"You memorize the worst of me," he said.
Amoret frowned, watching his eyes trace his own fingers, her curls strewn in the field, the flowers dotting the grass. "Show me something better, then."
The wind shifted and his hair blew across his face, gaze darting dumbfounded to where she waited for an answer she knew would never come. She reached up to brush away the strands like he always did, deliberately, curiously, and Tom stared brazenly at her even as she pulled back.
"You wouldn't know where to begin, would you?"

GET TO KNOW ME: ♡ [1/10] female characters: Colette Chapdelaine
Paper Confines | by @sainteda
Colette was physically nonpareil beside Nadya, blonde curls rolled to her chin, cheeks flushed with autumn cold or the rouge she'd borrowed from her aunt and never given back. It was uneven across her pale cheeks, but suited her pink peacoat. Even leaning on her good leg, she was at least half a head taller than Amoret in a pair of last year's sling-backs, and her hazel eyes were thinned by a smile.

Finally finished my portrait of the twelfth doctor :D
This piece was largely inspired by that one post with the 9th doctor absolutely slaying in the background while rose watches the destruction of (earth?).
I actually enjoyed this piece so much, I'm going to have a little print made for myself. If anyone else would like one let me know :D

Thinking about the inherent cognitive dissonance involved with Augustine believing herself the savior of Conduit-kind while simultaneously manipulating Fetch into reliving her trauma for the purposes of making her into a weapon and outright torturing Hank and Eugene and keeping every single Conduit in Curdun Cay in solitary confinement. the dissonance between seeing yourself as a benevolent protector of the helpless masses and seeing those exact same people as tools only you can wield if they do as told and expendable and disposable if/when they don’t suit your needs. what a character. I would like to tear her limb from limb

story by me (craig)
I are literature
In the quiet town of Doodleville, there lived a peculiar doodle named Craig. Craig was no ordinary sketch; he was a cat with a mission. Despite his simple appearance, Craig harbored ambitions far grander than his humble origins suggested.
From a young age, Craig possessed an insatiable curiosity and a keen intellect. While his peers contented themselves with idle doodling, Craig spent his days studying the world around him, absorbing knowledge like a sponge. He learned about history, politics, and the intricacies of human behavior, all from the confines of his paper realm.
As Craig grew older, his ambitions expanded. He yearned for something more than the confines of Doodleville. He dreamed of venturing beyond the borders of his sketchbook and making his mark on the wider world.
One fateful day, Craig's opportunity arrived in the form of a stray pencil left unattended on the edge of his page. With a mixture of determination and excitement, Craig seized the pencil and began to draw. He sketched a doorway leading out of Doodleville, and with a final flourish, he stepped through into the unknown.
The world outside was vast and full of wonders, but it was also fraught with danger. Undeterred, Craig embarked on a quest to carve out his own destiny. Along the way, he encountered a colorful cast of characters, from mischievous doodles to formidable adversaries.
Despite the challenges he faced, Craig never lost sight of his ultimate goal: to leave his mark on the world and reshape it according to his vision. With each obstacle overcome and each victory achieved, Craig grew stronger and more determined than ever before.
In the end, Craig's journey was not just about conquering the world, but about discovering his true self and realizing his full potential. As he stood atop the highest peak, surveying the realm he had conquered, Craig knew that his adventures were only just beginning. For Craig was not just a doodle; he was a legend in the making, destined for greatness beyond the confines of his paper kingdom.

He slid in beside her and sat. "Nihilism doesn't suit you."
"Because you're such an optimist."
"In certain regards."
"How's that?"
"I can't seem to let you die."
She glared at him. His expression didn't change. "The reaper persists, and I deny him each time. Haven't you noticed?"

Inktober Day 10: Hoopa
I was going to do the unbound form but apparently it loses the ghost typing in exchange for dark type when unbound!

she hadn't even realised when her heart stopped—dad had said it so many times with his hand clasped over hers: you're so strong, etta. you would turn tides. you're so strong, so strong—and then there was nothing. she was swaying in the vast emptiness thinking, this is the sea. if i reached out i could swim.

just remembered the college i dropped out of (1) did not allow undergrads to take incompletes including if the reason you were taking an incomplete was going on medical leave for professionally diagnosed mental illness (2) had a max extension policy on final papers including for people who needed extension because they were going on medical leave for professionally diagnosed mental illness of something like three fucking weeks? and (3) had the policy that if you were unable to sit for the exam of a class such as if for example you were several states away because your mom had come to take you home when you went on medical leave for professionally diagnosed mental illness, you had to come back and take the final six months later
