Apparently the carrd has been acting up, so here’s a post of my original characters! They can also be found here! ♥

Haru Yamada

Height: 5’8 (177 cm) Pronouns: They/Them

Appearance: Shoulder-blade length black hair that’s prone to frizz. Androgynous. Deep brown eyes. Lithe, but not very fit. Very pale. Age: 27 Birthday: December 5th – Sagittarius Sexuality: Pansexual Personality: While they appear easy-going, Haru is a very observant person and is prone to pick up details others might miss. The info they gain usually isn’t used against others… They just like to know things. A bit irritable after being forced to drop out of grad school due to finances and take over the family coffee shop, “A Coffee or Two.” Haru yearns for knowledge and feels trapped. Haru is very good at regulating their emotions and because of that, they can easily manipulate others. However, they vastly prefer the ‘kill 'em with kindness’ method. They’re very loyal to their friends but prefer to keep their 'circle’ small. A service switch - willing to do whatever it takes to please their partner, though they do get a kick out of teasing. Has a secret 'free use’ kink and wants their partners to use them whenever and however they want.

BNHA-Verse Extra Quirk: Rapid Heating Quirk Info: Haru has never been much of a fighter, but their quirk is perfect for the business they run. Haru can rapidly heat up their hands without fear of injury, which helps them to brew coffee and tea as well as ensure things are the perfect temperature. They can get a rough read on temperature just by touching something.

Miho Nakajima

Height: 5’9 (180 cm) Pronouns: She/Her Appearance: Long and thick ash blonde hair that’s usually tied back into a bun. Has two fluffy white ears and a fluffy tail. Sharp canines and sharp nails. Piercing red, feline-like eyes that are usually lined with dark makeup. Thick and strong with a lot of leg muscle. Like a real cat, she has a cute pooch on her stomach that acts as her ‘primordial pouch.’ Tans easily. Age: 25 Birthday: March 8th – Pisces Sexuality: Lesbian Personality: Rather optimistic, but prone to making impulse decisions born from high emotions. She wants to help everyone around her. As a child, she faced bullying for her quirk and Miho can sometimes be quick to take the defensive on comments about it, even if they are innocuous. Prone to being overprotective of those around her, but will back off if someone is uncomfortable. She had a string of relationships that ended due to circumstances out of her hands, so she’s reluctant to commit again. Switch leaning top, but is willing to bottom for people she trusts. A pillow princess at heart, but occasionally she gets pent up and will give her partner such a good time they won’t even know what happened. Rope bunny.

BNHA Verse Extra

Quirk: Cat Quirk Info: Much like Tsuyu’s frog quirk, Miho has all the abilities that a cat would have: fast reflexes, sharp claws, heightened sense of smell and hearing, flexibility… You name it, there’s a chance that Miho’s quirk is able to do it. Unlike cats, she does not have any whiskers. (Though she wishes she did!) She’s incredibly agile and plans to become a teacher once she’s finished with grad school. Her hope is to teach at UA.

Danny (Daniel) Glass

Height: 5’5 (165 cm) Pronouns: He/Him Appearance: Striking violet eyes that are always underlined by dark circles from lack of sleep. Black hair (naturally brown) that’s shaved into an undercut on the right side. Intricate floral tattoo on his neck. Russet skin. Short and fairly strong. Age: 30 Birthday: February 10th – Aquarius Sexuality: Bisexual Personality: Danny comes off as stoic but is a rather emotional guy when you get to know him. He cherishes close friendships and doesn’t make time for acquaintances. He can be lax with his studies, but he’s intelligent. He marches to the beat of his own drum and doesn’t really care what other people think about him, though he often still finds himself seeking approval by dressing fashionably. He’s been trying to kick smoking for a year with no success. Currently in Grad School for Architecture and Design, but is constantly questions academia despite enjoying his studies. Has never really been one for long-term relationships because he’s so unwilling to open up, but he wouldn’t reject one outright. Confident, just very quiet. Was in an open adoption as a child and is close with his parents and bio parents. He’s very proud of his heritage as a Native American, his bio parents hailing from the Kiowa tribe. A sub, almost always. He likes to be told what to do and how to do it - prefers rewards over punishments. Not interested in dominating his partners in any way. Prefers soft and romantic sex. Really into JOI, but from lovers only - the videos do nothing for him.

Alexandre Valentin

Height: 6’3” (193 cm) Pronouns: He/Him Appearance: Long and pale blonde hair, wavy. Deep blue eyes. Lanky with a lot of upper-strength and muscle. (He’s pretty twink-y, though.) Pale skin. Age: 29 Birthday: September 4th — Virgo Sexuality: Demi, Bisexual Personality: A quiet and reserved man. Alexandre prefers to spend time alone and read. He works at a library but does under the table work for extra cash when he feels like buying something nice. Alexandre is extremely morally grey, and has a lot of connections because of it. Flirty when he feels like it, but tends to keep to himself unless someone really interests him. When he does get interested, he falls fast and hard. He’s fairly low-maintenance and doesn’t do well around those who need a lot of attention. A bratty sub and a cruel dom - not picky about which role he takes, though Alexandre prefers lazy morning sex with no real 'roles’ over anything else. Consensual somnophilia kink.

BNHA Verse Extra Specialty: ??? (Vigilante) (Underground) Hero Name: Bataille Quirk: Blade Limbs Quirk Info: Alexandre can turn his arms into sharp blades that function just as a sword would. They’re quite heavy, so they require an immense amount of stamina to use. He doesn’t care for hero society and prefers to work in the shadows.

Sanguine

Height: 5’4 (152 cm) Appearance: Shoulder-length, curly bubblegum pink hair. Violet eyes. Fat with wide hips and a large bust. (Picrews are not an indication of her body size.) Age: 28 Pronouns: She/Her Birthday: June 6th — Gemini Sexuality: Pan Personality: She loves anything cute and tries to reflect it in her style. She’s a hopeless flirt and romantic, but will respect boundaries if told the back off. Constantly harboring new crushes. She’s almost always tired and can be seen nursing and iced coffee if she’s not napping. She works well in teams and prefers it to solo work. She really loves animals and is a vegan — won’t hesitate to kill anyone who harms an animal in front of her. Her morals are a mystery to those around her, but she knows she’s not exactly a great person when it comes to how she manipulates the people around her. She’s aggressively nosy and likes to know everything she can about her friends and lovers. She has a way of getting people to spill their hearts out to her, only to turn back and use the info on them when she needs something. Somehow, she still has a lot of friends. Very intense in relationships. A true switch. If she’s in charge, she’s a cruel mistress who likes humiliating her partners. Sanguine has no mercy for those who dare to let her dom. A power bottom, for sure. Cream pie kink.

BNHA Verse Extra Name - ??? – Refuses to reveal her real name and goes by Sanguine, her villain name.

Specialty: Assassinations Quirk: Blood Manipulation Quirk info: Sanguine spent lots of time training her quirk to be used as a weapon. Her quirk is strongest during the full moon and is generally more effective at night. She can control the blood flow of others, essentially rendering them to puppets. During full moons, she can cut off their airway. Her quirk is best used against one person. She has anemia, though if the condition is related to her quirk is unknown. She’s best used for missions that need a quick and quiet takeout, as she gets tired easily. Because of this, she prefers to take weapons (knives, guns) with her for backup.

Ann-Marie Bell

Height: 6'1 (186 cm) Appearance: Tall with an athletic body. Rich, dark brown skin with cool undertones. Wears her hair natural - her hair texture is 4A. She has a nose piercing on the right side of her nose. Age: 155 (Appears to be in her early 30s.) Birthday: April 11th — Aries Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them Sexuality: Bisexual Personality: Very optimistic and easy-going. Despite being a Vampire that is over 100 years old, she still holds onto a zest for life. Ann-Marie is very interested in how people work and what makes people tick. She is fast to form friendships and has a knack for making people feel comfortable, even if they feel a strange aura in her presence. She has only change a few other people in her time as a Vampire - she’s never found anyone willing to stick around with her for that long. Unfortunately, she’s paranoid about her secret getting out, so anyone who knows and doesn’t plan on sticking around is taken care of. (With mercy, but still…) Despite her… interesting method of ending relationships, Ann-Marie doesn’t kill the people she feeds from. A sadistic top, through and through. Can and will use her strap to put her lovers in their place.

Elestren

Height: 5'6 (167 cm) Appearance: Average height. Fairly built and stocky. Natural blonde but dyes his hair lavender. (Very meticulous about his appearance.) No piercings or tattoos. Freckly shoulders and legs. Age: 31

Pronouns: He/Him Birthday — January 25th (Aquarius) Sexuality: Pansexual Personality: An evil pseudo-himbo, if you will. Elestren acts very air headed and kind as a front, using his good looks to make the act seem charming. Underneath the surface, Elestren is an extreme manipulator and has always used his looks to get whatever he wanted in life - he doesn’t care how his actions impact the people around him as long as his goals are achieved. Works in the business field but has no real love for it except for the money he makes. Elestren is an extrovert and cycles through groups of friends almost monthly. He doesn’t often find someone he finds worthy of his friendship, and doesn’t care enough to hold the things people tell him in confidence against them. It’s one of the few positives of him - he’ll never tell your secrets because he doesn’t find them interesting enough to talk about. Elestren is, however, a hopeless 'romantic’ when it comes to his darling. His dedication is troubling and he is likely to be manipulative, reverent, and obsessive. He doesn’t let his darlings go easily and will do anything to keep them on his side. A switch that prefers to top. Surprisingly, enjoys being on the receiving end of degradation and humiliation, but doesn’t get to experience it unless he’s with a long-term darling.

I have to join in too thanks @lovingsiriusoswald for the idea, and also @candyflossclouds and @stupidofofspades for making me wanna do it too no matter how much I tried to rebel

In true me fashion I can’t pick between Seth or Oliver and I already had an OC made which again I couldn’t pick who for. So I made another, one for each. And now I can’t tell which one I like more, cause they both seem so fun.

Cradlesona #1 - Clara Shepard

Basic Info:

Name: Clara Shepard

Birthday: 28th February

Age: 25

Height: 5 foot 3

Physical:

Eyes: Dark blue/slightly purple

Hair: Dark blue

Accessories: hoop earrings, leather collar

Social:

Affiliation: Black Army

Occupations: 3 of Spades - Security

Relationships:

Seth – Like a rabid fangirl, she admires him from afar, hasn’t had the courage to say anything yet. She managed to leave secret chocolates on valentine’s once, after all, nobody knows the headquarters as much as she does, she can sneak anything anywhere. Possibly not so subtly, she tries to talk to him whenever socially possible, but gets too nervous and becomes a blushy mess. Seth is somehow still oblivious.

Fenrir – She has lots of fun with Fenrir, sometimes locking him out on purpose to see how he’ll try to get in this time. She likes to join in target practice with him.

Sirius – They’ve known eachother since Sirius joined the army, although she was a lot younger then. She’s like an unofficial army sister. Clara knows she can rely on Sirius for most things.

Ray – Likes her because sometimes she sneaks cats in for him.

Luka – Speaks to him more officially than day to day, but she is soon around if Luka has been baking cakes.

Kyle – Love/Hate relationship cause she keeps sending him patients with minor injuries… who usually carry a bottle of alcohol for his troubles

Personality:

Clara is dedicated to the black army so takes her job very seriously, but she likes to have fun too. She’s grown up mostly at the headquarters so she can be both mentally and physically strong, but she also loves to wind down and have a laugh and a joke. She’s hardworking, reliable, has way too much fun beating people who try to beat her security. She’ll happily wrestle anyone to the ground if needs be (although she doesn’t dare arm wrestle Seth cause she’ll know she’ll lose)

Family and History:

Her father was the previous 3 of Spades and showed her the ropes from a young age in the hopes she would be able to take over after him. She lost her mother at a young age so found a new family within the black army.

Skills and Special Abilities:

Hand to hand combat, all sorts of defensive moves, gun practice, great at poker, and her favourite – dislocating arms

Paired with: Seth

Life in Cradle:

She spends most of her life doing something for the black army, patrols, security checks, tending to horses, training, and keeping her security team in check. Every once in a while she’ll escape to the roof to be alone, especially now her father has retired to a cottage in the clubs quarter. She gets lonely sometimes, but with the chaos that goes down at headquarters, she’s usually distracted to think too much on it.

Cradlesona #2 - Anise

Basic Info:

Name: Anise – not her real name, but one accidentally given to her by Oliver

Birthday: 13th August

Age: 27

Height: 5 foot 8

Blood Type: Magic

Physical:

Eyes: Red, thanks to the magic event which got her to Cradle they’ve permanently changed

Hair: Blue/Pink/Purple – blue fringe, pink side bits, purple back. She keeps it short generally so it’s not in the way, however when the moon is full, her magic is set off and her hair grows out of control. Pros, she can change her style every month. Cons, hairdresser costs.

Accessories: Changes day to day from little ribbons, to little things which interest her

Features: Freckles across her cheeks

Social:

Affiliation: Neutral

Occupations: Assistant, or as Oliver likes to say, a constant bother

Relationships:

Oliver – constant source of fun, they bicker a lot but it’s never in a hurtful way. Oliver was the one to find her in the first place and so she likes to help him as thanks. She also goes drinking with him (he has no choice sometimes) and Kyle, enjoying watching the fun. She drunkenly admitted she found him very handsome, but Oliver conveniently forgets.

Blanc – He watches over her and almost looks after her like his own child, he helped her adjust to Cradle along with Oliver. She likes to bring back carrot cake from the market each time she goes for him too.

Loki – She met him through Oliver’s dealings with him and sometimes enjoys playing with him.

Seth – She knows him after bumping him at the market a few times, along with the hairdressers. He loves messing with her hair, and lets him style it sometimes.

Fenrir – Met him through Oliver after helping to make his weapons, but is fearful of the guns. Sometimes she tries to goad him into eating competitions along with Seth.

Kyle – He initially treated Anise and realised she has magic, he’s kind enough to keep it secret though warns her not to use it again for her safety. He is wary of her thanks to the scissor incident. He also likes watching her get drunk and do stupid stuff.

Jonah – After watching her wrestle Kyle for a pair of scissors to cut her hair, Jonah thinks she’s crazy.

Edgar – While briefly at the red headquarters, Anise sniffed out Edgar’s jellybeans and he got her addicted to them. She now sneaks up on him if she sees him to steal his jellybeans.

Personality:

Anise is energetic and bubbly, partially as compensation and partially due to the fact she can now. Her freedom is making her not afraid of doing anything, so she goes with the flow. When not hyped up on sugar or looking at pretty things, she can focus well on what she is doing and calm down. She will deflect questions about her home country, especially now she is away from it.

History and life in Cradle

Anise was born in another country which was taken over by others of the Jabberwock family who fled. In her country they had managed to get in control of those with magic, one of them being Anise. During a Lunar Eclipse, Anise and others who were captured used their magic and with the extra magical power of the moon, used a teleportation spell. It is unknown if the others survived.

Oliver was watching the moon and stargazing at the time, when a flash and supposed meteor hit the ground – which was in fact Anise. Oliver found her, and took to her to Kyle who realised straightaway she was nearly dying thanks to all the magic usage. During a full moon, her hair grows out of control because of the magic, which also freaked Kyle out (this led to the scissor incident).

She ended up with Oliver after Kyle mentions he found her, and he feels partially responsible for her. Anise sometimes tells white lies and pretends she has forgotten her name and where she is from so that she can forge a new identity and move on from the horrors she endured. Anise got her new name from Oliver, after he made a scathing comment about his tea, likening her to anise, except she took it as a compliment and adopted it as her name.

Anise finds Oliver’s inventions fascinating and can’t help but want to help. Despite him thinking she is a pain, he does let her help and enjoys her company.

Skills and Special Abilities:

She has magic, though has been advised not to use it so her own safety (though rarely does)

Guys holy shit i’ve been working on this referral for an hour or so and i have sO MANY MORE IDEAS than when i did this project initially what the fuck!!!!

i’m legit and honest to god so excited to draw more for this idea for once and i’m loving where it’s looking to be heading

(gonna shove this under a cut i didn’t expect to suddenly explain eVERYTHING about this project in this post holy shit i’m just so excited and this got so long sO quickly omg)

essentially this project was set by me to challenge myself in designing creatures and bosses for a game and the first time around i didn’t do so well (obviously, i mean i failed the module d u h hence the referral) but i also couldn’t get into it thoroughly either. I based the three boss designs on yarn, crystal and metal but fell supremely short on the metal design (it fucking sucked yo) so these are the crystal and yarn designs i did (and i’m still pretty proud of ngl, and no you aren’t going to see the metal one it’s literally. the single worst thing i’ve drawn known to man in terms of quality and i’ve fucking drawn asher with his nips out aight)

Now ofc they need their own attentions and not all of the aspects of them are all that great etc. BUT. since i’m redesigning/doing more design work for this project in general i’ve taken literally one look around my room for inspiration for the yarn-based creatures i’m working on and lo and behold my room is full to the fucking brim with yarn. so that’s not hard to find inspiration right??

smash cut to me fucking taking one look at the biggest jellyfish i’ve made to date (with the usual jellyfish for fucking reference on how BIG this fucker is)

so immediately i think “well jellyfish could make for an interesting enemy. CROCHET JELLYFISH THAT IS” and already i’ve got sketches for a hostile jellyfish that’s literally based on that giant bastard up there AND sketches for a passive jellyfish based off the three-tentacle jellyfish in the commissions post.

general idea for the hostile jellyfish is that it has the thicker curly cues like above and strands of yarn for thinner stingers etc but it can actually grab the player with the thicker tentacles and electrocute them etc (because we all know yarn can hold a fucking static charge and a half like the bitch it oft wants to be)

general idea for the passive jellyfish is that it literally is just that - passive. the three tentacles (as opposed to six) denote that it’s a passive creature, and it’s just subtle enough a difference between them that the player wouldn’t necessarily notice at first and think it’ll attack them. all it does is serve as like a bouncy platform or a drifting platform for the player to be able to get around on

sO. branching off like haywire from this i looked at the shawls i’ve got lying around and immediately was like ‘LETS CONTINUE THE DEEP SEA THEME WITH FUCKING SHAWL-RAYS’ because i am a fucking. GENIUS. so shawl flap-flaps that wrap themselves around the player to crush them to death fucking SURE and with added thread needles on the end as a stinger and such

t h e n. i was thinking about what the fuck the player character would look like and y’know what? @cappurrccino i must thank u for sharing that picrew mouse maker because otherwise i wouldn’t have thought of this because wHAT IF the player character is a fucking mouse.

This is the first one I made just as a bit of fun but then I remembered it as i was drawing just now, went to have a look at it again and thought ‘YEAH THIS’LL WORK FOR A PROTAG FUCK YEAH ITS CUTE AND ITS NOT HUMAN’ so i went back to the picrew maker and made ANOTHER

now THIS badass little shit looks more like the adventuring type!! since the whole premise of this project was at first to design a game based on numbers which lead to a game based on collecting things. This little guy looks like he’s gonna be collecting ALL the things and the hook and rope make it even better because then he has a means of getting around and swinging from platform to platform or hooking enemies and jumping on them to damage them etc or even getting other weapons to use - without just defaulting to ‘GIVE MOUSE NEEDLE-SWORD’, even though i am. hella fucking tempted to now. if hollow knight bapy gets a nail sword, mouse bapy gets needle sword.

I would use the first one, but i don’t want to make redrawing the little guy over and over a pain in the ass to do by having so many details on there to keep consistent. i learned that the hard way with soile’s design from my comic - by the end of that monster of a project, i fucking hated drawing her because her design was so convoluted. absolutely great for one-off pieces and stances, fucking awful for continuous redrawing in different comic panels. so yeah, not fucking doing that again.

plus this feeds into the themes for each enemy type - yarn, crystal and metal. each thing is something you could easily expect to find in some kind of house or something, and are naturally bigger than a mouse in 99% of cases, so it makes sense for a little mouse to be traversing whatever places and facing off against these things. ofc it won’t actually be set in a house, it’s in some kind of world idk the full nature of yet but still.

i still think i may overhaul the boss designs entirely and resubmit a way better version of this project because the first time around i was dealing with a lot of personal stuff at the time and lost focus on it altogether. i literally didn’t fill up half the sketchbook i got for it, that is a pretty good indicator of how badly i flubbed this. BUT. i really, really like where this is going so far!! and all in an hour or so since i sat down to start working on it!!

i apologise for just how rambly this got but holy shit i NEEDED to put this all down somewhere before i forgot anything and i needed to give my thanks to cappurrccino for unknowingly inspiring me for the main player character :D
