As for #14. What trope would you refuse to write even if you were paid to do it?

Hmmmm..... probably a tie between preg fic (where the main character is pregnant) and kid fic (where the whole story revolves around my OTP as parents). My reluctance to write both kinda comes from the same place. I had 2 **really** shitty pregnancies and have ZERO positive memories of the experience. Like, seriously spent the better part of 2 years just praying for death kind of negative emotions about the experience. There's no universe where I'm going to write a story where, say, Lexi is pregnant and happy and living her best life because that wasn't *my* lived experience and it wouldn't feel authentic to write. (And honestly, I'm not really sure how many people who *DO* enjoy those types of stories wanna read my super caustic take on the whole "growing a human" thing.) Like, if I ever were to go down that path the tags would be like "Pregnancy, Whump, Angst, Dead Dove Do Not Eat". lol Just sayin'. Similarly, both of my kids have had different, but substantial health issues. As much as I'd love to say otherwise, I'm not always as zen a parent as I'd like to be because of it. (Having a child with sensory-seeking sensory deprivation issues will REALLY drive you to your wits end, especially when you have your own sensory issues to deal with.) Since a lot of my creative "juice" is fueled by stress, I'm worried that if I ever wrote a "kid fic" story, my OTP would not come across in a great light because I don't trust myself not to wind up writing about all the shitty parts of parenting. Again, more power to those people who want to read & write those fics, but I just don't ever see myself being in that camp because the product I'd put out would almost certainly NOT be what that audience is looking for in the tag. (Sorry to anyone who's dreams I just crushed by that answer, btw!!!)

Tbh she's been right about a few of her leaks in the past. Like she's been wrong before but it doesn't mean she's wrong about everything, I think there are some things that are half true like the person on reddit who is trustworthy and spoiled 001 being vecna backed up a couple of her spoilers, such as them going to surfer boy for salt so they'll do the sensory deprivation tank thing. But I think the leaks about ships (especially Jancy bc they're her otp) are reliable at all, same with the fact that she never spoils anything about characters she doesn't like. If you went by her spoilers, Will doesn't get a storyline at all, other than apparently staring at Mike and El at surfer boy 😂

Yes, some of her stuff has been right, but she's lying about having "sources on the inside." She's just picking and choosing leaks she finds on reddit (not all of which are accurate)--and she is very biased in what she chooses to post. She hates Will and byler, so all of her "leaks" are very against both of those obviously. She tries to spin the leaks to fit the narrative she wants, then pretends to have people on the inside who can back up her story. Even though she's been accurate once in a while, it's too sporadic to believe anything she has to say. I don't take anything she says seriously unless I see it confirmed in a teaser or leaked set pic.

Catra is the only person to understand what Shadow Weaver did to Adora. Glimmer tries to help, until she's dealing with her own issues, and becomes part of the problem - it shows that unfortunately she never truly understood Adora's circumstances. However, by the end of the show, I think everyone is starting to get it, and if they don't then Catra will make them.

This afternoon ive been thinking in my head about how I would write a post or video about different kinds of deprivation in SPOP, because we get so many examples - material and sensory deprivation (adora and the horde born characters), social deprivation (entrapta), maternal deprivation (catra, plus everyone else but mostly her), cultural erasure (scorpia), and poor education (the rebellion characters, both in terms of their understanding of the First Ones/the Horde, and in their ability to understand the implications of deprivation on their peers).

I think it would be a fun analysis.

They might be the most wholesome couple in Tolkien (not related! same age!) and certainly more wholesome than the other OTP (also not related! also kinky!), but that has nothing to do with their sex life, aside from it being entirely consensual.

He does appreciate good food and does have preferences (he's a fan of fish, from his childhood), but it’s something he could live without.

How I feel about this character: I don't like Chad canon and what they did to him in his arc. I don't like that this character is Ella's child. But... I like what the fandom has done with Chad. I like the analysis and development that he can have. I like the potential that Chad has. Especially when it comes to learning to recognize the authoritarianism of the government and his privileged position. I like that Chad is actually smart, he has the rules memorized in his head. I like that Chad is charismatic and manipulative. I like that Chad knows that he is attractive and uses it to his advantage. I like that Chad is a romantic and strives to make the people he loves happy. Now, take all of that and make a good character. A kind and brave character. Take all that and make a son worthy of Ella. Sounds interesting right? Well, if you are interested in this I invite you to read RebelPaisley. Say that Nocturna sent you (?). But it's thanks to this author that I saw Chad's potential and started adding him to my stories. I like Chad. This Chad.

My unpopular opinion about this character: They didn’t know what to do with Chad. They didn't know what to do with Chad after he served for Evie's arc.

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:  They owe me the friendship between Ben and Chad. They made Chad the joke of everyone. And they took away any redemption arc from him. Does anyone remember how in the middle D1 Chad and Jay seemed to reach a friendship? And how does Ben mess up Chad's hair in the end? What happened with that? Eh? And secondly, how do they happen to have Ella's son and the Fairy Godmother's daughter and not have them as best friends (or something more, IDK)? Chad must have been Jane’s prince. And Jane must have been Chad's fairy. Platonic or not. Can you imagine how cool it would have been if they referred to each other as "mine"? "Yeah, Chad is obsessed with being the perfect prince and sometimes he looks like a fool. But he's my fool for as long as I can remember.
