You all know the whole world is talking about the super bowl because she's there. We told you. For years non-us people told you we didn't know shit about your big game thing, that we vaguely heard about it, that all we truly know is that there's an artist doing a performance mid-game and that's the only thing our news talk about.
Not this year. This year they talked about it all around the world. Because Taylor was there. Taylor brought the eyes of the world on the super bowl. Taylor brought the eyes of the world away from Rafah. She is being used as a propaganda tool again but because it's not by your Republicans that can affect your cosy western lifestyle, you don't care. That is her legacy. Silence. And why wouldn't she relieve in it when her fans are capable of inventing new things about her along the line of : "she lost her voice all these years because of her ex boyfriend who is vocal about politics, and now she's getting it back and she can speak to us!!" ??
Grow up, grow a spine, grow a fucking soul.

The Mountainous Spine of Corsica
“A Mountain in the Sea” is the widely used slogan for Corsica, the large Mediterranean Island off of France and Italy. A more geologically accurate version might read: “Two Mountain Ranges in the Sea.” A line that runs roughly from L‘Île Rousse on the north coast, through Corte in the interior, to Favone on the southeast coast, divides Corsica into two distinct geologic terranes.
Most of the rock to the west of the line is granite, a type of igneous rock. The mountains and hills on the west side of the line are roots of an ancient range that rose between 345 and 225 million years ago during the Hercynian orogeny (mountain-building period).
Everything to the east of the line is “Alpine Corsica.” The rocks on this part of the island were crumpled into mountains hundreds of millions of years later, when the African and Eurasian plates collided to form the Alps. The layered rocks on this side of the island are mainly schist, limestone, and other sedimentary rocks that formed on the seafloor.
These two periods of mountain-building, plus millions of years of rainfall and erosion carving the highlands, sculpted the rugged terrain that defines Corsica today. The tallest peak, Monte Cinto, rises 2,706 meters (8,878 feet) above sea level. Corsica is home to 19 other mountains higher than 2,000 meters, mainly on the western side of the island.
On May 17, 2017, the Operational Land Imager (OLI) on Landsat 8 captured this image of Corsica. In addition to all of the mountains, a few plains, lagoons, estuaries, and deltas ring the coast, particularly the eastern coast.
Some historians cite the island’s rugged terrain as a reason that Corsica has retained such a distinct and fiercely independent identity, despite being occupied and controlled by several foreign powers. The Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Moors, and Genoese have controlled the island at times, but Corsica has retained its own language and traditions nonetheless. Occupying powers generally concentrated most of their energy on the coastal plains and struggled to exert much influence in the towns in the island’s interior because of how difficult these places are to reach. In the modern era, Corsica is a territory of France.

"It gets better the more you grow. But what if I don't ?"
The double meaning I can hear here fucks me up everytime. What if it doesn't get better ? What if I don't get better ? What if I don't grow ? What if I remain symbolically stuck to this age forever ? What if I never grow ? What if I never grow ?

Also I think it's unnecessary to say that swifties and all their fancy theories surrounding the album release (the date being linked to the US independence from the British, the 5 stages of grief, the album title being inspired by joe's group chat...) were all pure delulu and truly show how much presenting herself as a mastermind serves taylor who now only has to wait for coincidences to happen and for her fans to have enough lack of a life to build the narrative for her.

We do not talk enough about the genius of the tgw deluxe tracks. Not just as songs but as a part of the good witch's story and their placement in it.
Holy Revival right after history of man ? Brilliant. Perfect. Pure art. The holy revival after the deep and painful acceptance of human/women's life and history ? The particular after the universal ? The end of the year coming with the announcing of a rebirth ? Stellar.
Yoko reminiscing on all the signs she gave but also forgot to give ? Seeing her own fault but refusing to erase his ? The perfect mature version after Two Weeks Ago that is literally given to us after a maturation time!!
THE SONG IS PERFECT AS A BONUS TRACK !!! The album was over. The songs were over! But still she's fighting for the hope of it all maybe turning around (add to that the outro that refuses to end) as she doesn't want to get over the fantasy no matter everything she said in the regular version.
Guy On A Horse is a new myth, an historical one, it's You're just a boy () but without the shadow of a doubt that, yes, she did fight bigger battles, and he won't ever understand it, too focused on himself.
Truth Is is the acknowledgement of it all!!!! After so many myths and stories, we get the Truth!!! He was the blow, he was the fear prover, the trust shatterer, and all she did was love!!! Yes she had her fair share of wrongs, but they were out of love!!!! Truth is his weren't.
And The Last One... We end the regular version of the album with a painful hole in our hearts, we end the deluxe version with flares blasting into the sky. We end it with trust and support!!! Because no matter if it's about a friend or a lover, what matters is that the Witch still hopes, loves and supports those she loves!!! Love betrayed her but she will never betray him!! She will never close herself to those deserving of support!!!
This album is such a well crafted piece of art and the deluxe does exactly what an addition to a piece must do : expand without taking meaning away from the original. Those bonus tracks are a bonus because they give us a preview of the aftermath and deeper thoughts on songs on the regular version, and that way they tell the same story but with a "more/grander/wider" effect that only adds in the best way possible

The way they framed Percy's reaction to the oracle is so well done! We don't get that in the book. As far as it goes, Percy doesn't obsess over the "Betrayed by a friend" part and barely mentions it. Here, he builds all his choices around this. He doesn't pick Annaneth because she wants a quest, he chooses her because she's annoying and he doesn't think they'll ever be friends. He picks Grover cause he trusts him more than anyone and because he promised his mother he would protect him. He doesn't choose Luke cause he knows he's more loyal to Annabeth than to him. He insists on the fact that Grover is his protector, and that he will not betray him. This Percy is smart, and especially when his mother's well-being is at play.

Have to say though, I don't like what they did with Gabe. I don't know if it's Disney softening it or if maybe they chose to change the ending, but so far it didn't display anything making him deserve the fate written for him in the book. Say what you want about the movies but Gabe was despicable and even more obviously than in the book. Sorry to say that but in the show him and Sally argue once and it sounds more like an old married couple bickering than an abusive relationship. This Gabe doesn't feel "smelly" in all senses of the word. He's just a lazy dude. And if Sally ends up doing to him what she does in the book, he better be shown as a way bigger prick than that in the following episodes. I'm waiting for the TV reports. But otherwise it'll just feel cruel and horrible from Sally and Percy. I'm not saying he doesn't display patterns of abuse. He does. But with the ending coming it is definitely not clear enough to make his fate something to rejoice about.
