As you sit curled on your sofa, blanket over your lap and a good book in hand, a chill curls down your spine. It's late at night. Most of the lights on your street are out. Funny, you could have sworn that those streetlights were on a couple of minutes ago. You shake your head, dispelling all negative thoughts, and return your attention to your book. The clock's ticking starts to hammer itself into your inexplicably racing heartbeat. The chill curls down your back again, this time stronger. And... was that a knock at your front door? Ever so soft, but unmistakably a knock. More nervous now, you slowly put the book down on the coffee table in front of you, forgetting to place the bookmark in its abandoned pages. The blanket slides off you as slowly stand, and pad silently to the door. You take a deep breath, and decide to go for it. Anything could be out there. You open the door. No-one is there. You look all around, but no sign of life stirs anywhere. A chill floats down your arms, and you hug them to your sides. But... wait... what's that on the floor there? You bend down curiously, still keeping your eyes trained on the dark, lifeless street. It's a box of chocolates, and - a bunch of roses? As you look closer, you see that the words 'Happy Birthday' are engraved into the chocolate box lid with... what appears to be a sharp, sharp knife. The edges of each letter are suspiciously red, but the chocolates look delicious. You then inspect the red roses, or, now that you see them closer, the white roses painted red. They smell metallic and cloying, with only an underscent of natural rose. Nevertheless, they are beautiful. As you turn your back on the unlit street, you feel... something... watching you and whip your head around. Of course, nothing is there. You let out a deep, shaky breath and step inside, gifts in hand. You lock the door behind you, just to be safe. And on your coffee table, next to your half-drunk cold coffee and your discarded book, is a beautifully penned note that reads, 'Congratulations on 10k! Love from your friendly neighbourhood cryptid <3'

Its so weird coming out of an adult woman's mouth, not alexandra’s fault its the writers fault (probably why it was deleted), but her line delivery makes it sound like she’s reminding percy of an office meeting later on in the day
logan’s wtf face was funny tho ill give it that

just percy singing a ballad about this pretty angel who he feels a very good weird way about while annabeth is there like 🤨 you drool when you sleep lol
and the fact that annabeth had a reprise of that saying that percy was cute in a good weird way and i-🥺 (ik its the deluxe version that wasnt in the main musical, but its official, so its musical canon shush)

OK BUT ANNABETH BEING A SLEEP PARALYSIS DEMON IS SO FUNNY
*hovering over percy as he slips in and out of consciousness in a dark room* you drool when you sleep😒
But tbh if i was a show only watcher i would be like “what is the point of this?”
But it really supports that aspect of annabeth’s character in the show that does not know any social skills so its kind of even more cuter???i guess??

(listed in alphabetical order, also disclaimer, there are sooo many enha writers i wish i could include and still wanna get to know better. this is just who i can think of on the top of my head atm):
@atrirose - seiu is such a legend and everybody loves her works. owns some of the most iconic enha work to exist on this sight 😌🤭
@boyfhee - cae is suchhh a talented writer omg so if you want well written work and good plot or just fun works to read, this is one of the ways i recommend going 😌 she’s also a super fun and funny person so 12/10 recommend 👍🏻
@delcakoo - i literally strive to be ema omg her works are so fun and creative and so well put tgt. i’ve enjoyed reading every single one 😭 missing new works from her (she’s on hiatus rn if you didn’t already know) but i hope she’s happy rn and is doing well <3
@heeracha - (rey imy 🫶🏻) there’s a reason why heeracha is so popular (even tho she’s ghosting 90% of the time 🙄 /j) it’s cuz rey’s works are so genius and so entertaining and creative and cute yet heart wrenching and the slowburn in a lot of her works just has you hooked in a way that is not easy for writers to do but she does so effortlessly 😔
@isoobie - if you want a go to for cute works i def recommend ri <3 also her aesthetic is always on point so 😌 she’s also super friendly and nice. def someone i recommend <3

@sungbeam - beam currently isn’t writing for enha (← beam, correct me if i’m wrong djdjdj) but she has a bunch of enha works for you to check out. and i highly encourage you to bc her writing style is honestly one of my favourites i’ve ever found. she’s sooo talented and so hard working 🫶🏻
