During his years in early years in P!ATD, Ryan had some pretty iconic makeup looks both on and off stage. Fans dubbed the base of his looks the ‘Rycoon’ because before he started doing a thick band across his eyes and nose he would do heavy eyeshadow with some kind of design over one of his eyes. The whole band experimented with make up during this time, though Ryan’s was the most elaborate, and when questioned they (Ryan in particular, as he made the artistic calls for the most part) were defensive/nonchalant in their answers asking “If you liked the album before we had make up on, why would it suddenly become worse [now we have make up on]?” Ryan did all of his own make up designs and application himself. He was once offered a modelling contract from MAC, who were supplying the band with their makeup at the time, but he declined - had he accepted he would’ve been the first male makeup model in the industry.

Moodboard Day 10: May 28th

I’m feeling more and more insecure in my body and keep hearing that voice telling me to starve…I’ve been wearing a lot of baggy clothes recently just so that I don’t have to see my body.

I’ve also been on a crazy cleaning kick recently. I bought a new cleaner: Pink Stuff. And omg!! It works so well! I’m currently hand scrubbing my entire kitchen floor and I’ve already done my whole bathroom. I love it so much!

But I’ve been feeling really alone and isolated. I also had a bunch of auditory hallucinations last night. It’s really never fun to hear something whisper “we’re here” at 1a while you’re grabbing a snack in the dark
