Jenny took a deep breath, straightened her shoulders, and continued walking across the street. Tears threatened to pour out of her eyes, but she bit her lip fiercely and forced them back. She couldn't cry, not now. Traversing across the entire country had been a challenge, both physically and emotionally, and it had been taxing, but Jenny hoped that it would be worth every trial and obstacle she'd faced. There was nothing left for her back home; she didn't have a home to retreat to, or a familiar pair of arms to snuggle into. The heartbreaking truth was that Jenny had no one she could rely on, except for herself.

But that was okay. She had overcome so many tribulations in her young life, and she would overcome this one as well.

Starting Over is an excerpt from Jenny in Lights, which is the backstory of Jenny Sanderson, one of the Lost Girls. Moodboard made by me. Pictures found on Unsplash and Canva Pro.

I don’t think I’ve ever posted art of these two on here, nor do I draw them often, which is a shame since I love their aesthetic SO MUCH

Anyways, this is another main oc story of mine called Gold-Rush! The basic plot is about two sisters, Willow (the younger one at 12) and Jenny (older at 22). Jenny is the leader of their family’s mafia and owns the family casino, and Willow is the head assassin of the group. I might share some more info later ^^
