its form. Not the kind that knocks you back, no. I don't know the word for it since I'm not a big science person but, it killed all electric components in its range
The Duo were unaffected due to Joker, and the outer support solos were out of range. However, the other two? Their mech's powered down around them, leaving them sitting in big tin cans
Oh. And Makoto's Replacement heart stopped.
Big panic. They have no way of getting to her without leaving Yusuke to die, so the Duo focuses on killing the monster fast enough that they can save the two stranded pilots. The situation is tense enough, but it slowly dawn's on them that whole most replacements these days are more bio than electronic, that didn't apply to the heart
It's a race against the clock. The second the effect fades as the monster is killed, the others are rushing Johanna and her pilot back to base. She's immediately rushed into surgery, both Tae and Wakaba trying anything they can to get things going again, leaving the rest of the pilots to. Wait
Haru is evidently distraught. She couldn't even do anything but wait as her partner slowly died out there, and now all she can do is sit and wait to see if she never got the chance to come clean
Even when she's out of surgery, Makoto's under a medical coma for a week while they adjust the new prototype model they hastily installed. During this time Haru doesn't leave her side, lying against her good side on the tiny cot, staring at the mess of wires and tubing just keeping her partner alive
After the first week, the medical part of the coma ends, though Makoto still doesn't wake up yet. Tae assures Haru that she's just building up strength again, that a Niijima wouldn't go down so easily
It falls on deaf ears
After 16 days, Makoto finally stirs. Her chest feels heavy, like she was hit by a large truck, that familiar but hated Controlled Pulse Machine making her veins feel just a bit stiff. And yet, there's a familiar comfort, warmth on her right side. That tickle of soft curls against her collarbone, the burst of just warmth in her chest as even her soul realizes whos-
Wait, warmth in her chest? That tingly, scrambly feeling in her gut, the way her mind felt at ease so completely, the way her body sang at every point where they lay connected-
Makoto hadn't felt like this since- since she lost her heart,
It's a struggle to pry her eyes open, but it's worth it for the sight of Haru resting against her, the little rush it sends through her mind. And how the light from the window cast that glow on her just right? Oh fuck did Makoto love that
Oh how Makoto loves Haru,
And it hits her like the metaphorical truck from earlier, that she's feeling, and feeling love. And it wasn't even a new feeling! This whole time she'd been so focused on the negative what if that she completely overlooked the truth that was there all along
"Haru," her voice cracks from lack of use, but it's enough to jolt the younger woman awake. Makoto tries for a reassuring smile, but it's hard when she can still feel each cable running into her chest
And Haru, she just breaks into tears, crying into Makoto's shoulder loudly, finally feeling more than just empty since they wheeled the other half of her soul into that Operating room. A weak, but tender hand rubs at her back, and another trail of tears mix with her own
"I'm sorry I worried you,"
"just, shut up and let me hold you, dummy"
Tae rushes in when she was alerted to a change from the Pulse Machine, and is so relieved to see her sister-in-law awake. She has some tests she needs to run, but she also knows those can wait until after she lets the reunited partners do their thing
And Makoto hadn't felt this alive since the academy, recalling when their class got a weekend off to go to the amusement park. Eiko had refused to ride the big mega coaster with her, so Haru stepped in instead. That rush, the adrenaline and joy as they were bashed around, their fingers touching by their restraints, laughing and holy crap Makoto had been ignoring these feelings for far too long
It clicks in her mind. She almost lost her chance. She almost never got to realize it all, or tell Haru-
"Can I tell you something, Haru?"
"are you planning to file for retirement?"
"not just yet, but- it's- well, you see-"
"...Mako?"
"I'm in love with you"
Their eyes meet. Wide staring, the room silent besides the collection of medical machines. It's almost like time is frozen for a second-
"really? Like, actually? For real?"
"I'm sorry it took me so long to realize but- fuck, I think my heart's always beated for you"
Haru crashes their faces together, a poor attempt at a kiss that might leave a bruise- "ah I'm so sorry I should have asked, if was rude if me to- you might not want to-"
"uhm, I would very much like to? If you do too-"
And this one is more of a proper kiss, still fueled by overcharged emotions and nearly a decade of the worst pining imaginable. They was into them, becoming less rushed and more lazy, Haru's hand at Makoto's jaw, and other over that patch of abdomen the infirmary linens failed to cover, Makoto with one buried in Haru's messy hair, the other slowly sliding down the line of her spine
They have shit to talk about, but that's for later. There's ten years of affection they have to catch up on
When Makoto is finally released from medical a month later, her room in the quad unofficially becomes their room in the quad. Haru does talk to counselor Kawakami about what happened those two weeks, and after only three months they get engaged, and married soon after
They wasted enough time after all
And besides other plot occurrences, they're smooth sailing
...until about a year after the big climax bit
Remember how Haru has no Replacements? Not anymore
In the incident that leads to both filing for retirement, M'Lady is nearly torn in half, the sync and crushing of the compartment leading Haru to need her right arm and shoulder amputated, which means. She would be getting a replacement
It's Makoto's turn to sit at her side, and to get her hand crushed when they connect the nerves to Haru's new arm
And of course, the first thing she touches with said new arm is her wife's face
(Makoto gets her hand crushed two more times in the epilogue when they have their kids but shhh that's not important)
But yeah I skipped a lot of little details cause I've been writing this for Too Long lmao

- I headcanon he becomes like some Private Investigator and just goes off on people he knows are guilty, not giving them any room to speak as he lists all the evidence
-he basically has Age!Swap Mob haircut
Saiko and Mera
-It’s more of the idea of Rich/Poor
-Saiko eventually comes down from his high horse and starts caring for his friends
-Saiko notices how hard Mera is always working and decides to invite her to lunch. That one lunch eventually becomes a regular occurrence between the two with Mera suggesting places and Saiko covering the expenses
-during lunches, the two get to talking. It’s a real slow burn with Saiko not noticing his feelings till like 23
-Saiko becomes the boss of his father’s company while Mera becomes a traveling food critic. Mera always give advice on how to improve the food

But I do think they'd be good friends too!! Riku would learn to like reign himself in around Asuka because he'd feel bad if he made her too nervous. And yeah they'd probably bond over their insecurities as well and they both had a shit time with their respective palace rulers. Also I remembered in the fic too Asuka was like willing to take on Akechi and I wonder if that means she would be able to banter with Riku once she's more comfortable around him (if that makes sense?)

I think akechi and sumire’s brief relationship is interesting because akechi felt bad for her, he pitted her, she’s someone truly pathetic to him that even someone like him would say “poor thing” and I think that pity vs joker’s compassion is VERY interesting and telling of their characters and then you place it against maruki’s mix of grief and guilt and pity and in his own mind what he mistook for compassion and like god the four of them are just very fascinating and I wish atlus had done even a smidgen of work to make royal about the four of them together and not 3 or 4 independent stories slightly conjoined bc of joker and maruki that approach was such a miss for me why is this not one full story it doesn’t make sense the material is so good how did you flub it so bad you MADE it why don’t you see the THREADS

...huh I did do Monk twice but yeah I meant Saint could be the same Scug. In all their mushroom naming god and desire for waffle fries glory (don't ask why I associate those two memes with Saint I just do). Now I'm going to wonder how I mixed their names up.
Also going to let you know, but I had the random mental image of Saiko being the kid of the Chieftain Scavenger Mera went after and killed. After that he gathered up as many Scavengers that were willing to leave with him, and did just that. Creating one of the nomadic tribes of Scavengers in the process. He's not really involved in anything unless the Scugs encounter his tribe or they go to live in Saiki's collapsed structure for a short while before leaving after seeing Scugs hanging around it. They're just there, out in the world. And very much doing their best to avoid pissing off any Scugs.
Chiyo, Hii, Rifuta, Kongou, Takahashi and Satou are various Scugs in Teruhashi and Kaidou's previous colony. They're currently living in the Outer Expanse because there's food, shelter, and in case Kaidou and Teruhashi ever come back they want to be there to greet them. Kongou was also the leader of their colony, and currently their very effective protector because he is a responsible adult. Other than that, they're just living their best lives.
Also funny thought. Teruhashi and Kaidou more often than not go to collect Neurons for Saiki despite already giving him plenty. They're doing it partially out of spite towards Kuusuke because, via use of charades and Nendou already having a vague idea about what happened, they know Kuusuke is responsible for Saiki's current state. That and he's just a jerk in general. Saiki is unsure if he should convince them to stop, or let them do their thing to avoid wasting any effort.
pffft amazing. and those two memes resonate very well with saint. i also think of the "blows up pancakes with mind" meme as saint haha.
saiko being a scav is very interesting! but it makes a lot of sense because of their interest in pearls :o
hopefully none of the scugs to visit kusuo have ever eaten his neurons...they can eat kuusukes all they like, he has hundreds of thousands. but poor kusuo has so little, just like moon :[
i agree with your points and dont have more to comment on them, but i have a new idea too: maybe one of the purposed scugs was sent with an outfit for kusuo, or one of them found one, just like how you can find LttM's tattered robe as some of the slugcats in rain world. cause the collapse definitely wouldve washed away his fancy iterator outfit, and nendou wouldnt have been the scug to bring one because revival was moat important, since kusuo was very much not functional in the slightest. and hes still barely functional until akechi is sent to steal a rarefaction cell
i got rambly lol. i have mild ideas for all the iterators in this au and i wish i could draw </3 also: i wonder if kuusuke would end up with the rot at all. maybe instead of a forced broadcast causing him to mess up, since he shut down all communications and unlike 5P, kuusuke is the administrator of the local group, and so kusuo couldnt force a broadcast, he gives himself the rot via his own hubris. he just straight up messes up the process by himself, if he does have the rot in this au

tell us about your oc asuka : )
i've told so much so this is gonna be written like a ramble
but basically she'd be a party member like the rest of the thieves (with the codename "Witch" to fit her persona) (i have my reference for her phantom thief outfit but it's. not very well drawn imo and i haven't drawn her in it outside that reference) and she'd join in right between yusuke and makoto's arcs, specifically not too long before the day akechi's social link starts
so what's going on with her? well! she's just a plain old shujin student(who sits right behind the newly transferred delinquent boy she's 88.9% sure is some kind of terrorist because he's crAFTING BOMBS IN CLASS-) who works at the dvd rental place you'd see and go to in-game. but for some reason she has to leave class early for work some days, and on some days she shows up to class with a bandage on her face...kinda sus if you ask me
and surprise surprise!! one short investigation(aka akiren following her to work smh what a creep and morgana sneaking into the damn place to see what's goin on) later and it turns out the store is a front!! for a fucking meth-making deal!! poor asuka has to go into the store's basement to cook and sell meth for her shitty boss...oh i'm not joking btw. it started as a breaking bad joke but i decided to stick with it bc it works.
originally, when she first took her job, it was just to keep the business up, but as time passed, her boss just got greedy...
...and that's now giving him a palace!! a very small one though! it just formed
the whole store was under investigation a couple days ago, and even got akechi involved but that didn't go anywhere.
so what do protag-kun and his cat do?? roll into that palace and steal the bastard's heart to save this girl, of course!
...even though she got dragged into that palace as well on accident, and by law of every persona game, awakened to her own persona in the process! yay!! now the gang gets to welcome both yusuke and her because they both joined in at a similar time frame!!
her social link would be focused around getting her back into joining the drama club again to regain her passion for theatre acting :) i don't have much thought about for that though
she's also got this really weird sense of deja vu every time she rolls into the metaverse...doesn't help that she doesn't remember anything from before 3 years ago

Day 3: Seasons
(My art piece is currently unfinished for today, but I’ll have it for tomorrow! Take this mini fic instead☺️)
The sun was bright in the air, gleaming against the pure white clouds. Ren glanced at the flower gardens near the park entrance, then back at the stand where garlands were being sold. Amongst the colorful flora, there sat a brilliant red rose, like ruby jewels.
This was the perfect flower for his love.
Ren looked down at his watch, then back up at the stand. He decided to go grab the flower before Akechi got there.

“Hello, sir! How may I help you?” The stand owner asked.
Ren looked at the rose and answered, ���I’d like this flower, please.”
“My deepest apologies, sir. This rose is only available if you buy the entire flower crown to accompany it…”
Ren admired the little white and pink flowers strewn together in a handful of fake ivy and leaves. It wouldn’t take a genius to figure out that the crown itself was rather fake.
The rose, however, was all real. And even if the crown wasn’t really what the stand’s sign made it out to be, Ren wanted to have it nonetheless.
“I’ll take it.”
“Wonderful!” The cheerful lady replied. “That’ll be 1500 yen~”
Ren placed the money on the table top and grabbed the garland. He placed it on his head and plucked out the rose, holding it behind his back.

“You’re not very good at hiding secrets from me, are you?”
Ren whirled around. Akechi stood there in his white top and faded black pants. His sandals contrasted the black nail polish on his feet. He wore the most outdated look, in Ren’s eyes. He couldn’t help but laugh.
“What’s so funny?” The brunette asked.
“You’ve always had a poor choice in fashion,” Ren mused.
“Not like YOU could do any better. The sun’s pouring down on you and you’re wearing JEANS?” Akechi snarked in reply.
“SOMEONE’s gotta look more modern. Anyways, here you go. Do you like it?” Ren asked, handing the brunette the rose.
