lrb i remember reading this like. science mag when i was much younger and seeing this study on attraction and female participants would like. say they were attracted to people around their own age w maybe like a max 5-10 year age gap. and men consistently reported being attracted to 18-25 year olds well into their 50s and jesus fucking christ .

Photos from my brave day! I saw Cirque du Soleil Corteo! I saw it once when I was seven years old and the angels took me up onto the stage to dance with them. It’s been my favourite ever since. It was very emotional watching it all these years later and realizing what the story is about. It’s a funeral parade, a celebration of life. I spent much of 2021 thinking about my own funeral and wishing I could see a Cirque show one last time. I am so grateful I got to see it again and very hopeful it will not be my last. It was just as wonderful as it was the first time I saw it!
