20:27 10/01/2021 so. yes hello . i have corona looool. its not funny but it kinda is. a lot has changed since the last time i wrote and yet nothing at all has happened. its 2021 lol. its just 2020 pt 2 tho. crazy shit. i feel fine tho i dont feel ill at all. im currently looking at some art that i like and trying to find more since i wanna make a collage on my wall or something. ive always wanted a room that just feels like ME ya know. i always felt like my room didnt really show who i was because i tend to live in my head. like all of me is in my noggin instead of showing who i am through the way i dress/how my room looks/personalised things like my phone and stuff . like its never really shown what im like probably because i dont really know who i am. that feels weird to say because of course i know who i am. its a me. mario. no. lol. i really want to get into tailoring my life to ME rather than just existing ya know. like i feel as though theres no point doing anything like expressing myself because ill just end up being not bothered to finish something or ill end up not liking it so ive wasted my time. but u know what. fuck it. i wanna do thinks like that and maybe one day ill look back at when i started doing this and thank myself. thats got to be worth more than the feeling of disappointment of wasting ur time for something u dont like. coz if its not better then thats not fair. i was contemplating whether or not to actually continue this because its cringe and i dont want anyone to ever find this because i hate people knowing more about me than i let them. you only ever get to know the me i want you to. lol. i exist on my conditions. i should really put this somewhere else than on a notepad on my laptop. maybe i should create a tumblr account and upload these coz i think i could access it more privately than this. the more i think about it the better of an idea this is. i still like writing on this notepad because its familiar and allows for more expression i think . because i can make as many spelling mistakes as i want and no one can correct me. haagaHHghvsqhdbjsnbsd. anyways what was i talking about. ah yes self expression. i think ive been struggling with this because i dont like boxing myself in. and i especially hate when other people box me in . :((((((( makes me mad >:[ hehehheh anyway i have the first day of online school tomorrow ... which... yeah sucks. but i dont even know if half my teachers are actually doing it lol. i hope prelims get cancelled because i mean the exams are so why shouldnt prelims be. the thing is that i struggle with motivation so much. and its not even like "i dont want to start this massive project because it will take a lot of time and energy" its more "i cant pick up that book that is within arms reach even though i quite like the idea of reading right now and wouldnt mind getting a bit of progress done i just physically cant put my phone down and pick that up because my brain doesnt want to even though.. it does????" man am i bad at explaining. anyway i was saying that because even though i knowwww i shouldve been studying the past two weeks the only thing ive done is like.. look at some spanish and thought about things i can do in my own time to help that. but the thing is i enjoy spanish for the most part so like,,, with me enjoying the subject, wanting to learn it, and going to fking uni for it, all ive done is 20 minutes of spur of the moment writing lmao. so chemistry and maths are fked. coz i dislike chem especially. fuck that shit lol. i feel very trapped in my own head but i feel like im doing that becauese ive learned to do that for so long. its weird existing to other people especially when u didnt feel like u existed to yourself for a long time. like as though ehdjsb jhbwalkjkjbf i dont know what im saying. oh yeah the minecraft end poem almost made me cry again. im gonna read it again because i just reminded myself and im gonna come back and tell u my fave. why am i speaking to you as though u are real. like ur a person. maybe ill keep doing that. what do u think. anyway brb wait im gonna play minecarft music while i read it and maybe i can cry. "and the universe said i love you - and the universe said you have played the game well - and the universe said everything you need is within you - and the universe said you are stronger than you know - and the universe said you are the daylight - and the universe said you are the night - and the universe said the darkness you fight is within you - and the universe said the light you seek is within you - and the universe said you are not alone - and the universe said you are not sepsrate from every other thing - and the universe said you are the universe tasting itself, talking to itself, reading its own code - and the universe said i love you because you are love" *sobs* " and the player was the universe. and the player was love. you are the player. wake up." how was i supposed to be okay after reading that huh. honestly tho i live minecraft like its such a beautiful game i cant believe i used to be ashamed to admit i played it :/ . in the middle of that i created a tumblr account coz i got sidetracked but its good to know that tumblr doesnt have a character limit that im aware of. anyway i know thats a lot of quotes its like almost half of the entire poem but like. its beautiful tho. its really grounding and like validating? to hear some of that idk. the universe is actually fking mental tho lol and i love learning about it i think thats one of the reasons i did so well in physics is that is taking something so entirely complex and crazy into math and reason and logic so i can at least understand a little about the universe. i can know it back. maybe i am the universe. and really were just understanding ourselves. getting to know who we are and where we all came from. i think thats lovely since some people (inc me) dont really know who they are or what theyre supposed to be so its comforting to know that at the very least we are all made from atoms and we were all forged from the same galaxy and that we are a part of the universe, part of something important just by existing. that we dont have to be special or unique by anyone's standards because we are formed in the same way stars are, were all just a collection of atoms, arranged to make up something incredible, and the fact that we can understand that shows how remarkable we are just by existing. like thats it. we are amazing just because we exist at the same time as the universe, that we are the universe. and so yes physics is "just maths" but maths is a tool to explain how phenomenal our exitance actually is. yeah. wow. ok imma go watch youtube or something now. bye bye. also notice how there was like an almost 3 month gap in between writing these. yeah.

Hi will u do a kinda followup fic for that magnus with child!reader but focused on raphael x reader? Where reader has grown up but still mute. When magnus brought home raphael the fledging vampire, he become curious in u. It took years before they become close friend n even longer time before raphael admitted that he see the reader as more than friend.

Part 2 to similar but saved but you could probably read it without reading the first part. All you’d need to know is the readers mute and Magnus’s child.

(Y/N) had continued to live with Magnus but had never called him papa. This was because they couldn’t. (Y/N) had remained mute since Magnus found the warlock. He didn’t know if they chose this life or if they just couldn’t speak. It didn’t matter, it didn’t change them. So to communicate they learned sign language. If (Y/N) was around people who didn’t sign they would write it down on bits of paper. Let's just say they went through a lot of paper. (Y/N)'s birthday was unknown to the two due to their abusive father never telling the child and their mother had died before (Y/N) knew them so they celebrated the date Magnus found and took in the warlock, (Y/D/O/B). So now (Y/N) was 50 but only looked 17. Funnily enough the same age as their papa.

Magnus had signed to (Y/N) that morning that he had to go on urgent business. (Y/N) signed back ‘ok’, not thinking much of it and continued to eat their breakfast they’d summoned from Italy. What (Y/N) didn’t expect was for her papa to come home with a 14-year-old fledgeling. Let alone a cute 14-year-old fledgeling. (Y/N) was sitting on the couch drawing when their papa came through the front door with a clearly distraught latino vampire. “Raphael, I can assure you that it will get better. But killing yourself won't help.” Their papa comforted the boy. “I'm already dead. A monster.” He said coldly. Magnus sighed. When he saw (Y/N) sitting crossed legged on the couch with their drawing he introduced the two. “Raphael this is my child (Y/N). (Y/N), Raphael. He’s a fledgeling so be nice. Have you had dinner?” (Y/N) shook their head no. “Ok, I’ll be back in a few minutes.” Magnus went off to make dinner while Raphael stood uncomfortably. (Y/N) gestured with their hand for the Latino to take a seat which he did. ‘Do you sign?’ (Y/N) signed. “What?” Raphael looked confused. (Y/N) could tell that English wasn’t his first language due to his accent and pronunciation. ‘Do you know how to sign?’ they tried again and his expression didn’t change. (Y/N) sighed and began to write in their notebook that they always kept next to them. They handed it to the boy. He took it and read it aloud. “I'm mute and I'm guessing you don’t sign.” It took him a moment to read out the full text. “No, I don’t even know what that is.” He flung the notebook to (Y/N) which they caught with ease. They wrote again and handed it back. “Should I write in English or another language?” He sighed and sat it down. “Well unless you know Spanish. I'm fine with English so theirs no need to insult me.” (Y/N) got up and picked up the notebook. Still standing they began to write. ‘I’m not insulting you. Y para tu información sé español. Soy mudo, no un idiota’ {Translation: And for your information, I do know Spanish. I'm mute, not an idiot}. Before the boy could respond (Y/N) walked away to the kitchen. They grabbbed the plate from Magnus and went to their room. When Magnus walked into the living room he saw Raphael with his head in his hands. “What did you do?” Magnus sighed. Raphael handed him the notebook. “I think I insulted them. I didn’t mean too, it's just…” he trailed off. Magnus snapped the notebook shut. “I'm sure (Y/N)’s fine. Just next time don’t assume mute people don’t know languages.” Raphael nodded. Since Raphael was going to be staying with Magnus (only for a little bit) he thought he should at least apologise. He quickly asked Magnus something before heading in the direction Magnus pointed him in. He knocked on their door before opening it. (Y/N) raised an eyebrow at the boy holding their notebook. “You left this behind.” He sat it on the end of the bed. Then he started to sign something. Though very badly. After he finished (Y/N) started laughing. “There's no need to laugh at me! I'm trying to apologise!” ‘I'm sorry.’ (Y/N) signed but Raphael thought he was getting made fun of and stormed away. (Y/N) sighed and picked up their notebook. Raphael ended up staying with the warlocks for a couple of months. Each day (Y/N) tried to talk to him through their notebook but it always ended in one of them getting annoyed at the other. If (Y/N) could scream at him they would. One day while Raphael was resting (Y/N) was talking to Magnus about him. ‘He’s just so annoying’ they signed. “He’s a teenaged boy, what do you expect?” Although Magnus knew sign he still prefered to speak which (Y/N) didn’t mind. “Besides that’s normally what happens. You hate each other then you fall in love the-“ Magnus was cut off by (Y/N)’s hand covering his mouth. He raised his hands in surrender. ‘We aren't even friends,’ they signed. ‘theirs no way we’ll fall in love. It's impossible’. Magnus raised an eyebrow. “So is that why I keep catching you staring at each other?” (Y/N) put their head in their hands and groaned. “Ah, young love.” ‘I'm not young.’ (Y/N) signed. “Good point. He’s way too young for you. Not even legal.” (Y/N) slapped their papa’s shoulder and signed ‘Im going out’. “Bye darling.”

Later that month Raphael was able to go home though he still visited Magnus. He never admitted that it was partly because of (Y/N). The pair did become friends but that was after many years and frustrating conversations. One night Raphael had brought it up by accident around his mamá who slapped him and told him ‘you clearly like them and tough love doesn’t work on romance.’ Then went back to cooking. Raphael was developing a crush on you but never admitted it. He said he was just curious about sign language when he started to learn it. Soon (Y/N) and he could have conversations without needing a pen and paper. Now with the threat of Valintine looming over the downworld he’s finally facing his feelings.

“Magnus, how are you?” Raphael greeted, stepping into the warlocks home. “Well. To what do I own the pleasure of your company? Seeing as you hardly visit now.” Magnus took a seat on the sofa while Raphael continued to stand. “I've been busy. I was actually looking for (Y/N). Are they home?” “Well, you aren't the only one looking.” Magnus stood up. “They went out a few hours ago. They were meant to be back by now. I was actually about to text them but they’ve left their phone home.” “Where were they going?” Raphael was concerned. He’d heard rumours Camille was back and (Y/N) could be leverage to her. And not just with Magnus. “I'm not sure. Why are you so worried?” Magnus concern was clear. Raphael was hardly ever worried so this wasn’t normal. “I've heard rumours. Apparently, Camille’s come back. I was going to warn you two to be careful.” “Do you think she’d go after (Y/N)?” “She would have the upper hand if she did. She knows you’d do anything for them.” “And you? Would you do anything?” Magnus raised an eyebrow at the boy. “You’ve known for a long time I would.” Raphael couldn’t meet his eyes. “I just am horrible when it comes to love.” “Let's go.” Turns out Magnus and Raphael needed of been worried because once they got downstairs they saw (Y/N) walk in. “Where were you?” Raphael asked instantly. ‘there was traffic’ (Y/N) signed. ‘why? Did I miss something?’ “Raphael thinks Camille’s back,” Magnus said. “We were worried she’d got you.” ‘No need to worry Papa, I can look after myself’ “Maybe so but I-We cant risk you getting hurt,” Raphael said angrily. Magnus looked between the two immortals who still looked like young teens. “I’ll give you two a minute.” ‘You care?’ “Of course I care.” (Y/N) went to sign again but Raphael continued. “I care because you’re not just a friend. You're more than that to me. I'm horrible at this sort of stuff. I never thought a monster could find love but somehow…somehow I love you.” ‘Do you remember the first time you tried to sign? You tried to apologise but when I corrected you, you got mad.’ Raphael nodded. ‘that was the moment I started to love you. You tried to speak my language and that’s the reason I kept trying to talk to you even though you were a grumpy idiot.’ Raphael laughed at the end bit. “Truthfully I was a ‘grumpy idiot’ because I was a stupid teenage boy who didn’t understand love.” ‘Do you understand it now?’ “I think so.” Raphael looked down at his hands and started signing. For all, he knew what (Y/N) said when they did it he wasn’t the best. ‘I love you’. ‘Well done. I love you too.’ Raphael had the boyish grin of a 15-year-old who just got his first date. ‘You sure I'm not a bit old for you?’ (Y/N) joked. Raphael just rolled his eyes. “Ahh young love!” Magnus sighed causing the two to turn to him. “We aren't young Magnus.” ‘In his eyes, the dinosaurs are young’ (Y/N) signed. “Hey! I'm not that old!” Magnus exclaimed while the younger two laughed. “And you’re lucky I approve of Raphael.” “I won't hurt them, I promise.” Raphael wrapped an arm around (Y/N)’s waist. “I trust you.”

there’s no person in particular that really sticks out but I will say I’ve always admired jungkook, and really all trainees for that matter, who leave their families to start training really young because its a process thats hard physically, emotionally and mentally for late teen/early twenties trainees but there’s sO many kids who enter in their pre-teens and idk how they survive also I realized this doesn’t answer your question at all I'm sorry its 1:28 AM I’m just waiting for the DNA mv to drop

I’d absolutely love to be in the entertainment industry and I think the staging, costuming, group dynamics and publicity (variety shows, fan service/interations) in the kpop industry are all really cool but I honestly don't think I have the mental strength to do it lmao idols go through so much and I don’t think I could handle it regardless of how much I enjoy singing/dancing/performing etc.

english and some spanish??? I understand a lot because quite a bit of my family speaks it but my conversational skills have gone downhill recently because I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to practice :( with that said, I’d like to be fluent in spanish and - BEFORE YOU COME FOR ME READ IT ALL OK - I’d like to learn korean BECAUSE!!!!! when I was little before I moved I would go to a farmers market by my house and a lot of the older ladies there spoke korean and little holly though it sounded so pretty and I always wanted to chat w them ok THATS WHY I’m not a creepy koreaboo this has been a thing since before I even knew what a kpop was ok bye

alright so my baby was born and raised in torquay, england to a pretty religious, polish family. her father is polish and her mother is english, but their lifestyle and culture at home was very much polish based

also her actual birth name is katarzyna eloisa gomolka, but growing up in england, many people had a hard time pronouncing her first name so her friends & classmates and all that often called her by her middle name instead -- eloisa. so it eventually stuck and she legally changed around her first & middle names. .. .

this girl loves loves loves learning languages and studying other cultures and lifestyles , like in school , she was always that girl that took as many foreign language classes as she could. she knows the basics to a bunch of different languages but she’s fluent in english, polish, french, and spanish.

anyway she also used to play the violin and horseback ride a lot growing up. her grandpa from her moms side taught her how to ride horses and she loved going to his farm in the english countryside to ride & hear his wise stories and all that. he was like her hero.

however, one day, right before eloisa was about to start her last year of high school . . . long story short . . . there was an accident and grandpa passed away *cries* . . . el took his death super hard since they were so close . . which caused her to get less enthusiastic about going to college and she just lost all interest at caring at all tbh, becoming more of a troublemaker at school, so her grades dropped her last year and so did all her aspirations for her future

after high school, instead of enrolling in postsecondary, she just wanted to get away from it all so she decided to trust in her adventurous side and partake in a work abroad program where she would be backpacking across south america, teaching english and helping build up communities. she did that until she was twenty-one. it was a Wild ride

in the midst of the program, while in colombia, she got involved w/ some sketchy dude who was in the drugs and car stealing business . . . she loved the thrill & she thought she was so in love BUt he was super gross and toxic and ended up betraying her, stealing her money, and leaving her on the side of the road one night on one of his heists. aNYWAY it sucked

she finished the program and then decided to work for the work abroad program’s headquarters, which are situated in california. . . so thats how she got to san diego

eventually her position there terminated but she decided to stay in cali bc its very much her type of vibe SO now shes working at fashion valley & thats where yall come in

SOME WANTED CONNECTIONS

Hi!! I'm Ava and I've posted a few times but I'm only really still in touch with one person, and I would love to meet more people and just make new friends!! I'm 16 and from england but I don't mind if time zones are different!

I'll just talk about some things I love so you can better understand me I guess? I really like art and drawing. I havent had much time to paint but im going to try to learn to oil paint this summer but as of now I just like doing drawings and my fav is drawing colourful birds!! Or flowers, or sometimes I try to paint along to bob ross who really inspires me because he's so positive! I also love learning and school, im halfway through my GCSEs (exams in england everyone takes when they're 15/16) and im looking forward to studying maths and the sciences next year! I love maths and physics and biology and to a lesser extent chemistry but yeah im a nerd I think physics is honestly so so interesting. I also adore languages and im so sad I cant continue with them next year!! But if anyone speaks french or spanish I would love to try to talk in those languages so I can keep practicing! Im also trying to teach myself russian because I think it’s a beautiful language. I also want to read russian literature in its original language!! That brings me to books, vladimir nabokov in my opinion is an absolute genius his way of writing brings me to tears tbh lolita is stunning, ive read lots of his short stories and other books and im reading pale fire right now and ive never read anything like it. I also like other classics, im finishing dracula rn, and I guess I like YA, the miseducation of cameron post is a really interesting book that I'd recommend, the prose and descriptions is also very lovely! i also love cutesy feelgood books like simon vs the homo sapiens agenda is so so cute

I also love films, ive been trying to watch some more classics bc ive seen shrek too many times…… but yeah my favourite film this year is probably sing street, its just such a beautiful film and I love it.

In terms of music, im not kidding when I say I love everything !! I'm listening to The Cure rn which is a great band, I love other sorta classic bands like the Beatles obv, I like 80s music a lot because my mum is super nostalgic and plays 80s music constantly, indie stuff like Elliott Smith, I used to be an emo and love pierce the veil (lol still listen to them sometimes) I still love paramore (their new album is so good) and brand new is one of my favourite bands!! im also super nostalgic for the early 2000s and therefore listen to rihanna's old music too much lol

Wow I have written a lot and I bet there's more...oh yeah I have a pomeranian and he is my baby I love him! So if we become friends you will receive daily snapchats of him.

drama room, ceramics room, 204 the science room for grade 9 and 10 science with zainub, luxsha, lmao wasn’t foti my lab partner?, the spanish room where i failed our grade 10 science exam loooool, peppers room where i discovered i wasn’t so hot at math for the first time, porters room where i musta met salman for the first time (or was it in drama room?) cause we had barnes for our first class ever i recall, but i bonded with ziggs there in gr11 over netflix-marvel tv shows and even those are gone now wtf why does growing up exist?

we did gr11 dec-a-door there and absolutely KILLED it, tammy, christina and i went ham. and dude me and zaibaa in assemblies cracking JOKES in the aud also hanging out with debra behind the aud doors at lunch, eating food from pizza panzo. omg delorme’s room in both grade 9 with debra, zaibaa, michael, luxsha, zainab. then again in grade 11 with edmond and richard :(

AH and the books and beyond room fuck i remember salman giving me the pattie boyd biography there and sitting there on wednesday mornings with islam and raqs. omg and discussing the release of 1989 in that room :(

lmaooo and freaking out outside of ram’s office in june of gr12 cause we thought we were gonna lose our acceptances (me and perry looool)

and the comp eng classroom where i discovered engineering :’(

the science office where i finessed archer out of marks for 3 years straight :’(

bruh THE LIBRARY where zaibaa and i spent hours after school cause we volunteered there. and getting there early in gr9 to print assignments on those bruck up computers.

AH GERECHTS OLD ROOM where i then learned that i was still a math hoe and i shouldn’t give up on myself. and then the history room where i did my international business exam. and the other social sciences room next to it that i never had a class in but wrote my grade 12 calculus exam in. :(

legitness this sucks im so sad oh dip and ofc 007 where i met zaibaa and vivian for the first time :( and mr gray used to let us hang out in the court yard after AP exams ended in gr12. dude im just like help i don’t want to forget any of this. or any of my lockers. these places and rooms made me who i am and now they’re just gone :(

General

So, summer is almost over, and quite a few things has happened during the 2 months time it has been since I write the last time. Ot - that means, not any MAJOR things, but still some progress in different directions. I am currently sitting at a Quatar Airways flight brom Dar Es Salam to Berlin, via Doha (where I have a 7 hour night layover….) after 3 weeks of summer holiday.

I started of in Tel Aviv for 10 days with Vegar, Sigbjørn, Benni, Vik, Kristoffer and Julia. We shared a big nice apartment close to the Old Town. I had my own room, we had 3 balconies, a huge rooftop, a large nice kitchen and several bathrooms. Perfect base even though we were based a bit far from the center of the town. I personally liked the old town more though so fine by me. Tel Aviv is a fantastic city. It has some of the best food Ive ever tasted, a beautiful san beach that follows though the whole city, a vibrant night life, humble, proud and open people and a rich history. I was unsure about how I would feel about visiting Israel beforehand because of Palestina, but I am glad I came. The people I met had all sorts of different backgrounds. They are not the politicians, and seemed just as frustrated about the situation as everyone else. Having that said, I guess its only so much you can take in during 10 short days. We also had a trip to Jerusalem. We did not do enough research, so my impression of the city was quite messy and exhausting. I am glad we went either way, though I probably wont go back there. Tel Aviv also have beautiful, passionate men.. I met a few while there. One arabic guy that was a bit younger then me. He invited me over for cake and showed me his Mind Craft world.. He had made houses for all hes previous love interests. A bit weird I must say, but he was also a interesting guy. Not something to go forward with though lol. The second guy I met was mega hot, inteligent, tall spanish guy. He had been living in Tel VAiv the last 5 years, studying Arabic and foreign relations. He was planning to move to Iraq to follow a minority group up there in some time, I think I will go to visit him. Anyways - it was some of the hottest sex Ive had in a long long time. He was bottom (the perfect), but also had an amazing cock, mouth.., evertying. We had sex twice right after eachtother. I had to do a Skype interview over phone for a job offer in Beijoing (more about that later), and because I ran out of time, I had to have it at his place. A bit weird to go though my whole professional life in a Skype interview in front of him, but I think he took it well. A few days later I met a tall, a bit sturdy, beardy Israely/turkish guy. Also very handsome. I invited him over to the apartment when everyone else was out and we had sex all over the place. In the sofa, and the kitchen table… The lats night I had a quick hookup with a tall israeli psycho terapist. Was fun and a nice ending of a nice trip. Very fun.

Anyways. enough about the Tel Aviv boys. Poor Vegar and Sigbjørn both got food poisoned after 2 days and ended up at the hospital. They stayed home most of the time, though we did have some fun times too. Unfortinuatley I managed to get in the middle of a drunken row they had. Ive now learned to NEVER get involved in other peoples love life. It got heated! We talked about it though, and it was all good the next day. I got alone time with everyone on the trop except Bennedicte. She was out partying til 9 every morning and were a bit to moody for my taste. Interesting enough she was the one who were the least easygoing, with is funny as she talked so much about who else that could potentially be moody before hand. Honestly I find herself a bit selfish from time to time, or a bit closed in her own world. I guess we all are though… Kristoffer met A LOT of boys during the trip. More then me. I felt a bit strange about it, as I am very good friends with his boyfriend in Norway Harald. The last nigght, he even brought one of his dates for dinner, and sat kissing with him openly infant of everyone. How can he expect us all to just forget about that? If he wants to leve things in Tel Aviv, then he should keep his stuff in the bedroom, and not drag his boyfriends best friends into it. I wont mention it to anyone ever, but I totally lost a lot of respect for Kristoffer after seeing that. Fuck that shot. Just no. Not ok. I hope he breaks up with Harald when he gets home if thats how he feels. If nothing else, I hope they have a proper talk and manage to fight it out and then move on. I dont really see them lasting if its as dark as this. As for Vik, we had a great time togehter. She is so funny and easy going, and made sure that everyone had a good time, all the time. Never put herself first. She also openly went on Tindr dates while there (with blessing from her boyfriend). All these poor guys that she used for tips and guides and free drinks, before she dropped them off. She didn't even exchange a kiss.. hilarious.As forJulia, we also had a super nice day together at this swanky rooftop. Im happy she joined. only bad thing about tel Aviv was the prices btw. Equally expencive as Norway! Last day I spent with Liat, Klauses goof friend from London. She's a funny, stress woman. She's sper nice, but a bit intense and talkative in her own way. Nice, but one day was enough!

After Israel, the trip went to Nairobi, via Jordan and Quatar. I had a long trip, but managed to both get sleep and relax. In Nairobi Carmen was waiting for me together with Sigur, the guy we were lucky enough to stay with. He is a close friend of Maren, and hes half Norwegian/Kenyan so he hes family has a few houses in Nairobi and close to the Uganda border. Superduper sweet 24 year old guy. Hes been based in london the last few years, where he has built himself up a name in the fashion PR / Producer industry, but after a long though and a realisation about what matters ib life he has decided to drop it all and start to study development studies back in Norway from the fall. An old sole for his young ange, even though the 24 year old came out from time to time. Anyways, we staid in their villa in Nairobi. Huge house in the richest part of town. We lied there for free with servants, free food and all we could have wanted. Like living in a luxury hotel. After a few days in Nairobi, me and Car jetted of on a safari trip to Nairusha and Hells gate. One the way we ended up at the mandatory Kenyan police station expereince. Our driver had been speeding, and had to go to court 8!). Meanwhile me and Car went of on our own. We walked thought this random, poor, kenyan village and into a forest to check out a lake we found on the map. All of the sudden we found ourselves walking though a cactus forest, and then a ancient forests with a million bird sounds. So beautiful. After that we were suddenly standing on a filed full of zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, wild beast and more. Totally surreal… Turns out we had trespassed into one of the national parks, so a grad found us and helped us out and back to the policestation. Regardless - one of the more magical experiences of my life I think :-)

After picking up our driver we headed to Hells Gate. A national parks where you are clouded to bike (illeagl in all the others). Super nice trip, we were biking in between zepras, worth pigs, and more. I would definitely come back. After the bike ride we headed down in hells gate, a volcanic old water system. Also stunning. In the evening when we got home we had a drunken pianos session in Sigurs mums piano concert room. What a day and nigt. The next few days we explored Nairobi more, went to Gosepel church, went out line dancing on a tacky rooftop nightclub, Sigurs were friend hit heavily on me, we went to Karen Blixnes house, we went to some fancy restaurants and cocktail bars, and we got to meet Sigurs 92 year old father, as well as his amazing mom and step dad. What a family. We also almost ended up in jail and court after having taken a picture of a government building. I was so shocked by it that I was shivering. These two big guys with machine guns came out and started to harass me and Carnen. Luckily Carmen is a very lud, smart, tiny, cute asian woman, so she handled the situation like a star. I am SO impressed. After 45 minutes the police gave up and let us go. A good thing, as we were jumping on a plane to Lamu the next morning, so a sleep over at the police station and court hearings would have ruined our trip.

Lamu is one of the most beautiful places Ive ever seen. I will definelty come back. Its a unesco protected, muslim old trading island on the border to Somalia. It used to have loads of tourists, but now its very poorly visited due to recent terror atacks in the Lamy district closer to Somalia. We felt 100% safe, and 500 % amazed. Ive never seen nature like it. Also very cheap. We went for sunset runs, sailboat rides, luxury hotel hangouts, drinks, we showed alcohol at the local police station (only place where they sold it at the islands) and took boat taxiss. There are no cars at the island. After Lamu, we went back to Nairobi for one night, before we said bye to Sigur and headed to Airusha and Tanzania for 3 days of safari, Also an amazing experience. Its insane that there are areas in the wold where so many species live freely, in huge numbers in full harmony. We met hundreds on hundreds of zebras, wildebeests and elephants, We met lions, strutser, hyenas and monkeys. All in harmony. The landscape was varied and beautiful. We even went into a old vulcani crater caller ngroro ngoro. Supposedly it ha the widest range of animals gathered in one area in the world!

After the safari trio it was time ti say goodbye to Carmen. We have now known each other for 10 years, so this trip was sort of out anniversary. She wrote me this beautiful letter the day we parted, where she said that I have been a big inspiration for her to make her take the choices in life that she has done the last 5 years. Honestly . the most flattering and heartf´worming thing anyone has ever written to me. Carmen is a sister to me now. I love her :-) We will potentially meet up in Cape town this winter. I hope so. It was a bit sad to send her of, but also a bit nice to have some time alone before heading home. I had one night in Arusha, and then one night and day in Dar Es Salam. I went around Arusah with a few local guys I met on the street. They showed me the markets and some charming areas of the city, In Dar, I just went for some indian food on my own and had a hookup with a hottie from South Africa. Before I met him I met up with another guy that I had to send home He sent me pictures of this tall handsome guy with a big dick, but when he turned up he was a midget with loads of aces and a micro penis. How delutional is it possible to be?? And how rude!!! Ugh.. Today, my lat day I went for manicure and pedicure, nd then had a beer at the bech. Dar is a strange town. I did not really like it I must admit. Very segregated between rich and poor, very expat, quite intense on the streets, and a lot of people in desperate pverty. If I come back I will make sure I have many days so I can get o meet and understand the locals a bit better. On my way to the flight I am now I almost lost the flight due t heavy traffic. A 30 min car drive ended up lasting for alsmot 2 hours… Anyways…. that was my holidays so far. Now Im headed to Berlin for 3 days before heading home to work on Tuesday. I have a good feeling about Berlin, but it will also be a bit interesting. I will meet and maybe stay over with a really nice guy I have been dating from Oslo lately. He is there too and has rented a hotel room. I am supposed to stay with Goro, but I might trade her out for the boy… Lets see. Sigbjørn, Benni and Vegar is there also. So a big crew.

WORK

I manages to finish of most Bleed work before the summer. The main project being the Sikkerhet i NAturen one. I think it went well (minus too many hours), and we ended up as the main event on the NRK TV news. Not bad! After the summer most of my Bleed projects are pretty dull though… Cant say I am too excited. As for my freelance stuff, I have almost too much going on. between August and October I have to finish FAF festival catalogue + website, Im making a book for Rogaland Kunstsenter with More and Geir, Im doing concert banners and t-shorts for Cezenando, finishing a website for Tove, Im helping More on a book project for National museet and I am making a ctakouge + some other effects for Oslo otobook festival. Its in reality too much too handle, so I need to find a way to deal with it. Another problem is tax… I have not yet pais any tax money, and am earning a lot. Ive decided to hire a Tax guy to do it the right way from now in. In total I think I will earn ca 100.000… Too much! But really good too, as I have set myself a goal - and that is to save 70.000,- NOK by the end of the year. The reason I want to save up is because I want to slowly start working more independently. I am planning to have a talk with Dag at Bleed about this after the holiday. My current plan is to start to ask for a 90% position at bleed, rather then 100. That means that I want to ask if I can work one day less per week. If he is not fie with that I have to try to negotiate though something else. I have to be super strict with myself to make this happen. It is NUMBER ONE priority after the summer. I dont wish to quit bleed, but in order to stay, I need to respect my need for creative development on my own terms. Hopefully him and them will understand this. I will try to make a little draft during the next following days to define what I want more closely. Other then that I have gotten a bit further with the planning for Grafill one night only concept. I want to invite BLAD (petri) and another new design duo in Oslo and see what they can come up with. Lets see what they can do. Start-up meeting in August.

FRIENDS

So Im shifting a bit away from having Benni as my closest. I guess this is maybe also because we dont work together anymore. The people I see the most right now is Tor Erik, Vegar, Sigbjørn and INgemar. I also see Agatha, Benni, Maren, Vik, Harald, Saga and Siri quite often. There is actually almost a bit too many close people now. I think I will have problems finding time to follow up after the summer. Maybe I need to take a little timeout from friends and focus one work and a few social things per week instead? Also, if I will keep on dating EManuel, that will for sure also demand time, and should be a priority. I guess dating someone is always a fair excuse :)

LIFE

I generally feel that I am on a swing upward atm. Probably because Ive done some thinking and decided to do some changes. Just the knowledge about that something will change and that its in my power to make that happen feels empowering somehow. I am also being more and more aware of my age, and that I am growing old, and not growing up any more. Its a strange thing. Its almost as if I feel I have to make the most out of it while Ive still got it. It feels a bit fucked up. There are all these new young people hoping up everywhere, and also suddenly my a bit older friends are pushing 40. There is a new generation taking over y’all… I guess I just have to exept it sooner then later.

LOVE

So I just read though my previous post, and there I mentioned something about Ole. That was totally nothing more then a thought. He is a big flirt, has a super cute boyfriend and I think were becoming potential frineds. They invited me for their pride party, with was super fun. Lets see if we can make it into a real freindship. I also dated a guy called Ole Magnus briefly. We met 3 times. Had som great sex, and then I think we were just both over it. I was probably over it because I had met another really nice guy called Emanuel. Hes a dance teacher, my age from Norway. I sleep lik a baby when I am with him, he is really warm and kind, just enough insecure and vulnerable (I like vulnerable guys), but still sturdy, mature and also quite handsome I would say. He is quite masculin, but at the same time one of his main hobbies is to be a drag queen! We met around the time Oslo Prode was, so his life was a lot about dragging up around then. I was bit unsure how I would feel about dating a guy that has a altered that is so different from the one I know and have met, but I also think what I saw was much more intense then what everyday life is. Ive decided that if we still date when hes having hes next show, I will show up and support. I think he is more p, but I think he has a good A in him too. Maybe I will find more out about this during the weekend in Berlin. I think he is really into me, but I dont want to over think it, and have decided that its great we are having such fun, and that I am looking forward to get to know him better. I think hes the best match Ive come across in quite some time. Having this said, we have only sent time together in t´hotel rooms, and its friends apartments that we have been looking after. So no regular life so far.

OTHER

Ive been renting out my apt at Air BNB this summer , summer thing I really regret. There has been construction work on the house, something that has lead to loads of nouce, dust and bad conditions in the flat Many of my guests has moved to after one day, and Ive had to do a lot of sweet-talking and reductions in price. Poor Maren said yes to look after the place, so she was dragged into it too. Ive promised to give her 500,- nok for each booking. A small price to pay after all that drama. Luckily she's kept it cool nd relaxed the whole way.

Kritina has broken up with her trubadur boyfriend (Yes!), Agatha is back with her crazy boyfriend Henrik (No!!).. Mamma seems to be happy. Im going to Bergen for Linnis 90th, Heges 50th and Kristinas 40th in August.. So many travels. Im also heading to Moscow in September. I went to Lisboa in June. I was supposed to stay with a freind, but he had double booked and was out of town. He let me stay in his appartment, introduced me to his lovely frineds, who took me out for dinner, clubbing, gave me drugs and took me to museums. I also took with me home a tall swedish handsome guy. I think traveling on my own is my new thing. I will try to do it more. I feel so free doing so.
