Tomohisa, literally shaking: “okaY! This is Mami her parents died in a car crash and despite being only 15 she lives by herself with NO apparent guardians or adult supervision so she is in desperate need of healthy role models and affection”

Tomohisa: “and THIS is Nagisa she’s 12 and she has an absentee father while her mother recently died of an illness in the hospital. She is currently living with Mami, who shouldn’t even be looking after herself let alone ANOTHER CHILD.”

Junko: “definitely not”

Tomohisa: “so we now have two new daughters!”

Sayaka: “wow Madoka, if this is how your dad is acting around those two wait until he finds out about Kyoko”

Tomohisa: “…Kyoko?”

Sayaka, nervously: “umm so her dad go kicked out of the church and so their family started to starve then eventually after things started to look better, her dad snapped and burned down their home with Kyoko’s mom and sister inside, now she’s homeless and steals food to survive”

Tomohisa:

I just wanna say it was a huge coincidence my brother told me about your works right after I started rewatching El Tigre, as the show truly shaped me as a kid and kept me going growing up through troubling times with my health. I am SO IN LOVE with your version of him and I won’t lie, I love what you’ve got going with him and our other nostalgic protagonists (him and Danny). I’m so glad my brother told me where to find you, and I can’t wait to see more with Manny and the others!

I have been neglecting him lately but Thoma is still and will always be a favorite. He's so devoted and caring and would do his best to make time for his beloved amidst all his other responsibilities. Plus, he knows all the best ways to make housework easier/more bearable and would definitely do whatever chores his beloved dislikes/can't handle.

Plus he'd make such a good dad. Whether the kids are biologically his or adopted, he's going to make them feel so loved and keep them safe. He has such Girl Dad vibes so I bet he'd be fantastic with a daughter to spoil.

You're so right anon, he *will* always be a favorite! I've also been neglecting him a bit, but he's always around!

You're also extremely right about him either giving you a helping hand when you're overwhelmed with chores and always, always splits them 50/50 so you all can get them done faster (more like 70/30 because he always takes on more of the tasks!)

He really would be such a great father tbh. I absolutely believe family is something that is extremely important to Thoma. Between losing his parents and having to pretty much build everything back up from scratch in Inazuma, he's no stranger to loneliness or being othered in some way or another. There's definitely a bond there with the Kamisatos, but it's...different. There's something about having a family of his own that's always tickled his thoughts, and he's so open and warm and caring, that it's almost impossible for others to see him and not wish the same for him!
