->NEAR AU (Creator! Jade x Robot! Chiaki)

{Canon x OC AU. Jade Leech is from Twisted Wonderland. Chiaki belongs to my bestie, Yami, @pastel-rights }

Trope Description:

In this future theme AU, there’s a creator and their robot. They spend time together until the creator dies, leaving the robot alone,,, there’s barely humans in that future, and only the creator is there alone to create a single robot out of the metals they found. While spending time with the robot, the creator takes all his time and effort to make the robot feel emotions like a living being,,, no matter the cost.

Story:

If Jade is the creator, I think you’ll see a more softer version of Jade,,, He shows that he appreciates Chiaki a lot not just a subject, but as a friend(or more than that at the end-). Chiaki at first doesn’t show emotions since she just got invented without them yet

Jade and Chiaki often walk around damaged cities for any resources and useful materials for Jade’s inventions, they often try to make talks(which Jade often was the one to start them). Whenever they find abandoned clothing stores, Jade is thoughtful to the point that he would go in there to get some nice clothes for Chiaki(ignoring Chiaki pointing out that the store is not where metals and gears are stored-). Chiaki is oblivious as a robot at first, puzzled at Jade’s loving gestures at her

No matter how much Jade asked about how Chiaki feels, Chiaki can barely respond, not knowing the answer to it yet. So Jade kept implementing some things on Chiaki in order for her to feel something, and dedicated so much time and effort just to see the robot at least smile at him sincerely,,,

But eventually, Jade started to get sick…. That he ended up staying in bed as Chiaki takes care of him instead.

Chiaki improved a lot with the face expressions, emotion verbal tones, and even able to hold on conversations. The conversations Jade had with her are the ones he most cherished in his life. He spent most of his days writing on his journal while he’s on bed.

And there was a day where Jade asked Chiaki a strange question.

“What do you think of me, Chiaki…?”

Chiaki was confused at the sudden question, pretty speechless as Jade shouldn’t be asking a robot to ask for opinions about him,,, Nonetheless, she still responded him:

“You are… warm, I like to stay close with you…. Even if your hands are getting colder than usual.”

It was now Jade’s turn to be speechless.

Seeing Chiaki sitting on the side of his bed to greet him made his days brighter… Jade one day asked Chiaki on a Sunday morning for a favor. Jade asked her to play the ‘I spy’ game with him… It was childish of him, but it would be nice to be more observant around surroundings after being busy all day to even be aware of them(said Jade to Chiaki-) Chiaki complied, it took a few hours playing the game. Chiaki then said that it was Jade’s turn, but she didn’t receive a respond.

Chiaki looked at where Jade was laying for a bit, Jade is facing his desk looking tired. She shook him gently by the shoulder but he’s not responding and even took his hand,,, it was cold.

Chiaki looked closely at Jade’s face and slowly pressed his wrist for his pulse,

she felt no palpitations.

Chiaki merely looked at Jade’s lifeless face once again for a moment… Before closing his eyes gently.

After another silence, that’s when she started to break down in tears quietly… Leaning on Jade’s no longer beating heart.

Meanwhile in the afterlife, Jade opened his eyes to see Floyd holding his hand with a goofy smile. Along with Azul, who’s patting Jade’s shoulder with a sorry smile. Both Floyd and Azul reassured Jade that he have done more than enough… which is staying alive for them.

Chiaki was pretty left alone... However, she also connected the dots of why Jade was looking livelessly at his desk; he was staring at his journal- So Chiaki hesitantly read the journal Jade wrote on for the past few months-

It was updates about Chiaki’s progress with deceloping emotion. But also Jade’s backstory about him, Floyd and Azul. Other entries talked about Jade’s soft feelings for Chiaki. Even though he’s already aware it’s too late for him to stay longer with her…

In the last page, he left a map for Chiaki. It guides her to go somewhere, somewhere where there are a small group of people to take good care of her like Jade did.

Jade originally planned to go there with Chiaki, until he got the illness…- So the only option was Chiaki to go there, it was said that she won’t be alone there and people will take care of her.

Days before death, Jade once made Chiaki promise something when he dies, that Chiaki should put Jade, Azul, and Floyd’s ashes to the sea… Once Chiaki reached to the destination of the map, a camp, she fulfilled Jade’s wish and bid a sentimental farewell at the ashes…

After years of staying in the destination, Chiaki unfortunately becomes very old that she can no longer manage to put her memories and emotions in one storage… In the process of shutting herself down eventually.

Side facts!

Jade already had experience with inventing stuff before humans either had stopped residing in the city where he lived or they were wiped out by natural causes.

Floyd in this AU died from a rocket ship launching failure, he was a mechanic. Unlike other Floyds, he’s pretty soft by the fact that he doesn't like joking about death,,,,

Floyd is afraid to die,,,, He said that to Jade once as his last words.

Floyd: Jade... I don't wanna die... I don't wanna leave… I-I don’t wanna leave you..-

Jade: Floyd, don't speak more- Floyd-- FLOYD-

Azul had to stay by Jade's side even at the funeral, but eventually died in a car crash…

Jade once sat on one of those swinging benches all alone,,, He used to go on those with Floyd and Azul as children. Jade once showed robot Chiaki the place… And told her how much he loves and loved to play with his brother and dear friend. Chiaki never really got the appeal of swinging benches,,, but now that Jade’s gone… she does. Chiaki kept sitting on Jade's spot on his behalf.

“…I don’t really get it. But it’s comfortable.”

->TWST Overblot! Hana AU

{This is an AU, so not it is not an original timeline. Hana is my TWST OC, while Chiaki belongs to my bestie, Yami, @pastel-rights} (P.S.= I really should stop tagging them somehow but djjdjdjdjej-)

Trope Description:

Technically how would things happen if my Heartslabyul, therapist-judge OC actually lost her sanity and overblotted- which will actually never happened in the original timeline lol,,,

Headcanons:

Ok, i know it's rare for Hana to show her dark emotions,,, Yes, she does show panic and concern for everyone, but not to herself

Her overblot will based on the King of Hearts, the Queen of Heart's husband. The character is pretty submissive (?) Since he loves his wife sincerely despite that the queen actually cares for herself,,,,

In this AU, Hana is sometimes afraid,,,, fraid that she'll be used by someone she's fond of at the end.

Her oveblot definitely happened either after Riddle's overblot or after all the seven overblots...

Hana may have a strong composure, but not strong enough to control the darkness inside her; In her childhood, she seemed to suffer under some physical curse of black magic. Which she couldn't control it before due to not knowing how to control her emotions.

Hana is blinded by sadness and hatred, but also thinks that justice needs to be served after a betrayal. The cause of her overblot would either be having an argument with the French uncle or her middle biological sister hating her for not being with her at her difficult times

In the classic lore, she loves her sister dearly and often gets naggy and bossy with her for her safety... Which the sister doesn't understand that and keeps getting into unnecessary trouble,,, such as running away without telling the clan where she goes-

Hana's problems never come from outside the clan afterall. She's most influenced by who she grows up with and who she knows since the start of her previous life as a human.

Story:

Hana was trying to have space for herself after being severely stressed than usual- Hana never had space for herself. Which made her slowly become emotionally and mentally unstable as she tried to show a calm composure... And letting her dark magic loose its restraints to her dismay. She accidentally sent the dark magic attack towards Cater's heart, as he was trying to get closer to her to comfort her-

The dark magic made him slowly turn pale and have him spill ink from his mouth...

There was a later day when Hana had a phone call with her sister, Hana was trying to stop her from departing until the sister cursed at her...

'Annie now hates me...' she thinks.

Hana drops her phone.

And dark flowers with thorns started growing around her-

'After all this years of fighting for your safety, letting you have a normal life with video games and having fun friends who are not afraid to approach you since the beginning, is this what you will say... After all the pain I've gone through and sacrificing my childhood with a bloody sword... Just for you and Emoti(other biological sister) to live happier..? ' 'You are such an ungrateful immortal... '

The sad thing Is that the only people who carry in the fight against overblot Hana Is the six clan members who serve for her, her sister figures.

Who did she spared during her overblot? No of them but Kitty... (reason? Yeah, there's a lore about Kitty and Hana. Hana always got bullied and physically abused in the clan. The other sisters that were not Kitty weren't there yet. Well they are loving to Hana but not as closer as Kitty is to Hana... Kitty's support and company as the little sister is the reason why Hana doesn't suicide many times as an immortal despite always coming back to life-)

There may be also a scene where she would keep Riddle hostage- And even tried to do the same with Azul...

RIDDLE AND AZUL TECHNICALLY EXPERIENCED SIMILAR CHILHOOD ISSUES AS HER SO IN ORDER TO KEEP THEM SAFE FROM WHAT HARMS THEM IS TO ISOLATE THEM-

Riddle was captured first, his guard was caught off guard as he was already wrapped around overblot Hana's giant flower vines... Azul was about to fall on Hana's arms, until everyone appeared to rescue. Azul was kind of under the effect of Hana's dark roses. More like some kind of hypnotization but without looking in the eye but influencing through smell.

Hana wants to protect Riddle and Azul by isolating them from everyone, that's what her overblot self thought...

=== Oveblot Hana was about to makes thorns penetrate Crowley's heart until she was stopped by Kitty for a little bit, and realizes that Cater is still approaching her slowly (more like he is limping-) She faced at his figure and made the dark air disappear to see clearly. She silently looked at him until she nearly jumped at Cater falling to the ink stained ground- That's when some spark woke up within her...

Hana quickly approaches Cater's nearly dead body...

Hana: ...?

Cater looked at Hana with weakening eyes.

Hana: ...!

Out of instinct, Hana placed Cater's bleeding head on her lap. She didn't say anything, no matter how many words she wanted to say. But her inky tears could tell what she's feeling at that moment-

Cater: hey...

Hana trembling: ...?

Cater: I cannot ask for another better sister besides you... you made me secure for myself... And you understand me just like Chiaki does...

Cater: I... I love you....

Cater weakly smiling: …And thank you, Hana...

Hana: ....

Hana:.....!

Hana: C-Cater...!

Hana: …. No....

Hana holding Cater's cold hand: No... Please.... Don't leave.... Don't go...

Black tears drop on Cater's lifeless face... The crowd started watching from the background. Slowly, tears became to turn into a pure transparent color .. giving a spark to Cater's head. Which healed Cater as seconds passed by.

There's also the black and white cutscene,,, Where Hana explains her past and stuff, how she got neglected and bullied while being raised by her most of her strict guardians in her clan. Who only saw more as a pawn to use rather than a delicate child to take care of and cherish for...

Hana's overblot phase looks messed up, but this is what happens for enduring the pain for many years since previous life- ===

Hana couldn't look at anyone after that-

She only approached her sisters, who were the ones who immediately came to hug her after coming back to normal,,, It will take a while to recover. Not that she no longer likes everyone, more like she's now afraid of what people will think of her... Her past had something to do with people seeing her as a monster. Hana didn't admit that what inner part of her can be a monster, she blamed her all instead. Hana can't just do her normal routine with a lot of troubling thoughts inside her without struggle,,, she'll have to get homeschooled or do remote as Fleur ordered... Fleur is aware of Hana's issue and still not aware of other overblots- He deeply apologized to the whole school, even mentioned to keep Hana for homeschooling.(for the majority's hope, Cater was able to persuade him for Hana to stay-) Riddle is still having thoughts for sure- but he still has the job to make her feel safe at NRC. So he eventually talked to her and even tried to comfort her.

At first, he sends it in front of her bedroom door, but slowly gets to enter inside and give her the food over the days- Which recovers trust from Hana in a slow pace ===

About 2 months later, that's when Hana gets out of her room,,,, They must be pretty shock to see Hana in a much better state- But Hana is now more closed than how she was since her first day at NRC- Time to recover the social bonds … Hana quietly but clearly apologized once again, as she silently prepared herself some tea,,,

Hana can't even look at her first year boys the same way- They must be angry at her,,,,

That’s right up until Deuce and Ace hug tackle her aidjsjdjaka...(Ace picks up Hana like a cat-)

=== Chiaki was also one of the first to approach Hana... She brought Hana a bento(It’s a card themed bento as a thoughtful idea of representing Hana as a beloved student from the Heartslabyul dorm (although anything diamond related was conveniently left out-)) while Jade was at work- Chiaki's mafia fish bf can’t stop her if he doesn’t know what she’s doing-

Chiaki the gave Hana a big hug- she missed her bestie...

Hana: ... Hana: ....! Hana: .... *Slowly tremble * Hana: *sniffs*... Chiaki-chan...

Chiaki: I just wanted you to know I missed you Hana,,, I’m glad you're okay.

Hana: starts sobbing quietly... Hana: I'm sorry... I'm sorry... ಥ╭╮ಥ Hana: I messed up... I completely messed up... Hana: *coughs* Chiaki: It’s okay Hana, let it out,,,

Hana slowly wrapped her arms around Chiaki and laid her head on her shoulder silently...

Hana also stopped giving bentos to Azul for a while after getting out of her room, afraid of having misunderstanding that she poisoned the food or something - knowing that she had to recover Azul's trust once again,,, Cath was a little bothered by that(technically an Azul x Hana shipper oh no-) and pushed Azul to talk to Hana and push Hana to talk to him.

It was awkward at first. Since leech twins were skeptical at the idea at first, but then Hana started to comfort Azul a little and fixing misunderstandings after Azul spilled his insecurities towards her...

Taking things slow and peacefully. Cath and leech twins had to also stalk them just in case- Who knows if Azul starts yelling at Hana or Hana going to her limit-

Hana was just looking down whenever she was aware of Cater- It was hard hard to forgive herself after nearly killing her brother figure you know,,, That was a very crappy move- Hana stayed polite around him, Trey, and Riddle though, as Cater saw Hana slowly interacting with other people,,, you know, and avoiding him. Hana didn’t mean it in a bad way, but felt so guilty to even start approaching him...

Riddle holding Hana’s hand and Ace giving her words of encouragement,,, Deuce and Trey taking over Hana’s duties, so there’s no excuses,,, Hana will have to somehow talk to Cater.

One day, Ace walked Hana to Cater’s room, comforting her the whole way. He gave Cater and Hana the space they deserved but he was still lurking around in case something happened.

Ace: Riddle’s orders, but I trust you wholeheartedly :D

Cater was lying in bed, Hana could barely see him underneath the blankets. It was a mountain of blankets and sticking out of the top was a messy fluff of ginger hair. Cater was half asleep from pain killers and medication,,, he did almost die afyer all-

Hana called out for Cater gently,,, trying the urge not to nudge him awake like she used to sometimes. She would be shy but she'll literally be gentle and careful with her words for Cater,,, as a good start- Cater merely glanced at Hana over his shoulder. He was there but he was not,,, completely there. Nonetheless, he gave her a sleepy head pat- Hana nearly flinched,,, but she accepted anyway. She slowly sat on the edge of Cater's bed. Cater sat up so there was more room on the bed-

We can hear the awkward silence right now...

Hana somehow started a short conversation first... Something lighter first. She nearly hesitated when asking if Cater is doing alright at the moment. Cater was subconsciously leaning on Hana, lowly cuddling her... Which made Hana grow a little more comfortable step by step.

Is just Hana keep talking about topics softly,,, As long as he doesn't hate Hana or something like that,,, then Hana will find that as a pretty good sign.

Hana then explained to him how she felt and about her thoughts on what happened after the Overblot, while Cater kept listening intently.

once Hana started to get sad, Cater hugged her gently... Probably mumbled “nooo… don’t be sad…”

Hana just curled up like a turtle while being in Cater's arms,,,

Ace went to check on them and finds Cater’s passed out holding Hana close to him,,, He had to get Riddle in there so they could lay Cater down and help Hana if she needed it.

The next day, everyone rented out the Mostró Lounge to have a party, trying and getting Hana to socialize more-

Hana got pretty overwhelmed with socializing and seeing many people in one room, but she'll have to in order to catch up with the others.

Chiaki: heyyy Azul I had an idea-

Azul: Oh..?

Chiaki: okay what if, hear me out, you let me rent out the lounge, hear me out hear me out, so we can have a party? For Hana? To socialize with people more??? With food- and sweets- and-

Azul fixing his glasses: don't say no more- you just read my mind,,-(which he didn't try to use the plan tho-)

Chiaki spends a lot of time just planning with Azul- It’s gotta be perfect.

it was only supposed to be a simple party

But Chiaki and Azul started talking and now it’s a full out party-

Chiaki: … Chiaki: (´･ω･`) it was supposed to be much simpler but Azul and I got carried away oh noo- Hana:... W-Wow...

Chiaki: (˵•ヘ•˵) it’s probably super overwhelming- this wasn’t my intention,,,

Hana: N-No..! Is alright...! I'm just not used to receiving... Hana: Thank you... I mean it... ! ówò

A wild, but now recovered Cater sneaked up on them with a sneak attack hug!!! >:)

Hana flinched, getting surprised at the sudden action- Chiaki probably screamed but quietly,,,,

Cater was amused by their reactions hehe-

He gave them a big hug, probably picking them both off the floor which he definitely. Should not be doing but- Cater >:)
