So I did a thing...

Polyc recreated some of his small tattoos into temporary tattoo sheets, 7 sheets in a set, and offered them for sale.

I followed the instructions and ordered a set.

I never received them, so since I had to prepay (not inexpensive with shipping) I followed up by emailing him.

And now I'm in a email conversation with Polyc and IT. IS. SURREAL I tell you.

He told me he recalls sending them. I love him. THIS GUY HAS HANDLED JK'S ARM!! HE'S TATTOOED MOONS ON JIMIN'S BACK!!! HE'S TATTOOED LIL 7'S ON ALL OF THEM!! AND HE REMEMBERS SENDING ME MY ORDER!! I was in his brain for five seconds!!! I'M SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!!!

It's surreal. And cool.

Anyway... just wanted to share.

EDIT: He says he's sending them out again.

감사하게도 세계적인 그룹 BTS의 멤버 정국님 타투 커버업을 할 수 있게 되었습니다. 타투를 진행하기 전 정국님과 충분히 대화를 나눈 후 구도적으로나, 퀄리티적인 부분을 잘 살펴 보완해야 할 부분들을 하나씩 커버업해드렸습니다. 저에게 오시는 많은 분들이 타투를 진행하실 때 그림 안에 많은 의미를 담으시는데, 정국님 또한 하나하나 의미 있는 타투들로 채워나갔습니다. 모든 예술은 호불호가 나뉠 수 있지만, 세계적인 아티스트의 팔을 커버업하기에, 그에 걸맞은 타투이스트가 되고자 작은 부분까지도 최선을 다하여 신중히 작업하였습니다. 저 또한 즐거운 작업시간이었고, 현재 커버업 된 작업을 만족스러워해주신 정국님께도 다시 한번 감사하다는 말씀 전하고 싶습니다. 정국님 팔에 새긴 제 닉네임이 좋은 의미로 남겨질 수 있게 최선을 다해 남은 작업들도 멋지게 담아드리겠습니다. 마지막으로 제가 2년간 준비한 브랜드에 대한 아끼지 않은 칭찬도 감사합니다. 정국님의 앞으로의 활동도 항상 응원하겠습니다:)

👤: thankfully, i was able to do a tattoo cover up for the worldwide group BTS' member jungkook. before moving forward with the cover up, we had plenty of conversations and then carefully looked at the parts that needed to be improved both compositionally and quality wise and did a cover up one by one.

a lot of people who come to me put a lot of meaning into the image when getting a tattoo, and jungkook also went forward filling with tattoos that each had a meaning.

all art can can be liked or disliked, but to cover up the arm of a worldwide artist, i tried my best and worked cardfully on even the small areas in order to become a fitting tattooist

it was also a fun working time for me, and i want to say thank you once again to jungkook who was happy with the work that is currently covered up in order for my nickname that is drawn on jungkook's arm to be left with a good meaning, i will do my best to put in the rest of the work coolly.

finally, thank you for the generous compliments about my brand that i have been preparing for 2 years.

i will always support the upcoming activities of jungkook's :)
