For the anon looking for something small and chill- I recommend Plushpets !! It's not an open species but it's very easy to get into and has much more focus on an ARPG aspect than a CS one and is really loose and laid back about how you design your characters !

its unironically such a good outlook to have even w/ smth seemingly silly and random like "blogger i follow remembered how much he was interested in the way vacuum cleaners work and the history of them and turbo posts about it for like an hour" bc like YEAH!!!! for real like the world just feels so much more interesting through a lens of curiosity. theres so many things to learn
