Hello maggots your dumbass mascot here. Have some useless Italian seasoning for the good omens Job storyline. Stay patient with me.
When I started studying Italian on Duolingo one of the first sentences Duo wanted me to learn (along with goodnight, hello, where are you) was the amazing:
"Quale balena?", or "Which whale?"
Over and over. I had to get it perfect. I thought it was useless. Why choose that sentence? Why would I be standing in Milano or the Uffizi gallery and not only discoursing whales, but enquiring which specific whale? With perfect enunciation, inflection and pronunciation. Why?
Little did i know that Duolingo was preparing me for my confrontation with God, so that when She spoke to me, I would not Fall by fudging my next clarification.
So that when She said Come back to me when you can make a whale, I could respond fluently in Italian- Which whale?
Thanks, Duolingo, I'm sorry I doubted your ineffable ways. You were in cahoots with @neil-gaiman as well as God all along.

stuff i've been up to for the past month
(translation for the 4th pic is under the cut)
a post from vk's page 'today on the street i heard':
an old couple walks by
woman, dreamily: would be nice to go somewhere and have a bite...
man, emotionally: we won't have a bite! we'll get our faces absolutely stuffed!

i have two modes
"they're not talking" what are you on. they are infinite intersection lines finally meeting at a colliding point only to drift apart again, not yet realizing the colission is not an isolated occurence but a checkerboard on the planes of their intricately connected existence. you'd be a fool to think they are anything but inevitable
"they're not talking" and crowley can do really weird things with his tongue. next

Just popping in to point out the fact that in the Spanish version of the Good Omens show, because in Spain "Ángel" is an actual (and quite common) first name and it would've been weird, Crowley calls Aziraphale "Angelito", which literally translates to "Little Angel"
(Totally normal about this, totally DID NOT SCREAM INTO A PILLOW FOR AN UNINTERRUPTED TWENTY MINUTES when I first watched it in Spanish. Yup. Ahem. We're all sane here *eye twitching*)
AND THIS IS NOT ALL
BECAUSE
In the French version, ladies and gentlemen, he calls Aziraphale "mon Ange", which translates...*deep breath*...to "My Angel"...*dEep bREaTh*..."MON ANGE" AAAAAAHHHHH
Cough cough...Please excuse the brainrot, It's getting bad.
help :)
Also, I believe he calls Aziraphale "My Angel" in Portuguese too.
Just wanted to drop this crucial piece of information (which many people probably already know), hoping it'll make someone smile 😊😁
