Prayer to Our Lady of Loreto
O Virgin of Loreto, greeting thee with filial devotion, I love to repeat the words of the Archangel Gabriel and also thine: “Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.” “The Almighty has done great things in me.” O Virgin of Loreto, Thy house is a dwelling place of Light and Charity; Obtain for me the true Light and full Charity. May peace pervade my soul, sometimes restless and fearful; May love fill my life and radiate all around. Prolong, O Mary, this moment of serene joy; Defend me in temptations and every difficult trial with thy motherly protection. Please let me come to the Father’s House where thou reignst as Queen. Amen.

Praça Luís de Camões, Lisbon
Praça de Luís de Camões, colloquially Largo de Camões, is located in Chiado, in the parish of Misericórdia (until 2013 in the parish of Encarnação), in Lisbon.
Its toponymy is due to the desire to be installed there a statue to the poet of Os Lusíadas, inaugurated on October 9, 1867, driven by the desire to praise patriotism by the Central Commission 1 december 1640.
It is located the Consulate General of Brazil in the Portuguese capital and the Ministry of Economy.
The statue of Luís de Camões is of the sculptor Vítor Bastos and was inaugurated on October 9, 1867. The figure is bronze and is 4 meters high, based on an octogonal pedestal surrounded by eight statues: Fernão Lopes, Pedro Nunes, Gomes Eanes de Azurara, João de Barros, Fernão Lopes de Cantanhede, Vasco Mouzinho de Quevedo, Jerónimo Corte-Real and Francisco Sá de Menezes. The monument to Camões is the oldest in Lisbon in its kind, being more modern only than the equestrian statue of D. José I.

Could you please pray for me? I am trying to get through college right now and I've already failed multiple classes and am struggling to not fail them again because of mental disorder issues. I am terrified of being a failure to my parents and I just want to get the certification to get a job in the field I'm looking at (aviation maintenance). I feel very stupid and alone and I just want to prove I can accomplish things and be independent, and be someone my parents can be proud of. Thank you so much if so. Also, I am not Catholic so I'm not familiar with many saints, but if you know of any saints I could look to for inspiration and motivation it would be really appreciated if you're okay with that. Thank youx7 and God bless you
Even if you fail your classes Anon, you can always take them again later. I struggled with a lot of anxiety during college trying to finish a degree but in the end, I decided the degree wasn’t worth it and I needed to prioritize my mental health. I felt bad spending the hard earned money, but I learned a valuable set of lessons from my mistakes and learned I am not a failure. My parents wanted only my happiness and I am sure most would say the same. Some parents place high expectations on us, but remember you will always have more chances pass. It might be a good idea to take a break from classes (even if it’s just one semester or two) or reduce the number of classes. Too much stress can wreck our health. I will keep you in my prayers!
Here are some saints you may find good to ask for help in praying for you. They have more than one patronage but I have listed ones related to your situation:
- St. Jude, patron saint of hope and impossible causes.
- Our Lady of Loreto, patron saint of patron saint of pilots, airmen and flight attendants.
- St. Joseph of Cupertino, patron saint of aviation, astronauts, mental handicaps, test taking, and students.
- St. Padre Pio, patron saint of stress relief.
- St. Joseph, patron saint of families, travelers, engineers and working people.
- St. Thomas Aquinas, patron saint of universities and scholars.
- St. Thérèse of Lisieux, patron saint of the sick.
- St. Raphael, patron saint of travelers.
- St. Dymphna, patron saint of those who suffer with mental and nervous disorders.
- St. Benedict Joseph Labre, patron saint of those suffering from mental illness.
- St. Juliana Falconieri, those suffering from bodily ills
- St. Christina the Astonishing, patron saint of the mentally ill.
- Our Lady of Lourdes, patron saint of healing.

Greetings! Today we have a pick a card solely with the Keep Calm and Trust GOD deck. How this goes is that you choose one of the cards above. Today we have Saint Mother Theresa for pile 1, Our Lady of Loreto for pile 2, and Saint Raphael Archangel for pile 3. An encouragement from spirit lately when it comes to these is that if anyone does something similar it is to choose a pile before the reading proceeds. Are you ready? Let's Begin.
Pile #1
Tumblr media
Greetings pile number one. If you were drawn to this pile you will notice that it is Saint Mother Theresa. Oh wow pile number 1, I get the feeling that some of you have been praying for someone with the way Mother Theresa is posed. There is also a sense of cleaning ugly messes and even energy as I get the vision of someone struggling in darkness. Your prayers will be answered pile number 1. Also start re-evaluating how you pray. Don't take advantage of others and repay them in service.
Tumblr media
We have the Bible Verse from Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your GOD; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand". Behind it is the Bible verse from Philemon 4:19 "GOD will meet all your needs according to His glory in Christ Jesus."
Pile number one, some of you know not GOD. It's as if you get involved with your life thinking religion has nothing to do within society when it is immensely important. You might even go being Atheist to a point. I can guarantee you that GOD is real and can be found through the sacred scriptures of the Bible. But some of you refute GOD isn't in your life. Just because you ignore or blind yourself from the religious symbolism does not mean that it isn't around. Also you need to get involve in BEING closer to Jesus. If being inside of a church bothers you for any reason I recommend looking up and reading the Bible. It's free online with different versions and there are apps for it like OliveTree. Also note that you chose Mother Theresa who did a lot of non profit work through volunteering. I ask that you volunteer your time to a service.
That is all pile number 1. Take care and learn to grow closer to GOD.
Pile number 2
Tumblr media
You chose Our Lady of San Loreto. Ah, there is a twnder warmth as I get the image of the hand close to her heart. Some of you appear to have been to a point of begging as I get the image of a woman saying "I'm begging..." The angels are all around and listening as Our Lady of San Loreto is pictured with angels. When a BEING prays there will be an answer with what some of you might call your circumstances. The angels are helping you pile number 2 and their message is "Learn to behave" Reflect on your behavior. Some of you are in Santa's nice list. Give grace to GOD .
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Your card is the same card as pile number 1.
Bible verse Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your GOD; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
There is an emphasis on Bible verse Philemon 4: 19 "GOD will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." I ask you to attend mass pile number 2. Not just to learn Jesus' words. You can read them on your own with Bible apps or even free online things starting with Matthew. Start getting closer to GOD. He is all around.
That is all pile number 2.
Pile #3
Tumblr media
You chose Archangel Saint Rafael. Ah some of you need upliftment from some obstacles. The season of fall in the Northern Hemisphere began briefly in September and the nights are getting longer as the days pass. You need grounding pile number 3. Attend a mass and send a light.
Tumblr media
We have the Bible Verse 2 Peter 1:2 "Grace and peace be yours in abundance."
Peace be with you pile number 3. Know that the challenges are gonna be smooth now that we are in Autumn in the northern hemisphere. Tis the season to prepare for the upcoming Winter as it snows and there is cold air.
I don't have much to say to you pile number 3. You earned this!

10th December >> Mass Readings (Except USA)
Saturday, Second Week of Advent
    or
Our Lady of Loreto.
Saturday, Second Week of Advent
(Liturgical Colour: Violet)
First Reading
Ecclesiasticus 48:1-4,9-12
The prophet Elijah will come again.
The prophet Elijah arose like a fire,    his word flaring like a torch. It was he who brought famine on the people,    and who decimated them in his zeal. By the word of the Lord, he shut up the heavens,    he also, three times, brought down fire. How glorious you were in your miracles, Elijah!    Has anyone reason to boast as you have? Taken up in the whirlwind of fire,    in a chariot with fiery horses; designated in the prophecies of doom    to allay God’s wrath before the fury breaks, to turn the hearts of fathers towards their children,    and to restore the tribes of Jacob, Happy shall they be who see you,    and those who have fallen asleep in love.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 79(80):2-3,15-16,18-19
R/ God of hosts, bring us back; let your face shine on us and we shall be saved.
O shepherd of Israel, hear us,    shine forth from your cherubim throne. O Lord, rouse up your might,    O Lord, come to our help.
R/ God of hosts, bring us back; let your face shine on us and we shall be saved.
God of hosts, turn again, we implore,    look down from heaven and see. Visit this vine and protect it,    the vine your right hand has planted.
R/ God of hosts, bring us back; let your face shine on us and we shall be saved.
May your hand be on the man you have chosen,    the man you have given your strength. And we shall never forsake you again;    give us life that we may call upon your name.
R/ God of hosts, bring us back; let your face shine on us and we shall be saved.
Gospel Acclamation
Alleluia, alleluia! The day of the Lord is near; Look, he comes to save us. Alleluia!
Or:
Luke 3:4,6
Alleluia, alleluia! Prepare a way for the Lord, make his paths straight, and all mankind shall see the salvation of God. Alleluia!
Gospel
Matthew 17:10-13
Elijah has come already and they did not recognise him.
As they came down from the mountain the disciples put this question to Jesus, ‘Why do the scribes say that Elijah has to come first?’ ‘True;’ he replied ‘Elijah is to come to see that everything is once more as it should be; however, I tell you that Elijah has come already and they did not recognise him but treated him as they pleased; and the Son of Man will suffer similarly at their hands.’ The disciples understood then that he had been speaking of John the Baptist.
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Lady of Loreto
(Liturgical Colour: White)
(Readings for the memorial)
(There is a choice today between the readings for the ferial day (Saturday) and those for the memorial. The ferial readings are recommended unless pastoral reasons suggest otherwise)
First Reading
Isaiah 7:10-14,8:10
The maiden is with child.
The Lord spoke to Ahaz and said, ‘Ask the Lord your God for a sign for yourself coming either from the depths of Sheol or from the heights above.’ ‘No,’ Ahaz answered ‘I will not put the Lord to the test.’    Then Isaiah said:
‘Listen now, House of David: are you not satisfied with trying the patience of men without trying the patience of my God, too? The Lord himself, therefore, will give you a sign. It is this: the maiden is with child and will soon give birth to a son whom she will call Immanuel, a name which means “God-is-with-us.”’
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
Luke 1:46-55
R/ The Almighty works marvels for me. Holy is his name! or R/ Blessed is the Virgin Mary, who bore the Son of the eternal Father.
My soul glorifies the Lord,    my spirit rejoices in God, my Saviour.
R/ The Almighty works marvels for me. Holy is his name! or R/ Blessed is the Virgin Mary, who bore the Son of the eternal Father.
He looks on his servant in her nothingness;    henceforth all ages will call me blessed. The Almighty works marvels for me.    Holy his name!
R/ The Almighty works marvels for me. Holy is his name! or R/ Blessed is the Virgin Mary, who bore the Son of the eternal Father.
His mercy is from age to age,    on those who fear him. He puts forth his arm in strength    and scatters the proud-hearted.
R/ The Almighty works marvels for me. Holy is his name! or R/ Blessed is the Virgin Mary, who bore the Son of the eternal Father.
He casts the mighty from their thrones    and raises the lowly. He fills the starving with good things,    sends the rich away empty.
R/ The Almighty works marvels for me. Holy is his name! or R/ Blessed is the Virgin Mary, who bore the Son of the eternal Father.
He protects Israel, his servant,    remembering his mercy, the mercy promised to our fathers,    to Abraham and his sons for ever.
R/ The Almighty works marvels for me. Holy is his name! or R/ Blessed is the Virgin Mary, who bore the Son of the eternal Father.
Gospel Acclamation
cf. Luke 1:28
Alleluia, alleluia! Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee! Blessed art thou among women. Alleluia!
Gospel
Luke 1:26-38
'I am the handmaid of the Lord'.
The angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the House of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. He went in and said to her, ‘Rejoice, so highly favoured! The Lord is with you.’ She was deeply disturbed by these words and asked herself what this greeting could mean, but the angel said to her, ‘Mary, do not be afraid; you have won God’s favour. Listen! You are to conceive and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David; he will rule over the House of Jacob for ever and his reign will have no end.’ Mary said to the angel, ‘But how can this come about, since I am a virgin?’ ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you’ the angel answered ‘and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. Know this too: your kinswoman Elizabeth has, in her old age, herself conceived a son, and she whom people called barren is now in her sixth month, for nothing is impossible to God.’ ‘I am the handmaid of the Lord,’ said Mary ‘let what you have said be done to me.’ And the angel left her.
The Gospel of the Lord
R/ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

THE DESCRIPTION OF OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY Feast Day: October 7
In the words of Pope Francis: "The Rosary is a prayer that always accompanies me; it is also the prayer of the ordinary people and the saints... it is a prayer from my heart."
As well as Bl. Bartolo Longo: "Awaken your confidence in the Most Blessed Virgin of the Rosary. Venerable Holy Mother, in You I rest all my troubles, all my trust and all my hope!"
And there is the description for this one - for the Holy Rosary is a matter of love.
The feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary was established in 1571 by Pope St. Pius V, to commemorate the decisive victory of the combined fleet of the Holy League of 1571 over the Ottoman Turks at the Battle of Lepanto. The victory of the Christian fleet over the Ottoman Fleet was attributed to the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose help invoked through prayed the Holy Rosary.
According to a venerable tradition, this beautiful prayer was revealed to the founder of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans), St. Dominic de Guzmán, by the Blessed Mother. The 150 Hail Marys (now 200) corresponded to the number of Psalms, which the illiterate people of that time could not understand. The first part of the Hail Mary was taken from the Holy Gospel of Luke; the second part is from the tradition of the Church.
The 20 mysteries, divided into Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous, reflected the principal events of the life of Jesus and Mary. Pope Paul VI said that a rosary without meditation on these mysteries is like a dead person without life.
The litany, taken from the Sanctuary of Loreto in Italy, were added to the rosary in 1592. The Fátima Prayer, which we repeat after every decade, was dictated by the Blessed Virgin Mary to the three visionaries of Fátima in 1917.
Those who consider it monotonous to repeat the same prayer so many times should be reminded that lovers are never tired of repeating the same few words over and over.
These four images here is the vintage and antique image of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is owned from a family which spanned from generations.
