Psycho Goreman is a special little picture that feels like GWAR described He-Man to a bunch of Canadian ex Face-Off contestants. This movie was a lifesaver and remains a favorite of recent years.

In honor of PG's love for hunky boys, Raven Banner has released a Pride Edition of PG: Psycho Goreman on Blu-ray. Priced at $25, it comes with a limited edition slipcover with art by Elyse Martin.
Written and directed by Steven Kostanski (The Void, Leprechaun Returns), the 2020 sci-fi-horror-comedy stars Nita-Josee Hanna, Owen Myre, Adam Brooks, Alexis Kara Hancey, and Matthew Ninaber as PG.
The set features the Canadian Blu-ray, which offers more special features than the U.S. edition. Details are below.
Special features:
3 audio commentaries
4 behind-the-scenes featurettes
2 interviews
2 trailers
Easter eggs
Siblings Mimi and Luke unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord who was entombed on Earth millions of years ago after a failed attempt to destroy the universe. They nickname the evil creature Psycho Goreman (or PG for short) and use the magical amulet they discovered to force him to obey their childish whims. It isn’t long before PG’s reappearance draws the attention of intergalactic friends and foes from across the cosmos and a rogues’ gallery of alien combatants converges in small-town suburbia to battle for the fate of the galaxy.

I love psycho goreman’s strong stance that while PG might be a mass murderer bent on destroying everything and killing everyone,* he’s still not as bad as religious colonizers who want to ensalve people.
It’s a controversial take but I think they make a compelling point** and I have to agree with them. Broadly unbiased mass murder is probably(?) better than an eternity of enslavement and suffering. Yknow. In a kind of detached from reality, theoretical sense. Which appears to be the kind of logic this movie subscribes to.
FOOTNOTES:
* I don’t really get this part of his backstory because he appears to have desires mostly to free his planet from their oppressors but tbh it’s not there for me to think about. I’m just curious why they bothered with the whole slave backstory if the enslavement didn’t really matter. He could still have had a personal history with pandora & her religious group. Oh well, it doesn’t really bother me tbh
** I don’t remember what I meant by this.
