met sam witwer saturday (and couldn’t get a sentence out to save my life) and showed him one of my sabers. he referred to it as something like the “kamino standard” and i just nodded and smiled because the man’s a nerd and knows all the niche stuff i don’t.

flash forward to yesterday evening when i was trying to think of a way for taji to acquire said saber from kamino, and went “oh! her father probably just brought it home for her!”

and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. while i was watching a playthrough of force unleashed II, i joked with a friend that the saber galen has when he jumps out of the window on kamino at the beginning of the game looked just like my saber. BECAUSE (i think) IT IS.

so yeah. that’s fun.

TLDR; sam witwer geeked out over my saber design because it’s literally from the game and i was too dumb/starstruck to process it until over 24 hours later.
