Magnoliophyta (aka angiosperms, flowering plants): A large, diverse phylum with over 300,000 known species. Two of the more well-known sub-divisions are monocots (including grains, onion-like plants, and irises and lilies) and eudicots (including most leafy trees, a wide variety of flowers such as sunflowers and roses, and many food plants from coffee to cabbages.)

Bryophyta (aka mosses): Small but mighty, and among the most ancient of land plants. 95% of all moss species are in the class Bryopsida, while Sphagnopsida contains the bog-loving peat mosses.

Groot/Rocket Raccoon (Grocket) - Marvel, mainly the comics, cartoons and videogames

Throwback to 2014/2015 when these two were THE biggest romantic ship in the gotg fandom. Including smut.

Ok jokes aside, I adore Rocket and Groot’s relationship. They’re just two weird outcasted creatures of the Marvel universe who found each-other and had each others backs when the whole rest of the galaxy treated them like freaks. They don’t get along all the time and can have their (old married couple energy) arguments, but at the end of it all you can tell they care about one another, even if Rocket is to emotionally stunted for his own good to admit it out loud most of the time. They also have a ton of sweet moments together, from Rocket going through the trouble of traveling to earth, a planet he hates, just so Groot can be happy and (mild spoiler) reunite with an old friend of his in the 2015 Groot comic series, to them going on a beach vacation together in the Rocket Raccoon comics, to Rocket Having an I ♥️ Trees mug in Marvel’s Rocket & Groot Cartoon, to Groot and Rocket straight up saying “I love you” to eachother in the Guardians: Grounded comic, the Gotg Eidos game, and the Telltale game etc. (which now that I think about it, I think rocket has probably said “I Love You” to Groot in most gotg related media more times combined than he has to any of his canon female love interests… so do with that info waht you will…). I could go on, really. Tbh, I do slightly prefer and love Groot and Rocket’s close platonic friendship as is, but I would be lying if I didn’t believe there’s at least more than one universe in the Marvel multiverse where they’re married.

Plants VS Zombies 1/GOTY Edition is NOT a good game

look. I know that you all have "nostalgia" or whatever about PVZ. I get it. And I can say the game has charm. But from a gameplay perspective? It's horrific. The game is way too fucking easy yet way too slow, levels feel like they take grueling hours to beat with no challenge to them, none of the puzzle levels are all that interesting, none of the mini-games aside from a few do anything fun, it's just a miserable experience through and through. Oh, and if you try to 100% it? Good fucking luck. I Zombie 10 streak. Vasebreaker 15 streak. Having to play Adventure mode AGAIN. Survival is fun but it doesn't make up for the rest of the game.

I can say that it's got charm and wit, but when every night level can be beaten spamming a 0 cost unit, maybe it's best to realize the game's not so hot on the gameplay. I am prepared to get burned at the stake for this. Also fuck you guys Ladder Zombie was peak and he never came back. I'm still waiting for his triumphant return in the PVZ series

Class Round 2: Eudicots vs Magnoliids

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme vs Bay Leaves and Black Pepper

Eudicots (“true dicots”): This is a ginormous class, containing almost all leafy trees, quite a lot of plants that humans get food from (including potatoes and all of the legumes), and the plants we get tea, coffee, and chocolate from. It also contains carnivorous plants, parasitic plants, and some very poisonous plants, as well as tobacco and cannabis.

Magnoliids: The third largest group of flowering plants, with over 10,000 species. Magnolias, tulip trees, bay laurels (as in crowned with laurels, as in the spaghetti sauce leaf), black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, avocados. Many species produce fragrant oils, including ylang ylang. MDMA (ecstacy) is derived from a chemical found in some Magnoliids trees.
