I'm actually super interested in this topic but do any of your original stories have genders other than male/female (as is understood in human western society)? Is there a completely different set of genders? No genders but something equivalent to it?

Weehee worldbuilding sketches! The Havens and the Underworld, home to angels and demons respectively, stand vertically parallel to each other with nothing but the surface dividing them. While the Havens is a technologically advanced floating city, the Underworld is an inverted, magical kingdom. The uppermost layer of the Havens belongs to the hierarchical council, while the bottommost layer of the Underworld hosts the sprawling castle of the royal family. They're hidden by a layer of clouds/the ground, so surface dwellers have little to no idea where they're located, lest they have a good idea of where to look.

i've seen your story with Azura und Crocodile will she join crossguild?
First, thank you for your interest in my little drabble. This is very much apppreciated.
I'm not at the point in the manga yet where Crossguild is being founded. So I have no idea yet... could be a possibility for later though.
I don't see Azura having any patience with Buggy at all though. But I guess she would work well with both Crocodile and Mihawk. Since at that point there are no more warlords of the sea anyway, this might be a good opportunity for Azura to stay relevant in the canon storyline.

So- that's my first post huh.
Just some random OCs with horses, 'cause they are fun to draw (the horses, not the OCs)

strange dreams, the feeling of being unknown
(an in-character lore piece for the Mianite RPG)
Falling.
Falling.
Falling.
It's been a month since I've been like truly awake. Aurelia can't explain it, and neither can I. It’s like I’m not here at all, or that I’m not strong enough to exist on the same plane as everyone else. But it's not weakness, nor is it some kind of exhaustion.
It’s just a weight unlike anything I’ve felt before. Jumping in and out of reality mentally, but thank god, not physically.
I’ve returned somewhat to being a hermit, being away from everyone else as much as I can. I don’t really understand what’s keeping me away, but maybe I don’t want to know.
The other guardians can't know what’s been going on. If the legion finds out, I don’t imagine Dianite will be very forgiving with how I’ve become. I mean- I don’t know if they miss me. I don’t want my friends to worry, so I’ve told Aurelia to not tell anyone.
When she went to Nibiru, I just told her to say that I was getting some rest, working on things when I got the chance.
And I don’t think I want them to know.
The thing is, I haven’t dreamed like this in a long time.
But they always start the same.
I’m back home on Astrakhiens. A quiet hum develops through the reeds, lacugrove trees and lilypads, accompanied by a ripple that runs across the surface of the lake. I’m drawn to the reflection of the ender nebula on the water’s surface more than I remember being before, the acquiescent oranges and violet hues dancing across my field of vision, interrupted only by luminescent particles which shine with the same sparkle as the stars in the sky.
Sunflowers my mom had planted the last time she visited me prior to the final stages of the portal experiments still grow in that small patch. The only breed that can grow in End, she had told me, the only breed that could survive the cold of the Void without the sun which had gave it its name.
My old house stands as it always has, a certain surface-of-the-sea like glisten to the smaragdant roof tiles above walls of flavolite, vines from lost time crawling down the corners, tucked kindly away between tree bark. As I turn my head to peer through the lilac stained glass though, the figure inside isn’t me.
The person standing in my house, tinkering with my things isn’t me.
His hair resembles the void as if it were set ablaze, wisps of violet and orange flame flickering off his body with every movement. He’s draped in robes of cerulean, gold and white, engraved with a foreign runic language. The claws on his feet dig deep into the moss on the flooring I never made an attempt to repair. While I cannot see myself, or am sure if I’m even there, I can feel the glass heating up as he approaches the windows.
The closer I get, the less familiar I feel to myself, and I see a face, not my face, appear like a mirage in between gold plated framing.
I don’t remember enough to describe what looked back at me.
What’s more interesting is how the foliage behind me changes as well.
This time, I’m back in the overworld in a flattened limestone cove overlooking the sea on a set of smooth stone stairs. Behind me sits a lighthouse made of copper and maroon wood, at its base sitting a humble stone and spruce home with red windows. A soft sea breeze blows, a subtle clicking awakening the lights throughout the building. Something about this particular structure does not feel inviting. I occasionally can spot a fox and turtle wandering about the red carpet inside, but the doors are never unlocked, despite there being no indication of redstone that would keep it closed.
Most times instead, I am inclined to follow the pathway around the intentionally crafted coastline, adorned with glowing copper ore, which leads me into a winding river laden ravine, cliffsides climbing high into the sky. The farther down this ravine I walk, the more reminiscent of home it starts to feel.
At some point, I reach a house buried deep into the side of the mountain, adorned by peculiar stone walls, and green bamboo tile roofs. It appears desolate, as if no one has lived in it for years. The animal pen to just to the right is inhabited by only two chickens, who for reasons I can’t explain seem spry as ever, as if they were just born.
I have no idea who this home belonged to, but I am always inclined to step inside, only to be met by an open floor, full of dusty chests and half crafted tools, enchantments and redstone scattered about the ground left unfinished- as if their owner had left in a hurry, and without finding a resolution that i think they maybe have had desired. Laments of a time long gone are inscribed into the walls broken by what appears to be unsystematic explosions, creating craters without specific intent.
Within moments of exploring the interiors, dusting off surfaces, the walls of the house seem to close in on me, slowly gaining in rapidity and I am forced to burst through stained and mossy oak doors which had once been rusted copper only moments before.
Stumbling into the woods with empty hands.
I am met by what appears to be overgrown farmland. Unlike the place before, there is not a single animal to be found. What might have been a pool before with a diving board hundreds of meters into the sky is the only thing that looks even remotely normal- the water clear as it can be, a small assortment of tropical fish making its home amongst the rough edged coral and cobblestone at its floor. Above me, runs a network of haphazardly placed dirt and stone bridges connecting three main buildings I think; all together forming the shape of a lightning bolt if someone looked at it from the sky.
The first few times I had this dream, I used to think the thick overgrowth that I find myself sinking into, as if gravity suddenly took a stronger hold of me was comprised of grass, flowers, the kind of thing that grows if you leave your lawn unkempt for long enough.
But it was this past night that I realized it was sunflowers. Stems, leaves, shoots and flowers both fully blossomed and dead petals littering the ground beneath my feet.
Nothing but sunflowers.
It’s then when I look up towards the sky, expecting storm clouds stretching towards the horizon to be the cause of a sudden onset darkness that had blocked the sky, the only light now coming from a lava feature across from the main house, netherrack spilling out of the crackled obsidian portal that sat at its center adorned by just the slightest bit of nether foliage.
Instead I am met by the soft glow of stars, the gentle hum of the void and the enigmatic glow of a forming ender nebula coming over the edge of the world.
The ground beneath me shifts into something like a cerulean ocean set on fire, glowing with abstract patterns of aqua and cyan, my footsteps leaving ripples across it. The water itself is shallow, I don’t sink, I don’t swim, I just simply stand on its surface.
I feel inclined to keep going, as I walk across a barren nothing for what feels like hours. Eventually, a face appears in the sky- A pair of pearlescent eyes, surrounded by a multicolor iridescent nebula, ever shifting. A symbol not unlike to the one on that appeared on the back of my shirt manifests above her head between curls, and one by one purple eyes appear across their cheeks.
Never once has the face spoken to me, but always waits till I get close, offers his hand-
And I wake up again.

a wip for Toroxel's new Ref sheet ( aaaand new wings update, he turns his regulars arms to wings )
and a quick sketch for toroxel having an Equivian companion ( Torox named him Teagan ) and ofc both have grew a strong bond on each other (even they have seen often before Torox got the scars on his back )
finally i did created a new creature for my worldbuilding ;w; like i wanted to add someothing related to local fauna ( especially with wild-domestic animals and different types of plants )
for what i have in mind , the equivians are very docile creatures and very good companions , they're well know to be excellent at hunting fish and be collaborative ( often can be seen with mosaical harpies , working together to obtain the fish )

What makes a wind blow? A rock fall? A fire consume? Will. It is in their nature to do these things, and the force of their action is the force of their will. The will of the ocean is greater than that of an untrained man; this is why he is bowled over and drowned.
But a thing with a will is a thing that can be named, bent, trained to come at a call. This is the heart of all magic, the art of turning the elements away from their natural wills. The greater the will of the artist, the greater change he may cause. It is a trivial task to change how a rock falls, it is much harder to send it high into the air.
The naming of them, however, is risky. They remember. And, as you should already know, a name is one of the most important features of a true mind. A tide, of course, cannot possess a true mind. However, if it is named properly by a mage, it will, in time, come to possess a false one.

Was just having some thoughts abt a decently recent oc world I adapted from a dream and realized that I only talked about this specific world in dms w a pal n not publicly ???? and that is a crime so . have fun with another horribly long beetle paranormeow7 worldbuilding post™️
this is gonna be long. beware
Basically, this world began with a very vivid and detailed dream I had where I lived in a surreal version of the afterlife, specifically hell. Most of the main details of the world are actually straight out of the dream, most of the changes were just adding more little details and exposition. Since my initial dream mostly showed hell, I’ll be talking about it the most here, and I might make a separate post on heaven later.
The way it works is that heaven and hell are both colossal cities floating in a white void, and once you die a ferryman will take you on a boat to your appropriate afterlife. The system was pretty fucked though, so it wasn’t a guarantee you’d get the right one, but more on that later. Heaven is basically this shiny, futuristic city in the sky full of round edges and soft colors, built on the shattered remains of a marble statue of an angel (in the original dream it was just a floating island), and hell is a grody, crowded and lawless city literally situated inside the skinned corpse of the devil himself (In the dream, it was just his head).
As I mentioned before, the system that gets you into the afterlife in this ocverse is SUPER fucked. Some higher up angel or demon could fuck up your paperwork and you could end up in the wrong afterlife. This has been happening to more and more people lately. The good news is, you can apply for a transfer!! The bad news is, it’s a very cumbersome and inefficient system that can take years on end to get results from, if your requests even go through. Sadly though, it’s the only way to do this.
The way the process goes is that first you fill out a request card and mail it to your afterlife’s central office to have it processed through a complicated courier system. Once it is, it reaches the higher ups, who will look over your files to see if you’re fit for a transfer, send you a travel card, and alert the ferryman to come and pick you up.
However, this isn’t accounting for any of the complications that may, and probably will, arise during your transfer process. Your card might not reach the offices, it could get lost in the courier system, and if it reaches the higher ups they could absolutely just reject you. And if they don’t, you might not even get your travel card, or no one could alert the ferryman. If any of these errors occur, you simply have to start the process over again. Some people have been doing this for years.
However, if you are a strange or special enough case, you may be summoned to see the higher ups themselves, which in Hell are a hivemind like cabinet of demons led by the most powerful in the office. once this powerful demon dies, the next most powerful ascends to their position. Their office is located inside the brain, with an elevator up on the spinal column. For both afterlives, your invitation will come to you on an engraved black piece of metal. This detail may or may not be an urban legend, because there hasn’t been many cases of this happening, and no one has come back to tell the tale.
Every part of the city runs through different parts of Lucifers body, your stay in hell beginning with the ferryman dropping you into the mouth, where you will be verified, and kicking you down the throat to fend for yourself once it’s over. While there are others, mostly for staff demons, the most accessible method of transport for the average denizen is through the blood vessels. Claustrophobic, overcrowded and winding, you’ll have to step over fellow lost souls and sticky blood clots as you travel and no matter where the signs point you, you’re never really sure of where they’ll spit you out.
The lungs and ribcage are where the living quarters are, using the heart as a power source. The bronchial forest, near the lung tenement, is a good place to pick up supplies, but you may also run into danger in the form of bloodthirsty creatures, staff demons or fellow denizens. Each tenant gets the exact same tiny, barren apartment, with two small rooms and a dingy balcony to look out at the debauchery below. Some tenants may choose to customise their apartment with trinkets and decorations acquired throughout the city, though. Just because your place is nothing special doesn’t mean you can’t make it your own.
Peppered throughout the limbs and resting on the bones are various shady, washed out clubs, shops, restaurants, and an all manner of less than trustworthy businesses and attractions waiting to swindle you out of something. In this city, it’s every man for himself, and the only way to get ahead and benefit from these places is to cheat, lie, steal, etc. Out-con everyone. Although it is possible to have friends or a group of people to travel with, preparing for betrayal may prevent heartbreak in the future. No one cares who you were, who you want to be, or what you’ve done. The only thing that matters is the here and now.
The digestive system is infamous. Some would never want to get caught there, some go seeking fame and glory. Above the acid pits of the stomach sits a gladiator arena, where hells citizens can brutally fight their way to the top of the leaderboard on live TV and gain notoriety and respect throughout the city. If you get bumped to the very bottom of the leaderboard, you get thrown into the acid pits for all of hell to see, and for you to stay for the rest of your afterlife.
Since you cannot die in hell, no matter how bad you get injured, it can’t really do anything to you. However, injuries and conditions will not heal up or go away in hell, and with how dangerous the place is, it’s common to see horribly mutilated people walking around and going about their day to day life. You are able to do things such as get stitches, splints, bandages etc, but they’re pretty coveted and not too easy to get, so you’ll usually see people who are unable to wandering around with their intestines hanging out or their skin missing or bones sticking out or something. In the original dream, I met a woman covered in bandages simply walking half of a dog. This dog was alive and vibing, just sliced in half.
There were two other people with me in my dream, next door neighbors in my tenement. They didn’t have names originally, but now their names are Crimson and Pitch, obviously nicknames, because who needs real names in hell. I might talk more about them in a separate post because this post is going on too long already, but I promise I WILL talk about them and answer asks about them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I drew some rudimentary sketches of them. they’re shit but uh. dude with the black curly hair, leather jacket and fucked up eyes is pitch and the girl with no skin and no face is crimson. anyways idk what else to put on this post. I think this is it uh thanks for reading here’s my cat

May I perhaps request some more info about your OCs?
My OCs, mainly all dragons, live in their own world, of course, a land far far away. It's a lot of magic arcano tech so it's semi-modern, semi-high fantasy medieval. The world is still unnamed because I'm indecisive as all hell but it's a number of kingdoms all on one continent though I've been working on other continents. The dragons in my other post are 5/6 heirs of the dragons on that main continent. They're of the oldest kingdoms, more powerful and such. A lot of things are unnamed, actually, I'll be creating a full map hopefully soon!
They're all dragon shifters, meaning they have essentially two forms: A human one and a dragon one, as seen on their reference sheets. This is part of their innate magic, though they have the ability to study and learn magic if they please. All shifters have some sort of breath magic, like fire, which is unique to their species typically. If you guys are curious, I can go into their species in another post. (PLEASE my autistic brain put such genuine scientific thought into them)
They live for long periods of time, so it's common for older dragons to dabble into magic at some point in their lives, but it's a passive thing. Mages are common, just more common among elves and humans.
As for THEIR STORY
My dragons are all young adults, heirs to their throne. They sort of grow together, a group of friends their parents set up to ensure peace across the kingdoms sharing their continent. They get sent off to this boarding school in Celest and Luna's kingdom, further away from the castle that's meant to help raise heirs and prepare them to eventually take the throne. It's a high school through college type deal, so they're all young adults in the exact story.
At the boarding school, they're mentored by the high mage of the continent who tends to remain super neutral on everything. His name is Fitz and he actively took all of the heirs in to train them with everything they'll need to run the kingdoms in their parents absence.
It starts out an innocent slice of life, but political tensions are rising between some of the kingdoms (and the dragons) because Zircon's, that 6th character reference I haven't finished, parents are trying to get more land and power over the continent. This caused a rift between the friend group, too, with Zircon's parents urging him to cause problems. Eventually, they urged him to "get rid of them."
One day, he's finally brought to act and Zircon invites all of them to meet up in Fitz's study and magic lab, where they frequently group up for lectures and such. Instead of killing his friends, which he can't bring himself to do, he is able to banish them to another world.
This is where the fun bit comes in!! Essentially, my dragons must try to blend in as humans in a more modern world while also working to find other magic beings and get help figuring out their way home, avoiding being hunted down by humans (and even other non-human beings).
Aaaaand, yeah!! That's all for this ramble :3c pleaase ask more questions, I'll hopefully get art up soon, maybe try a comic? I probably won't have time but there will be frequent art of them.

I’m not sure wether to call this a Snow Lizard, a Wolf Lizard, or a Lupine Lizard.
They’re fluffy ambush predators that live in the icy area surrounding Dead of Night’s can. A perceptive creature might notice these guys through their ancestral darker spotting. A genetically unlucky lizard might even sport a fully darkened head!

I love my silly little place names :) Here are some!
Montvolley (a county):
Farefort (the capital city and a huge trading centre of cultural importance. The people there are known for being educated, high-energy and high-end)
Brooksfield (the land which the royal family's holiday home resides in. It's huge)
Blumewald (a county)
Port Blume (the city most of the story takes place in. A coastal town created for keeping an eye on the poorest people of the county, which are watched over by the Count. Mostly natives and immigrants. Trade and craftsmanship is their main source of income here as they're not allowed to own farmland. This is the case with most towns)
Weideswil/Weideswile (a county):
Dovepool (a place where many nobles have their summer homes. Slow-paced society and beautiful scenery)
Markholm (a county)
Soudemouth (some coastal city that really isn't too relevant to the plot. Cannibalism happened there once, I dunno. There is also a river called Soude)

yes, do tell :3 <-- has a worldbuilding special interest
OKOKOK YIPEWWWWWWEE
soo im gonna talk abt werewolves first 👍
werewolves exist in my oc universe BUT since everyone is an anthro animal ( furry moment!1!1! ) werewolves are just a weird type of wolf that never reallyy evolved , they r bipedal but besides that they are basically just feral wolves
werewolves can also be domestic! domestic werewolves r pretty much just dogs :3 there r even service werewolves just like there are service dogs!
they r also carnivores! but they usually scavenge rather than hunting!
i havent drawn any werewolves yet, but im sure you have an idea of what they look like /silly
———————————————
mosscores!
mosscores are essentially just deer but ✨funkier✨!
they live in forests, they run very fast, and are quite skittish, and they live in groups! just like deer :D
they normally eat plants! mainly moss nd lichen!
Tumblr media
i actually have art of these guys this time!1!1!1
————————————————-
whispies!
ok! so whispies r these lil ghost things! they are predators and can become invisible for short periods of time , which helps w hunting!
they can be domestic! domestic ones are basically just mixes between cats n dogs behaviour wise!
thats all i have for now! but ill probably update this post when i make more species :P!

@ the Anon who asked about Crocodile and Cordelia, I might have found a way to make it work -
Crocodile is the parent. Whether it's Crocomum or Crocodad will be left open until either Oda confirms anything or I have to come up with something. She was most likely left to the other parent who might have died at some point, leaving little Cordy to fend for herhelf in the streets. Tried to steal from Smoker (I'm not sorry, I was going through the Marines in order to get the facts right for Midori's introduction and what can I say, I'm a sucker for the most unlikely people suddenly having to care for someone, blended families, found families and whatever...) and was taken in to find her folks. He did found out who her other parent was but decided not to take action and instead take care of her (assuming he has family somewhere, he brought her there to be taken care of when he was at sea). I might have to make her younger since Smoker is only in his 30s - if I make her younger, he might have been mid-20s when he found her and she got attached quickly and assuming he had parents somewhere who wanted to give the kid a chance instead of sending her to the nearest orphanage.... hmmmm... She grew up on the right side of the law but also learned not taking shit from anybody and learned to stand up for herself. Although she was offered to join the marines, she decided not to, never having liked rules very much and also having seen some of the not-so-great things the marines did. I think I said she was working on Sabaody in a bar - I'll keep that and have her meet the Supernovas and all to get her more involved with pirates. Eventually she learns who her still living parent is which makes things complicated. She is stubborn and headstrong and will eventually seek Crocodile out. She will have learned basic fighting from Smoker and Tashigi but will gain her devil fruit ability later in the story, after the timeskip somehow. I will need her to get involved with a pirate crew so she can join the events that are happening in the story. I have not made any further decisions but that's what I've gotten so far. Also, since she's family to Smoker, she can interact with Tashigi, Hina, Midori and so on as well so Midori won't feel so separated from my other ocs.
