For the-slumberparty reader activity - the scene that comes to mind when I think of you Jen is that ending of the third part of Ojos Asi where reader stumbles in the shower and Joaquin comes sort of to the rescue but reader is insecure about how he views her, ugh it’s just the perfect mix of angst and fluff!! My question is was that always part of your plan for how they reveal their feelings? And if not, how did that evolve as you wrote the series?

Ojos Asi is one of the few fics where I have actually put some planning into the structure as opposed to throwing words at a page and seeing what sticks. Of course, Quin and Sparky had their turn at steering the story, like all MCs, but once I'd decided that she would get hurt in part 2 and he would be her knight in shining armour, I wanted to put them in a situation that would make them both emotionally vulnerable, but unable to get out of it.

So that's how we got there - she can't get up on her own and is completly naked, still in pain, confused because of her own feelings that have been growing and growing as much as she wanted to deny them for the sake of the friendship, and poor Quin, he has to help her, even if he didn't have feelings for her, he is too much of a gentleman to walk away. But....she's his best friend, his something more if only he were brave enough and good enough for her, but it's not right for him to be looking at her when he's supposed to be helping, but he wants to. He wants to drink her all in, so help him, so he's conflicted, feeling like a creep, but wanting so much to be everything she needs

So, yeah - hopefully all of this jumble of emotions came across in that scene, after they've been dancing around each other for the first part of that chapter explicitly, and across chapters 1-2 implicitly.
