Oh I see how this is going to be! You’re all going to trick me into drawing Echo happy!! xD Haha thank you for the request, I had fun drawing this! Here’s Echo with an aloe! :)

There’s two versions because for some reason I wanted to try digital art but I got the flat colours and then had no idea where to go from there xD So I went back to traditional, and by then I had the motivation to clean up the sketch a little and add a couple details.. but I feel like they’re equally messy so I’m gonna post them both anyway. :)

1. Aaravos - I like that I was able to achieve overall cohesiveness with this illustration.

2. Prince Ezran - I feel like this was the first painting I did where shapes and lighting and contrast and everything made sense, and it didn’t feel like a huge struggle. I also managed to use some overlays without it totally wrecking the piece as usual lol.

3. Falherna (@iawv ‘s OC) - I just think this character art piece came out pretty well, thanks to finally having a better understanding of digital art, and being able to put it into practice.

4. Solas - I’m still not sure if I’m proud of how this one came out, but I’m proud that I tried new things when making it.

5. Eli doodle - I made this one on a whim, but it actually ended up being quite aesthetically pleasing, and I like it.

Nicholas Hytner’s promenade production of Julius Caesar, the London Theatre Company’s second production at the Bridge Theatre, runs from 20th January to 15th April 2018, with opening night on Tuesday 30th January 2018. Designs are by Bunny Christie, with costumes by Christina Cunningham, music by Nick Powell, lighting by Bruno Poet and sound by Paul Arditti.

The cast comprises David Calder (Caesar), Michelle Fairley (Cassius), David Morrissey (Mark Antony) and Ben Whishaw (Brutus) with Adjoa Andoh (Casca), Rosie Ede (Marullus/Artemidorus), Leila Farzad (Decius Brutus), Fred Fergus (Lucius/Cinna the Poet), Wendy Kweh (Calpurnia), Mark Penfold (Caius Ligarius), Abraham Popoola (Trebonius), Sid Sagar (Flavius/Popilius Lena), Nick Sampson (Cinna), Hannah Stokely (Metellus Cimber) and Kit Young (Octavius) as well as ensemble members Zachary Hart and Leaphia Darko. Other are roles played by members of the company.

Caesar returns in triumph to Rome and the people pour out of their homes to celebrate. Alarmed by the autocrat’s popularity, the educated élite conspire to bring him down. After his assassination, civil war erupts on the streets of the capital.

Hytner’s production will be in promenade, thrusting its audience into the street party that greets Caesar’s return, the congress that witnesses his murder, the rally that assembles for his funeral and the chaos that explodes in its wake. With seating wrapped around the action, there will also be several hundred promenading tickets at £25 available in advance for each performance.

Project Thaumaturgy - Helena

I’m re-designing a few of my characters and started with one of the main antagonists of my novel in progress: Helena. She is a witch from a long forbidden circle, the spirit circle. Her magic allows her to see and communicate with spirits, interact with the spirit world and even manipulate one’s spirit and bend them to her will (yeah, guess why that circle is forbidden now xD) She made a deal with the demon Andras, they work together and make Tristan and Astrid’s lives a literal hell. I’m still working on her backgroundstory so… that’s it for now. Bonus doodle below the cut because I need to practice character interaction and maybe this gives me more motivation to write on that story again.

They have an... interesting work relationship (she thinks he's a good dog)
