DUMAGUETE, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- Maya Bank Inc. (MBI) officially secures its electrical utility payment partnership with Negros Oriental Electric Cooperative 2 (NORECO II) as announced last Tuesday afternoon (January 10th, 2023 -- Dumaguete local time).

Member Consumer Owners can skip their lines to pay the bills at the main office of NORECO II in Real Street, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. Advanced payment is optional when you only contact the Consumer Welfare Desk for more information.

Here is how you can to pay if you're a Verified or new Maya user:

1. Download the Maya app, register and submit your valid IDs as instructed (if you're a Philippine resident in Negros Oriental only). 2. If your Maya account is fully verified, tap 'Bills', followed by 'Electric Utility' and select 'NORECO II' when scrolling it down. 3. Provide your real Account Number, the amount you intend to pay and your Account Name. and 4. Check all your details along with your Monthly Electrical Bill as indicated if this is correct and pay it directly.

The Negrosanon electrical company says, all Maya payments are in real time upon matching your NORECO II billing account, since the payment partnership of MBI energizes your homes and establishment that brings closer to you as a good electrical payer. Transaction reference will serve as your receipt, rather than the actual one in previous generations.

Maya is the only digital banking all-in-one finance app and was supervised by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). MBI ensures all the Negrosanons to pay their bills on time with NORECO II, even with advanced payment to avoid line disconnections when unpaid for a delinquent individual.

Okay so I would not ask this if it wasn't completely necessary but my dad recently got unjustly fired from his job (his union have already filed a lawsuit but the results of that would take ages) so we're currently short on cash which means I might not be able to enroll this semester (when I'm literally TWO semesters away from graduating 😭) so if anyone of you could help a pal out that would be really awesome.

I'll do my best on the other costs (rent, transportation, food) but it's the tuition fee that's really kicking my ass rn. That's 24,630.50 Philippine Pesos (or around 432.04 US dollars currently), which i can't get that quickly given that classes start this September.
