Work in progress!
As I said, I suck at drawing landscapes and places and any other thing that is not a living person in general... OH! Also perspective! Sooo I’m fishing nice photos from pinterest and I’m trying to figure out how the perspective works.
That will become a One Piece fanart, because YES.

This was meant to stay in the discord but my fuckass artist brain kicked in and I had to share my little composition lesson with you all.
What gets me most is that the scaling and centering of each image aligns both of their heads with an approximate horizon line, as they would be in an actual perspective study.
(shittily rendered 2 point perspective below)

you don't know if you like your new workplace.
actually, no, you know for a solid fact you don't like your new workplace. it's not the job, you actually like your job, it's the building it's in- an old office complex left untouched from the 90's until it was bought out a few years ago and renovated just barely enough to pass code. your company is the first to rent any of the spaces- half of the fourth floor. the rest is empty enough for your footsteps to echo on carpet. the elevators smell like cat piss when it rains.
you try to find the side stairs one summer when it pours for two weeks straight and you can't take it anymore. it takes you a solid 15 minutes of getting lost in the empty half for you to even find the door- even longer to find the other stairwell door when you realize the left side is locked.
you run across a hallway you never noticed before. you couldn't find it on the map. all the walls have holes cut in them, windows into empty rooms. you find it unsettling, and keep your eyes on the floor.

✐❏ Perspective Studies ✎❏
Finally getting to that point in an artist's life where they study perspective. Is it hard? Yes. But it's an important skill! Anyway, I actually re-did these in an effort to really nail that perspective and to make it less of a wide lens.
